Prior to 0.0.2, a dangling symlink pointing outside the workspace root bypasses resolveSafePath when fs.realpathSync throws ENOENT for a nonexistent target. Oct 19, 2026Insufficient Granularity of Access Control vulnerability in Apache Camel Platform HTTP component.CVE-2026-85316 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 4.8
Insufficient Granularity of Access Control vulnerability in Apache Camel Platform HTTP component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1. The component decided whether an endpoint ran in proxy mode by testing whether its configured path started with the string proxy, rather than by matching the path exactly. Any endpoint whose path merely begins with those characters - proxyStatus, proxy-config, proxying and so on - therefore became a proxy endpoint without the route author asking for it. A proxy endpoint forwards requests onward, so an endpoint that was intended to serve its own content instead relays traffic on behalf of whoever calls it, which is both a request forgery primitive and an exposure of whatever the forwarding path can reach. Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. Users on the 4.22.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. Proxy mode is now selected by an exact path match rather than by prefix. For deployments that cannot upgrade immediately, rename any endpoint path that begins with proxy but is not intended to be a proxy.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rtc: ac100: Assign .num before accessing .hws Commit f316cdff8d67 ("clk: Annotate struct clk_hw_onecell_data with __counted_by") annotated the hws member of 'struct clk_hw_onecell_data' with __counted_by, which informs the bounds sanitizer (UBSAN_BOUNDS) about the number of elements in .hws[], so that it can warn when .hws[] is accessed out of bounds. As noted in that change, the __counted_by member must be initialized with the number of elements before the first array access happens, otherwise there will be a warning from each access prior to the initialization because the number of elements is zero. This occurs in ac100_rtc_register_clks() due to .num being assigned only after every clkout clock has been stored in .hws[]. With CONFIG_UBSAN_BOUNDS and a compiler that implements __counted_by (GCC 15.1+ or Clang 20.1+), this triggers an array-index-out-of-bounds report during probe, and with CONFIG_UBSAN_TRAP the first store traps. Initialize .num with AC100_CLKOUT_NUM, the number of elements .hws[] was allocated with, right after the allocation. That is the value the loop counter ends up at on the success path a

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: serial: fix port tear down use-after-free Some drivers for multiport devices access pCVE-2026-98772 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: serial: fix port tear down use-after-free Some drivers for multiport devices access port driver data from completion handlers of shared URBs submitted at attach() or first open() and stopped at disconnect() or last close(), respectively. A simple NULL check before accessing the driver data makes sure that a port state container has at least been allocated, but a completion handler can still race with port tear down. Reorder the disconnect handling so that ports are not deregistered (and their driver data freed) until after all ports have been hung up and the driver disconnect() callback has run so that all I/O has been stopped.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: dwc2: shut down wakeup timer before freeing HCD state dwc2_wakeup_detected() accesses the DWC2 host state and can rearm the wakeup timer. dwc2_hcd_free() currently deletes the timer only after freeing host-owned state, and timer_delete() does not synchronize a callback or prevent it from being queued again. Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thunderbolt: Don't access a DP tunnel after its DPRX read was canceled tb_dp_dprx_work() cCVE-2026-98689 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thunderbolt: Don't access a DP tunnel after its DPRX read was canceled tb_dp_dprx_work() checks ->dprx_canceled before it takes tb->lock so it misses a tb_dp_dprx_stop() that could not cancel the already running work. It then polls the DPRX capabilities and runs the callback for a tunnel that has already been torn down while the domain is suspending or going away. This can be hit by cancelling the DPRX read from outside the ordered tb->wq: During suspend tb_disconnect_and_release_dp() does just this and with a later patch tb_stop() will do it as well. The latter in combination with the Apple NHI where the DPRX read never completed is how I hit this. Check the flag with tb->lock held instead and check it again in tb_dp_tunnel_active() because the callback runs after the lock has been dropped again. Also clear the flag in tb_dp_dprx_start() so that it only ever describes the work that is currently in flight.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: pressure: bmp280: fix out-of-bounds access in sampling frequency lookup The sampling frequency tables store each frequency as an integer part and a fractional part in micro units. num_sampling_freq_avail is initialized to the number of flattened integer elements because read_avail() returns the table as a flat array. bmp280_write_sampling_frequency(), however, indexes the same table as a two-dimensional array and uses num_sampling_freq_avail as the number of rows. Convert the flattened element count back to the number of rows before iterating over the table.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Require kernel access for text poke events Perf events with exclude_kernel=1 can be CVE-2026-98655 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Require kernel access for text poke events Perf events with exclude_kernel=1 can be opened without kernel perf access. However, exclude_kernel does not suppress text-poke sideband records. Every PERF_RECORD_TEXT_POKE is marked PERF_RECORD_MISC_KERNEL and contains a raw kernel instruction address. An unprivileged task can therefore open and mmap a task-local software event with text_poke=1. Both opening a count-only tracepoint event and configuring UDP GRO for ESP-in-UDP cause updates to inline static calls; the observer receives the relocated addresses of the modified instructions. For a known kernel image, any such address reveals the runtime kernel text base despite KASLR. Call perf_allow_kernel() whenever attr.text_poke is set, regardless of exclude_kernel. Events that neither monitor kernel execution nor request text-poke records retain their existing permissions.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: Fix _gaccess_shadow_fault() In some circumstances, it is possible that the page of nested guest memory that is being shadowed is not present at all in the parent guest gmap. dat_entry_walk() will not find any leaf entry and return with -ENOENT, which will erroneously be propagated all the way to userspace. Fix by manually calling gmap_link() on the memory of the nested guest that is being shadowed if the mapping was not already present.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix divide-by-zero in btf_struct_walk() When an access goes past the struct and the last member is a flexible array, btf_struct_walk() folds the offset back into a single element with (off - moff) % t->size, but never checks that the element type has a size. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix bpf_sock context code generation Currently, the ctx access code reads the rx_queue_mapping field with either a 4-byte or 2-byte load. The rest of the bits in the register are marked known zero by the verifier. However, the emitted ctx access code places in the register on certain the special value (-1) using BPF_MOV_IMM64, which gets sign-extended to turn on all the bits in the register. By shifting this value right, the program ends up with a value at runtime above what the verifier assumes is possible. Fix this by ensuring the read value is as wide as the assumed size. Use MOV32 instructions instead of MOV64 instructions to keep the upper bits zero as assumed by the verifier. Also properly report the size of the destination variable (the bpf_sock field, 4 bytes) instead of the source (the socket field, 2 bytes).

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: validate frame length before control and FCS access l2cap_data_rcv() unpCVE-2026-98457 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: validate frame length before control and FCS access l2cap_data_rcv() unpacks either a two-byte or four-byte control field without first ensuring that it is present. A short ERTM or streaming-mode frame can therefore cause an out-of-bounds read. There is a second short-frame case when CRC16 is enabled. After the control field is pulled, l2cap_check_fcs() subtracts two from skb->len without checking it. If fewer than two bytes remain, the subtraction wraps; skb_trim() leaves the buffer unchanged and the subsequent FCS load reads past the logical end of the frame. Validate that the frame contains both its control field and, when enabled, its FCS before either field is accessed.
