  • Sep 18, 2026EmbedPress – PDF Embedder, 3D PDF FlipBook, Google Reviews, YouTube Videos, Upload & Embed PDF documents: Reflected Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-89330 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1

The EmbedPress – PDF Embedder, 3D PDF FlipBook, Google Reviews, YouTube Videos, Upload & Embed PDF documents plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'unique' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.6.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. This is a regression: the esc_url() wrapper that remediated the equivalent CVE-2023-5749 in version 3.9.2 was removed in version 4.3.0 during a refactor that introduced the 'unique' parameter.

  • Sep 17, 2026The Photos app's filter-based "smart albums" build their file listing using the search configuration (photosSourceFolders) of the user viewing the album, ratherCVE-2026-82985 · Other software · Nextcloud · reported by support@hackerone.comMedium 6.5

The Photos app's filter-based "smart albums" build their file listing using the search configuration (photosSourceFolders) of the user viewing the album, rather than the album owner's configuration. When an album owner shares a smart album with another user, that user's own folder configuration is used to determine which of the owner's files are searched — allowing them to discover files (name, file ID, and other metadata) in folders the album owner never intended to include in the shared album. This requires the album owner to have shared a filter-based smart album with the attacker; it does not allow access to arbitrary users' files without such a share.

  • Sep 17, 2026rhwp is an HWP viewer and editor implemented in Rust and WebAssembly.CVE-2026-54565 · Other software · edwardkim · reported by GitHubMedium 4.7

rhwp is an HWP viewer and editor implemented in Rust and WebAssembly. Prior to rhwp 0.7.15 and rhwp Chrome and Firefox extension 0.2.4, the browser extensions use an all-URLs host permission to detect HWP and HWPX links on visited pages, but the service workers do not validate message senders, URL schemes, or destination addresses before privileged fetches. The affected paths are rhwp-chrome/manifest.json, rhwp-chrome/content-script.js, rhwp-chrome/sw/message-router.js, rhwp-chrome/sw/thumbnail-extractor.js, rhwp-firefox/manifest.json, rhwp-firefox/content-script.js, rhwp-firefox/sw/message-router.js, and rhwp-firefox/sw/thumbnail-extractor.js. An untrusted page can make the fetch-file and extract-thumbnail handlers request localhost or private-network resources. When a target HWP or HWPX file contains an extractable PrvImage, the extension returns the preview as a data URI in page-readable DOM, allowing page script to read it. The flaw also permits internal-resource existence and port probing and extension presence or version fingerprinting. Exploitation requires a user to visit an untrusted page while the extension is enabled, and preview disclosure is limited to an extractable P

  • Sep 17, 2026MISP contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Overmind theme's statistics views.CVE-2026-93296 · Other software · misp · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 8.5

MISP contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Overmind theme's statistics views. The event General card and the server/feed preview card constructed donut chart legend labels by directly concatenating object name or category keys into an innerHTML string without HTML-encoding. Because MISP object names are user-controllable by any authenticated user with sufficient permissions to create or modify such objects, an attacker could craft a name containing malicious markup. When any other user viewed the affected Overmind dashboard, the injected markup would be interpreted as live HTML/JavaScript in the victim's browser, executing in the context of the MISP application origin. This could allow session hijacking, data exfiltration, or arbitrary actions performed on behalf of the victim.  The vulnerability requires the attacker to have low-level authenticated access to create or rename an object whose name is rendered in the legend, and the victim to view the Overmind event or server preview page. No special browser conditions or race conditions are required.

  • Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iomap: release the folio batch on iomap callback failures A sashiko review of an unrelatedCVE-2026-90384 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iomap: release the folio batch on iomap callback failures A sashiko review of an unrelated patch points out that the folio batch mechanism used for iomap zero range fails to release the batch in a couple error scenarios. If either calls to ->iomap_end() or ->iomap_begin() fail, the direct return paths bypass the batch cleanup. The ->iomap_end() case is not a practical issue at the moment because there is no user of the mechanism that returns an error from this path. The ->iomap_begin() case is theoretically possible because XFS can invoke the fill helper and error out at various points thereafter. This subtly complicates things because XFS does not transfer iomap_flags to the iomap data structure in the error path. To deal with both of these issues, first make sure to invoke the cleanup helper in the error path for either fs callback. Second, update the helper to clear the flag unconditionally and release the batch so long as it is populated. This more clearly delineates the purpose of the flag to control the I/O path and not necessarily the status of the fbatch, so add a comment around this as well.

  • Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix mmap_lock deadlock on arena lock failure Reported by the Sashiko AI review.CVE-2026-90342 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix mmap_lock deadlock on arena lock failure Reported by the Sashiko AI review. arena_vm_fault() returns VM_FAULT_RETRY when it can't take arena->spinlock, but it never took mmap_lock. The fault path assumes a VM_FAULT_RETRY handler already dropped mmap_lock and re-takes it on the retry, so mmap_lock gets taken twice and can deadlock: do_user_addr_fault() { fault = handle_mm_fault(...); // calls arena_vm_fault() if (fault & VM_FAULT_RETRY) goto retry; // re-locks mmap_lock mmap_read_unlock(mm); } Return VM_FAULT_SIGBUS instead, for two reasons: 1. We could keep VM_FAULT_RETRY, but then we'd have to drop the fault lock first and cap the retry ourselves, the way __folio_lock_or_retry() does. 2. A failed raw_res_spin_lock_irqsave() already means a possible deadlock was detected, so retrying just hits the same lock again. So returning VM_FAULT_RETRY here is overkill.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: kyro: Validate overlay viewport coordinates The overlay viewport end coordinates are computed from the viewport origin and dimensions using 32-bit unsigned arithmetic. Large input values can cause these calculations to wrap around before the resulting coordinates are passed to SetOverlayViewPort(). SetOverlayViewPort() packs the viewport coordinates into 16-bit register fields. The X coordinates are additionally adjusted by +2 and +1 before being written. Validate the coordinate calculations for 32-bit wraparound and ensure that the adjusted coordinates fit within their 16-bit register fields before calling SetOverlayViewPort(). • Sep 16, 2026djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance.CVE-2026-61599 · Other software · djust-org · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, the djust live transport resolves the LiveView to mount from a client-supplied dotted path by calling `__import__(module_path, ...)`. The module is imported — running its top-level code (import side effects) — before the framework checks that the resolved object is a `LiveView` subclass and before any per-view authentication. The `LIVEVIEW_ALLOWED_MODULES` allowlist that should contain this is fail-open (`if allowed_modules:` — skipped when the setting is unset, the framework default) and uses loose `startswith` matching. An unauthenticated WebSocket client (the WS handshake does not require auth; per-view auth runs only after import + instantiate) can therefore send a `mount` / `live_redirect_mount` / `url_change` frame (or an SSE mount) with `view = "<any.importable.module>.AnyName"` and cause the server to import — and execute the top-level code of — any importable Python module by name. Version 1.0.7 fixes the issue with a fail-closed resolution gate (`djust._view_resolution.is_view_import_allowed`): a client view path resolves only if (a) its m

  • Sep 16, 2026djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance.CVE-2026-61596 · Other software · djust-org · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, djust's per-object authorization (`get_object` + `has_object_permission`, ADR-017) was enforced on the WebSocket mount and event paths but not on three other render entry points: (a) the initial HTTP GET render, (b) SPA `url_change` navigation, and (c) `{% live_render %}` embedded child views. An authenticated user could therefore view (and on some paths act on) an object they are not authorized for by loading the page directly, navigating to it via SPA url-change, or composing it as an embedded child — a classic IDOR / broken object-level access control on object-scoped views. This is fixed in djust 1.0.7. All render entry points now route through a shared `enforce_object_permission` chokepoint: HTTP GET returns 403, `url_change` emits a `permission_denied` frame and skips the render, and `{% live_render %}` (eager + lazy) refuses the embed. Views without a custom `get_object` are unaffected (no-op). No reliable workaround short of upgrading. Do not expose object-scoped views through the HTTP-GET / url_change / live_render paths until patched.

  • Sep 16, 2026djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance.CVE-2026-61589 · Other software · djust-org · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, the WebSocket `handle_mount` and `ViewRuntime._build_request` rebuild an `HttpRequest` via `RequestFactory().get(...)` with no `HTTP_HOST`, so `request.get_host()` defaulted to `"testserver"` on the live path. Host/subdomain/domain `TenantResolver`s then misresolved the tenant — `None` on the live path while the HTTP path resolved correctly. With `STRICT_MODE=False` the tenant-scoped managers returned unscoped rows (cross-tenant disclosure); with the default they returned an empty queryset (broken tenancy). This is fixed in djust 1.0.7. The handshake Host is extracted from the ASGI scope, validated against `ALLOWED_HOSTS` (the same logic as the CSWSH Origin gate, parsed with Django's `split_domain_port` so malformed Hosts are rejected at the boundary), and propagated — with the TLS scheme — into the reconstructed request, so live-path tenant resolution matches HTTP exactly. There is no known workaround on the live path short of upgrading. Users are most exposed when combined with `STRICT_MODE=False`.

  • Sep 16, 2026djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance.CVE-2026-61588 · Other software · djust-org · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, when a Django `Model` instance is assigned to a public view attribute, djust serialized it to the client with no sensitive-field denylist — sending fields such as `password` (the hash), privilege flags (e.g. `is_staff` / `is_superuser`), tokens, and other PII to the browser. Because exposing model objects to templates is a normal djust pattern, this could leak credentials/PII without the developer realizing the full object crossed the wire. This is fixed in djust 1.0.7. Model serialization applies a secure-by-default sensitive-field denylist (password/hash/token/secret-style fields and known privilege flags are withheld) with an identity-subset fallback. As a workaround, keep `Model` instances on `_private` attributes and expose only the specific fields needed, until patched.

Craft CMS versions 5.10.0 through 5.10.12 contain an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-55794: the Controller::getPostedRedirectUrl() -> View::renderObjectTemplate() sink remained unsandboxed, and the same fix commit added a self-signing oracle in Cp::elementLabelHtml(). Because Craft/Yii HMAC tokens are not bound to a parameter name, an authenticated low-privilege control panel user with edit rights on a single element type can mint a token over attacker-controlled Twig for the returnUrl parameter and replay it as the redirect POST parameter, reaching the unsandboxed sink and achieving server-side template injection that executes arbitrary PHP code (full server compromise). The issue is fixed in 5.10.13.

djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, many djust built-in component template tags (`djust.components.templatetags.*`) render a developer/user-supplied URL into an `href` / `action` attribute, HTML-escaping it with `conditional_escape` but never validating the URL scheme. HTML escaping prevents attribute breakout but does not neutralize a `javascript:` URI (which needs no escapable characters), so a URL value of `javascript:alert(document.cookie)` lands verbatim in `<a href="javascript:alert(document.cookie)">` and executes in the victim's session on click. Version 1.0.7 contains a fix. As a workaround, do not pass user-controllable URLs to the affected built-in component tags; pre-validate URL schemes in application code before binding them to component arguments.

djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, the live (WebSocket) transport authorizes a mount via `check_view_auth`, not Django's `View.dispatch()` chain. As a result, standard Django authorization — `LoginRequiredMixin`, `PermissionRequiredMixin`, `UserPassesTestMixin`, `@method_decorator(login_required, name="dispatch")`, and custom `dispatch()` guards — and the djust admin extension's staff gate (applied only in the HTTP `as_view` wrapper) were enforced on the initial HTTP GET but silently bypassed over WebSocket, where all events and state flow. An anonymous or under-privileged client could open a WebSocket and mount such a view — including admin list/create/change/delete — and dispatch its handlers. This is fixed in djust 1.0.7. `check_view_auth` now honors the Django `AccessMixin` family on every transport; a new system check S004 fails loud at startup on auth patterns the runtime cannot safely replay (decorator/overridden-`dispatch` forms); and the admin base mixin declares `login_required = True` + an active-staff `check_permissions` gate. djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, SSE sessions were keyed solely by a client-chosen `session_id` with no binding to the authenticated user — a control the WebSocket transport has but that was dropped on SSE. An attacker who learns (or a victim who leaks) a `session_id` could connect to the message endpoint and dispatch event handlers that execute with the victim's identity and state. This is fixed in djust 1.0.7. Each SSE session is bound to its owning principal at creation and cross-principal access is rejected; SSE session creation is additionally capped per principal. djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, for views that opt into state snapshots, the snapshot `state_json` embedded in the client page was restored on reconnect as trusted view state with no integrity check. A client could edit the unsigned `state_json` in their page and return it in the reconnect mount frame to inject arbitrary view attributes — e.g. flip `is_admin` to `True`, or change `account_id` / `balance` — escalating privilege or tampering with business state held in public view attributes (the normal djust pattern). This issue is fixed in djust 1.0.7. State snapshots are signed; unsigned or forged snapshots are rejected on the back-navigation restore path. kkFileView >= 4.2.0 is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). The cross-origin file proxy endpoint /getCorsFile is protected by TrustHostFilter against the trust.host whitelist. However, the URL parameter validated by the filter is not the same parameter the controller actually fetches: the filter validates the first non-empty parameter in a fixed priority order, while the controller only reads and fetches urlPath. By supplying both urlPath=<real target> and url=<whitelisted decoy address> in the same request, the decoy passes validation while the unvalidated real target is fetched server-side — and the response body is echoed back to the attacker.

Concrete CMS 9 through 9.5.3 did not confirm that a board InstanceItem submitted to the custom-slot preview endpoint belonged to the board instance the requesting user was authorized to edit, and did not enforce page-view permission before generating page-backed summary content. As a result, an authenticated user holding edit-board-contents permission on a single board instance could submit the identifier of an item belonging to a different board instance and receive summary fields, including the page title and description, of an underlying page the same user was otherwise forbidden to view. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 5.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, `djust.tenants` isolation was enforced only on the HTTP path. The current tenant was stored in `threading.local()` and set exclusively by the HTTP-only `TenantMiddleware`, so on the live (WebSocket/SSE) path `get_current_tenant()` was always `None` during mount and every event handler — and the tenant-aware `QuerySet` manager failed OPEN (returned the unfiltered queryset, ignoring `STRICT_MODE`), disclosing every tenant's rows to whoever held the socket. `threading.local` was additionally shared across connections on the `sync_to_async` executor thread. This issue is fixed in djust 1.0.7. Tenant storage moved to a `contextvars.ContextVar` (per async task); the resolved tenant is bound around WS/SSE mount and every dispatch; both managers scope the base queryset once and fail CLOSED (`.none()` under the default `STRICT_MODE`); and system check S006 warns when `STRICT_MODE=False`. No known workarounds are available on the live path.

djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, the SSE client→server POST endpoints are `@csrf_exempt` and the SSE GET stream endpoint had no Origin check, so a cross-origin page could drive a victim-cookie-authenticated SSE session: force the victim's browser to GET the stream URL (which creates and mounts a LiveView as the victim) and POST to the message endpoint with `credentials: include` to fire state-changing event handlers as the victim. The URL `session_id` is client-chosen (validated only for UUID *format*), so it is not a CSRF token, and a JSON body sent as `text/plain` is a CORS simple request with no preflight. The issue is fixed in 1.0.7. All three SSE endpoints validate the request `Origin` against `ALLOWED_HOSTS` (mirroring the WebSocket CSWSH defense) and reject cross-origin requests with 403; the POST endpoints additionally require `Content-Type: application/json` (415 otherwise), closing the `text/plain` simple-request bypass. As a workaround, disable the SSE transport, or front it with a proxy that enforces an Origin allowlist.

djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, `djust.mixins.model_binding.ModelBindingMixin` provides a default `update_model` event handler and is part of the LiveView base MRO, so every LiveView exposes it. It `setattr`s a view attribute whose name is client-supplied (`field`), gated only by: reject `_`-prefixed names; reject a 14-entry denylist of framework internals (`FORBIDDEN_MODEL_FIELDS`); optional `allowed_model_fields` which defaults to None = allow all; and `hasattr` existence. As a result, a client can set any public, existing view attribute — not just the fields actually bound with `dj-model=` in the rendered template. The denylist covers framework plumbing but nothing about developer business/authz state, and the allowlist is opt-in (off by default). A developer who binds one `dj-model="search"` input and also keeps `self.account_id` / `self.is_admin` / `self.total_price` as view state does not realize a client can set ALL of them via `{type:event, event:"update_model", params:{field, value}}` over the WebSocket. Type coercion matches the target attribute's type (so `"true"` -> bo

djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, djust's observability endpoints expose live view/session state and a remote method-invocation surface (`eval_handler`). The localhost restriction was an opt-in middleware that the documented setup omits; the views themselves enforced only `DEBUG`. In the misconfigured-but-documented scenario (DEBUG on, middleware not installed) a non-localhost client could read live application state and invoke handlers remotely. This issue is fixed in djust 1.0.7. The localhost restriction is enforced in-view on every observability endpoint (no longer dependent on a separately-installed middleware), and `eval_handler` is restricted; gated requests receive a non-disclosing response. As a workaround, ensure `DEBUG=False` in production, and do not expose the observability endpoints to untrusted networks.

On platforms without any reserved memory regions, get_reserved_memory_ranges() can return 0 while leaving 'rmem' unallocated as NULL. Passing it directly leads to a kernel panic when evaluating 'rmem->nr_ranges'. Add a NULL check for 'rmem' to prevent this crash.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/kexec_file: Prevent kexec range truncation Sashiko AI review pointed out the following issue. The __merge_memory_ranges() function incorrectly handles overlapping memory ranges when merging them. Although sort_memory_ranges() sorts all ranges by their start address in ascending order beforehand, the merge logic remains defective in two ways: 1. It compares the current range's start against the previous element (i-1) instead of the running target index (idx) 2. It unconditionally overwrites 'ranges[idx].end' with 'ranges[i].end'. This logic flaw leads to critical memory truncation when a larger memory range completely subsumes subsequent smaller ranges. For example, consider a sorted input array with three ranges: Range A (idx=0): [0x1000 - 0x9000] Range B (i=1): [0x2000 - 0x5000] (completely inside Range A) Range C (i=2): [0x6000 - 0x8000] (completely inside Range A) 1. When i=1 (Range B): ranges[1].start (0x2000) <= ranges[0].end + 1 (0x9001) is TRUE. The code executes: ranges[0].end = ranges[1].end, which erroneously shrinks Range A's end from 0x9000 down to 0x5000. 2. When

Description The Logviewer offers `logs.users` and `logs.groups` so operators can control who may read log content. For daemon logs those settings were not applied: the access decision combined the "this is a daemon log" flag with the authorizer result in a way that discarded the authorizer's answer whenever the flag was set, and the daemon log page and download endpoints reached the handler without consulting an authorizer at all. Any user able to pass the configured servlet filter could therefore read `nimbus.log`, `supervisor.log` and the other daemon logs on every reachable node, which contain other tenants' topology names, owners and configuration fragments. The same advisory covers the log listing endpoints, which accepted a user argument and never applied it, so `/listLogs` and `/searchLogs` returned every tenant's topology and worker log file names regardless of the caller. That part is metadata only. There was no configuration that closed either behaviour. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where the daemon log paths evaluate the same configured user and group lists that the worker log paths already used, and the listing endpoints filter by the requesting user. Users who ca
