Concrete CMS 9.5.2 and below is vulnerable to stored DOM-based Cross-site Scripting (XSS) via the Gallery block's per-image Caption field because the bundled Magnific Popup lightbox script (concrete/js/features/imagery/frontend.js) re-parses the attribute-decoded caption as HTML through jQuery's .append() in titleSrc instead of inserting it as text. A user with permission to edit a page containing a Gallery block can store a caption that executes in the browser of any visitor who opens that image's lightbox. • Sep 15, 2026plone.app.textfield provides a zope.schema-style field type called RichText for storing a value with a related MIME type.CVE-2026-54503 · Other software · plone · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3

plone.app.textfield provides a zope.schema-style field type called RichText for storing a value with a related MIME type. Prior to 2.0.2, 3.0.2, and 4.0.1, depending on the release line, RichTextValue.output returns an unsanitized stored RichText value when mimeType equals outputMimeType, including values that claim the text/x-html-safe output type. This equality shortcut bypasses the safe_html transform even though the transform itself correctly removes event-handler attributes and unsafe URI schemes. Equal types can result from a RichText field configured with the same mimeType and outputMimeType or from REST API input that supplies text/x-html-safe as its content type. The raw stored value is then emitted through tal:content=structure without escaping, allowing a user who can set a RichText field to store JavaScript that executes in a viewer's browser. This issue is fixed in versions 2.0.2, 3.0.2, and 4.0.1.

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: widen nfsd_genl_rqstp address fields to sockaddr_storage struct nfsd_genl_rqstp declCVE-2026-89698 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: widen nfsd_genl_rqstp address fields to sockaddr_storage struct nfsd_genl_rqstp declares rq_daddr and rq_saddr as plain "struct sockaddr" (16 bytes). When an IPv6 NFS client is connected, nfsd_genl_rpc_status_compose_msg() casts these fields to "struct sockaddr_in6 *" (28 bytes) and reads sin6_addr at offset 8..24, which extends 8 bytes past the end of the 16-byte sockaddr field into the adjacent rq_flags member. The 16-byte nla_put_in6_addr then ships 8 bytes of truncated IPv6 address followed by 8 bytes of rq_flags to userspace via the NFSD_A_RPC_STATUS_SADDR6/DADDR6 netlink attributes. This is reachable by any unprivileged process in the network namespace because NFSD_CMD_RPC_STATUS_GET uses GENL_CMD_CAP_DUMP without GENL_ADMIN_PERM. Fix by widening rq_daddr and rq_saddr to struct sockaddr_storage so the IPv6 casts operate within bounds, copying sizeof(struct sockaddr_storage) bytes in the memcpy calls so the full address is captured, and zero-initializing the genl_rqstp stack variable to prevent leaking uninitialized tail bytes through netlink.

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: SUNRPC: Reject krb5 v2 wrap tokens with oversized ec field gss_krb5_unwrap_v2() sets buf->CVE-2026-89538 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: SUNRPC: Reject krb5 v2 wrap tokens with oversized ec field gss_krb5_unwrap_v2() sets buf->len to a logical length, which can be much smaller than head[0].iov_len (the allocated receive-page capacity). It then calls xdr_buf_trim() with a trim length derived from the 16-bit "extra count" (ec) field in the Kerberos v2 token header. The ec field is authenticated by the post-decrypt memcmp() against the encrypted header copy, so a randomly-mutated value is rejected. However, any peer holding a valid GSS context can legitimately encrypt a token whose ec exceeds the plaintext length. Per RFC 4121, such a token is structurally malformed. Although xdr_buf_trim() now clamps the buf->len subtraction to avoid unsigned underflow, the buffer is still left in a semantically invalid state (zero length, inconsistent iov lengths) when ec is oversized. Reject these tokens before calling xdr_buf_trim(), giving callers a well-defined GSS_S_DEFECTIVE_TOKEN error and keeping the xdr_buf internally consistent. The wrapped blob begins at a nonzero offset -- both callers pass len as offset + opaque_len -- so buf->len still counts t

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/tegra241-cmdqv: Reject a vSID wider than the SID_MATCH field tegra241_vintf_init_vsid() programs the guest-provided vSID into SID_MATCH, whose VIRT_SID field spans bits [20:1] with bit 0 as the match-enable flag. The HW therefore matches only a 20-bit Stream ID. The bound check rejects only virt_sid > UINT_MAX, which admits a value far wider than the field. The write "virt_sid << 1 | 0x1" then drops every bit above 20: a virt_sid of 0x80000000 lands as SID_MATCH = 0x1, a valid match on vSID 0, so the entry aliases the wrong Stream ID. Because vdev->virt_id is guest-controlled, a VMM can trigger it. Validate virt_sid against the field width with FIELD_MAX(), and program the register with FIELD_PREP() so the value and the field stay consistent.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-pcache: validate geometry fields from on-disk cache_info cache_segs_init() iterates cache_info->n_segs times indexing cache->segments[], which is sized to the cache device geometry, and get_seg_id() takes each segment id from the on-media cache_info and the per-segment next_seg link. Both come from cache device metadata that is only CRC-protected with a fixed public seed, so whoever supplies the cache device on a table load (CAP_SYS_ADMIN) controls them: an oversized n_segs or an out-of-range id drives an out-of-bounds access of cache->segments[] and a wild CACHE_DEV_SEGMENT() pointer into the device mapping -- an out-of-bounds read and write from on-disk data. Reject an n_segs that exceeds the device segment count and a segment id that is out of range before either is used. Valid metadata is unaffected.

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-pcache: validate kset key_num and intra-segment bounds Two more fields decoded from theCVE-2026-80961 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-pcache: validate kset key_num and intra-segment bounds Two more fields decoded from the cache device go unbounded. The kset key_num drives cache_kset_crc() and the replay loop in cache_replay(), the writeback worker and the GC worker, but only the magic and a fixed-seed CRC are checked first, so a non-last kset whose key_num exceeds the PCACHE_KSET_KEYS_MAX buffer reads past its end before the CRC compare. A key's intra-segment offset and length in cache_key_decode() are taken verbatim, so a key running past its segment is replayed into the cache tree and the data CRC check and every later read hit then copy adjacent persistent memory into the caller's bio -- an out-of-bounds read that leaks to user space. Both fields are controlled by whoever supplies the cache device (CAP_SYS_ADMIN); the CRC seed is public. Add kset_onmedia_valid() to bound key_num before any kset read, and reject a key whose offset plus length, computed in 64 bits, exceeds the segment data_size. Valid metadata is unaffected.

jackson-databind binds a JSON string to a javax.xml.datatype.Duration or javax.xml.datatype.XMLGregorianCalendar field by passing the raw string verbatim to DatatypeFactory.newDuration(value) or newXMLGregorianCalendar(value) in CoreXMLDeserializers.Std._deserialize. These deserializers are registered by default with no opt-in, so a plain ObjectMapper or JsonMapper with no polymorphic typing and no special configuration reaches this path. The XML Schema lexical grammar permits numeric components of arbitrary length, which the JDK materializes through the native BigInteger(String) and BigDecimal(String) constructors, both quadratic in digit count. Because the digits sit inside a JSON string token rather than a JSON number token, jackson-core's StreamReadConstraints.maxNumberLength guard never applies; jackson's own NumberDeserializers call validateIntegerLength or validateFPLength before parsing a stringified number, but the XML datatype deserializer omits that pre-check. An unauthenticated attacker can therefore submit a single request of a few megabytes, such as a Duration value consisting of the letter P followed by several million digits and the letter Y, and force tens of secon

Video rows include columns joined from the video owner's user record, and API::get_api_video() calls removeSensitiveUserFields() only when the caller is neither authenticated nor using a valid API secret; it never compares User::getId() with the row's users_id. As a result, any low-privilege authenticated account can request another user's video and receive the owner's email address, account name (user), and isAdmin, canUpload and canStream flags, which are removed for guests and should be returned only to the owner or to callers with a valid API secret. An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was discovered in the Bosch BME690 SensorAPI (C-driver) in version v1.0.3 and prior, specifically within the field data parsing logic in read_all_field_data (bme69x.c). The driver prefetches heater configuration registers into a contiguous 30-byte stack buffer (set_val) mapping IDAC, RES_HEAT, and GAS_WAIT tables. When parsing sensor field data, the gas_index is extracted using a 4-bit mask (0..15) but lacks boundary verification against the valid range (0..9). An attacker or a compromised peripheral mimicking a sensor on the I2C/SPI bus could return a payload with a gas index value of 10 or higher. This causes the driver to perform an out-of-bounds array access (set_val[20 + gas_index]), reading up to 6 bytes past the stack buffer. The leaked out-of-bounds byte is then written into the public gas_wait field, which may lead to measurement corruption or leak adjacent stack memory when telemetered or logged.

  • Sep 9, 2026Checkout Custom Fields Builder for WooCommerce: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-19802 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Checkout Custom Fields Builder for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.5. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to install and activate an arbitrary attacker-hosted plugin, resulting in remote code execution on the server.
