  • Sep 14, 2026Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition.CVE-2026-65838 · Other software · zalando · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition. Prior to 0.27.35, the opaAuthorizeRequestWithBody filter in filters/openpolicyagent/openpolicyagent.go can allow an oversized declared Content-Length request to bypass a deny-on-presence Rego policy because ExtractHttpBodyOptionally leaves OPA with an empty parsed_body while forwarding the complete request body upstream. This incomplete remediation of CVE-2026-50197 affects deployments that authorize request-body content and exceed -open-policy-agent-max-request-body-size, which defaults to 1 MB. Policy logic that does not reject input.attributes.request.http.truncated_body can therefore fail open and permit a forbidden payload to reach the protected service, while small bodies and the previously fixed chunked-body case are evaluated normally. This issue is fixed in version 0.27.35.

  • Sep 14, 2026Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition.CVE-2026-54247 · Other software · zalando · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3

Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition. Prior to 0.26.22, Handler in dataclients/kubernetes/admission/admission.go passes the body of requests to the Kubernetes admission endpoint at :9443/admission directly to io.ReadAll(r.Body) without a size limit. An attacker with in-cluster network access and a valid Kubernetes client certificate can send a very large body that causes unbounded memory allocation and an out-of-memory termination of the Skipper process. The disruption is limited to Ingress and RouteGroup admission rather than pod creation or unrelated admission controllers, and Kubernetes normally restarts the process. This issue is fixed in version 0.26.22.

  • Sep 14, 2026Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition.CVE-2026-54246 · Other software · zalando · reported by GitHubMedium 5.7

Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition. Prior to 0.27.13, the routesrv component serves cluster-wide control-plane data without application-layer authentication through /routes, /routes/{zone}, /swarm/redis/shards, and /swarm/valkey/shards. The handlers registered in routesrv/routesrv.go, eskipBytes.ServeHTTP in routesrv/eskipbytes.go, RedisHandler.ServeHTTP in routesrv/redishandler.go, and ValkeyHandler.ServeHTTP in routesrv/valkeyhandler.go only restrict HTTP methods and do not authenticate callers. A compromised or otherwise attacker-controlled pod that can reach routesrv on the Kubernetes cluster network can bypass its namespace-scoped RBAC and read Ingress and RouteGroup backend URLs, filter-chain and OAuth or OIDC path details, and Redis or Valkey shard addresses across namespaces. NetworkPolicy can restrict reachability but does not remove the missing-authentication condition, and the established impact is confidentiality exposure rather than direct integrity or availability loss. This issue is fixed in version 0.27.13.

  • Sep 14, 2026Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway.CVE-2026-53717 · Other software · envoyproxy · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, internal/wasm/imagefetcher.go follows tenant-controlled EnvoyExtensionPolicy spec.wasm[].code.image.url values to Docker or OCI Wasm layers, and extractWasmPluginBinary uses the untrusted tar-header h.Size value to allocate memory before validating the entry name or declared size. A small PAX or GNU tar header can therefore claim a multi-terabyte entry even though the surrounding LimitReader restricts only the bytes read from the stream, and no registry allowlist prevents a permitted tenant from selecting an attacker-controlled registry that the controller can reach. The allocation is attempted for every tar entry and can cause an unrecoverable Go runtime out-of-memory failure; because the custom resource persists, reconciliation repeatedly crash-loops the shared controller and causes a single-request, non-volumetric, cluster-wide control-plane denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.4 and 1.8.1.

  • Sep 14, 2026ContextForge is an AI gateway, registry, and proxy that provides centralized discovery, guardrails, and management for MCP, A2A, and REST or gRPC APIs.CVE-2026-53708 · Other software · IBM · reported by GitHubMedium 6.6

ContextForge is an AI gateway, registry, and proxy that provides centralized discovery, guardrails, and management for MCP, A2A, and REST or gRPC APIs. Prior to 1.0.3, the /admin/gateways/test call site in mcpgateway/admin.py calls validate_gateway_test_url() in mcpgateway/common/validators.py to resolve and reject private, loopback, link-local, and cloud-metadata addresses, but ResilientHttpClient later resolves the original hostname again without binding the validated address. When MCPGATEWAY_ADMIN_API_ENABLED is enabled, an attacker with a database-backed role containing explicit gateways.read permission can use DNS rebinding to return a public address during validation and a private or metadata address during connection, bypassing ssrf_blocked_networks and ssrf_dns_fail_closed because those controls apply only to the validation-time result. The endpoint's allow_admin_bypass=False setting means a bootstrap-only virtual platform-admin identity without a database role is not sufficient. Successful exploitation can reach internal services and cloud metadata, expose cloud credentials, access internal APIs, or probe internal network ports. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.3.

On systems where the parent directories are world readable (the default on Debian 12), any unprivileged local user able to execute commands or code on the host — including virtual users without SSH access who can upload PHP/CGI scripts — can read the file and obtain the Froxlor database credentials. Database access can then be leveraged to alter an administrator's password hash and TOTP seed, log in as a Froxlor administrator, and ultimately gain root privileges. An issue was discovered in HAProxy 3.3.0 through 3.4.4 and in 3.5-dev1 through 3.5-dev5. Exploitation requires an HTTP/3 frontend: HAProxy must be built with QUIC support and configured with a QUIC bind listener, and the affected traffic must reach a backend over HTTP/1.1 using chunked transfer coding on a reused connection. Under those conditions, when an HTTP/3 request carries no Content-Length header, the HTTP/3 multiplexer credits the length declared in a DATA frame header to the stream endpoint's known-input-payload estimate at the moment the frame header is decoded, before the payload has been received, and that declared length is emitted verbatim as the HTTP/1.1 chunk size. A remote unauthenticated client that declares more payload than it delivers and then ends the stream causes HAProxy to announce a chunk larger than the bytes it writes and to return the connection to the idle pool in a desynchronized state. The result is potential HTTP request smuggling on reused backend connections: an attacker can place a request past a frontend rule such as a path-based http-request deny, so that the smuggled request is never seen by HAProxy's HTTP analysis, and can cause concurrent cl

When a particular authentication mode is configured, the reverse proxy forwards requests for a bundled third-party administrative interface directly to that interface without applying the gateway's own authentication requirement first. All access control for this administrative interface, which manages the credential store used to gate every other service in the deployment, is delegated entirely to that third-party interface's own login mechanism. Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. Prior to 2.11.56, and from 3.0.0 until 3.7.12, a client-supplied dot-form header such as X.Authenticated.User survives ForwardAuth replacement and underscoreHeadersStrategy because Go treats it as distinct from X-Authenticated-User while normalization-prone CGI, WSGI, PHP, and NGINX backends collapse both names. A backend can consequently consume the client value instead of the identity Traefik asserted, allowing identity spoofing for any header managed by Traefik. The aliasHeadersStrategy protection is disabled by default and must be configured as delete or reject. The mitigation is available in 2.11.56 and 3.7.12.

  • Sep 10, 2026Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer.CVE-2026-88879 · Other software · traefik · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3

Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. In Traefik v1.x, v2.x through v2.11.55, and v3.0.0 through v3.7.11, header names are canonicalized only on dashes, so X-Auth-User, X_Auth_User and X.Auth.User are treated as three distinct headers by Traefik, while backends that derive variable names from header names (CGI, WSGI, PHP, NGINX and others) collapse them into a single variable. A client can therefore smuggle a dot-form alias of a header that Traefik manages past the middleware managing it — for example supplying X.Authenticated.User alongside the canonical X-Authenticated-User written by the ForwardAuth middleware — causing such a backend to read the client-supplied value instead of the identity Traefik asserted. In the tested configuration (PHP 8.2 built-in SAPI over an HTTP/1 backend path), Go's lexical header ordering makes the attacker-supplied value win deterministically, so a client that ForwardAuth admits as a low-privilege identity can be treated by the backend as a different user or role. Any header Traefik sets is affected, not only ForwardAuth's. This is an incomplete fix for GHSA-x677-9fxg-v5c5, which blocked only the underscore form. Fixed in v2.11.56 and

Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. In versions >= v2.8.2 through <= v2.11.55 and >= v3.0.0 through <= v3.7.11, the entryPoints.<name>.transport.respondingTimeouts settings — notably readTimeout, which is enabled by default at 60s — are not applied to the HTTP/3 request path. readTimeout is enforced as a deadline on the underlying TCP connection, which cannot be applied to a QUIC stream, and Traefik's HTTP/3 server is constructed without any timeout. As a result, on entry points with HTTP/3 enabled, an unauthenticated remote client that trickles request body bytes can hold a request open indefinitely and, with it, one upstream connection per request, exhausting bounded backend connection pools and causing denial of service. The issue was introduced in v2.8.2 when a quic-go API change removed the embedded http.Server that carried these timeouts. Fixed in v2.11.56 and v3.7.12.

In versions >= v3.7.0 and <= v3.7.11, the Kubernetes ingress-nginx provider mishandles Ingresses that carry both an authentication annotation and the nginx.ingress.kubernetes.io/from-to-www-redirect annotation. For such Ingresses the provider creates an additional 'sibling' router that matches on the host alone, carries only the RedirectRegex middleware, and still points at the parent router's protected backend service. Because RedirectRegex is not a terminal handler, a request its pattern does not match is forwarded to the backend, and because the redirect pattern only accepts a numeric port while Traefik's host matcher canonicalizes the authority via net.SplitHostPort, a request with a non-numeric or empty port (for example 'Host: www.example.com:x') selects the sibling router, misses the redirect, and is proxied to the protected backend with none of the Ingress's annotation-derived middlewares applied. This discards not only authentication (e.g. BasicAuth) but every annotation-derived middleware, including source-IP allowlisting. Traefik v2 and v3 releases before v3.7.0 are not affected. The issue is fixed in v3.7.12.

A client may issue specially crafted HTTP/1.1 chunked requests to a Jetty server that cause Jetty and an intermediary proxy to interpret different request boundaries, potentially resulting in HTTP request smuggling. This is caused by Jetty accepting a lone LF character as a terminator in parts of chunked request parsing. • Sep 3, 2026@fastify/http-proxy versions before 11.6.2 do not validate proxied HTTP request paths for backslash based dot-segments before forwarding them to the configured CVE-2026-85124 · Other software · @fastify/http-proxy · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbHigh 7.5

@fastify/http-proxy versions before 11.6.2 do not validate proxied HTTP request paths for backslash based dot-segments before forwarding them to the configured upstream. The plain HTTP request handler skips the destination validation that the WebSocket path performs, and the underlying reply-from library only rejects forward-slash traversal, so a request containing backslash dot-segments can escape the boundary set by the prefix and rewritePrefix options. An unauthenticated network attacker can use this to reach upstream paths that were meant to stay hidden behind the proxy, resulting in disclosure of internal endpoints. This is a path traversal issue (CWE-22). Users should upgrade to @fastify/http-proxy 11.6.2 or later.

  • Sep 2, 2026LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format.CVE-2026-84377 · Other software · BerriAI · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to versions 1.88.6 and 1.96.2, any authenticated LiteLLM proxy user could redirect an outbound provider call to a destination the user controls and cause the proxy to send its configured provider credentials to that destination. Request validation in litellm/proxy/auth/auth_utils.py, litellm/proxy/common_request_processing.py, litellm/proxy/health_endpoints/_health_endpoints.py, litellm/proxy/image_endpoints/endpoints.py, and litellm/proxy/litellm_pre_call_utils.py used incomplete checks that did not cover every sensitive parameter or inspect equivalent values across nested request fields, path values, and bracket-notation form data. Routing and credential parameters including api_base, base_url, model_list, fallbacks, and litellm_credential_name could therefore be applied without clearing the operator's stored key, exposing upstream provider credentials and other configured secrets and permitting server-side requests to internal services reachable by the proxy. This issue is fixed in versions 1.88.6 and 1.96.2.

  • Sep 1, 2026A flaw was found in Jolokia's JSR-160 proxy functionality where insufficient validation of client-controlled JMX service URLs allows a bypass of the denylist inCVE-2026-84218 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 8.1

A flaw was found in Jolokia's JSR-160 proxy functionality where insufficient validation of client-controlled JMX service URLs allows a bypass of the denylist introduced to mitigate CVE-2018-1000130. The proxy accepts a `target.url` value from a Jolokia POST request and passes it to `JMXServiceURL` and `JMXConnectorFactory` for establishing the remote JMX connection. The existing denylist only rejects URLs matching `service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/ldap:.*`, which can be bypassed using alternative valid JMX service URL forms, including `ldaps://` schemes or LDAP URLs with a non-empty JMX host component. These URLs are accepted as valid `JMXServiceURL` objects and can cause the Jolokia agent JVM to perform a JNDI lookup against an attacker-controlled LDAP endpoint. This can result in server-side request forgery (SSRF), forwarding of supplied JMX credentials to the remote endpoint, and potentially remote code execution depending on the classes and configuration available in the target JVM.
