Oct 6, 2026External Secrets Operator reads information from a third-party service and automatically injects the values as Kubernetes Secrets.CVE-2026-26287 · Other software · external-secrets · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
External Secrets Operator reads information from a third-party service and automatically injects the values as Kubernetes Secrets. Starting in version 0.10.0 and prior to version 1.3.2, a bug in the `webhook` generator initialization order incorrectly cleared the label-enforcement flag (`EnforceLabels`) after it was set, resulting in the provider-side check for `external-secrets.io/type=webhook` being skipped (and the operation to succeed while it should have failed with `secret does not contain needed label 'external-secrets.io/type: webhook'. Update secret label to use it with webhook`. Version 1.3.2 contains a patch.

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: validate absolute native symlink targets before NT fixups With symlinkroot unCVE-2026-98318 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: validate absolute native symlink targets before NT fixups With symlinkroot unset, an absolute target is copied without conversion to an NT drive path. Later code still assumes an NT prefix is present when modifying the target and calculating the print name length. For "/ab", this causes two failures: sym[5] and path[5] are written past their allocations, and plen -= 2 * poff subtracts an assumed 8-byte prefix from a 6-byte UTF-16 target, wrapping u16 plen to 65534. That underflow causes another overflow: memcpy() copies 65534 bytes into a 24-byte buffer. A user with write access to a mounted share can trigger these bugs with default settings. Validate the NT drive prefix, including an ASCII drive letter, before accessing fixed offsets or subtracting the prefix length.

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: skbuff: do not leave stale header offsets after pskb_carve() pskb_carve_inside_headerCVE-2026-98271 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: skbuff: do not leave stale header offsets after pskb_carve() pskb_carve_inside_header() and pskb_carve_inside_nonlinear() remove the first bytes of a packet and reallocate skb->head. All the headers that were present before the operation are gone, but both functions call skb_headers_offset_update(skb, 0), which is a no-op : skb->mac_header, skb->network_header, skb->transport_header and skb->csum_start keep their old values and now describe bytes which are no longer there. Both helpers size the new head from the old skb_end_offset(), so the stale offsets still land inside the new allocation. They point past skb_tail_pointer() though, to bytes that were never initialized. pskb_carve_inside_nonlinear() is the worst case, because it leaves a zombie skb with an empty linear part (skb->data == skb_tail_pointer(skb), skb_headlen(skb) == 0), while skb_mac_header_was_set() is still true and skb->mac_header is way ahead of skb->data. The only user of pskb_extract() is rds_tcp_data_recv(), and the carved skb is queued on tinc->ti_skb_list. When the RDS incoming message is released, rds_tcp_inc_free() calls skb_que

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: xfrm: use full sockets in local error paths xfrm6_local_rxpmtu() and xfrm6_local_errCVE-2026-98241 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: xfrm: use full sockets in local error paths xfrm6_local_rxpmtu() and xfrm6_local_error() dereference skb->sk as if it always pointed at a full IPv6 socket. That is not guaranteed. TCP SYN-ACK skbs can be owned by a TCP_NEW_SYN_RECV request_sock while the output path itself is driven by the full listener. If rerouting selects an IPv6 XFRM tunnel route with a lower MTU, the local PMTU/error handling path can reach these callbacks with that mini-socket still attached to the skb. The callbacks then miscast the request socket as a full inet/IPv6 socket and can read beyond the request_sock allocation when they access inet_sock or ipv6_pinfo state. Resolve the owner with skb_to_full_sk() in both callbacks and bail out when no full socket is attached. This matches the surrounding XFRM IPv6 PMTU/error logic, which already reasons about full sockets with skb_to_full_sk().

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: save input state data before secpath resets xfrm_input() stores the current xfrm_staCVE-2026-98229 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: save input state data before secpath resets xfrm_input() stores the current xfrm_state in the skb secpath while it continues receive-side processing. Some input paths can reset that secpath before xfrm_input() has finished dereferencing the state. Receive callback users such as VTI and XFRM interfaces can reset the secpath. The VTI receive path does so before checking whether the packet crosses network namespaces, while the XFRM interface path does so only for cross-network-namespace packets. The XFRM_MAX_DEPTH error path can also reset the secpath before the final drop callback reports the current state's protocol. If secpath_reset() drops the last state reference while the state is concurrently deleted, xfrm_input() can still dereference the freed state when selecting transport_finish() or reporting the drop callback protocol. Save the state protocol on the stack while the state is still valid, and use the already saved address family for transport_finish(). A larval XFRM_STATE_ACQ state has no type, so retain nexthdr as its protocol. This preserves the existing drop-path fallback while avoiding the po

Oct 2, 2026probe-image-size gets image dimensions without downloading the entire file.CVE-2026-104861 · Other software · nodeca · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
probe-image-size gets image dimensions without downloading the entire file. Prior to 7.4.0, lib/parse_sync/svg.js and lib/parse_stream/svg.js use the searching regular expression /<[-_.:a-zA-Z0-9][^>]*>/, which repeatedly scans to the end of input when attacker-controlled data contains many less-than characters without a closing greater-than character. The synchronous parser converts and scans the full supplied buffer without an input cap, while the streaming parser reparses the complete accumulated SVG prefix for every received chunk. The probe.sync(), probe(stream), and probe(url) entry points can therefore block the Node.js event loop at full CPU, and attacker-controlled chunking can amplify the streaming cost. This issue is fixed in version 7.4.0.

The Event Tickets and Registration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'orderby' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.29.5 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Memory allocation with excessive size value in the OpenPGP signature and user attribute subpacket parsers (SignatureSubpacketsParser.ReadPacket, UserAttributeSubpacketsParser.ReadPacket) in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker who can supply a crafted OpenPGP public key, certificate or signature to cause a denial of service (OutOfMemoryException or memory exhaustion in the parsing process) via a subpacket header using the five-octet length form, because the declared length was used to size the subpacket buffer with no upper bound and without being compared with the size of the enclosing subpacket area or packet, so a few bytes of input could demand an allocation of up to about 2 GB before any subpacket data was read.

The SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 1.73.2 via the 'theme' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included. Exploitation requires sending a malicious widgetData payload containing a legacy top-level theme key alongside a non-empty columns array to the /wp-json/sowb/v1/widgets/previews REST endpoint, which bypasses field validation because update_fields() only processes declared form fields.

Oct 1, 2026GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS.CVE-2026-71542 · Other software · GetSimpleCMS-CE · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS. In versions 3.3.22 and prior, GetSimpleCMS-CE is vulnerable to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the "Theme to Components" functionality (admin/components.php) via the title parameter. The stored title is rendered inside a double-quoted HTML attribute in the administrative interface through an output path that HTML-entity-decodes the value before printing it, without re-encoding for the attribute context. This allows persistent execution of arbitrary JavaScript in the admin panel. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.

GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS. In versions 3.3.22 and prior, an authenticated user with page-editing rights can store an arbitrary filesystem path in a page's template attribute. On the public front-end, this value is passed unsanitized to a PHP include() when the page is rendered. GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS. In versions 3.3.22 and prior, an authenticated stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the page backup viewer (admin/backup-edit.php). Oct 1, 2026GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS.CVE-2026-56662 · Other software · GetSimpleCMS-CE · reported by GitHubCritical 9.6
GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS. Prior to version 1.5, the UpdateCE update form contained no anti-CSRF token, and the POST handler performed no token or request-origin verification. A remote attacker can host a page that auto-submits a forged POST to the update endpoint; when an authenticated administrator visits it, the server performs an attacker-directed download-and-deploy operation in the administrator's session — with no further interaction. Because the deployed content is executed (see the related ZIP-extraction advisory), this yields remote code execution. The url field is additionally written into the form unescaped, providing a secondary HTML-injection sink via a malicious upgrade.json. This issue has been patched in version 1.5.

GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS. Prior to version 1.5, the update handler fetches a user-supplied URL with file_get_contents() after only format validation (FILTER_VALIDATE_URL) — there is no validation of the request destination. An attacker who can submit the form can make the server issue requests to arbitrary destinations, including internal-only services and cloud metadata endpoints (169.254.169.254). The fetched response body is written to a web-accessible file (/Tmpfile.zip) and is not deleted when the content is not a valid ZIP, turning this into a full-read SSRF: the attacker can retrieve the response of the internal request directly. This issue has been patched in version 1.5.

GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS. Prior to version 1.5, the update handler in UpdateCE.php downloads a ZIP archive and extracts its contents into the web root without validating file types or extraction paths. Because PHP files are written into a web-accessible directory, an attacker who can cause a malicious archive to be processed achieves remote code execution as the web-server user. Entry names are also used unsafely, allowing directory traversal (../) to write files outside the intended extraction directory. This issue has been patched in version 1.5.

Oct 1, 2026GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS.CVE-2026-53953 · Other software · GetSimpleCMS-CE · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1
GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS. In version 3.3.22, the password reset endpoint can be accessed without authentication. When a reset request is submitted for an existing user, the application generates a new temporary password and immediately stores its hash as the user's new password. The temporary password is generated using PHP rand() seeded with microtime(). Because this seed is time-based and has a limited effective search space, an attacker can generate possible reset password candidates. Since the admin login endpoint does not enforce rate limiting or account lockout, these candidates can be tested online until the correct password is found. Successful exploitation may lead to administrator account takeover. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.

Sep 30, 2026An integer overflow in WSS4J's DER bounds check lets an oversized allocation pass validation.CVE-2026-95616 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5
An integer overflow in WSS4J's DER bounds check lets an oversized allocation pass validation. An unauthenticated attacker can send a SOAP message carrying an X.509 certificate whose SubjectKeyIdentifier extension declares a length of 0x7FFFFFFF; WSS4J decodes this while resolving the signature's key reference, before the message is authenticated, so an eleven-byte extension triggers a 2 GB allocation. Repeated requests exhaust server memory. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.0.2 or 3.0.6 or 2.4.4, which fix this issue.

Sep 29, 2026NetX Duo's WebSocket client resets the unmasking cursor to the first `NX_PACKET` each time it advances through a chained packet, while the loop's upper bound beCVE-2026-102761 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgCritical 9.3
NetX Duo's WebSocket client resets the unmasking cursor to the first `NX_PACKET` each time it advances through a chained packet, while the loop's upper bound belongs to the current packet. With the standard contiguous packet-pool layout, a masked server frame split across two packets therefore drives the XOR loop through the first packet's unused payload area and on through the second packet's `NX_PACKET` control block. The four-byte WebSocket masking key controls the bytes written, so the corruption is attacker-chosen rather than incidental.

Sep 29, 2026Issue summary: The QUIC stream reassembly algorithm performance deteriorates progressively as packets are arriving out of order.CVE-2026-42772 · Websites & servers · OpenSSL · reported by openssl-security@openssl.orgMedium 5.3
Issue summary: The QUIC stream reassembly algorithm performance deteriorates progressively as packets are arriving out of order. The worst case has a quadratic complexity proportional to the number of stream frames kept in the buffer for the received stream data. Impact summary: A remote QUIC peer that completes the handshake can create a connection-scoped CPU pressure and potentially a Denial of Service using compliant STREAM frames inside the advertised receive window, with low attacker bandwidth. CWE: CWE-407: Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity Description: OpenSSL manages received QUIC stream fragments using a doubly-linked list. While it optimizes for append operations (at the end of the list), it falls back to a head-to-tail linear search for any fragment that does not immediately follow the current `tail`. By manipulating the sequence of offsets, an attacker can force the server to perform O(n^2) operations, consuming excessive CPU time for the QUIC process. FIPS impact: no The FIPS module is not affected as the QUIC implementation is outside of the OpenSSL FIPS module boundary.

Issue summary: The OpenSSL QUIC server, when configured to not preform address validation, can be forced to count incoming packets multiple times in its unvalidated credit computation, leading to a violation of the RFC 9000 unvalidated connection amplification limit of 3 times the amount of data received. Impact summary: A remote attacker able to spoof packets to a server using the OpenSSL QUIC implementation might use the server for an amplification of a DDoS attack. CWE: CWE-440: Expected Behavior Violation Description: OpenSSL's QUIC stack, when operating as a server, enforces client address validation (RFC 9000, Section 8), to confirm the peer address is not used for a traffic amplification attack. If this feature is disabled on the server, the QUIC stack limits the amount of server data that can be sent to 3 times the amount of data received from the peer address, until such time as the TLS handshake is completed. The OpenSSL QUIC server, when operating in non-validation mode, adds the length of the whole datagram received to the unvalidated credit limit when processing each QUIC packet in the datagram. A remote peer may, after establishing a connection with an initial c

Sep 29, 2026Werkzeug is a comprehensive WSGI web application library.CVE-2026-102598 · Other software · pallets · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3
Werkzeug is a comprehensive WSGI web application library. Prior to 3.1.9, the safe_join function used by send_from_directory can allow a NUL: special-device path because safe_join checks the Windows device name without first removing an empty NTFS ADS marker. The trigger is that an application runs on Windows with NTFS and serves a user-specified path ending in a special device name such as NUL:. The attack mechanism is that a requested path ends in a Windows special device name with an empty ADS marker. The impact is that the special device opens successfully and the file read hangs indefinitely. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.9.

Sep 29, 2026A missing bounds check in the binary decoder in lib0, versions 0.2.1-0.2.117 and earlier and 1.0.0-rc.32 and earlier, lets any unauthenticated remote peer read CVE-2026-102360 · Other software · dmonad · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
A missing bounds check in the binary decoder in lib0, versions 0.2.1-0.2.117 and earlier and 1.0.0-rc.32 and earlier, lets any unauthenticated remote peer read adjacent process memory and receive it back. `readUint8Array` never compares the wire-supplied length against the decoder's own view, so one over-long length prefix returns whatever the host process allocated next: other tenants' document content, personal data, and live bearer session tokens**, recovered in full and at will. An attacker who can supply bytes to a lib0 decoder which means any peer that can open a socket, including before authentication reads adjacent process memory and, where the consumer echoes, stores or re-serves the decoded value, receives it back. This is patched in version 0.2.118 and 1.0.0-rc.33.

Joomla Extension - regularlabs.com - LFI / SSRF in Modules Anywhere 1.5.0 - 9.0.5 for Joomla - Modules Anywhere Pro lets additional attributes on a module tag replace arbitrary parameters of the selected module. This feature is enabled by default in affected versions. The overrides are applied without checking who authored the content containing the tag. The security effect depends on how the selected module consumes the replaced parameter. Joomla's core Feed module provides a concrete affected path: its rssurl parameter is opened by the server and accepts local file: URLs as well as network URLs.
