Jun 24, 2026Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform.CVE-2026-49278 · Other software · RocketChat · reported by GitHubMedium 6.7
Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform. Prior to 8.5.0, 8.4.2, 8.3.4, 8.2.4, 8.1.5, 8.0.6, 7.13.8, and 7.10.12, in the visitors.info endpoint, https://developer.rocket.chat/apidocs/get-visitor-information-by-id-1, token is returned in the response. It looks like there's no use case for the token to be present in the response and it would be a good security practice to remove it altogether. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.5.0, 8.4.2, 8.3.4, 8.2.4, 8.1.5, 8.0.6, 7.13.8, and 7.10.12.

Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform. Prior to 8.5.0, 8.4.2, 8.3.4, 8.2.4, 8.1.5, 8.0.6, 7.13.8, and 7.10.12, Rocket.Chat does not revoke OAuth bearer or refresh tokens when a user is deactivated. A deactivated user can continue using an existing OAuth access token, and can also mint a fresh access token from an existing refresh token. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.5.0, 8.4.2, 8.3.4, 8.2.4, 8.1.5, 8.0.6, 7.13.8, and 7.10.12.

Jun 24, 2026Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform.CVE-2026-47733 · Other software · RocketChat · reported by GitHubMedium 4.4
Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform. Prior to 8.5.0, the ImageElement component in packages/gazzodown renders user-controlled src values directly into <a href> and <img src> attributes without protocol sanitization. Unlike the analogous LinkSpan component — which uses sanitizeUrl to block javascript:, data:, and vbscript: protocols — ImageElement passes the raw URL through unchanged. An authenticated user can post a markdown image with a javascript: URL that, if clicked on an older browser, would execute arbitrary JavaScript in the viewer's session. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.5.0.

Jun 24, 2026Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform.CVE-2026-46423 · Other software · RocketChat · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3
Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform. Prior to 8.5.0, 8.4.1, 8.3.3, 8.2.3, 8.1.4, 8.0.5, 7.13.7, and 7.10.11, Rocket.Chat's SAML service provider implementation silently skips both SAML Response and Assertion signature validation when the configured IdP certificate field is empty. The verifySignatures routine performs an early return when serviceProviderOptions.cert is falsy, which is the default state of the setting. Because provider registration only gates on the SAML "enabled" toggle and not on the presence of a certificate, an administrator who enables SAML without pasting an IdP certificate obtains a fully wired, publicly reachable SAML login endpoint that accepts unsigned or attacker-supplied assertions. This is a default-configuration authentication-bypass class: the fail-open branch is reached with no misconfiguration beyond leaving a field at its shipped default. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.5.0, 8.4.1, 8.3.3, 8.2.3, 8.1.4, 8.0.5, 7.13.7, and 7.10.11.

Jun 24, 2026Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform.CVE-2026-45757 · Other software · RocketChat · reported by GitHubLow 2.3
Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform. Prior to 8.5.0, 8.4.2, 8.3.4, 8.2.4, 8.1.5, 8.0.6, 7.13.8, and 7.10.12, Rocket.Chat allows users deactivated through users.deactivateIdle to keep using already-issued login tokens. A user that an administrator has marked inactive for idleness can still access authenticated REST endpoints with the old token. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.5.0, 8.4.2, 8.3.4, 8.2.4, 8.1.5, 8.0.6, 7.13.8, and 7.10.12.

Jun 24, 2026Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform.CVE-2026-45689 · Other software · RocketChat · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1
Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform. Prior to 8.5.0, 8.4.1, 8.3.3, 8.2.3, 8.1.4, 8.0.5, 7.13.7, and 7.10.11, an unauthenticated network attacker obtains a valid Rocket.Chat OAuth access token for an arbitrary user by sending a single HTTP POST with MongoDB query operators to /oauth/token. The Rocket.Chat OAuth2 server does not validate that grant parameters are strings before forwarding them to findOne({...}) against the oauth_apps and oauth_access_tokens collections, so an attacker substitutes {"$ne": null} for client_id, client_secret, and refresh_token and receives a freshly minted {access_token, refresh_token} pair bound to whichever user's refresh token Mongo returned first. The resulting access token is a first-class bearer credential against the full /api/v1/* surface as that user. By iterating with $nin / $regex operators the attacker walks the entire oauth_access_tokens collection, collecting one fresh access token per user per request. If any matched token belongs to an admin, the stolen bearer gives full admin API access (including Apps-Engine app installation, i.e. server-side code execution). No account, credentials, userId

Jun 24, 2026Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform.CVE-2026-45688 · Other software · RocketChat · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1
Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform. Prior to 8.5.0, 8.4.1, 8.3.3, 8.2.3, 8.1.4, 8.0.5, 7.13.7, and 7.10.11, Rocket.Chat's CAS login handler forwards the client-supplied options.cas.credentialToken value straight into a MongoDB findOne({_id: ...}) query without any runtime type check. TypeScript's string parameter annotation is erased at runtime, so an unauthenticated attacker can substitute a MongoDB query operator ({"$gt": ""}, {"$ne": null}, etc.) for what the server expects to be an opaque ticket string. The injected operator matches the first unexpired document in the credential_tokens collection, bypassing the CAS ticket check entirely. When any legitimate CAS or SAML SSO login is in flight, the attacker's next DDP login call matches the same credential-token row via the NoSQL operator and is issued a full Meteor auth token (userId + token) bound to the victim. The token is immediately usable against the complete REST and DDP surface as that user. If the victim is an administrator, this escalates to full instance compromise via Apps-Engine app install. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.5.0, 8.4.1, 8.3.3, 8.2.3, 8.1.4, 8.0.5, 7.13.7

Jun 24, 2026Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform.CVE-2026-45687 · Other software · RocketChat · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5
Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform. Prior to 8.5.0, 8.4.1, 8.3.3, 8.2.3, 8.1.4, 8.0.5, 7.13.7, and 7.10.11, Rocket.Chat's sendFileMessage DDP method passes the entire attacker-supplied file object into Uploads.updateFileComplete, which merges it directly into a MongoDB $set update via Object.assign. There is no allow-list of writable fields. An attacker can therefore rewrite any column on their own upload record, notably store and the store-specific path fields. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.5.0, 8.4.1, 8.3.3, 8.2.3, 8.1.4, 8.0.5, 7.13.7, and 7.10.11.

Jun 24, 2026Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform.CVE-2026-45677 · Other software · RocketChat · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform. Prior to 8.5.0, 8.4.1, 8.3.3, 8.2.3, 8.1.4, 8.0.5, 7.13.7, and 7.10.11, Rocket.Chat's SAML integration does not verify the signature on inbound LogoutRequest messages. An unauthenticated remote attacker who knows a target user's SAML NameID - which major identity providers (Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, JumpCloud) expose as the user's email address - can craft a valid-looking unsigned LogoutRequest and submit it to the SP logout endpoint. The server processes it as legitimate, immediately destroying the victim's session. Because the attack requires no authentication and no interaction from the victim, it can be repeated in a loop against individual users or scripted across many accounts, effectively rendering the Rocket.Chat instance unusable for SAML-authenticated users. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.5.0, 8.4.1, 8.3.3, 8.2.3, 8.1.4, 8.0.5, 7.13.7, and 7.10.11.

Jun 24, 2026AnythingLLM is an application that turns pieces of content into context that any LLM can use as references during chatting.CVE-2026-55611 · Other software · Mintplex-Labs · reported by GitHubNone
AnythingLLM is an application that turns pieces of content into context that any LLM can use as references during chatting. From 1.11.1 until 1.14.1, userId/workspaceId scoping to the parsed-files read/delete paths was added. However, the POST /api/workspace/:slug/embed-parsed-file/:fileId flow still deletes the target file by primary key only, with no ownership check, inside two finally{} blocks that run even when the ownership-checked read fails. As a result a manager or admin (multi-user mode) can delete any other user's parsed file in any workspace — including workspaces they are not a member of — by enumerating integer fileIds. The server even returns "File not found" while still deleting the file. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.14.1.

AnythingLLM is an application that turns pieces of content into context that any LLM can use as references during chatting. Prior to 1.13.0, on Windows, the document folder listing route can accept an encoded absolute Windows path that resolves outside the intended documents directory. The shared path containment helper rejects POSIX-style "../" traversal but does not reject Windows-style parent paths returned by path.relative(), such as "..". This vulnerability is fixed in 1.13.0.

Flowise before 3.1.2 contains an information disclosure vulnerability in the /api/v1/chatflows/apikey/:apikey endpoint. When the keyonly query parameter is omitted (the default), the endpoint returns not only the chatflows bound to the supplied API key but also all chatflows across every workspace that have no API key assigned, because the underlying query lacks any workspace filter. An attacker with a valid API key for one workspace can therefore retrieve the full ChatFlow configuration (including flowData with system prompts and node configurations, chatbotConfig, apiConfig, and credential IDs) of unprotected chatflows belonging to other workspaces.

In Eclipse Theia versions prior to 1.71.0, the AI chat agent processed workspace file and directory names as part of its prompt context without distinguishing them from system instructions. An attacker could craft a malicious repository with adversarial directory or file names that, when analyzed by the AI agent, would cause the agent to follow attacker-controlled instructions (indirect prompt injection). Combined with other AI chat features available in untrusted workspaces, this enabled attack chains leading to data exfiltration via Markdown image rendering or arbitrary command execution via task definitions.

In Eclipse Theia versions prior to 1.71.0, the AI chat rendered Markdown image tags from AI responses, triggering HTTP requests to arbitrary external URLs without restriction. Combined with prompt injection in a malicious workspace, an attacker could induce the AI agent to construct image URLs encoding sensitive information from the workspace or conversation context, exfiltrating it to attacker-controlled servers. The workspace trust enforcement introduced in v1.71.0 mitigates the documented attack chain by disabling AI features in untrusted workspaces.

Jun 17, 2026TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool.CVE-2026-48768 · Other software · baptisteArno · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3
TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. In versions 3.16.1 and earlier, POST /api/blocks/file-input/v3/generate-upload-url is unauthenticated and uses unsanitized fileName input to construct public/ S3 object keys, while issuing presigned PUT URLs that do not bind Content-Type. As a result, any anonymous visitor to a published bot with a file input can upload attacker-controlled HTML, SVG, or JS to attacker-chosen subpaths, including other tenants’ publicly served result paths, enabling arbitrary content hosting and potential stored XSS on the storage origin. ../ traversal is blocked by S3/MinIO canonicalization (signature mismatch), but forward-slash path injection is exploitable. This issue has been fixed in version 3.17.0.

Jun 17, 2026TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool.CVE-2026-48764 · Other software · baptisteArno · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. In versions prior to 3.17.2, SSRF validation is implemented by resolving a hostname once and checking whether the resolved IP belongs to a forbidden range allowing for DNS rebinding bypass. The root cause is a time-of-check to time-of-use gap in the SSRF guard. The validator resolves the hostname and approves it, but the later request path performs a fresh resolution and connects to whatever IP the hostname maps to at that moment. The actual outbound request is then performed later using the original hostname, without pinning the validated IP to the network connection. An attacker who can supply a URL to a public bot that performs a server-side HTTP Request block or server-side script fetch can use DNS rebinding to pass the initial validation and still force the server to connect to a private or metadata address during the real request. This enables server-side access to private network services, cloud metadata endpoints, and other internal HTTP targets that the validator was intended to block. The exact downstream impact depends on the reachable internal services. Concrete consequences include metadata disclosure, access to internal admin panels,

Jun 17, 2026TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool.CVE-2026-48759 · Other software · baptisteArno · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. Versions 3.15.2 and below have an Insecure Direct Object Reference vulnerability through cross-workspace Theme Template modification and deletion. The handleSaveThemeTemplate and handleDeleteThemeTemplate handlers validate that the authenticated user is a non-guest member of the provided workspaceId, but then operate on themeTemplateId via Prisma queries that do NOT include workspaceId in the WHERE clause. This allows any authenticated user to modify or delete theme templates belonging to any other workspace and may expose Template IDs via shared typebots or network traffic. This issue has been fixed in version 3.16.0.

Jun 9, 2026Extra Settings for RocketChat: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-8841 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Extra Settings for RocketChat plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'rocketchat' shortcode's 'title' attribute in versions up to, and including, 0.1. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the rxstg_shortcode() function, which concatenates the user-supplied 'title' attribute directly into HTML output. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Jun 6, 2026Click to Chat – WA Widget: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-7795 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Click to Chat – WA Widget plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the [chat] shortcode 'num' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.38. This is due to insufficient escaping when embedding user-supplied shortcode attribute values inside JavaScript string literals that are then placed in HTML event-handler attributes. The CCW_Shortcode::shortcode() function applies esc_attr() to the 'num' parameter (line 157), which converts single quotes to the HTML entity '. This entity-encoded value is then interpolated directly into a JavaScript window.open() call string delimited by single quotes (line 194/221), and that complete string is placed verbatim into an HTML onclick attribute in the style template files (e.g., sc-style-1.php line 6). Because browsers HTML-decode event attribute values before executing the embedded JavaScript, the ' entities are decoded back to literal single quotes at runtime, allowing the injected payload to break out of the JavaScript string context and execute arbitrary code. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages that will exec

Jun 2, 2026LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers.CVE-2026-44654 · Other software · danny-avila · reported by GitHubMedium 5.7
LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. In versions up to and including 0.8.3, a shared-agent editor can delete file records through `DELETE /api/files` that the owner has reused across multiple agents. The deletion removes the file globally — not just from the shared agent — breaking the owner's other private agents that reference the same `file_id`. The private agent retains a stale `file_id` reference that no longer resolves. A shared-agent editor can destroy files that the owner uses across multiple agents. The owner's private agents — which the attacker has no access to — break silently with stale `file_id` references. This is a cross-agent integrity violation: editing access to one agent should not affect another. Version 0.8.4 contains a patch.

Jun 2, 2026LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers.CVE-2026-44653 · Other software · danny-avila · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. In versions up to and including 0.8.3, users with only `VIEW` access to an MCP server can retrieve the server's decrypted admin-managed secrets through `GET /api/mcp/servers` and `GET /api/mcp/servers/:serverName`. The returned config includes plaintext values for `apiKey.key` and `oauth.client_secret`. This allows viewers of a shared MCP server to exfiltrate the underlying provider credentials. Version 0.8..4 contains a patch. Other remediations include: never returning decrypted admin-managed secrets to non-owners; redacting apiKey.key and oauth.client_secret from all API responses consider returning only boolean presence indicators for secrets, similar to the auth-values route pattern; and, if owners need to edit configs without re-entering secrets, preserving secrets server-side and returning placeholders instead of plaintext.

Jun 2, 2026LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers.CVE-2026-32625 · Other software · danny-avila · reported by GitHubCritical 9.6
LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. In versions up to and including 0.8.3, the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server integration resolves ${VAR} placeholders against the server's process.env during Zod schema validation of user-supplied MCP server URLs. Any authenticated user can create a malicious MCP server configuration with a URL pointing to an attacker-controlled domain containing environment variable references, causing the LibreChat server to connect to the attacker's server and transmit critical secrets such as CREDS_KEY, CREDS_IV, JWT_SECRET, and MONGO_URI in the request URL. This enables full compromise of the installation's cryptographic materials and database credentials without requiring administrative privileges. This is patched in version 0.8.4-rc1.

Jun 2, 2026LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers.CVE-2026-31942 · Other software · danny-avila · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. In versions up to and including 0.7.6, an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability exists in the API keys management endpoint (PUT /api/keys). Due to the use of the JavaScript object spread operator after setting the authenticated user's ID, any authenticated user can inject a userId parameter in the request body to overwrite any other user's API keys (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure). This allows an attacker to replace a victim's API key configuration, potentially routing the victim's conversations through attacker-controlled keys or denying service by providing invalid keys. This is patched in version 0.8.3-rc1.

May 28, 2026AnythingLLM is an application that turns pieces of content into context that any LLM can use as references during chatting.CVE-2026-48116 · Other software · Mintplex-Labs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
AnythingLLM is an application that turns pieces of content into context that any LLM can use as references during chatting. Prior to 1.13.0, the filesystem-search-files agent skill passes its LLM-controlled pattern parameter to ripgrep as a positional argument without a -- end-of-options separator. ripgrep parses any argument that starts with - as an option, so a pattern of --pre=/bin/sh turns ripgrep into a script executor: it runs /bin/sh <file> for every file it walks. An attacker who can chat with an agent on a deployment with the filesystem plugin enabled (the default in the official Docker image) can use this, together with the sibling filesystem-write-text-file skill, to run arbitrary commands inside the AnythingLLM server container. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.13.0.

May 28, 2026AnythingLLM is an application that turns pieces of content into context that any LLM can use as references during chatting.CVE-2026-47713 · Other software · Mintplex-Labs · reported by GitHubLow 2
AnythingLLM is an application that turns pieces of content into context that any LLM can use as references during chatting. Prior to 1.13.0, an approved mobile device token created in single-user mode can survive single-user -> multi-user migration even when the device record has userId = null. In multi-user mode, that stale token is still accepted by the mobile authentication middleware. Because no user is attached to the request, downstream mobile handlers fall back to unscoped data-access branches and return workspaces and workspace content without per-user filtering. This permits a pre-migration mobile token to enumerate a workspace assigned only to another user and retrieve victim-owned thread metadata and chat content in multi-user mode. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.13.0.

May 28, 2026AnythingLLM is an application that turns pieces of content into context that any LLM can use as references during chatting.CVE-2026-45403 · Other software · Mintplex-Labs · reported by GitHubLow 2
AnythingLLM is an application that turns pieces of content into context that any LLM can use as references during chatting. Prior to 1.13.0, the AnythingLLM agent filesystem copy tool validates only the top-level source and destination paths. The recursive copy helper then descends into child entries using fs.stat() and copies files with fs.copyFile() without validating each child or rejecting symlinks. Because both APIs follow symlinks, a symlink nested inside an allowed source directory can point outside the allowed filesystem root and cause outside file contents to be copied into an allowed destination as a regular file. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.13.0.
