The AI Chatbot & Workflow Automation by AIWU plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.12. This is due to missing capability checks and nonce verification on AJAX actions registered under both wp_ajax_ and wp_ajax_nopriv_ hooks, as the base controller's getPermissions() returns an empty array and neither removeGroup nor clear are added to getNoncedMethods(), causing the authorization gate to unconditionally return true for these actions. • Jul 10, 2026BetterDocs – AI Documentation, Knowledge Base, Docs, Wikis, FAQ with Chatbot: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-15104 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The BetterDocs – AI Documentation, Knowledge Base, Docs, Wikis, FAQ with Chatbot plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'lang' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.6.0 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Exploitation requires a supported multilingual plugin (WPML, Polylang, qTranslate, Weglot, or TranslatePress) to be active on the site, as the vulnerable code path is gated by Helper::is_multilingual_active().

  • Jul 9, 2026ChatterBot is a machine learning, conversational dialog engine for creating chat bots.CVE-2026-58198 · Other software · gunthercox · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5

ChatterBot is a machine learning, conversational dialog engine for creating chat bots. Prior to 1.2.14, UbuntuCorpusTrainer.extract() uses a predictable home-rooted output directory (~/ubuntu_data/ubuntu_dialogs) with a check-then-create pattern followed by tar.extractall(path=self.data_path), allowing a local attacker who pre-plants a symlink at the predictable path to cause archive contents to be written through the symlink to an attacker-chosen directory. A weakness has been identified in zhayujie chatgpt-on-wechat CowAgent 2.1.0. This issue affects the function verify_server of the file channel/wechatmp/common.py of the component wx Endpoint. This manipulation of the argument wechatmp_token causes missing authentication. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 2.1.1 is capable of addressing this issue. Patch name: 3d7c68bac6ee74fad63f43cf99e45c62e202ed55. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. The project confirms: "We've added an explicit non-empty check for wechatmp_token in verify_server() so that the /wx endpoint now fails closed with 403 Forbidden whenever the token is missing or left at the default empty value, instead of relying on a signature check that silently degenerates to a predictable hash."

The weDocs: AI Powered Knowledge Base, Docs, Documentation, Wiki & AI Chatbot plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to and including 2.3.0. This is due to a missing capability check on the do_migration() function registered as the wedocs_migrate_betterdocs_to_wedocs AJAX action, which performs no nonce verification via check_ajax_referer() and no capability check via current_user_can() before executing sensitive operations. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to trigger a full BetterDocs-to-weDocs data migration, creating and modifying 'docs' custom post type entries with attacker-controlled titles, updating site options, and deactivating the BetterDocs and BetterDocs Pro plugins via deactivate_plugins().

LobeChat through 2.2.9 server-database deployments are vulnerable to broken object-level authorization in MessageModel. The updateMessagePlugin, updatePluginState, updatePluginError, updateTTS and updateTranslate methods filter target rows by message id alone, omitting the userId scope that sibling methods apply, and findMessagePlugin reads back by id alone. Reachable via the corresponding tRPC message procedures, an authenticated user who knows another user's message identifier can overwrite that victim's plugin tool-call metadata, plugin state/error, text-to-speech and translation records on the same instance, and the tampered content is served back to the victim. OpenBMB ChatDev through 2.2.0, fixed in commit 4fd4da6, contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to write or delete arbitrary files by supplying a malicious multipart filename in the file upload endpoint. Attackers can send a crafted filename containing path traversal sequences or an absolute path to the POST uploads session endpoint, which constructs the destination path without sanitization in save_upload_file, causing file write and cleanup operations to target attacker-chosen paths on the server filesystem.

Flowise before 3.0.6 contains an arbitrary file access vulnerability due to missing validation that the chatflowId and chatId parameters are UUIDs or numbers in file handling operations. By supplying a path-traversal value (e.g., '../../../../../tmp') as the chatflow id, an unauthenticated attacker can use the /api/v1/chatflows endpoint (via addBase64FilesToStorage) to write arbitrary files, and the /api/v1/get-upload-file and /api/v1/openai-assistants-file/download endpoints (via streamStorageFile) to read arbitrary files. Flowise before 3.0.6 contains an arbitrary file read vulnerability in the chatId parameter of the /api/v1/get-upload-file and /api/v1/openai-assistants-file/download endpoints. The chatId value is not validated and is passed to streamStorageFile(), where a fallback file-lookup path constructed without the orgId is evaluated after the storage-directory containment check, allowing path traversal beyond the intended storage directory. Unauthenticated attackers can read sensitive files such as /root/.flowise/database.sqlite, exposing all database content in the default configuration.

LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the POST /api/auth/2fa/backup/regenerate endpoint regenerates all 2FA backup codes without requiring any TOTP token or existing backup code verification. An attacker with a stolen session token can silently replace a victim's backup codes and use them to bypass 2FA login or disable 2FA entirely. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1.

LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the fix for CVE-2025-7105 added forkIpLimiter and forkUserLimiter rate limiters to POST /api/convos/fork to prevent rapid-fire conversation duplication. However, the POST /api/convos/duplicate endpoint — which is in the same file and performs the exact same expensive database operations — was not given any rate limiter. An authenticated user can bypass the CVE-2025-7105 fix by using /duplicate instead of /fork to exhaust server resources. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1.

LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the DELETE /api/messages/:conversationId/:messageId endpoint allows any authenticated user to delete any other user's messages. The validateMessageReq middleware only validates that the conversationId belongs to the requesting user, but the handler calls deleteMessages({ messageId }) using only the messageId as the MongoDB filter — without adding a user constraint. An attacker provides their own valid conversationId (to pass validation) and the victim's messageId (to target deletion), resulting in permanent, irrecoverable message deletion. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1.

LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the POST /api/files/images endpoint allows any authenticated user to upload files into any agent's tool_resources (e.g., context, execute_code) without verifying ownership or EDIT permission on the target agent. A permission check was added to the POST /api/files route in a previous patch, but the image upload route was never updated with the same check. • Jun 25, 2026LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers.CVE-2026-54025 · Other software · danny-avila · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, there is a vulnerability in LibreChat's markdown artifact preview pipeline. The marked library v15.0.12 does not HTML-escape double-quote characters in image alt text when a custom renderer falls through to the default renderer. LibreChat's generateMarkdownHtml function (in client/src/utils/markdown.ts) installs a custom image renderer that returns false for URLs passing the isSafeUrl allowlist check, which causes marked to fall back to its built-in renderer. That built-in renderer inserts the raw alt text into the alt="..." attribute without escaping double-quote characters. An attacker can craft an alt text such as " onload="payload to break out of the attribute and inject an arbitrary event handler. The resulting HTML is then assigned to document.getElementById('content').innerHTML inside the Sandpack preview iframe, causing the payload to execute in the victim's browser. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1.

  • Jun 25, 2026LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers.CVE-2026-54024 · Other software · danny-avila · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the fix for CVE-2024-11171 (commit bb58a2d0) added limits: { fileSize } to createMulterInstance() in the file upload routes. However, the POST /api/convos/import endpoint uses a separate multer instance that was never updated with the same limits configuration. Combined with the application-level size check being disabled by default (the CONVERSATION_IMPORT_MAX_FILE_SIZE_BYTES env var is commented out in .env.example), an authenticated user can upload arbitrarily large files to exhaust server disk space and memory. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1.

LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the GET /api/auth/2fa/enable endpoint can be called by an authenticated user (or attacker with a stolen session) even when 2FA is already fully enabled on the account. This endpoint overwrites the existing TOTP secret, generates new backup codes, and sets twoFactorEnabled to false — all without requiring any TOTP or backup code verification. An attacker with a valid session token can completely take over a victim's 2FA, locking the legitimate user out of their own two-factor authentication. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1.

Rocket.Chat is an open-source, secure, fully customizable communications platform. Prior to 8.5.1, 8.4.4, 8.3.6, 8.2.6, 8.1.6, 8.0.7, and 7.10.13, the POST /api/v1/fingerprint REST endpoint enforces authentication (authRequired: true) but performs no authorization check. Any authenticated user — including a standard user role account — can call this endpoint with {"setDeploymentAs": "new-workspace"} to permanently deregister the workspace from Rocket.Chat Cloud. This wipes all cloud credentials, removes the workspace license, breaks push notifications for all users, and requires manual re-registration to recover.
