In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: smartpqi: Fix memory leak in pqi_report_phys_luns() pqi_report_phys_luns() fails to release the rpl_list buffer when encountering an unsupported data format or when the allocation for rpl_16byte_wwid_list fails. These early returns bypass the cleanup logic, leading to memory leaks. Consolidate the error handling by adding an out_free_rpl_list label and use goto statements to ensure rpl_list is consistently freed on failure. Compile tested only. • May 27, 2026@pensar/apex <= 0.0.58 is vulnerable to OS command injection via the smart_enumerate tool.CVE-2026-36044 · Other software · reported by MITREHigh 8.8

@pensar/apex <= 0.0.58 is vulnerable to OS command injection via the smart_enumerate tool. The createSmartEnumerateTool() function in src/core/agent/tools.ts constructs a shell command by concatenating unsanitized values from the extensions array and url parameter into a string passed to Node.js child_process.exec(). Because exec() spawns a shell, shell metacharacters in those values are interpreted by the host shell, resulting in arbitrary OS command execution with the privileges of the running process. NOTE: this is disputed by the Supplier because the report is about intended behavior, as explained in the Security Policy of the pensarai/apex GitHub repo.

  • Apr 1, 2026A vulnerability in the web interface of Cisco Smart Software Manager On-Prem (SSM On-Prem) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to elevate privileges oCVE-2026-20151 · Network & remote access · Cisco · reported by psirt@cisco.comHigh 7.3

A vulnerability in the web interface of Cisco Smart Software Manager On-Prem (SSM On-Prem) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to elevate privileges on an affected system. This vulnerability is due to the improper transmission of sensitive user information. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted message to an affected Cisco SSM On-Prem host and retrieving session credentials from subsequent status messages. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to elevate privileges on the affected system from low to administrative. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid credentials for a user account with at least the role of System User. Note: This vulnerability exposes information only about users who logged in to the Cisco SSM On-Prem host using the web interface and who are currently logged in. SSH sessions are not affected.

OpenSC is an open source smart card tools and middleware. Prior to version 0.27.0, an attacker with physical access to the computer at the time user or administrator uses a token can cause a stack-buffer-overflow WRITE in card-oberthur. The attack requires crafted USB device or smart card that would present the system with specially crafted responses to the APDUs. This issue has been patched in version 0.27.0.

  • Mar 30, 2026OpenSC is an open source smart card tools and middleware.CVE-2025-66038 · Other software · OpenSC · reported by GitHubLow 3.9

OpenSC is an open source smart card tools and middleware. Prior to version 0.27.0, sc_compacttlv_find_tag searches a compact-TLV buffer for a given tag. In compact-TLV, a single byte encodes the tag (high nibble) and value length (low nibble). With a 1-byte buffer {0x0A}, the encoded element claims tag=0 and length=10 but no value bytes follow. Calling sc_compacttlv_find_tag with search tag 0x00 returns a pointer equal to buf+1 and outlen=10 without verifying that the claimed value length fits within the remaining buffer. In cases where the sc_compacttlv_find_tag is provided untrusted data (such as being read from cards/files), attackers may be able to influence it to return out-of-bounds pointers leading to downstream memory corruption when subsequent code tries to dereference the pointer. This issue has been patched in version 0.27.0.

OpenSC is an open source smart card tools and middleware. Prior to version 0.27.0, feeding a crafted input to the fuzz_pkcs15_reader harness causes OpenSC to perform an out-of-bounds heap read in the X.509/SPKI handling path. Specifically, sc_pkcs15_pubkey_from_spki_fields() allocates a zero-length buffer and then reads one byte past the end of that allocation. This issue has been patched in version 0.27.0.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
