  • Aug 16, 2026Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-12998 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 1.55.0.2 via the 'draft' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to enumerate sequential integer entry IDs via the 'draft' parameter and read other users' saved draft form data, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, and free-form message content. This is only exploitable on forms that have the 'Save and Continue' feature enabled.

  • Aug 16, 2026Appointment Booking Calendar — Simply Schedule Appointments Booking: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-13358 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Appointment Booking Calendar — Simply Schedule Appointments Booking Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.12.10 via the ssa_past_appointments due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to access appointment records belonging to arbitrary users and harvest the per-appointment ownership tokens (32-character hashes) embedded in the rendered HTML, which can then be used without any authentication to read or modify those appointments including full customer PII such as name, email, phone number, and private notes. The /wp-json/ssa/v1/render-shortcode REST endpoint is registered unconditionally on rest_api_init regardless of whether the Divi theme is installed, and its permission callback only requires current_user_can('edit_posts'), meaning any Contributor-level account is sufficient to trigger this entire exploit chain.

  • Aug 16, 2026Bookly: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-12905 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Bookly plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions up to, and including, 27.7 via the appointment() method of the Mobile Staff Cabinet API (resource=appointment, action=bookly_mobile_staff_cabinet) in frontend/modules/mobile_staff_cabinet/api/handlers/Handler1_0.php. This is due to the handler loading an Appointment by the attacker-supplied params[id] without verifying that the appointment's staff_id matches the authenticated staff member, whereas sibling operations (deleteAppointment, saveAppointment, appointments list) correctly scope to $this->staff->getId() when $this->role === ROLE_STAFF. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with staff-level mobile cabinet access (any valid access_key token bound to a Staff entity), to read appointment details — including the internal note and the full customer_appointments collection (customer full_name, email, phone, notes, custom_fields, extras, payment_total, payment_type, payment_status) — belonging to other staff members by enumerating sequential appointment IDs.

  • Aug 14, 2026RapiSafe – Secure Multi File Upload for Contact Form 7: Arbitrary file deletionCVE-2026-14484 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1

The RapiSafe – Secure Multi File Upload for Contact Form 7 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the handleAjaxRemoveUpload function in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.4. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). The nonce required to invoke the removal handler is exposed in public-facing JavaScript as RSMFCF7Vars.nonce on every Contact Form 7 page rendering a RapiSafe upload field, making it obtainable by any unauthenticated visitor.

The Welcart e-Commerce WordPress plugin before 2.11.33 does not verify the authenticity of its convenience-store / bank-transfer settlement callback: an unauthenticated request can flip an order from unpaid to settled purely from an order number and a status flag, with no signature, amount, or origin check. • Aug 7, 2026The Code Embed WordPress plugin prior to version 2.6.1 is vulnerable to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through the external URL embed feature in post contentCVE-2026-48093 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

The Code Embed WordPress plugin prior to version 2.6.1 is vulnerable to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through the external URL embed feature in post content. The vulnerable code scans rendered content for URL embed tokens, fetches the remote URL, and inserts the remote response body into the page without output sanitization or an `unfiltered_html` capability check. This allows a Contributor attacker to submit a pending post containing an inert-looking URL token that executes attacker-controlled JavaScript when an Administrator or Editor previews or reviews the post. This is distinct from CVE-2026-2512, which affected custom field meta values up to version 2.5.1. This vector affects version 2.6 and uses the documented external URL embed feature in post content. This particular issue is patched in version 2.6.1.

    What to do
Update the plugin to the newest version.

  • Aug 5, 2026Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-11454 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.2 via the GET /wp-json/gh/v4/contacts/<id> REST endpoint. The endpoint's permission callback checks only the role-level view_contacts capability and read_single() returns the full contact record by sequential integer ID without the object-level view_contact ownership check applied elsewhere in the codebase. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers holding view_contacts but not view_others_contacts — notably Groundhogg's built-in Sales Rep role, designed to see only its own contacts — to read any contact record on the site, including PII, contact meta, owner IDs, the admin edit URL, and (for contacts linked to a WordPress user) that user's full capability set.

  • Aug 1, 2026Gutena Forms – Contact Form, Survey Form, Feedback Form, Booking Form, and Custom Form Builder: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-11995 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Gutena Forms – Contact Form, Survey Form, Feedback Form, Booking Form, and Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify the read/unread status of or permanently trash arbitrary form submission entries belonging to any form. The nonce issued by check_ajax_referer() does not function as an authorization barrier because the nonce action 'gutena_Forms' is emitted to unauthenticated visitors via wp_localize_script() on any public page that contains a Gutena Forms block, making it freely obtainable by anonymous attackers.

  • Jul 31, 2026Fluent Forms – Customizable Contact Forms, Survey, Quiz, & Conversational Form Builder: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-17567 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Fluent Forms – Customizable Contact Forms, Survey, Quiz, & Conversational Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 6.2.8 via the 'transaction' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to brute-force valid transaction hashes and view sensitive payment receipt data including customer name, email address, billing address, order items, payment method, and payment status belonging to other users. Because submission ID, form ID, and transaction creation time are either observable or guessable by an attacker, the effective brute-force space is bounded to approximately 900 candidates per second per (submission, form) pair, making exploitation practical without any prior authentication or account.

  • Jul 29, 2026MasterStudy LMS WordPress Plugin – for Online Courses and Education: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-5060 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The MasterStudy LMS WordPress Plugin – for Online Courses and Education plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.14. This is due to the `stm_lms_delete_cover()` function lacking ownership validation on the `file_id` parameter before passing it to `wp_delete_attachment()`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Instructor-level access and above, to delete arbitrary attachments belonging to any user by enumerating sequential attachment IDs.

The miniOrange Social Login and Register (Discord, Google, Twitter, LinkedIn) WordPress plugin before 7.8.0 does not bind the one-time code used by its optional email-verification (Profile Completion) feature to the account it was issued for, allowing unauthenticated attackers to obtain a valid session for any account, including administrators, by requesting a code for an email address they control and replaying it against the victim's email address. • Jul 28, 2026WordPress Coding Standards is a set of PHP_CodeSniffer rules (sniffs) that enforce WordPress coding conventions.CVE-2026-45293 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

WordPress Coding Standards is a set of PHP_CodeSniffer rules (sniffs) that enforce WordPress coding conventions. From 0.14.1 until 3.4.1, the WordPress.WP.EnqueuedResourceParameters sniff (active in the WordPress and WordPress-Extra rulesets) reconstructed the $ver argument passed to functions such as wp_enqueue_script() and ran it through eval() inside its is_falsy() method, so a maliciously crafted argument such as 'system'('id') would execute during a scan; as a result, running PHPCS with WordPressCS over untrusted PHP (for example a CI pipeline that lints pull requests, or a developer reviewing third-party code) could lead to arbitrary command execution on the scanning host. The WordPress-Core and WordPress-Docs rulesets are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 3.4.1.

    What to do
Update the plugin to 3.4.1 or newer.

The ShopLentor – All-in-One WooCommerce Growth & Store Enhancement Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.5 via the 'optionSection' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to read arbitrary wp_options rows — including internal plugin news feed data, WooCommerce block pattern transients, and third-party configuration records — whose values are stored as arrays-of-arrays containing 'title' keys, enabling cross-plugin data leakage.
