Jul 10, 2026Gotenberg is a Docker-powered stateless API for PDF files.CVE-2026-55229 · Other software · gotenberg · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Gotenberg is a Docker-powered stateless API for PDF files. Prior to 8.34.0, Gotenberg's /forms/libreoffice/convert endpoint allows a specially crafted document to cause LibreOffice to automatically retrieve external HTTP(S) resources and local file resources during document conversion, enabling blind SSRF and limited local file disclosure via linked image resource loading. This issue is fixed in version 8.34.0.

Jul 10, 2026phpMyFAQ before 4.1.5 contains a potential authenticated path traversal vulnerability in the concatenatePaths() function within src/phpMyFAQ/Export/Pdf/Wrapper.CVE-2026-57961 · Websites & servers · phpMyFAQ · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.1
phpMyFAQ before 4.1.5 contains a potential authenticated path traversal vulnerability in the concatenatePaths() function within src/phpMyFAQ/Export/Pdf/Wrapper.php. A user with FAQ editing privileges can store HTML containing crafted image paths that are processed during PDF generation. The path resolution logic locates the substring "content" within a user-controlled path using strpos(); when "content" is absent, strpos() returns false, which becomes 0 when cast to an integer, preserving the entire attacker-controlled path. This path is later passed to file_get_contents() without canonicalization or root-directory containment validation, which may allow reading of files outside the intended content directory.

Jul 5, 2026AIL Framework contains a path traversal vulnerability in its PDF object handling.CVE-2026-59510 · Other software · ail-project · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.1
AIL Framework contains a path traversal vulnerability in its PDF object handling. Prior to commit 14c618fce4d1df02358717c48ea903706abecdf2, the PDF.get_filepath() function constructed a file path by joining the configured PDF storage directory with a path derived from a PDF object identifier, without verifying that the resolved path remained within the intended PDF_FOLDER directory. An authenticated attacker able to invoke PDF object operations with a crafted identifier could use relative traversal sequences or absolute path components to cause AIL Framework to open files located outside the PDF storage directory. This could allow disclosure of files readable by the AIL process, including application configuration, credentials, or other sensitive local data. This vulnerability is potential due to additional errors before being able to be executed. The fix canonicalises the resulting path with os.path.realpath() and rejects paths whose common directory is outside the configured PDF directory.

Jul 1, 2026MCO is vulnerable to an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability in the /customer/servlet/mco/webapi/trading-document/fetchPdfStatement endpoint.CVE-2026-53903 · Other software · MyComplianceOffice · reported by cvd@cert.plMedium 5.3
MCO is vulnerable to an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability in the /customer/servlet/mco/webapi/trading-document/fetchPdfStatement endpoint. The application does not properly validate whether an authenticated user is authorized to access a requested document, allowing direct retrieval based on a user-supplied identifier. An attacker can access trading documents belonging to other users by providing a valid document ID. Although exploitation requires guessing the identifier, predictable ID patterns enable feasible enumeration, leading to unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information. Because vendor contact attempts were unsuccessful, the vulnerability has only been confirmed in version 25.3.3.1 but may also affect other versions.

This requires parsing a content stream without a /Length value. This issue has been fixed in version 6.13.3.

Jun 25, 2026Server-Side Request Forgery in the markdown_to_pdf action of Rapid7 InsightConnect Markdown Plugin on Linux in versions prior to 4.0.2 allows remote attackers tCVE-2026-8661 · Other software · Rapid7 · reported by cve@rapid7.comMedium 4.8
Server-Side Request Forgery in the markdown_to_pdf action of Rapid7 InsightConnect Markdown Plugin on Linux in versions prior to 4.0.2 allows remote attackers to make arbitrary outbound HTTP requests via unsanitized resource-loading HTML elements (img/src, CSS url(), @import) embedded in Markdown input. The initial fix in 4.0.0 disabled JavaScript but did not neutralize resource-loading vectors. Resolved in 4.0.2 by sanitizing HTML with an allowlist of tags, attributes, and URL schemes.

Jun 25, 2026Content injected to PDF rendering contexts could, in many places, include HTML content including <img> tags.CVE-2026-57535 · Other software · pretix · reported by 655498c3-6ec5-4f0b-aea6-853b334d05a6Low 2.1
Content injected to PDF rendering contexts could, in many places, include HTML content including <img> tags. If the src attribute of these images pointed to an URL, the PDF rendering engine would download the image from that place and display it, thereby leaking information about the rendering server and possibly creating an SSRF vector in the local network.

Jun 25, 2026Malicious HTML content contained in the layout specification of a PDF ticket or badge layout was executed when the PDF editor is opened in the browser.CVE-2026-57532 · Other software · pretix · reported by 655498c3-6ec5-4f0b-aea6-853b334d05a6High 8.8
Malicious HTML content contained in the layout specification of a PDF ticket or badge layout was executed when the PDF editor is opened in the browser. This could allow one backend user to inject JavaScript into the browser context of another backend user. Due to requirements of the PDF rendering and editing libraries used, this is one of the few pages in our backend that do not have a strong Content-Security-Policy that would render this capability useless for most scenarios.

Jun 24, 2026Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CWE-918) in the PDF generation endpoint GET /api/reports/{id}/pdf (backend/main.py) in ccyl13 Pentestify 1.0.0 and lower allCVE-2026-13150 · Other software · Pentestify · reported by 4daa8cea-433a-44bd-9456-53b127fc289aMedium 6.9
Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CWE-918) in the PDF generation endpoint GET /api/reports/{id}/pdf (backend/main.py) in ccyl13 Pentestify 1.0.0 and lower allows remote attackers to make the server issue requests to arbitrary internal or external URLs, including cloud metadata services, and return the rendered content in the resulting PDF via a crafted Host header, because the target URL is built from request.base_url without validation.

Jun 23, 2026MuPDF before 1.27.0-rc1 contains an uncontrolled recursion vulnerability in the EPUB CSS rendering engine that allows remote attackers to cause a denial of servCVE-2025-71382 · Other software · ArtifexSoftware · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
MuPDF before 1.27.0-rc1 contains an uncontrolled recursion vulnerability in the EPUB CSS rendering engine that allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by supplying a maliciously crafted EPUB file with deeply nested HTML elements and inline CSS styles. The function value_from_inheritable_property() in css-apply.c recurses through the CSS property inheritance chain without a depth limit, exhausting the process stack and causing a crash in any application using MuPDF for EPUB rendering.

Jun 23, 2026Crawl4AI before 0.8.8 contains an arbitrary file write vulnerability in the screenshot and PDF endpoints that allows unauthenticated attackers to write files ouCVE-2026-56258 · Other software · Crawl4AI · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2
Crawl4AI before 0.8.8 contains an arbitrary file write vulnerability in the screenshot and PDF endpoints that allows unauthenticated attackers to write files outside the intended directory via symlink and time-of-check-time-of-use (TOCTOU) attacks on the output_path parameter. Remote attackers can exploit insufficient path validation and symlink following to achieve arbitrary file write and potential code execution on systems where the runtime user has write access to executable or cron locations.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
