  • May 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: of: display_timing: fix refcount leak in of_get_display_timings() of_parse_phandle(CVE-2026-43264 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: of: display_timing: fix refcount leak in of_get_display_timings() of_parse_phandle() returns a device_node with refcount incremented, which is stored in 'entry' and then copied to 'native_mode'. When the error paths at lines 184 or 192 jump to 'entryfail', native_mode's refcount is not decremented, causing a refcount leak. Fix this by changing the goto target from 'entryfail' to 'timingfail', which properly calls of_node_put(native_mode) before cleanup.

  • May 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Adjust PHY FSM transition to TX_EN-to-PLL_ON for TMDS on DCN35 [Why] A baCVE-2026-43191 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Adjust PHY FSM transition to TX_EN-to-PLL_ON for TMDS on DCN35 [Why] A backport of the change made for DCN401 that addresses an issue where we turn off the PHY PLL when disabling TMDS output, which causes the OTG to remain stuck. The OTG being stuck can lead to a hang in the DCHVM's ability to ACK invalidations when it thinks the HUBP is still on but it's not receiving global sync. The transition to PLL_ON needs to be atomic as there's no guarantee that the thread isn't pre-empted or is able to complete before the IOMMU watchdog times out. [How] Backport the implementation from dcn401 back to dcn35. There's a functional difference in when the eDP output is disabled in dcn401 code so we don't want to utilize it directly.

  • May 1, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: auxdisplay: line-display: fix NULL dereference in linedisp_release linedisp_release() currCVE-2026-31753 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: auxdisplay: line-display: fix NULL dereference in linedisp_release linedisp_release() currently retrieves the enclosing struct linedisp via to_linedisp(). That lookup depends on the attachment list, but the attachment may already have been removed before put_device() invokes the release callback. This can happen in linedisp_unregister(), and can also be reached from some linedisp_register() error paths. In that case, to_linedisp() returns NULL and linedisp_release() dereferences it while freeing the display resources. The struct device released here is the embedded linedisp->dev used by linedisp_register(), so retrieve the enclosing object directly with container_of() instead.

  • Apr 23, 2026Xibo is an open source digital signage platform with a web content management system and Windows display player software.CVE-2026-31955 · Other software · xibosignage · reported by GitHubMedium 4.9

Xibo is an open source digital signage platform with a web content management system and Windows display player software. An authenticated Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in versions prior to 4.4.1 allows users with DataSet permissions to make arbitrary HTTP requests from the CMS server to internal or external network resources. This can be exploited to scan internal infrastructure, access local cloud metadata endpoints (e.g., AWS IMDS), interact with internal services that lack authentication, or exfiltrate data. Exploitation of the vulnerability is possible on behalf of an authorized user who has both of the following privileges, which are not granted to non-admins as standard: Include "Add DataSet" button to allow for additional DataSets to be created independently to Layouts. Users should upgrade to version 4.4.1 which fixes this issue. Upgrading to a fixed version is necessary to remediate. The printenv utility in uutils coreutils fails to display environment variables containing invalid UTF-8 byte sequences. While POSIX permits arbitrary bytes in environment strings, the uutils implementation silently skips these entries rather than printing the raw bytes. This vulnerability allows malicious environment variables (e.g., adversarial LD_PRELOAD values) to evade inspection by administrators or security auditing tools, potentially allowing library injection or other environment-based attacks to go undetected.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Do not skip unrelated mode changes in DSC validation Starting with commit 17ce8a6907f7 ("drm/amd/display: Add dsc pre-validation in atomic check"), amdgpu resets the CRTC state mode_changed flag to false when recomputing the DSC configuration results in no timing change for a particular stream. However, this is incorrect in scenarios where a change in MST/DSC configuration happens in the same KMS commit as another (unrelated) mode change. For example, the integrated panel of a laptop may be configured differently (e.g., HDR enabled/disabled) depending on whether external screens are attached. In this case, plugging in external DP-MST screens may result in the mode_changed flag being dropped incorrectly for the integrated panel if its DSC configuration did not change during precomputation in pre_validate_dsc(). At this point, however, dm_update_crtc_state() has already created new streams for CRTCs with DSC-independent mode changes. In turn, amdgpu_dm_commit_streams() will never release the old stream, resulting in a memory leak. amdgpu_dm_atomic_commit_tail() will never acquire a reference to t

  • Apr 22, 2026Google PageRank Display: Cross-Site Request ForgeryCVE-2026-6294 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Google PageRank Display plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to and including 1.4. This is due to missing nonce validation in the gpdisplay_option() function, which handles the plugin settings page. The settings form does not include a wp_nonce_field(), and the form handler does not call check_admin_referer() or wp_verify_nonce() before processing the POST request. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to trick a logged-in administrator into submitting a crafted request that changes the plugin's settings (stored via update_option()), such as the display style used to render the PageRank badge.

In iTerm2 through 3.6.9, displaying a .txt file can cause code execution via DCS 2000p and OSC 135 data, if the working directory contains a malicious file whose name is valid output from the conductor encoding path, such as a pathname with an initial ace/c+ substring, aka "hypothetical in-band signaling abuse." • Mar 21, 2026Sherk Custom Post Type Displays: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-3554 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Sherk Custom Post Type Displays plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'title' shortcode attribute in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.1. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the 'title' attribute of the 'sherkcptdisplays' shortcode. Specifically, in the sherkcptdisplays_func() function in includes/SherkCPTDisplaysShortcode.php, the 'title' attribute value is extracted from shortcode_atts() on line 19 and directly concatenated into an HTML <h2> tag on line 31 without any escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

  • Feb 24, 2026Repostat is a React component to fetch and display GitHub repository info.CVE-2026-27612 · Other software · denpiligrim · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1

Repostat is a React component to fetch and display GitHub repository info. Prior to version 1.0.1, the `RepoCard` component is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). The vulnerability occurs because the component uses React's `dangerouslySetInnerHTML` to render the repository name (`repo` prop) during the loading state without any sanitization. If a developer using this package passes unvalidated user input directly into the `repo` prop (for example, reading it from a URL query parameter), an attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the user's browser. In version 1.0.1, the use of dangerouslySetInnerHTML has been removed, and the repo prop is now safely rendered using standard React JSX data binding, which automatically escapes HTML entities.

  • Feb 18, 2026When hours are entered in time@work, version 7.0.5, it performs a query to display the projects assigned to the user.CVE-2025-59920 · Other software · systems at work · reported by cve-coordination@incibe.esHigh 8.6

When hours are entered in time@work, version 7.0.5, it performs a query to display the projects assigned to the user. If the query URL is copied and opened in a new browser window, the ‘IDClient’ parameter is vulnerable to a blind authenticated SQL injection. If the request is made with the TWAdmin user with the sysadmin role enabled, exploiting the vulnerability will allow commands to be executed on the system; if the user does not belong to the sysadmin role, they will still be able to query data from the database.

  • Feb 18, 2026Display During Conditional Shortcode: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2025-6460 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Display During Conditional Shortcode plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘message’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
