  • Sep 26, 2026Grav before 2.0.25 ships web server configuration samples whose access-control deny rules are matched case-sensitively.CVE-2026-100669 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

Grav before 2.0.25 ships web server configuration samples whose access-control deny rules are matched case-sensitively. In webserver-configs/web.config (IIS), every deny rule (user_sensitive_folders, user_accounts, user_data, user_error_redirect, user_pages, system, vendor, ignore_folders) sets ignoreCase="false" on its URL Rewrite <match> element, overriding the IIS default of ignoreCase="true"; because these are rewrite matches rather than <requestFiltering> elements, there is no case-insensitive fallback. On IIS running over case-insensitive NTFS, an unauthenticated remote attacker can vary the case of a folder name or file extension (for example GET /user/CONFIG/system.YAML) so that no deny rule matches and the IIS static file handler resolves and returns the underlying file, disclosing sensitive data such as configuration secrets or account password hashes. Whether a bypassed file is actually returned depends on MIME registration: .json is served by default, while .yaml/.yml return HTTP 404.3 on a stock IIS unless a YAML MIME mapping has been added. The same class of gap exists in the bundled webserver-configs/lighttpd.conf, whose user/(config|env), directory, script-extension

  • Sep 25, 2026The convert.base64-encode, convert.quoted-printable-encode and convert.quoted-printable-decode stream filters accept a line-break-chars option whose length is tCVE-2026-92842 · Websites & servers · PHP Group · reported by security@php.netMedium 5.9

The convert.base64-encode, convert.quoted-printable-encode and convert.quoted-printable-decode stream filters accept a line-break-chars option whose length is tracked separately from the string itself. The filter constructors duplicate the value with pestrdup(), which stops at the first NUL byte, while keeping the original length. When the filter later emits a line break it copies the recorded length out of the truncated allocation, reading past its end and placing adjacent heap bytes into the filter output.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/amdxdna: reject a command chain that carries no commands A chain whose command_countCVE-2026-98145 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/amdxdna: reject a command chain that carries no commands A chain whose command_count is zero passes the payload length check, because struct_size(payload, data, 0) is just the header. The fill loop then does not run, so offset stays zero and the request is submitted with a zero-length buffer. On firmware without AIE2_NPU_COMMAND that ends at the opcode check, since op is still ERT_INVALID_CMD and aie2_get_chain_msg_op() answers MSG_OP_MAX_OPCODE. aie2_get_npu_chain_msg_op() answers MSG_OP_CHAIN_EXEC_NPU whatever it is given, so there the submission continues to drm_clflush_virt_range(cmd_buf, 0), which reads the byte before the buffer and faults on the vmap guard page. EXEC_CMD is reachable by any process that can open the render node. Reject the request instead.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: mcast: fix RCU list diversion in ip6_mc_del1_src() When removing a source filter whoCVE-2026-98102 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: mcast: fix RCU list diversion in ip6_mc_del1_src() When removing a source filter whose count reaches zero, ip6_mc_del1_src() unlinks psf from pmc->mca_sources. If the filter was previously active, the code moved psf directly into pmc->mca_tomb by updating psf->sf_next. Because pmc->mca_sources is traversed locklessly under RCU (e.g. by ipv6_chk_mcast_addr()), mutating psf->sf_next before a grace period elapses diverts concurrent readers to the tombstone list. Consequently, readers miss remaining active sources in pmc->mca_sources and improperly examine deleted tombstone entries. Fix this by allocating a new tombstone node for pmc->mca_tomb (as done in sf_setstate()) and retiring the original psf via kfree_rcu().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Free histogram the field rejected for a bad modifier Writing a hist trigger whose value or variable carries a modifier that is not allowed there leaks the fields that were built for it. __create_val_field() takes the field from parse_expr() and stores it in hist_data->fields[] only after the modifier checks have run: hist_field = parse_expr(hist_data, file, field_str, flags, var_name, &n_subexprs); ... if (hist_field->flags & HIST_FIELD_FL_VAR) { if (hist_field->flags & (...)) goto err; } else { if (hist_field->flags & (...)) goto err; } hist_data->fields[val_idx] = hist_field; Both checks jump past that store, and the err label returns without freeing anything. The error unwinds to create_hist_data(), which calls destroy_hist_data() -> destroy_hist_fields(), and that reaches a field only by walking fields[]. A field that never got there is unreachable. commit e0213434fe3e ("tracing: Do not let histogram values have some modifiers") set ret to -EINVAL and fell through to the store, which left the field owned by fields[] and freed along with the rest of hist_data. Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in OAuth token issuance in hexpm hexpm allows a user whose organization membership or session has ended to keep reading the organization's private packages and their documentation tarballs via a retained refresh token. generate_refresh_token/4 in lib/hexpm/oauth/jwt.ex signs the refresh token with the same iss, aud and scope claims as the access token, so it carries the same repository:<org> scopes. The CDN service that serves private repositories verifies the signature and time claims and then authorizes from the scope claim, with no database lookup and no way to tell the two token kinds apart. Removing a member or revoking a session therefore takes effect at the CDN only when the 30 day refresh token expires, instead of after the 30 minute access token lifetime. Access is read-only and limited to organizations the account belonged to when the token was granted. This issue affects hex.pm: from 2025-10-10 before 2026-09-22.

Email::Sender::Transport::Sendmail versions before 2.602 for Perl allow arbitrary command execution on Windows sending a message whose envelope address reaches the shell in _sendmail_pipe. On MSWin32 the envelope sender and every recipient go into a single command string, which open() passes to a shell. Every other platform gets the list form, which runs sendmail directly. When the caller supplies no envelope, Email::Sender::Simple takes the recipients from the To and Cc headers and the sender from the From header. Temporal Server compiles a Worker Controller Instance module into its Worker Service, and that module registers a compute provider named subprocess whose function is to launch a worker by running a command on the machine hosting the Worker Service. The program name and the argument vector that provider executes are taken from the compute provider configuration supplied in the caller's request rather than from operator configuration. An authenticated caller holding only a write role in a single namespace can therefore configure a worker deployment version so that the Worker Service executes a command of the caller's choosing on its own host, under the account the server process runs as. Execution is immediate rather than deferred: the configuration handler invokes every provider using the invoke strategy directly after validating the submitted specification, so no scaling decision, task arrival, or unusual request sequence is required. Because the Worker Service process holds the persistence credentials for every namespace in the cluster and the cluster's TLS material, the consequence reaches beyond the caller's namespace to the cluster as a whole. temporalio/sqlparser can panic when Parse, ParseStrictDDL, or ParseNext processes a MySQL version comment whose contents are empty or consist only of one to five decimal digits. ExtractMysqlComment does not check the -1 result returned by strings.IndexFunc before using it as a slice boundary. The resulting Go runtime panic propagates unless the caller recovers it on the parsing goroutine, so applications that parse attacker-controlled SQL can terminate. Temporal Server exposes the affected parser through ListWorkers. When that API is enabled, an authenticated caller with namespace read permission can submit a malformed query that terminates the receiving Matching process. Repeated requests can sustain a denial of service. The issue affects availability only; no confidentiality or integrity impact was identified.

Pod::Text versions before 6.1.1 for Perl allow CPU and memory exhaustion formatting a POD document whose =over nesting drives the margin to the output width. Each =over adds its indent to the margin, which wrap() subtracts from the output width to get the space available for text. When that space reaches zero, the line-splitting substitution matches the empty string, and the loop consumes no input while appending the margin padding on every pass. Formatting an attacker-supplied POD document never returns, and the output grows until memory is exhausted.

Session Fixation vulnerability in team-alembic ash_authentication allows an attacker who can plant a session identifier in a victim's browser to hold an authenticated session once that victim signs in. AshAuthentication.Plug.Helpers.store_in_session/2 writes the authenticated subject into the existing session with Plug.Conn.put_session/3 and never calls Plug.Conn.configure_session(renew: true), so the identifier the visitor arrived with carries into their authenticated session. Every authentication event reaches this one function: the default success/4 injected by AshAuthentication.Phoenix.Controller.__using__/1, the AuthController emitted by mix ash_authentication_phoenix.install, and remember-me auto-login. AshAuthentication.Phoenix.Plug.store_in_session/2 is a defdelegate to it. Logout does not close the window either, because clear_session/2 ends with Plug.Conn.clear_session/1, which clears session contents but leaves the identifier intact, so a planted identifier survives a logout-then-login cycle. Authentication Bypass by Spoofing vulnerability in team-alembic ash_authentication allows an attacker who can plant a remember-me cookie in a victim's browser to replace that victim's authenticated session with one for the attacker's own account. AshAuthentication.Plug.Helpers.sign_in_using_remember_me/3 skips re-authenticating an already-signed-in visitor by checking the session for "<subject_name>_token", but store_in_session/2 writes that key only when require_token_presence_for_authentication? is enabled and otherwise writes the bare subject name. At the default setting the guard therefore reads a key that is never written, its already-signed-in branch is unreachable, and the remember-me sign-in runs on every request through the per-request browser pipeline plug. A planted remember-me cookie is consequently honoured even for a visitor holding a live authenticated session, so whatever the victim enters afterwards lands in data the attacker controls. The read path in authenticate_resource_from_session/4 selects the key correctly, so the guard and the reader disagree about which key holds the session. • Sep 17, 2026OpenSlide is a C library for reading whole slide image files.CVE-2026-54604 · Other software · openslide · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

OpenSlide is a C library for reading whole slide image files. Prior to 4.0.1, a behavior change in libtiff 4.7.1 causes the indirect TIFF tile path in src/openslide-decode-tiff.c and _openslide_tiff_read_tile() to request a full-height destination for a partial bottom tile row, allowing uninitialized heap memory to enter pixel data returned by openslide_read_region(). A crafted but valid slide can trigger the issue in TIFF-based formats other than Hamamatsu NDPI when a network service renders attacker-provided slides. Successful extraction depends on pixel transparency handling and recompression, OpenSlide with libtiff 4.7.0 or earlier is not affected, and official binary builds 4.0.0.10 and 4.0.0.11 are affected. Initializing the DNS stub resolver from an /etc/resolv.conf file, or a LOCALDOMAIN environment variable, whose search list contains a domain of roughly 200 characters or more in the GNU C Library version 2.26 to 2.44 results in an assertion failure which aborts the process. The resolver truncates the search list when copying it into the fixed-size _res.defdname buffer, then asserts that the copy is consistent with the full configuration. The consistency check compared against the wrong size and did not handle a first entry that does not fit, so a correctly truncated list failed the assertion. Any process that resolves names through the library is affected, including long-running processes that reload /etc/resolv.conf on the next query after it changes. Search domains are commonly written to /etc/resolv.conf from data received over DHCP or from a VPN server, so an attacker on the local network may be able to trigger this without privileges on the target system, subject to validation by the network configuration software.

  • Sep 17, 2026Authentication Bypass by Spoofing vulnerability in team-alembic ash_authentication allows an attacker who operates one identity-provider connection of a dynamicCVE-2026-91039 · Other software · team-alembic · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbCritical 9.1

Authentication Bypass by Spoofing vulnerability in team-alembic ash_authentication allows an attacker who operates one identity-provider connection of a dynamic_oidc strategy to be signed in as a local user established through a different connection. The strategy is meant to keep each connection in its own identity namespace by writing every UserIdentity row's strategy field as "<name>/<connection_id>", but that namespacing never takes effect. __connection_id__ is populated only on the ephemeral runtime struct built per request in dynamic_oidc/plug.ex, and DynamicOidc.IdentityChange.change/3 re-fetches the strategy from the compile-time DSL through Info.strategy_for_action, yielding the persisted struct whose __connection_id__ is its defstruct default of nil. OAuth2.identity_strategy_name/1 therefore falls back to the bare strategy name for both the identity write and the reads in oauth2/user_resolver.ex and oauth2/sign_in_preparation.ex. Since the identity resource's unique key is (uid, strategy), one row exists per sub across every connection, and the identity-match branch runs before any email check. Neither strategy handles iss, so nothing else distinguishes the issuers: OpenI

  • Sep 17, 2026Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an attacker who obtains a victim's OAuth2 state value to replay the callbCVE-2026-81637 · Other software · team-alembic · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.3

Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an attacker who obtains a victim's OAuth2 state value to replay the callback and sign that victim into an attacker-controlled account. AshAuthentication.Strategy.OAuth2.Plug.callback/2 clears the stored session_params through a rebinding step inside its with chain, conn <- delete_session(conn, session_key). Elixir evaluates the else block in the scope enclosing the with, so every failure path (the provider returning ?error=access_denied, an invalid code, a token-exchange error, or a registration or sign-in failure) reaches store_authentication_result/2 holding the original connection and the session entry is never removed. The value the module's own comment describes as protection against a CSRF-related attack is therefore consumed only when authentication succeeds, and survives a cancelled or failed attempt until the next request phase or session expiry. This issue affects ash_authentication: from 0.6.0 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvdimm/btt: reject an arena whose nfree is below the lane count The BTT info block's nfree field, the number of reserve free blocks, is read from the medium without validation. btt_freelist_init() and btt_rtt_init() size the per-lane freelist[] and rtt[] arrays by nfree, but the I/O path indexes them by the lane from nd_region_acquire_lane(), which is bounded by nd_region->num_lanes (ND_MAX_LANES), not by nfree. A crafted or foreign arena whose nfree is below the lane count makes freelist[lane]/rtt[lane] run past the allocation: an out-of-bounds write. btt.rst documents the nlanes = min(nfree, num_cpus) invariant, which the code does not currently honor: num_lanes is ND_MAX_LANES regardless of nfree. Reject an arena whose nfree is below num_lanes at discovery, before the per-lane arrays are allocated, enforcing that invariant.
