In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix partial invalidation of streaming-write folio In netfs_invalidate_folio(), if the region of a partial invalidation overlaps the front (but not all) of a dirty write cached in a streaming write page (dirty, but not uptodate, with the dirty region tracked by a netfs_folio struct), the function modifies the dirty region - but incorrectly as it moves the region forward by setting the start to the start, not the end, of the invalidation region. Fix this by setting finfo->dirty_offset to the end of the invalidation region (iend).

  • Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix netfs_invalidate_folio() to clear dirty bit if all changes gone If a streaming CVE-2026-64064 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix netfs_invalidate_folio() to clear dirty bit if all changes gone If a streaming write is made, this will leave the relevant modified folio in a not-uptodate, but dirty state with a netfs_folio struct hung off of folio->private indicating the dirty range. Subsequently truncating the file such that the dirty data in the folio is removed, but the first part of the folio theoretically remains will cause the netfs_folio struct to be discarded... but will leave the dirty flag set. If the folio is then read via mmap(), netfs_read_folio() will see that the page is dirty and jump to netfs_read_gaps() to fill in the missing bits. netfs_read_gaps(), however, expects there to be a netfs_folio struct present and can oops because truncate removed it. Fix this by calling folio_cancel_dirty() in netfs_invalidate_folio() in the event that all the dirty data in the folio is erased (as nfs does). Also add some tracepoints to log modifications to a dirty page. This can be reproduced with something like: dd if=/dev/zero of=/xfstest.test/foo bs=1M count=1 umount /xfstest.test mount /xfstest.test xfs_io

  • Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix streaming write being overwritten In order to avoid reading whilst writing, netCVE-2026-64063 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix streaming write being overwritten In order to avoid reading whilst writing, netfslib will allow "streaming writes" in which dirty data is stored directly into folios without reading them first. Such folios are marked dirty but may not be marked uptodate. If a folio is entirely written by a streaming write, uptodate will be set, otherwise it will have a netfs_folio struct attached to ->private recording the dirty region. In the event that a partially written streaming write page is to be overwritten entirely by a single write(), netfs_perform_write() will try to copy over it, but doesn't discard the netfs_folio if it succeeds; further, it doesn't correctly handle a partial copy that overwrites some of the dirty data. Fix this by the following: (1) If the folio is successfully overwritten, free the netfs_folio struct before marking the page uptodate. (2) If the copy to the folio partially fails, but short of the dirty data, just ignore the copy. (3) If the copy partially fails and overwrites some of the dirty data, accept the copy, update the netfs_folio struct to record the new d

  • Jul 17, 2026rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language.CVE-2026-45784 · Other software · rust-openssl · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1

rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language. From 0.10.50 until 0.10.80, CipherCtxRef::cipher_update_inplace in openssl/src/cipher_ctx.rs incorrectly sized output buffers when used with AES key-wrap-with-padding ciphers EVP_aes_{128,192,256}_wrap_pad. For a non-multiple-of-8 input, OpenSSL writes up to 7 bytes past the end of the caller's buffer or Vec, producing attacker-controllable heap corruption when the plaintext length is attacker-influenced. • Jul 17, 2026ForgeCode (tailcallhq/forgecode), an AI pair-programming CLI, automatically loads and executes the MCP servers defined in a repository's .mcp.json file on startCVE-2026-57860 · Other software · tailcallhq · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.4

ForgeCode (tailcallhq/forgecode), an AI pair-programming CLI, automatically loads and executes the MCP servers defined in a repository's .mcp.json file on startup without user confirmation. A malicious repository can supply a crafted .mcp.json whose mcpServers entries specify arbitrary command and args values (for example, command: bash with args: ['-c', 'touch /tmp/pwned']). When a user runs the forge CLI inside a cloned untrusted repository, the specified commands are spawned with the invoking user's privileges, resulting in arbitrary code execution. • Jul 16, 2026Landing Page Builder – Coming Soon page, Maintenance Mode, Lead Page, WordPress Landing Pages: Cross-Site Request ForgeryCVE-2026-12409 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Landing Page Builder – Coming Soon page, Maintenance Mode, Lead Page, WordPress Landing Pages plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.3.6. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the ulpb_admin_ajax function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create, update, retitle, or change the post status, slug, and type of arbitrary posts and write ULPB_DATA post meta via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. This attack requires the victim to hold an editor-level or administrator session, as the wp_ajax_ulpb_admin_data action enforces a capability check that the forged request must satisfy by inheriting the logged-in user's session cookies.

File Browser is a file managing interface for uploading, deleting, previewing, renaming, and editing files within a specified directory. Prior to 2.63.17, File Browser can leave a public directory share behind when the shared directory is deleted through a path with a trailing slash because the share cleanup path calls DeleteWithPathPrefix(file.Path, userID) and the Bolt backend performs the database prefix query with the unnormalized path before trimming the slash for boundary checks, so deleting /a/ does not delete the stored /a share and the stale public share exposes future content if the same path is recreated. In OpENer 2.3.0 (commit 76b95cf) when parsing incoming CIP (Common Industrial Protocol) network packets, the length parameter is inconsistently typed across the call stack. Specifically, an upstream length calculated as an int is passed to a downstream function that expects an EipInt16 (a 16-bit signed integer). If a maliciously crafted packet with specific length fields is processed, the length parameter can overflow or be truncated into a negative value. This negative length bypasses subsequent bounds checking (due to signed/unsigned comparison issues) and is ultimately used in memory operations, leading to a Stack Buffer Overflow when reading data in DecodePaddedEPath.

Prior to 4.2.6, RabbitMQ AMQP 0-9-1 allows an existing consumer to keep receiving messages after OAuth token expiry or connection.update_secret refresh to reduced scopes because existing consumers are not canceled or reauthorized at delivery time after the channel user state changes. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.6.

RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to 3.13.15, 4.0.21, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6, RabbitMQ topic authorization can allow restricted topic writes and binds during metadata-store failures because topic-permission lookup errors from Khepri can collapse to undefined, which the internal backend treats as allow. RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6, AMQP 0-9-1, AMQP 1.0, and Stream Protocol authentication can allow a loopback-restricted user such as guest to connect remotely when traffic is accepted through a trusted PROXY-protocol path and the backend listener is loopback-bound because the loopback check uses the listener-side socket address instead of the real client source. RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6, RabbitMQ allows foreign bindings to amq.rabbitmq.reply-to destinations because volatile direct-reply-to queues can be accepted at bind and route time but are missing from Khepri-backed deletion checks, leaving persistent route entries after unbind. Weaviate before 1.38.0 does not verify that a principal performing an RBAC role assignment holds the permissions granted by the assigned role. The assignRoleToUser and assignRoleToGroup handlers (POST /authz/users/{id}/assign and /authz/groups/{id}/assign) authorize only that the caller may assign roles to the target user or group, not the permissions contained in the assigned roles, unlike role creation which enforces that a user can only create roles with permissions less than or equal to its own. A user holding only the delegated assign_and_revoke_users or assign_and_revoke_groups permission can assign the built-in admin role, or any high-privilege custom role, to itself or others, escalating to full administrative control of the database.

@fastify/middie versions 9.1.0 through 9.3.2 fail to guard the URL normalization step used by the standalone engine when incoming request paths contain malformed percent-encoded sequences. Inputs such as an incomplete percent escape or a truncated multibyte sequence cause the underlying decoder to throw synchronously, and the exception escapes the middie normalize step and terminates the Node.js process. The bypass affects applications that call middie.run directly on the standalone engine API, causing an immediate denial of service for all connected clients until restart. Applications using the Fastify plugin path are not affected because Fastifys error handler catches the exception. Patches: upgrade to @fastify/middie 9.3.3. Workarounds: migrate from the standalone engine API to the Fastify plugin path, where the framework error handler catches the exception.

Hono before 4.10.3 contains a flaw in its CORS middleware: when the origin is not set to "*", the middleware copies the Vary header from the incoming request into the response. Because Vary is a response header that should be managed by the server, an attacker can supply arbitrary Vary values that are reflected into the response, potentially causing cache key pollution and inconsistent CORS enforcement in environments that rely on shared caches or proxies.

  • Jun 29, 2026CryptX versions before 0.088_001 for Perl compare AEAD authentication tags in non-constant time in the streaming decrypt_done path.CVE-2026-13758 · Other software · MIK · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eLow 3.7

CryptX versions before 0.088_001 for Perl compare AEAD authentication tags in non-constant time in the streaming decrypt_done path. The decrypt_done($tag) form compares it against the computed tag with memNE (memcmp() != 0), which short-circuits on the first differing byte, so its run time depends on the number of matching leading bytes. This affects all five AEAD modes: GCM, CCM, ChaCha20Poly1305, EAX and OCB. The one-shot *_decrypt_verify helpers are unaffected; they verify the tag inside libtomcrypt with a constant-time comparison. The timing difference is a tag-verification oracle. An attacker who can submit many candidate tags for the same nonce, ciphertext and associated data while measuring the timing precisely enough may recover the expected tag byte by byte and forge a message that verifies.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mana: Use pci_name() for debugfs directory naming Use pci_name(pdev) for the per-device debugfs directory instead of hardcoded "0" for PFs and pci_slot_name(pdev->slot) for VFs. The previous approach had two issues: 1. pci_slot_name() dereferences pdev->slot, which can be NULL for VFs in environments like generic VFIO passthrough or nested KVM, causing a NULL pointer dereference. 2. Multiple PFs would all use "0", and VFs across different PCI domains or buses could share the same slot name, leading to -EEXIST errors from debugfs_create_dir(). pci_name(pdev) returns the unique BDF address, is always valid, and is unique across the system.
