Oct 19, 2026Pillow is a Python imaging library.CVE-2026-112404 · Other software · python-pillow · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 8.1.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow's TIFF tile and RGBA decode paths can read beyond row data produced by libtiff. In _decodeTile and the RGBA unpacker path, when Pillow and libtiff interpret duplicated PhotometricInterpretation or BitsPerSample tags differently, Pillow does not verify that the required input row fits inside the row libtiff produced, while the strip path has this validation. Loading pixels from such a crafted TIFF can expose adjacent heap data in output pixels or crash the process. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.

Oct 19, 2026Pillow is a Python imaging library.CVE-2026-112403 · Other software · python-pillow · reported by GitHubCritical 9.2
Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 13.0.0, Pillow's JPEG decoder can write a full-width scanline into a buffer sized for a requested draft scale. ImagingJpegDecode does not verify libjpeg's actual output width and component count after scaling is requested, and an 8-bit lossless SOF3 JPEG decoded by a build linked to libjpeg-turbo 3.x can ignore the requested downscaling geometry. An attacker can supply such a JPEG to an application that uses draft() or thumbnail() to request downscaling. This can corrupt heap memory, crash the process, or potentially allow code execution. Older libjpeg-turbo 2.x and IJG builds reject the SOF3 input. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.

Oct 19, 2026Pillow is a Python imaging library.CVE-2026-112402 · Other software · python-pillow · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 13.0.0, Pillow can double free image memory when ImagingScaleAffine encounters a selective allocation failure. The affected fast path handles Transform.EXTENT or pure scale-and-translate Transform.AFFINE operations with the default NEAREST resampling. The output image allocation must succeed while the additional per-column lookup allocation fails, after which the error path deletes image storage that later cleanup releases again. An attacker who can drive such a large Image.transform() operation under memory pressure may trigger the failure. This can crash the process and may corrupt memory. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.

Oct 19, 2026Pillow is a Python imaging library.CVE-2026-112401 · Other software · python-pillow · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 5.4.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow performs quadratic copying while parsing GIF comments. GifImageFile._seek() repeatedly appends immutable bytes for comment sub-blocks and multiple comment extensions, and frame zero is parsed during Image.open(). An attacker can submit a small-dimension GIF containing many comment extensions to any application that opens the file. This can consume excessive CPU and deny service before the application can inspect the image. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.

Oct 19, 2026Pillow is a Python imaging library.CVE-2026-112400 · Other software · python-pillow · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 9.2.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow can retain a rejected GIF frame size after a decompression-bomb exception. In GifImageFile._seek, a crafted GIF can leave rejected dimensions stored after Image.DecompressionBombError; if an application catches that exception and continues processing the same image object, later seek or load operations allocate according to those dimensions and can exhaust memory, denying service. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.

Oct 19, 2026Pillow is a Python imaging library.CVE-2026-112399 · Other software · python-pillow · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 8.1.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow can allocate an APNG disposal background at the full canvas size before applying the decompression-bomb check. A crafted APNG with a small first frame, a very large declared canvas, and background disposal or first-frame OP_PREVIOUS reaches PngImageFile._seek while Image.open() positions frame zero. The full-canvas allocation occurs inside Image.open() without requiring pixel loading or frame iteration. This can exhaust memory and deny service. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.

Oct 19, 2026Pillow is a Python imaging library.CVE-2026-112398 · Other software · python-pillow · reported by GitHubCritical 9.2
Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 13.0.0, Pillow's FlashPix JPEG-tile decoder can write decoded scanlines beyond the allocated tile buffer. FlashPix (FPX) JPEG decoding selects raw mode LA with two bytes per pixel, while an unrecognized JPEG mode can be decoded as JCS_UNKNOWN with four components, causing ImagingJpegDecode to write four-component scanlines into the two-byte tile buffer. An attacker can supply a crafted OLE2 FlashPix file to an application with the optional olefile dependency installed that opens or thumbnails untrusted input. This can corrupt heap memory and may allow arbitrary code execution. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.

Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 13.0.0, Pillow's ImageMorph.MorphOp.apply() can access memory before a row buffer for a zero-width image. PPM and PGM input can create an image with width zero, and the native morphology routine indexes outrow[width - 1] without rejecting that geometry. An attacker can supply such an image to an application that applies a morphology operation. This can crash the process. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.

Oct 19, 2026Pillow is a Python imaging library.CVE-2026-112396 · Other software · python-pillow · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 11.3.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow has a heap use-after-free when libtiff rejects a tag while encoding TIFF data to an in-memory buffer. When an application saves attacker-influenced TIFF tags to BytesIO, libtiff can reject a tag during encoding in ImagingLibTiffEncode; the error path then frees the output buffer without closing or clearing the TIFF handle, and later cleanup flushes through the write callback into freed memory, which can crash the process and may enable code execution. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.

Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 13.0.0, Pillow's rank-based filters can dereference invalid image storage for a zero-size image. ImagingExpand() allocates a non-empty output and then faults while replicating edges by reading the first pixel from empty input storage; ImagingRankFilter is never reached. An attacker can supply or cause creation of a zero-size image to an application that applies a rank, median, minimum, or maximum filter. This causes a native process crash. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.

Oct 19, 2026The UpdateHub firmware-over-the-air client parses the CoAP probe response with Zephyr's JSON library in z_impl_updatehub_probe() (subsys/mgmt/updatehub/updatehuCVE-2026-76787 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.9
The UpdateHub firmware-over-the-air client parses the CoAP probe response with Zephyr's JSON library in z_impl_updatehub_probe() (subsys/mgmt/updatehub/updatehub.c). The decoder treats every descriptor field as optional — json_obj_parse() returns a bitmask of the fields it actually decoded and never fails on a missing one — so a response that omits the "sha256sum" string leaves the corresponding const char * in the zero-initialised struct resp_probe_any_boards / struct resp_probe_some_boards at NULL. Both metadata branches then computed sha256size = strlen(...objects.sha256sum) + 1 before any validation, dereferencing that NULL pointer; the SHA256_HEX_DIGEST_SIZE test that follows operates on a value the bad read has already produced and cannot prevent it. The metadata is supplied entirely by the network peer: probe_cb() accepts the datagram, runs coap_packet_parse() and copies the payload with no token matching and no cryptographic check. With CONFIG_UPDATEHUB_DTLS unset — the default — start_coap_client() uses plain CoAP over UDP on port 5683 with no peer authentication and resolves the server via unauthenticated DNS, so an on-path attacker, a DNS spoofer, or an off-path attacke

Oct 19, 2026Pillow is a Python imaging library.CVE-2026-112395 · Other software · python-pillow · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 8.2.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow's tiled-TIFF decoder can read past the tile buffer while copying four-byte pixels. In _decodeTile, libtiff can return a tile allocation smaller than the required row stride multiplied by the tile length, and Pillow's stride-and-copy loop walks beyond that allocation. An attacker can supply a crafted tiled TIFF to an application that loads it. This can expose adjacent heap data in pixels or crash the process. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.

Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 13.0.0, Pillow's P;2L and P;4L raw decoders can read past the end of an input buffer. ImagingRawDecode calculates a packed-pixel row size, while the unpackers read separately padded bit planes. A caller can supply a buffer and image dimensions whose accepted size is smaller than the unpacker's actual footprint. This can disclose up to three adjacent heap bytes in output pixels or crash the process. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.

Oct 19, 2026Pillow is a Python imaging library.CVE-2026-112393 · Other software · python-pillow · reported by GitHubCritical 9.2
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 2.0.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow has a heap buffer overflow and stale-heap disclosure in _tiffWriteProc when saving compressed TIFF data through libtiff to a target without a usable fileno(), such as BytesIO. The callback sizes its allocation from the prior buffer size instead of the current write position, allowing an attacker-controlled out-of-line TIFF tag or retained ICC profile to be copied beyond the allocation after libtiff seeks forward. This overflow can crash the process and may allow code execution. Independently, unwritten alignment gaps in compressed TIFF output larger than 64 KiB can disclose stale heap bytes without a crafted tag. File paths and targets with real file descriptors are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.

Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 5.1.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow's PdfParser.get_value() can recurse without a limit while reading nested PDF objects. The parser follows attacker-controlled arrays and dictionaries when an existing PDF is opened for append. An attacker can provide a deeply nested PDF to an application that saves an image with PDF append enabled. Oct 19, 2026Pillow is a Python imaging library.CVE-2026-112390 · Other software · python-pillow · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 7.2.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow can enter an infinite loop while determining the frame count of a MIC image. MicImageFile inherits TIFF frame traversal, but MicImageFile.tell reports the OLE stream index and its seek() resets TIFF frame state, so an embedded TIFF with at least three IFDs never advances. When an application with olefile installed reads n_frames or saves all frames from a crafted MIC file, the non-advancing traversal can hold a worker at full CPU indefinitely. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.

Oct 19, 2026russh is a Rust SSH client and server library that includes an SSH agent protocol implementation.CVE-2026-111061 · Other software · Eugeny · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3
russh is a Rust SSH client and server library that includes an SSH agent protocol implementation. Prior to 0.64.1, the agent server spawns a separate long-lived task for every SSH_AGENT_CONSTRAIN_LIFETIME record in a constrained add-key request. The loop accepts repeated lifetime records, clones the key blob into each task, and does not roll back tasks when later constraint parsing fails. An attacker that can speak the agent protocol locally or through agent forwarding can exhaust memory and tasks until the agent process is starved or terminated, denying SSH agent service. This issue is fixed in version 0.64.1.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/core: Fill branch entries with a single assignment perf_clear_branch_entry_bitfields(CVE-2026-98551 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/core: Fill branch entries with a single assignment perf_clear_branch_entry_bitfields() clears the bitfields of struct perf_branch_entry one by one and leaves from/to alone, since callers overwrite those straight away. The list has to be kept in sync with the struct by hand and has already fallen behind: new_type and priv were added to perf_branch_entry and never added here. Only BRBE writes those two, and neither for every record. brbe_set_perf_entry_type() leaves new_type alone for a branch type it does not recognise, and priv is not set for source-only records. arm_pmuv3.c allocates the per-CPU branch stack with kmalloc(), so such a record reaches userspace with whatever the slot held: uninitialised kmalloc() data on the first pass over the buffer, the previous record's values after that. Nothing under arch/x86/events/ writes either field, so only arm64 is affected. Assign the whole entry at each site instead. Everything not named is then zero, and there is no list to keep in sync. The bitfields add up to exactly 64 bits, so the struct has no padding to leave undefined. perf_clear_branch_entry_bitfields

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: libiscsi_tcp: Check the data direction of a Data-In PDU The Data-In branch of iscsi_tcp_hdr_dissect() resolves the ITT to a task and copies the PDU's data segment into that command's scatterlist without asking whether the command was reading. iscsi_tcp_r2t_rsp() in the same file does ask, and rejects an R2T for a command that is not DMA_TO_DEVICE. A target that answers a WRITE command's ITT with a Data-In therefore has the initiator write target-supplied bytes into the pages that write was about to send. Those are the caller's own pinned pages for an O_DIRECT write, and page cache pages for a buffered one. Observed against a test target that emits one 512-byte Data-In naming a 128 KB write's ITT, after the R2T for that write. With O_DIRECT the caller's buffer ends up holding 512 bytes of the target's data while pwrite() returns 131072. Buffered is quieter: pwrite() and fsync() both succeed, nothing is logged, and reading those blocks back returns the target's bytes out of the page cache without a command going on the wire. Check the direction before using the scatterlist, the way the R2T path already doe

OpenHuman is an open-source agent harness available as a desktop application and Rust library. Versions before 0.56.0 allow cross-site request forgery against the unauthenticated GET /auth/telegram loopback callback because telegram_auth_handler consumes an attacker-supplied one-time Telegram login token and passes the returned JWT to credentials::ops::store_session without validating browser fetch metadata or the request origin. An attacker with an OpenHuman account can cause a user with the local core running to visit a malicious page that requests the /auth/telegram endpoint on loopback port 7788, switching the user's active local session to the attacker's backend account and exposing subsequent agent actions, memory writes, and Telegram messages associated with that session to the attacker. Oct 16, 2026The package github.com/gomarkdown/markdown is a Go library for parsing Markdown text and rendering as HTML.CVE-2026-102941 · Other software · gomarkdown · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
The package github.com/gomarkdown/markdown is a Go library for parsing Markdown text and rendering as HTML. Prior to 0.0.0-20260724235538-61af6e1e6971, parser.IsSafeURL in parser/parser.go slices url[:nPath] before the len(url) >= nPath guard. A short destination causes a slice-bounds panic when the loop reaches a relative-path prefix for which len(url) < nPath and cap(url) < nPath. The one-byte destination / is an explicit non-panic counterexample because it matches the first valid path and returns before a longer prefix is sliced. Demonstrated panic cases include empty, ., and .. destinations under those conditions. The panic is reachable when markdown.ToHTML renders untrusted Markdown with html.Safelink enabled, including an empty link destination, and is also reachable by callers that pass a short attacker-controlled URL directly to the exported parser.IsSafeURL function. An uncaught panic can terminate the calling process and cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in 0.0.0-20260724235538-61af6e1e6971.

Oct 15, 2026Junrar is an open source Java RAR archive library.CVE-2026-97370 · Other software · junrar · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Junrar is an open source Java RAR archive library. Prior to 7.6.1, RarVM.ExecuteCode in src/main/java/com/github/junrar/unpack/vm/RarVM.java can repeatedly execute a VM_JMP instruction whose target is greater than or equal to the prepared program's codeSize. The setIP() function returns success without changing the instruction pointer or decrementing maxOpCount, and the jump handler continues before loop-end accounting, leaving both values unchanged. A crafted RAR4 archive can therefore keep an extraction thread in an infinite CPU loop and exhaust archive-processing worker capacity. The RAR virtual machine does not expose native process execution, so the supported impact is availability loss rather than code execution. This issue is fixed in version 7.6.1.

Oct 15, 2026undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js.CVE-2026-87029 · Other software · undici · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbMedium 5.9
undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 7.15.0 through 7.30.0 and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, its decompress interceptor forwards decompressed response data to the downstream handler from zlib stream event callbacks without catching exceptions those callbacks may throw, and while undici's engine converts a synchronous throw from a downstream handler into a per-request failure, that protection is absent when the throw happens asynchronously from a zlib callback. As a result, a downstream handler that throws by design, such as the built-in dump interceptor which throws when a response exceeds its configured maximum size, escapes as an uncaught exception that terminates the Node.js process. A malicious or compromised HTTP server can crash any client that composes the decompress interceptor with such a handler by returning a small compressed body that decompresses to more than the configured limit, so only the decompressed size matters and the bytes on the wire stay tiny. The issue is fixed in undici 7.30.1 and 8.12.2, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. As a workaround, avoid composing the decompress interceptor with a response handler that throws d

Oct 15, 2026undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js.CVE-2026-87018 · Other software · undici · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbHigh 7.5
undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 4.2.1 through 6.29.0, 7.0.0 through 7.30.0, and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, the client process crashes when a TLS 1.2 server renegotiates after the connection is established and presents a different, CA-trusted certificate whose hostname does not match the requested host. Node.js re-runs hostname verification on the renegotiated handshake and destroys the socket with a certificate-altname error, but undici's established-socket error handler asserted that this error code could never occur, so the peer-controlled error became an uncaught assertion that terminates the Node.js process, affecting both the HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/2 paths. A malicious or compromised HTTPS endpoint reached through undici or the global fetch() can crash the client with a single server-initiated renegotiation, taking down all in-flight requests and background work in the process, and exploitation needs no CA compromise because the attacker controls the endpoint and can present two ordinary valid certificates. Only TLS 1.2 is affected, since TLS 1.3 does not support renegotiation. The issue is fixed in undici 6.29.1, 7.30.1, and 8.12.2, and users should upgrade to

Oct 15, 2026ammonia is a Rust library for repairing and securing untrusted HTML.CVE-2026-63430 · Other software · rust-ammonia · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3
ammonia is a Rust library for repairing and securing untrusted HTML. Prior to 3.3.2, 4.0.2, and 4.1.3, applications that explicitly allow the math tag, annotation-xml, and at least one raw-text HTML element while disallowing the encoding attribute can permit mutation cross-site scripting. ammonia does not correctly implement annotation-xml's encoding-dependent MathML integration-point behavior after attribute filtering removes encoding, so the sanitizer validates a descendant under one namespace interpretation while the browser reparses the output under another. An attacker can use that namespace transition and an allowed raw-text HTML element to execute JavaScript when a user renders the sanitized output. The required tags are not enabled by default, so applications that do not explicitly allow them are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.2, 4.0.2, and 4.1.3.

Oct 15, 2026undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js.CVE-2026-109932 · Other software · undici · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbMedium 5.9
undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 5.15.0 through 6.29.0, 7.0.0 through 7.30.0, and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, its WebSocket client, including the bundled WebSocket exposed by Node.js, can be driven to exhaust process memory by a malicious or compromised WebSocket server. For every PING frame received, the client automatically writes a PONG response and ignores the backpressure signal from the socket write, so a server that streams small PING frames while never reading the client's PONGs makes the outbound write queue and heap grow without bound until the Node.js process runs out of memory and terminates. The attack is remote and unauthenticated, needs only a normal WebSocket connection, and is asymmetric, since small inbound PINGs produce a much larger retained outbound queue, with availability the only impact. The issue is fixed in undici 6.29.1, 7.30.1, and 8.12.2, which pause WebSocket frame parsing when the automatic PONG response hits socket backpressure and resume on drain, bounding the outbound queue, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. There is no workaround.

undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 6.5.0 through 6.29.0, 7.0.0 through 7.30.0, and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, its EventSource client can be driven to exhaust process memory by a malicious or compromised Server-Sent Events peer. By sending millions of tiny completed data fields with no blank event separator, or a single unfinished line split across many chunks, the parser retains a growing amount of per-field and per-chunk state that the byte-based maxEventSize and maxResponseSize limits do not bound, and because maxResponseSize is enforced on the compressed body before decompression, a small compressed response can expand into enough retained memory to terminate the process. An application only needs to maintain an EventSource connection to an untrusted peer, which controls only the response, and availability is the only impact. The issue is fixed in undici 6.29.1, 7.30.1, and 8.12.2, which bound the retained parser state independently of the byte limits, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. There is no workaround.

undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 6.23.0 through 6.29.0, 7.18.0 through 7.30.0, and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, its fetch() implementation crashes the Node.js process when a malicious server returns a response with more than five content codings and closes the connection before sending the body. undici rejects such responses because of a content-encoding limit, but it created the internal response stream before that check and returned without attaching an error listener or aborting the request, so the early close surfaces a content-length mismatch on the orphaned stream, which Node.js treats as an unhandled error and terminates the process. A remote, unauthenticated server can trigger this with a single response, even when the application correctly catches the fetch() rejection, resulting in a denial of service. The issue is fixed in undici 6.29.1, 7.30.1, and 8.12.2, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. There is no workaround.

Oct 15, 2026undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js.CVE-2026-109841 · Other software · undici · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbMedium 5.9
undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 7.15.0 through 7.30.0 and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, its fetch() implementation verifies Subresource Integrity metadata by matching the algorithm token against a lowercase-only set, even though the SRI specification defines the token by its ASCII-lowercase form, so a valid but non-lowercase token such as an uppercase or mixed-case SHA256 is treated as unknown and skipped. When no recognized algorithm remains, undici treats the integrity list as empty and accepts the response, so a server returning a body that does not match the pinned digest passes the check. An attacker who controls only the response body can therefore deliver attacker-controlled bytes to an application that pinned a valid uppercase or mixed-case SRI token, with no integrity error, affecting response integrity only. The issue is fixed in undici 7.30.1 and 8.12.2, which normalize the algorithm token to ASCII lowercase before validation, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. As a workaround, use lowercase algorithm tokens such as sha256, sha384, or sha512 in integrity metadata.

undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 7.0.0 through 7.30.0 and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, when an originless Agent composes the redirect and cache interceptors in that order with a shared cache store, the cache builds its key from the original request URL before the redirect handler changes the origin, so a response produced after a cross-origin redirect is stored under the original key. An attacker who controls the target of a redirect from a trusted URL can have their response cached under that trusted URL and served to later callers, allowing persistent cache poisoning, and the same key confusion lets a private, non-stored redirect response to a user-specific resource be stored under the original URL and served to a later unauthenticated caller, disclosing private data. Applications are affected only when an originless Agent, a shared cache store, and the redirect-then-cache composition are all used. The issue is fixed in undici 7.30.1 and 8.12.2, which verify the producing origin still matches the cache key and preserve each redirect hop's cache-control policy before storing, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. As a workaround, compose the

undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 4.0.0 through 6.29.0, 7.0.0 through 7.30.0, and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, its Agent dispatcher passes its constructor options through a JSON-based deep clone before forwarding them to each per-origin pool, and because JSON cannot represent functions, a caller-supplied tls option containing a checkServerIdentity callback is silently dropped before it reaches the TLS layer. As a result, a TLS peer whose certificate a custom checkServerIdentity was written to reject, but which passes Node's default hostname and chain checks, is silently accepted. Because Agent is the default dispatcher behind request, fetch, and setGlobalDispatcher, this affects the path most applications use, and EnvHttpProxyAgent is affected on its direct and no-proxy routes as well, while only applications that pass a function-valued tls option such as a custom checkServerIdentity for certificate or public-key pinning are at risk. The issue is fixed in undici 6.29.1, 7.30.1, and 8.12.2, which preserve the tls option outside the JSON clone so custom verification callbacks are forwarded unchanged, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. Oct 15, 2026joserfc is a Python library that provides an implementation of several JSON Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE) standards.CVE-2026-102946 · Other software · authlib · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1
joserfc is a Python library that provides an implementation of several JSON Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE) standards. Prior to 1.7.4, joserfc.jws.deserialize_json() accepts a JWS General JSON Serialization with an empty signatures array as authenticated. The verify_general_json() loop performs no iterations for the empty array and returns success because no signature check failed, allowing an attacker without a signing key to supply an arbitrary payload that relying applications may treat as authentic. The issue affects the General JSON Serialization path; compact JWS and JWT decoding, Flattened JSON serialization, and JWE JSON processing do not follow this vulnerable path. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.4.

Oct 15, 2026NL Portal Backend Libraries provide backend components for Dutch government portals that interact with residents, customers, suppliers, and partner organizationCVE-2026-55414 · Other software · nl-portal · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
NL Portal Backend Libraries provide backend components for Dutch government portals that interact with residents, customers, suppliers, and partner organizations. From 1.1.0 until 3.0.4, and in 3.1.0, the public getFormDefinitionByObjectenApiUrl and deprecated getFormDefinitionById GraphQL resolvers are reachable without CommonGroundAuthentication and forward a caller-influenced URL through ObjectenApiService.getObjectByUrl to ObjectsApiClient.getObjectByUrl, which attaches the privileged Objecten-API token. The host-equality check restricts requests to the configured Objecten-API host but does not constrain the scheme, port, or path, allowing an unauthenticated caller to induce a token-bearing request to a chosen endpoint on that host. Standard deployments are not exposed to cross-host SSRF, token capture requires attacker-controlled routing on the configured host, and typed deserialization limits returned data to objects shaped like form definitions. The 3.0 release line is fixed in version 3.0.4. The advisory does not identify a fixed 3.1 release.

Oct 15, 2026The AsyncHttpClient library allows Java applications to execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-102740 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8
The AsyncHttpClient library allows Java applications to execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.0.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, PropertiesBasedResumableProcessor stores resumable download state at the predictable shared path $java.io.tmpdir/ahc/ResumableAsyncHandler.properties with default permissions and link-following file operations. A local user who can read the shared store can see download URLs, including embedded user information or query tokens. A local user who can write within or pre-create the affected shared store directory can plant a symbolic link that the client follows when saving state, truncating and overwriting a target file writable by the client process. The filesystem path is used when ResumableAsyncHandler decorates another AsyncHandler, while the no-argument constructors use a no-op processor and are unaffected. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12.

A flaw was found in the ContentRepositoryImpl.copyExplodedContent function of the wildfly-core library, which is used by WildFly and JBoss EAP to manage server deployments. The issue occurs when the library processes an unsanitized deployment name. Due to a missing containment check, an attacker with the Deployer RBAC role can use path traversal sequences to access files outside the restricted deployment directory. This can allow the attacker to delete arbitrary directories or create files with arbitrary content, leading to a full privilege escalation to the management SuperUser role.
