  • Aug 24, 2026The official Flair wheels for 0.15.0 and 0.15.1 still contain flair/models/clustering.py, whose ClusteringModel.load static method returns pickle.loads(joblib.lCVE-2026-76843 · Other software · flairNLP · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.4

The official Flair wheels for 0.15.0 and 0.15.1 still contain flair/models/clustering.py, whose ClusteringModel.load static method returns pickle.loads(joblib.load(str(model_file))) and so executes arbitrary Python while loading a model file. Loading a model supplied by an attacker therefore runs that attacker's code with the privileges of the loading process. This is the same sink and the same file as CVE-2024-10073, which records 0.15.0 as the fixed version on the basis that clustering support was dropped in that release; the module was removed from the documented API but remains present in the distributed artifact and reachable by importing flair.models.clustering directly, so the earlier record's fixed version does not hold for the shipped package.

  • Aug 24, 2026Xinference loads models with Hugging Face remote code execution unconditionally enabled, and before version 2.12.0 exposes no setting to disable it.CVE-2026-76841 · Other software · xorbitsai · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

Xinference loads models with Hugging Face remote code execution unconditionally enabled, and before version 2.12.0 exposes no setting to disable it. Six loader call sites pass trust_remote_code=True as a literal or as an unconditional default: RerankModel._get_tokenizer in xinference/model/rerank/core.py, SentenceTransformerRerankModel.load in xinference/model/rerank/sentence_transformers/core.py, SentenceTransformerEmbeddingModel.load in xinference/model/embedding/sentence_transformers/core.py, FlagEmbeddingModel.load in xinference/model/embedding/flag/core.py, and two sites in xinference/model/llm/transformers/core.py where PytorchModel._sanitize_model_config and PytorchModel._get_components default the value to True. Because a caller with model launch access can register a model whose type is unknown and supply an arbitrary model path, the server reaches _auto_detect_type and then AutoTokenizer.from_pretrained, which imports and executes Python declared by the model directory's own tokenizer_config.json auto_map, running attacker-supplied code with the privileges of the worker process. Version 2.12.0 gates every site behind allow_trust_remote_code and the XINFERENCE_TRUST_REMOTE

  • Aug 21, 2026Xinference is an inference API for running open-source, speech, and multimodal models.CVE-2026-61539 · Other software · xorbitsai · reported by GitHubCritical 10

Xinference is an inference API for running open-source, speech, and multimodal models. In 2.5.0 and earlier, Xinference passes attacker-influenced Llama3 tool-call output to eval() in xinference/model/llm/tool_parsers/llama3_tool_parser.py and xinference/model/llm/utils.py. Requests to /v1/chat/completions with a tools field flow through xinference/api/restful_api.py, xinference/model/llm/transformers/core.py, handle_chat_result_non_streaming(), and _post_process_completion() before extract_tool_calls() or _eval_llama3_chat_arguments() evaluates the model-generated Python expression. An unauthenticated remote attacker can influence that output through a crafted prompt and execute commands in the Xinference server process context. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.0.

  • Aug 21, 2026FiftyOne is an open-source platform for refining high-quality datasets and visual AI models.CVE-2026-53656 · Other software · voxel51 · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

FiftyOne is an open-source platform for refining high-quality datasets and visual AI models. Prior to 1.17.0, the FiftyOne App/API server in fiftyone/server/app.py and the /media route in fiftyone/server/routes/media.py unconditionally return Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *. Because the embedded server is local and unauthenticated, a malicious website visited by the user can read cross-origin responses. The /media endpoint accepts a filesystem path, allowing a drive-by page to read files accessible to the server process and exfiltrate them without additional clicks. The allowed_origins configuration and FIFTYONE_ALLOWED_ORIGINS environment variable now make cross-origin access explicit, while the default policy is same-origin. • Aug 21, 2026In ONNX before 1.21.0, the 'save_external_data' function builds the external-data file path from the model's external_data location field and opens it for writiCVE-2026-49114 · Other software · ONNX · reported by 9119a7d8-5eab-497f-8521-727c672e3725Medium 6.8

In ONNX before 1.21.0, the 'save_external_data' function builds the external-data file path from the model's external_data location field and opens it for writing without 'O_NOFOLLOW/O_EXCL', after a non-atomic 'os.path.isfile()' check. A local attacker with write access to the directory where a victim serializes external data can deterministically pre-plant a symlink that is being followed, causing the victim's write to append to any file the victim can write, e.g. ~/.ssh/authorized_keys, cron files, or application configs. Hugging Face PyTorch Image Models checkpoint Deserialization of Untrusted Data Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Hugging Face PyTorch Image Models. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of checkpoints. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in deserialization of untrusted data. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-27987.

  • Aug 19, 2026In Splunk AI Toolkit versions below 6.0.0, a user who holds the "power" Splunk role could execute arbitrary code on the Splunk server by loading a model file coCVE-2026-76395 · Other software · Splunk · reported by psirt@cisco.comHigh 8.8

In Splunk AI Toolkit versions below 6.0.0, a user who holds the "power" Splunk role could execute arbitrary code on the Splunk server by loading a model file containing crafted sparse matrix data. • Aug 18, 2026Hugo 0.161.0 placed the Node asset pipelines behind the Node.js permission model so that code running through PostCSS, Babel, or TailwindCSS could not reach theCVE-2026-75926 · Other software · gohugoio · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3

Hugo 0.161.0 placed the Node asset pipelines behind the Node.js permission model so that code running through PostCSS, Babel, or TailwindCSS could not reach the file system outside the project directory. Hugo 0.162.0 added tailwindcss to the AllowChildProcess default in config/security/securityConfig.go, which makes nodePermissionArgs in common/hexec/exec.go append --allow-child-process whenever the tool being launched is named tailwindcss. TailwindCSS loads the site's tailwind.config.js through require at startup, so top-level code in that file executes inside the permitted Node process and can call child_process to spawn a shell. The spawned process is not a Node process and inherits none of the permission flags, so it runs with the full privileges of the account performing the build. Building a site whose theme, module, or starter template supplies the Tailwind configuration therefore yields arbitrary command execution rather than the confined file access the permission model was introduced to enforce. Hugo 0.165.0 removes tailwindcss from the default security.exec.allow list, so the tool is no longer launched under the default configuration.

Prior to 0.26.0, the /v1/completions/derender and /v1/chat/completions/derender endpoints accept caller-supplied GenerateResponse objects whose generate_responses, choices, token_ids, prompt_logprobs, logprobs.content, top_logprobs, and routed_experts structures are processed by OnlineDerenderer and tokenizer.decode before max_model_len, max_tokens, max_num_seqs, or response-size limits are enforced, allowing an authenticated API client to consume excessive CPU and memory and produce oversized responses. This issue is fixed in version 0.26.0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbcon: fix NULL pointer dereference for a console without vc_data fbcon_new_modelist() runs when a framebuffer's modelist changes. For each console mapped to it with fb_display[i].mode set, it reads vc_cons[i].d and passes the vc_num to fbcon_set_disp(). This assumes a console with a mode set has a vc_data, but it can be NULL. fbcon_set_disp() sets fb_display[i].mode before it checks vc_data, and fbcon_deinit() leaves the mode set after the vc_data is freed. fbcon_new_modelist() then dereferences the NULL vc_data. Keep fb_display[i].mode set only while the console has a vc_data. Check vc_data before setting the mode in fbcon_set_disp(), and clear the mode in fbcon_deinit(). The existing mode check in fbcon_new_modelist() then skips such consoles.

SiYuan versions <= v3.7.2 contain a SQL injection vulnerability in the backlink/mention search query (kernel/model/backlink.go), which concatenates stored block metadata (title, name, alias, anchor text) and the client-supplied keyword into a SQL MATCH/search statement while escaping only the double-quote character and not the single quote. A single quote in the client keyword (first-order, reachable by an anonymous or RoleReader user on the publish surface) or in stored document metadata (second-order) breaks out of the string literal. Because the query runs on the main read-write siyuan.db handle via a statement-stacking-capable driver, an attacker can execute arbitrary SQL, enabling cross-notebook read and write. Fixed in v3.7.4.

A Kibana Machine Learning capability that removes a saved object from the current space accepts machine learning trained models as a target, but it verifies only the privileges that apply to anomaly detection jobs and data frame analytics jobs. A user whose role grants create anomaly detection jobs and data frame analytics jobs without the trained model privilege can therefore remove a trained model from a space. The model itself is not deleted and remains available in its other spaces, and the change can be reversed by a suitably privileged user.

  • Aug 13, 2026The native inference process that Elasticsearch uses to evaluate uploaded machine learning models accepts a model operation that computes a memory address from CVE-2026-72642 · Other software · Elastic · reported by security@elastic.coHigh 8.8

The native inference process that Elasticsearch uses to evaluate uploaded machine learning models accepts a model operation that computes a memory address from an offset supplied inside the model, without validating that the offset stays within the bounds of the underlying storage. A user with the privileges required to upload and deploy a trained model can craft a model that reads and writes memory outside the intended allocation. The result is heap corruption that crashes the inference process, and, with sufficient control over the heap layout, could allow arbitrary code execution in the context of that process.

Mongoose is a MongoDB object modeling tool designed to work in an asynchronous environment. Prior to 6.13.10, 7.8.10, 8.24.1, and 9.7.2, passing a user-controlled update such as MyModel.updateOne(filter, req.body) can exploit Mongoose update casting with a __proto__.x dotted path under $set. Schema.prototype.path and Schema.prototype._getPathType can treat inherited properties of schema.paths and schema.nested as schema types, allowing the casting process to set $fullPath and $parentSchemaDocArray on Object.prototype before throwing. This prototype pollution makes those properties visible on newly created objects and can cause application integrity and availability impacts. Yuxi is a large-model-based intelligent knowledge base and knowledge graph agent development platform. Prior to version 0.6.2, the project's authentication mechanism contains a flaw. In affected versions, the system does not sufficiently validate the identity token in the Authorization header — only performing a validity check. This allows an administrator token generated in another deployment instance or local testing environment to be used to access the backend management interfaces of a different affected instance. An attacker who obtains or constructs an acceptable administrator Authorization token may bypass normal login authentication and gain administrator privileges. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to access system configurations, invoke backend management APIs, create administrator accounts, and ultimately take over the system backend. This issue has been fixed in version 0.6.2. Before upgrading, users are advised to implement the following temporary measures: Set the environment variable `JWT_SECRET_KEY` to a non-default value, and configure a unique, sufficiently strong JWT/authentication key for each deployment instance; and/or avoid exposing backend manageme
