Authorised users of outside applications behind the same corporate identity provider (IdP), for example, a wiki, a ticketing system, an expenses tool, or anything they legitimately hold an account on can log into their system via SAML SSO. The IdP issues an assertion to them. If that assertion is presented to NeuVector, NeuVector accepts it because the only thing distinguishing "an assertion for NeuVector" from "an assertion for the wiki" is the element, and the `NotInAudience` warning that reports the mismatch is never read.

  • Sep 15, 2026The EmbedVideo Extension is a MediaWiki extension which adds a parser function called #ev and various parser tags for embedding video clips from various video sCVE-2026-55692 · Other software · StarCitizenWiki · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

The EmbedVideo Extension is a MediaWiki extension which adds a parser function called #ev and various parser tags for embedding video clips from various video sharing services. Prior to 4.1.0, with the default $wgEmbedVideoRequireConsent configuration enabled, includes/EmbedService/EmbedHtmlFormatter.php places JSON returned through includes/EmbedService/AbstractEmbedService.php into the data-mw-iframeconfig attribute without safely escaping single quotes. Attacker-controlled archiveorg identifiers and wistia or sharepoint URLs accepted by the affected service validators can cause getUrl() output to terminate the attribute and inject event-handler attributes into the generated figure element. A user able to edit a wiki page can store JavaScript that executes in the wiki origin when visitors render the page. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.0.

The EmbedVideo Extension is a MediaWiki extension which adds a parser function called #ev and various parser tags for embedding video clips from various video sharing services. Prior to 4.1.0, EmbedServiceFactory::newFromName in includes/EmbedService/EmbedServiceFactory.php interpolates an attacker-controlled unknown service name into exception text, and includes/EmbedVideo.php returns that text as HTML through the isHtml output path without neutralization. Both the #ev parser function and the evl parser form can reach this error path. • Sep 15, 2026XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform.CVE-2026-53966 · Other software · xwiki · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform. From 13.4-rc-1 until 16.10.17, 17.4.10, 17.10.4, and 18.1.0-rc-1, the Live Data edit REST API allows a user who can edit a page to change that page's rights without executing the normal document-saving authorization checks. The user can grant script right and then execute potentially dangerous Velocity scripts or send unfiltered HTML and JavaScript to clients. The same missing checks can circumvent extension security controls implemented as listeners for UserUpdatingDocumentEvent and related user document events. This issue is fixed in versions 16.10.17, 17.4.10, 17.10.4, and 18.1.0-rc-1.

  • Sep 14, 2026XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform.CVE-2026-34151 · Other software · xwiki · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform. Prior to 17.10.5 and 18.2.0, the /skin/ action in com.xpn.xwiki.web.SkinAction can resolve double-encoded parent-directory segments outside the intended skin or web-application resource prefix when Jetty 12 or later decodes the request path. The affected lookup is replaced with Environment.getResourceAsStream(String, String), which constrains a resource to its expected prefix. An unauthenticated remote attacker can use the vulnerable behavior to read arbitrary resources permitted to the Jetty process, including WEB-INF/xwiki.cfg and, depending on deployment depth and operating-system permissions, host files. Tomcat and Jetty versions before 12 do not appear affected. This issue is fixed in versions 17.10.5 and 18.2.0.

  • Sep 4, 2026YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP.CVE-2026-52774 · Other software · YesWiki · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1

YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP. Prior to version 4.6.6, YesWiki's Bazar widget handler reflects the id GET parameter into HTML attributes using strip_tags() only. Because strip_tags() does not escape double quotes, an attacker can break out of the attribute value, inject an event handler such as onmouseover, and execute arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's browser. This issue is reachable without authentication. During validation, the vulnerable widget route returned the injected HTML for both /HomePage/widget?id=... and /NoSuchPage/widget?id=..., which shows that no login, no page ownership, no edit rights, and not even a valid page tag were required. The only routing prerequisite observed was that the Bazar extension is enabled and the request includes an id parameter. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.6.

  • Sep 4, 2026YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP.CVE-2026-52773 · Other software · YesWiki · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1

YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP. From version 4.1.0 to before version 4.6.6, YesWiki's archived-revision view reflects the time GET parameter into a hidden HTML input in handlers/page/show.php without escaping. Because MySQL coerces malformed DATETIME strings, an attacker can append HTML or JavaScript to a valid archived revision timestamp, still load that archived revision, and execute arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's browser. The vulnerable form is only rendered when the victim can both read and edit the target page. In restricted deployments this requires a victim with read and write access to that page. On a default doryphore 4.6.5 install, public pages such as PagePrincipale were editable anonymously during validation, so the issue can also affect unauthenticated visitors in that configuration. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.6.

  • Sep 4, 2026YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP.CVE-2026-52771 · Other software · YesWiki · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3

YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP. From version 4.2.0 to before version 4.6.6, ApiController::deletePage() interpolates a page tag retrieved from the database into a DELETE FROM …_links WHERE to_tag = '$tag' query without escaping. The page tag is attacker-controlled — the POST /api/pages/{tag} API accepts arbitrary URL-encoded values, including single quotes, and stores them. A low-privilege authenticated user can therefore create a page whose tag is a SQL fragment, make the page non-orphaned via the standard {{include page="…"}} link mechanism, and then invoke the delete endpoint to execute arbitrary SQL inside the wiki database - including time-based blind data exfiltration from any table. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.6.

YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP. Prior to version 4.6.6, YesWiki’s public Bazar entry-listing APIs are vulnerable to unauthenticated SQL injection in numeric query / queries filters. For Bazar fields whose value structure is numeric, YesWiki escapes the attacker-controlled filter value but inserts it into SQL without quotes or numeric validation. • Sep 4, 2026YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP.CVE-2026-52769 · Other software · YesWiki · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3

YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP. From version 4.6.2 to before version 4.6.6, the POST /api/forms/{formId}/actor/inbox route - exposed publicly with acl:"public" - accepts an HTTP Signature header whose keyId parameter is a URL. HttpSignatureService::verifySignature() parses the header and immediately makes a server-side HTTP GET to that URL, before any cryptographic verification or URL validation. An unauthenticated remote attacker can therefore make YesWiki issue arbitrary outbound HTTP requests to any host the server can reach - internal services, cloud-metadata endpoints (169.254.169.254), intranet-only admin panels, etc. - and read enough back via timing and error-message oracles to scan ports, enumerate services, and (on a real cloud instance) reach IAM metadata. The only deployment-side precondition is that ActivityPub be enabled on at least one Bazar form. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.6.

  • Sep 4, 2026YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP.CVE-2026-52767 · Other software · YesWiki · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP. From version 4.6.2 to before version 4.6.6, HttpSignatureService::verifySignature() checks the result of PHP's openssl_verify() with a loose boolean negation - if (!openssl_verify(...)) { throw ... }. PHP's openssl_verify has four possible return values: 1, 0, -1, and "false". The -1 row is the bypass: PHP's truthiness rules make -1 a truthy value, so !(-1) === false, the throw is skipped, and the controller proceeds to processActivity(). Any condition that makes OpenSSL's EVP_VerifyFinal() return -1 triggers the bypass. The reachable consequence is the controller silently treats a failed verification as success and processes the attacker's payload. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.6.

  • Sep 4, 2026YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP.CVE-2026-52766 · Other software · YesWiki · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP. Prior to version 4.6.6, the {{erasespamedcomments}} wiki action (actions/EraseSpamedCommentsAction.php) accepts a suppr[] array from POST and deletes every wiki page whose tag appears in that array, with no authorization check anywhere in the action body or in the page-deletion path it invokes. Combined with YesWiki's allow-by-default action ACL model, any user who has page write access, which is the default for everyone (default_write_acl='*') on a fresh install can permanently delete arbitrary wiki pages, including the front page, admin pages, and pages owned by other users. • Sep 4, 2026YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP.CVE-2026-52763 · Other software · YesWiki · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP. Prior to version 4.6.6, the recentchanges action (actions/recentchanges.php) accepts a period argument from two disjoint parameter spaces. A whitelist validates only the URL form against ['day','week','month']. The action-argument form takes the else branch with no validation, and the value flows into PageManager::getRecentlyChanged(), where it is interpolated into a WHERE time >= '...' ORDER BY time DESC clause without escaping or parameterization. UNION-based injection succeeds, the leaked rows render into the response page, so any visitor of the trigger page sees the exfiltrated data. The vulnerability provides arbitrary read of the YesWiki database to anyone who can save the trigger page. On a default install (default_write_acl='*'), this includes anonymous users, subject to the hashcash JS check on the page-edit form. Once the trigger page is saved, every subsequent view fires the injection as the SQLi is stored. Stored SQL injection is reachable through the page-edit flow, with arbitrary database read. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.6.

  • Sep 1, 2026BetterDocs – AI Documentation, Knowledge Base, Docs, Wikis, FAQ with Chatbot: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-75980 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The BetterDocs – AI Documentation, Knowledge Base, Docs, Wikis, FAQ with Chatbot plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Heading 'id' Attribute in Post Content in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The exploit survives wp_kses_post because entity-encoded quotes in a heading id attribute are treated as a single legitimate attribute value at save time; the dangerous payload only materialises after process_content_for_toc() calls html_entity_decode() on the stored content and the broken id is extracted by a lazy regex before being echoed unescaped into the Table of Contents output.

  • Aug 26, 2026LeafWiki extracts an uploaded ZIP archive without limiting how much data it will write.CVE-2026-80189 · Other software · perber · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1

LeafWiki extracts an uploaded ZIP archive without limiting how much data it will write. ZipExtractor.ExtractToDir in internal/importer/zip_extractor.go opens each entry and copies it to the destination with io.Copy, which runs to the end of the decompressed stream, so only the size of the uploaded archive is bounded and the size it expands to is not. The import route that reaches this code requires the Editor or Admin role, and the upload itself is capped at 500 MiB compressed. Because a ZIP entry can compress at a very high ratio, an archive well inside that cap can expand to hundreds of gigabytes as it is written out. The extraction directory defaults to a location under the operating system temporary directory, so the written data consumes the disk backing that path, which on a tmpfs-backed temporary directory is memory. A user holding the Editor role can therefore exhaust the storage the service depends on and keep it from serving, using far more resource than the upload limit alone would permit.

  • Aug 21, 2026LeafWiki is a self-hosted wiki.CVE-2026-53529 · Other software · perber · reported by GitHubMedium 4.8

LeafWiki is a self-hosted wiki. Prior to version 0.10.2, page titles returned by the search API could be rendered as raw HTML in the frontend. A user with editor or administrator permissions could create or modify a page title containing an HTML/JavaScript payload. When another user searched for a matching term, the payload could execute in the victim’s browser. The impact depends on deployment configuration. With `--public-access` enabled, unauthenticated visitors could be affected. In authenticated-only deployments, the issue could be used for cross-user XSS against logged-in users who can access search results. The issue has been fixed in version 0.10.2 by ensuring that author-controlled page titles in search results are not interpreted as raw HTML by the browser while preserving search result highlighting.

  • Aug 21, 2026LeafWiki is a self-hosted wiki.CVE-2026-53528 · Other software · perber · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

LeafWiki is a self-hosted wiki. Versions 0.3.0 through 0.10.0 have a path traversal vulnerability in LeafWiki’s asset rename functionality. An authenticated user with editor permissions could move files that are accessible to the LeafWiki server process into a page’s asset directory. This could allow sensitive local files, such as the application database, to become downloadable as page assets. Users should update to version 0.10.1 or greater. As an additional mitigation, operators should ensure that the LeafWiki process runs with the least privileges necessary and does not have filesystem access to sensitive files outside the application’s required directories. Until a patch is applied, operators may reduce risk by restricting editor access to trusted users only and by limiting the filesystem permissions of the LeafWiki process.

Maps is a MediaWiki extension that enables visualization of geographic data through dynamic embedded maps. Prior to version 12.1.3, the display_map parser function in the Leaflet service accepts attacker-controlled HTML in the overlays parameter, and resources/leaflet/jquery.leaflet.js uses the overlay name as a Leaflet layer-control label without escaping it. A path traversal vulnerability in AsyncFuncAI deepwiki-open through commit 16f35a0 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to obtain directory listings for arbitrary filesystem paths via the local-repository structure endpoint. The endpoint accepts an absolute filesystem path parameter and returns a directory listing without authentication, as WIKI_AUTH_MODE defaults to false. An attacker can enumerate sensitive directory contents on the host system.

  • Aug 10, 2026XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform.CVE-2026-48048 · Other software · xwiki · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform. XWiki discovered that the patch for GHSA-5cf8-vrr8-8hjm was insufficient. Starting with version 6.2.1 and prior to versions 18.0.0RC1, 17.10.13, 17.4.9 and 16.10.17, with slightly modified parameters to the `LiveTableResults`, it is still possible to discover password hashes one bit at a time, so with 768 requests, the full password salt and hash can be retrieved of a user. The check for password (and email properties) has been adjusted in XWiki 18.0.0RC1, 17.10.13, 17.4.9 and 16.10.17. As a workaround, the patch can be applied manually to the wiki page `XWiki.LiveTableResultsMacros`.

  • Aug 7, 2026XWiki Platform WebJars API is a package for XWiki, a generic wiki platform.CVE-2026-48047 · Other software · xwiki · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

XWiki Platform WebJars API is a package for XWiki, a generic wiki platform. Starting with version 9.6-rc-1 and prior to versions 16.10.17, 17.4.9, and 17.10.3, a potential path traversal vulnerability allow an attacker who manages to get a malicious WebJar extension installed on the wiki to write arbitrary files. While the consequences could be severe like overriding configuration files and setting the superadmin password, the attack first requires that the attacker already has admin access to at least a subwiki to be able to install a malicious extension. Further, the attacker needs to publish a malicious extension in an extension repository that is configured in the instance. This vulnerability has been patched in XWiki 16.10.17, 17.4.9, 17.10.3, and 18.0.0RC1. XWiki is not aware of any workarounds except for being careful whom developers grant script and admin rights to.

  • Jul 10, 2026BetterDocs – AI Documentation, Knowledge Base, Docs, Wikis, FAQ with Chatbot: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-15104 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The BetterDocs – AI Documentation, Knowledge Base, Docs, Wikis, FAQ with Chatbot plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'lang' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.6.0 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Exploitation requires a supported multilingual plugin (WPML, Polylang, qTranslate, Weglot, or TranslatePress) to be active on the site, as the vulnerable code path is gated by Helper::is_multilingual_active().

The weDocs: AI Powered Knowledge Base, Docs, Documentation, Wiki & AI Chatbot plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to and including 2.3.0. This is due to a missing capability check on the do_migration() function registered as the wedocs_migrate_betterdocs_to_wedocs AJAX action, which performs no nonce verification via check_ajax_referer() and no capability check via current_user_can() before executing sensitive operations. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to trigger a full BetterDocs-to-weDocs data migration, creating and modifying 'docs' custom post type entries with attacker-controlled titles, updating site options, and deactivating the BetterDocs and BetterDocs Pro plugins via deactivate_plugins().
