  • Jul 2, 2026Database for Contact Form 7, WPforms, Elementor forms: Arbitrary File CopyCVE-2026-9145 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Database for Contact Form 7, WPforms, Elementor forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Copy via the create_entry_el() function in versions up to, and including, 1.5.1. The function reads raw_value from Elementor Pro's Form_Record object for upload-type fields and passes it directly to PHP's copy() without validating that the value corresponds to a legitimately uploaded file — when no file is present in $_FILES, raw_value reflects the attacker-controlled POST string. copy() accepts both local filesystem paths and URL sources, so the attacker can target any file readable by the PHP process or supply an attacker-controlled remote URL. Elementor Pro is a prerequisite for triggering the code path (it owns the elementor_pro/forms/new_record hook and populates the Form_Record object), but the bug itself is entirely in Contact Form Entries' handler. This could allow unauthenticated attackers to disclose arbitrary files on the affected site's server. The file is copied to a directory unknown to the attacker; the hashed directory name provides defense-in-depth but is generated from non-cryptographic sources (uniqid() + rand()) and should not be relied upon as the prim

  • Jul 2, 2026Ninja Forms - File Uploads: Arbitrary File ReadCVE-2026-13369 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Ninja Forms - File Uploads plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read via the attach_files() function in versions up to, and including, 3.3.29. This is due to the get_files_for_attachment() function accepting a raw attacker-controlled 'files' array when the process() method returns early due to a client-supplied saveProgress flag, bypassing all upload validation, path normalization, and database record creation steps, and allowing an attacker-supplied file_path value to reach wp_mail() as an email attachment with only a file_exists() check. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files on the affected site's server.

  • Jul 1, 2026NEX-Forms – Ultimate Forms Plugin for: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-12142 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The NEX-Forms – Ultimate Forms Plugin for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via '_name[]' Array Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 9.2.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. • Jul 1, 2026RegistrationMagic – User Registration Forms: Cross-Site Request ForgeryCVE-2026-12158 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The RegistrationMagic – User Registration Forms Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 6.0.9.1. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the process_request function. • Jul 1, 2026WPForms – Easy Form Builder for WordPress – Contact Forms, Payment Forms, Surveys, & More: Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection')CVE-2026-12127 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The WPForms – Easy Form Builder for WordPress – Contact Forms, Payment Forms, Surveys, & More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection') in all versions up to, and including, 1.10.2 This is due to `get_reply_to_address()` processing the Reply-To display name through smart-tag expansion with context `'notification'` instead of `'notification-reply-to'`, which bypasses email-address validation while `wpforms_sanitize_textarea_field()` intentionally preserves CR/LF characters that are never stripped before the display name is concatenated into the raw `Reply-To:` mail header string. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary additional email headers — such as `Bcc:` — into outgoing notification emails, silently blind-copying all notification email copies to an attacker-controlled address. Exploitation requires that a form notification is configured to use a Paragraph Text (textarea) field as the Reply-To display name via a Smart Tag.

  • Jun 30, 2026Kali Forms — Contact Form & Drag-and-Drop Builder: Does not sanitise a form field's caption before outputting itCVE-2026-11581 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 5.9

The Kali Forms — Contact Form & Drag-and-Drop Builder WordPress plugin before 2.4.13 does not sanitise a form field's caption before outputting it as a column header on the administrator form-entries screen, allowing users with Contributor-level access or above to store JavaScript that executes in an administrator's session. • Jun 27, 2026RegistrationMagic – Custom Registration Forms, User Registration, Payment, and User Login: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-9242 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The RegistrationMagic – Custom Registration Forms, User Registration, Payment, and User Login plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass via Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity in all versions up to and including 6.0.8.6. This is due to the PayPal IPN `callback` handler being registered as a nopriv AJAX action with no authentication or nonce requirement, and critically because the handler updates the payment log database row with attacker-controlled POST data — including `payment_status` and the `custom` field encoding the target `user_id` — before PayPal IPN validation is performed, meaning the database remains poisoned even when validation subsequently fails. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to authenticate as any WordPress user, including administrators, by submitting a forged IPN request that overwrites a payment log entry's `user_id` with that of a target account, then visiting the success return URL with a legitimately obtained security hash to cause the plugin to issue real WordPress authentication cookies for the targeted account.

  • Jun 24, 2026WP Forms Connector: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-9179 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The WP Forms Connector plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'order' parameter of the /wp-json/wp/v3/post/list REST endpoint in versions up to and including 1.8. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied 'order' parameter (read directly from $_GET['order'] into $shorting) and the lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query in the listPost() function, where the value is concatenated unquoted into the ORDER BY clause and executed via $wpdb->get_results() without $wpdb->prepare(). The endpoint is registered with permission_callback '__return_true' and performs only a broken header-based check that validates the supplied 'Username' corresponds to an administrator account while never verifying the 'Password'. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

  • Jun 24, 2026WP Forms Connector: Information ExposureCVE-2026-9178 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The WP Forms Connector plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.8. The plugin registers the REST route wp/v3/user/list/<id> (callback userDetail()) with permission_callback set to '__return_true', and the function's home-grown authentication only verifies that the supplied 'Username' HTTP header maps to an administrator account and that a 'Password' HTTP header is non-empty. It never validates the password with wp_check_password() (unlike the sibling delete_wc_user() function which does). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to retrieve sensitive information for any registered user ID — including the WordPress password hash (user_pass) and email address — by sending a request with a valid administrator login name (commonly the default 'admin') and any arbitrary password value.

The Database for Contact Form 7, WPforms, Elementor forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the view_page function in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.1. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). Successful exploitation requires an administrator to view or edit the poisoned form entry, at which point PHP's bracket parser reshapes the attacker-crafted JSON key to bypass the stored-path isset check and trigger deletion of the traversal-specified file.

  • Jun 6, 2026WPForms – Easy Form Builder for WordPress – Contact Forms, Payment Forms, Surveys, & More: Insufficient Verification of Data AuthenticityCVE-2026-7792 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The WPForms – Easy Form Builder for WordPress – Contact Forms, Payment Forms, Surveys, & More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity in versions up to and including 1.10.0.1. This is due to the PayPal Commerce webhook endpoint processing unauthenticated JSON webhook payloads without verifying that the request originated from PayPal using the required HMAC-SHA256 webhook signature, and only checking whether the supplied event_type is whitelisted before dispatching the attacker-controlled resource data to handlers that update payment records. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers who know a valid PayPal subscription_id to forge PayPal webhook events and modify subscription payment records, such as reactivating a cancelled or suspended subscription by setting its subscription_status to active.

The Vedrixa Forms – User Registration Form, Signup Form & Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.1.
