In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, a user that holds a role with the schedule_search capability could run arbitrary Search Processing Language (SPL) commands with the highest level of system privilege and read every credential stored in the credential store, which can allow for disclosure and modification of all relevant data and affect system integrity and availability. The vulnerability is possible because scheduled search alert action configuration does not properly restrict user-specific alert action settings before the search scheduler runs alert actions. For more information see Create scheduled alerts (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/alert-and-respond/alerting-manual/9.3/create-alerts/create-scheduled-alerts), Set up alert actions (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/alert-and-respond/alerting-manual/9.3/configure-alert-actions/set-up-alert-actions), Define roles on the Splunk platform with capabilities (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/manage-users-and-security/10.4/manage-splunk-platform-users-and-roles/define-roles-on-the-splunk-platform-with-capabilities), and Configuration file precedence

  • Aug 19, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-53549 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. Prior to 2.3.2, the POST /host/db/proxy/test endpoint accepts the singleProxy, proxyChain, and testTarget request fields without validating their destination addresses. The testProxyConnectivity path uses raw TCP and SOCKS connections to attacker-selected hosts and ports, allowing an authenticated user to probe localhost, private networks, link-local metadata services, and other infrastructure reachable from the Termix server. Structured connection errors disclose host reachability and timing information, and successful metadata access can expose cloud credentials. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.2.

  • Aug 19, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-53548 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubCritical 9.6

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. Prior to 2.6.1, the GET /host/db/host/:id/password endpoint in src/backend/database/routes/host.ts accepts an authenticated user's numeric host ID and the field=password or field=sudoPassword query without enforcing host ownership during credential resolution. A failed requester-scoped lookup can resolve the host with the owner's context and return the owner's plaintext credential, allowing any authenticated user with a valid JWT to enumerate sequential hosts.id values and retrieve SSH or sudo passwords belonging to other users. The disclosed credentials can then be used to access and control managed systems outside the Termix instance. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.1.

  • Aug 19, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-53547 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. Prior to 2.3.2, the POST /database/export endpoint creates a user export that includes the global settings table even though the rest of the export is user-scoped. The settings table contains reset_code_ and temp_reset_token_ password-reset artifacts, allowing a low-privileged authenticated user to recover another local account's reset code and complete the normal password-reset flow. Successful exploitation results in local-user account takeover and administrative compromise when the victim is an administrator. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.2.

  • Aug 19, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-53546 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubCritical 9.6

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. Prior to 2.3.2, the terminal WebSocket accepts a user-controlled hostConfig.id and src/backend/ssh/host-resolver.ts resolves that host without requiring ownership or explicit access. When no credential is shared with the requester, resolveHostById performs an owner credential fallback, and src/backend/ssh/terminal.ts combines that credential with attacker-controlled ip, port, and username values. An authenticated low-privileged user can therefore make Termix authenticate to an attacker-controlled SSH server and disclose another user's stored SSH password or private-key material while the victim user's data key is unlocked. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.2.

  • Aug 19, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-53545 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. Prior to 2.3.2, the DELETE /ssh/tunnel/disconnect/:tunnelName teardown path in src/backend/ssh/tunnel.ts interpolates endpointPort, sourcePort, endpointUsername, and endpointIP into single-quoted pkill -f patterns. An authenticated user who can edit a tunnel host field can include a single quote to terminate the pattern and append a shell command, which executes when the tunnel is disconnected. Successful exploitation runs arbitrary commands on the source SSH host with the privileges of the connected SSH account. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.2.

  • Aug 19, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-53542 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. Prior to 2.3.2, the archive creation endpoint in src/backend/ssh/file-manager.ts passes selected file basenames to tar without an end-of-options marker and without making the operands unambiguously relative. A user with access to an SSH file-manager session can select basenames beginning with GNU tar options such as --checkpoint=1 and --checkpoint-action=exec, causing tar, tar.gz, tar.bz2, or tar.xz creation to interpret those names as options. The resulting checkpoint action executes commands on the managed SSH host with the privileges of the connected SSH account, allowing file disclosure, modification, and service disruption. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.2.

Super Productivity is an advanced todo list app with integrated timeboxing and time tracking capabilities. Prior to 18.13.0, the EXEC IPC handler in electron/ipc-handlers/exec.ts accepts a command string from the renderer through the IPC.EXEC channel and executes it with child_process.exec(). The electron/preload.ts bridge exposes window.ea.exec() to renderer code, including community plugins executed with new Function(), without requiring nodeExecution permission. The Manual Image Crop WordPress plugin before 1.15 does not perform any capability check or nonce verification on the authenticated AJAX action that crops attachment images; its only guard passes for any logged-in user. A subscriber-level user can therefore supply an arbitrary attachment ID and overwrite that attachment's generated intermediate-size image (for example its thumbnail) and mutate its stored metadata, regardless of who owns the media. • Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci: validate codec capability element length Read Local Codec Capabilities retCVE-2026-74300 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci: validate codec capability element length Read Local Codec Capabilities returns a sequence of capability elements. Each element starts with a one-byte length followed by that many payload bytes. hci_read_codec_capabilities() checks that the skb contains the length byte, but then validates only caps->len against the remaining skb length. A malformed controller response with one remaining byte and caps->len set to one passes that check even though the element needs two bytes. The parser then records a two-byte capability and copies one byte beyond the advertised response payload into the codec list. Validate the full element size, including the length byte, before adding it to the accumulated capability length. This preserves all well-formed capability elements and drops only truncated controller responses.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fhandle: reject detached mounts in capable_wrt_mount() The recent fhandle RCU fix moved the mount namespace capability check into capable_wrt_mount(), so a non-NULL mnt_namespace survives the ns_capable() dereference. The helper still assumes the later READ_ONCE(mount->mnt_ns) must be non-NULL because may_decode_fh() checked is_mounted() first. That assumption is not stable. A detached mount from open_tree(..., OPEN_TREE_CLONE) can be dissolved on fput while open_by_handle_at() is between those checks, and umount_tree() can clear mount->mnt_ns. If the helper observes NULL, it dereferences mnt_ns->user_ns and panics. Return false when the RCU read observes a detached mount. This keeps the relaxed permission path conservative: a mount no longer attached to a namespace cannot authorize open_by_handle_at() access.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mtd: mchp23k256: use SPI match data for chip caps The driver stores chip capacity information in both the OF match table and the SPI id table. Probe currently uses of_device_get_match_data(), so a non-OF SPI modalias match falls back to mchp23k256_caps even when the SPI id table selected a different part. Use spi_get_device_match_data() so SPI id-table driver_data is consumed when OF match data is absent. This keeps the existing default fallback while avoiding the wrong MTD geometry for id-table-only matches.

  • Aug 10, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: fix auth_chunk_list capacity check in sctp_auth_ep_add_chunkid sctp_auth_ep_add_chunCVE-2026-68320 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.3

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: fix auth_chunk_list capacity check in sctp_auth_ep_add_chunkid sctp_auth_ep_add_chunkid() uses SCTP_NUM_CHUNK_TYPES (20) as the capacity limit for ep->auth_chunk_list, allowing it to hold up to 20 chunk entries (param_hdr.length up to 24). However, the copy destination asoc->c.auth_chunks in struct sctp_cookie is only SCTP_AUTH_MAX_CHUNKS (16) entries (20 bytes). When more than 16 chunks are added, sctp_association_init() memcpy overflows the destination by up to 4 bytes. Fix by using SCTP_AUTH_MAX_CHUNKS as the capacity limit, matching the destination capacity.
