msgpack-java through 0.9.12 contains a stack overflow vulnerability in MessageUnpacker.unpackValue() that recursively deserializes arrays and maps without nesting depth limits. Attackers can craft payloads with deeply nested arrays to exhaust the deserializing thread's stack and trigger StackOverflowError, causing per-request deserialization failures.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: bound the peer rkey counts in SMC-Rv2 LLC messages On a link whose device has max_recv_sge == 1 there is no shared v2 receive buffer, and smc_llc_save_add_link_rkeys() takes the v2 extension from 44 bytes past the start of the queue entry's inline message: ext = (struct smc_llc_msg_add_link_v2_ext *)(llc_msg + SMC_WR_TX_SIZE); The entry is a 72-byte allocation and the extension starts at offset 68, so ext->num_rkeys at offset 94 is already past it. • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: carry oversized SMC-Rv2 LLC messages in the queue entry smc_llc_rmt_delete_rkey()CVE-2026-80985 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.2

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: carry oversized SMC-Rv2 LLC messages in the queue entry smc_llc_rmt_delete_rkey() and smc_llc_save_add_link_rkeys() read the part of a v2 message that does not fit into the 44-byte union smc_llc_msg, and both bound themselves by the size of the buffer it landed in, not by what arrived. On a link with a shared v2 receive buffer a 44-byte DELETE_RKEY_V2 declaring 255 rkeys reaches rkey[9..254] in whatever an earlier message left in lgr->wr_rx_buf_v2, and passes each of them to smc_rtoken_delete(). One of those 255 matched a registered rtoken and deleted it. An ADD_LINK on such a link installs up to 255 rtokens from the same bytes. Copy the tail into the queue entry, so its length is the length of the message that arrived, and declare the rkeys that fit inline as a member of the union instead of reaching them through a cast. The same DELETE_RKEY_V2 now processes the 9 rkeys it carries. The copy is limited to the longest tail the two functions can read, so the peer does not pick the size of the entry. The bound the previous patch placed on links without a shared v2 receive buffer is no longer needed.

  • Sep 10, 2026A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Bosch Sensortec BHI385 SensorAPI (C library) within the debug message parser function bhi385_parse_debCVE-2026-42805 · Other software · Bosch Sensortec · reported by psirt@bosch.comHigh 8.4

A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Bosch Sensortec BHI385 SensorAPI (C library) within the debug message parser function bhi385_parse_debug_message (located in bhi385_parse.c). The function parses FIFO events and extracts an 8-bit message length directly from the attacker-controlled event payload (callback_info->data_ptr[0]) without enforcing bounds checks or clamping the value. When copying the payload into a fixed-size stack buffer of 17 bytes (uint8_t debug_msg[17]) via memcpy, providing a length byte greater than 16 causes the function to write past the allocated stack boundary. This memory corruption can be triggered by a malicious or compromised sensor or bus participant, leading to a firmware crash, Denial of Service (DoS), or potentially the execution of arbitrary code via adjacent stack data corruption.

The Contact Form to DB by BestWebSoft – Messages Database Plugin For WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via cntctfrm_contact_dropdown Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected payload executes in the context of an administrator's browser session when they visit the plugin's message manager page at /wp-admin/admin.php?page=cntctfrmtdb_manager, making it possible to compromise administrator-level sessions via a simple unauthenticated contact form submission.

HTML::FormHandler versions before 0.410002 for Perl render some error messages into HTML without escaping. The Table form layout and the Bootstrap 2 and 3 wrappers splice each error string straight into the surrounding markup. Version 0.410000, the fix for CVE-2026-19872, escaped the equivalent values in the other layouts and wrappers, and 0.410002 extended that to these three. Error messages that contain attacker-influenced content such as rejected field values could embed JavaScript in rendered pages.

  • Sep 8, 2026HTML::FormHandler versions before 0.410000 for Perl allow cross-site scripting via a submitted value rendered unescaped in an error message.CVE-2026-19872 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 6.1

HTML::FormHandler versions before 0.410000 for Perl allow cross-site scripting via a submitted value rendered unescaped in an error message. The wrappers and renderers that emit a form's errors interpolate the error string straight into HTML with no escaping. Two of the library's own messages, no_match and not_allowed, splice the submitted value into that string, and a failing type constraint puts the rejected value into the message it builds, which _apply_actions hands to add_error. A field declared with a check regexp, a check list or a type constraint reaches those messages, with no custom validator and no non-default configuration. Errors rendered through an application's own escaping template layer rather than the library's rendering roles are not affected. A request over the network that submits markup to such a field gets it back live inside the error span, running script in the victim's origin. Re-rendering a rejected value later gives the stored variant.

Improper Neutralization of Escape, Meta, or Control Sequences vulnerability in ash-project usage_rules allows a malicious package publisher to inject terminal control sequences into the output of mix usage_rules.search_docs. mix usage_rules.search_docs searches Hex documentation through search.hexdocs.pm, which indexes the documentation of every published package, and prints the matching results (title, package, type, doc reference, and highlighted snippets) to the terminal. The formatter in Mix.Tasks.UsageRules.SearchDocs interpolated those publisher-controlled fields verbatim, neutralizing no terminal control characters; the only transform it applied adds escape sequences rather than removing them. A malicious package can embed ANSI terminal escape sequences (cursor movement, line erase, carriage returns, OSC 52 clipboard writes) in its indexed documentation, so when a developer runs a search that surfaces those docs the sequences reach the terminal unchanged — forging the displayed hexdocs URL or a suggested command, hiding text, or writing to the clipboard. No authentication or privileged position is required; only publishing a package. This issue affects usage_rules: from 0.

  • Sep 4, 2026undici bundles a WebSocket client whose permessage-deflate size-limit cleanup removes all listeners from the internal zlib inflate stream, including its error lCVE-2026-85024 · Other software · undici · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbMedium 5.9

undici bundles a WebSocket client whose permessage-deflate size-limit cleanup removes all listeners from the internal zlib inflate stream, including its error listener, while that stream can still emit. When a remote peer sends a compressed payload that crosses the built-in 128 MiB decompressed-payload limit and then contains a malformed DEFLATE byte, the inflate stream emits a data error with no listener attached, which Node.js treats as a fatal unhandled error and terminates the entire process. Exploitation is remote and unauthenticated, requires no application mistake, and is asymmetric, since roughly 130 KB on the wire expands past the limit and crashes the process, and reconnecting can repeat the crash. This affects undici versions from 6.25.0 up to 6.28.1, from 7.28.0 up to 7.29.1, and from 8.1.0 up to 8.10.2. Users should upgrade to undici 6.28.1, 7.29.1, or 8.10.2.

  • Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme-tcp: fix usage of page_frag_cache nvme uses page_frag_cache to preallocate PDU for eaCVE-2026-80862 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme-tcp: fix usage of page_frag_cache nvme uses page_frag_cache to preallocate PDU for each preallocated request of block device. Block devices are created in parallel threads, consequently page_frag_cache is used in not thread-safe manner. That leads to incorrect refcounting of backstore pages and premature free. That can be catched by !sendpage_ok inside network stack: WARNING: CPU: 7 PID: 467 at ../net/core/skbuff.c:6931 skb_splice_from_iter+0xfa/0x310. tcp_sendmsg_locked+0x782/0xce0 tcp_sendmsg+0x27/0x40 sock_sendmsg+0x8b/0xa0 nvme_tcp_try_send_cmd_pdu+0x149/0x2a0 Then random panic may occur. Fix that by serializing the usage of page_frag_cache.

  • Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: core: fix OOB read of field->usage in hid_set_field() hid_set_field() hands field->usCVE-2026-80781 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: core: fix OOB read of field->usage in hid_set_field() hid_set_field() hands field->usage + offset to hid_dump_input() before the guard that bounds offset: hid_dump_input(field->report->device, field->usage + offset, value); if (offset >= field->report_count) { hid_err(...); return -1; } Under CONFIG_DEBUG_FS hid_dump_input() dereferences that pointer, with buf = hid_resolv_usage(usage->hid, NULL). The usage[] array is allocated inline with the hid_field in hid_register_field() and holds field->maxusage entries, so an offset past it reads off the end of the kvzalloc()ed allocation and into a neighbouring object. Had the guard run first, offset < report_count <= maxusage would already have confined the pointer to the array. A caller supplies such an offset today. picolcd_fb_send_tile() validates only report->maxfield before issuing hid_set_field(report->field[0], 11 + i, ...) for i = 0..31, so its offsets are fixed at 11..42 and are never checked against the bound field. When the device registers that field with fewer usages, the framebuffer deferred-io work drives the read on every tile. KASAN

  • Sep 4, 2026Blinko 1.8.7 contains an authorization bypass (IDOR) vulnerability in multiple tRPC procedures (message.list, message.update, message.delete, message.clearAfterCVE-2026-85607 · Other software · blinkospace · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

Blinko 1.8.7 contains an authorization bypass (IDOR) vulnerability in multiple tRPC procedures (message.list, message.update, message.delete, message.clearAfter in server/routerTrpc/message.ts and conversation.clearMessages in server/routerTrpc/conversation.ts). Although these procedures require authentication, they query the database by caller-supplied conversation or message ID without verifying that the resource belongs to the requesting account. Any authenticated user can therefore read another user's full AI chat history, modify individual message content, and delete or wipe entire conversations by enumerating sequential integer IDs.

  • Sep 4, 2026An integer overflow was found in Corosync's handling of membership commit token messages.CVE-2026-81666 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.5

An integer overflow was found in Corosync's handling of membership commit token messages. The length-validation check for these messages can be bypassed on 32-bit systems due to an integer overflow in the calculation of the expected message length, allowing a crafted network packet to trigger an out-of-bounds memory access that crashes the Corosync daemon. This results in a denial of service for the affected cluster node. The overflow does not occur on 64-bit systems, where the length calculation is correctly performed in 64-bit arithmetic.

  • Sep 4, 2026A heap-based buffer overflow was found in Corosync's Totem Process Group (totempg) message reassembly.CVE-2026-81665 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.5

A heap-based buffer overflow was found in Corosync's Totem Process Group (totempg) message reassembly. When processing fragmented multicast messages, the buffer used to reassemble fragments lacks a runtime bounds check in release builds. A network-adjacent attacker able to send crafted multicast protocol messages to the cluster could cause a heap buffer overflow with attacker-controlled data. This can crash the Corosync daemon, causing a denial of service to the entire cluster, and may potentially allow further exploitation given sufficient heap-corruption control.
