  • Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clocksource/drivers/timer-sun4i: Advertise a real minimum delta sun4i_clkevt_next_event() CVE-2026-93219 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clocksource/drivers/timer-sun4i: Advertise a real minimum delta sun4i_clkevt_next_event() compensates for the timer stop/start synchronization delay by programming evt - TIMER_SYNC_TICKS into the hardware interval register. The clockevent device currently advertises TIMER_SYNC_TICKS as min_delta_ticks, so the clockevents core is allowed to call set_next_event() with evt == TIMER_SYNC_TICKS. That programs a zero-tick interval. With oneshot/highres/nohz timer operation this can leave the next event stuck, which was observed as a boot hang on Allwinner D1 after the clockevents core started reusing forced minimum-delta events. Advertise one extra tick instead, so the smallest event accepted by the core still programs at least one hardware tick after the synchronization compensation.

  • Sep 22, 2026In MISP, the __statisticsOrgs method in UsersController.php used the organization name directly as a file-system path component when checking for the existence CVE-2026-95701 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.1

In MISP, the __statisticsOrgs method in UsersController.php used the organization name directly as a file-system path component when checking for the existence of an organization logo image. The original code called file_exists() with a path constructed as APP . 'webroot' . DS . 'img' . DS . 'orgs' . DS . $k . '.png', where $k is the organization name. Because the referenced directory (app/webroot/img/orgs) no longer exists in current MISP deployments (org logos were relocated to files/img/orgs), the check was functionally dead and never triggered. However, the underlying pattern—concatenating an attacker-influenced organization name into a file path without sanitization—constitutes a path traversal weakness. An organization name containing directory traversal sequences (e.g., '../../../../etc/passwd') would, if the target directory existed, allow an authenticated user with the ability to create or rename an organization to probe for the existence of arbitrary files on the server.

  • Sep 21, 2026MISP's galaxy matrix statistics view (app/View/Users/statistics_galaxymatrix.ctp) renders the galaxy name directly into HTML output via sprintf() without any HTCVE-2026-94277 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.3

MISP's galaxy matrix statistics view (app/View/Users/statistics_galaxymatrix.ctp) renders the galaxy name directly into HTML output via sprintf() without any HTML encoding. An authenticated user holding the perm_galaxy_editor permission can create or modify a galaxy whose name contains arbitrary HTML or JavaScript markup. Because the value is interpolated verbatim into the page, any user who subsequently opens the galaxy matrix statistics page will have the embedded script executed in their browser context. This enables session hijacking, credential theft, data exfiltration, or the performance of arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim within the MISP application. Version affected: <2.5.47

  • Sep 17, 2026MISP contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Overmind theme's statistics views.CVE-2026-93296 · Other software · misp · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 8.5

MISP contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Overmind theme's statistics views. The event General card and the server/feed preview card constructed donut chart legend labels by directly concatenating object name or category keys into an innerHTML string without HTML-encoding. Because MISP object names are user-controllable by any authenticated user with sufficient permissions to create or modify such objects, an attacker could craft a name containing malicious markup. When any other user viewed the affected Overmind dashboard, the injected markup would be interpreted as live HTML/JavaScript in the victim's browser, executing in the context of the MISP application origin. This could allow session hijacking, data exfiltration, or arbitrary actions performed on behalf of the victim.  The vulnerability requires the attacker to have low-level authenticated access to create or rename an object whose name is rendered in the legend, and the victim to view the Overmind event or server preview page. No special browser conditions or race conditions are required.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: fix off-by-one in TXF key sanitiser iwl_mvm_frob_txf_key_iter() tracks the last matched byte position in loop variable 'i'. When a full key match is found (match == keylen), 'i' points at the last byte of the matched key. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_sync: free the advertising instance on the failure and cancel paths adv_timeout_expire() hands a kmalloc()ed instance byte to hci_cmd_sync_queue() with a NULL destroy callback, and only adv_timeout_expire_sync() frees it. That leaks on two paths: - the return value is not checked, and hci_cmd_sync_queue() does not take ownership when it fails (-ENETDOWN, -ENODEV, -ENOMEM); - a cancelled entry is not released, as _hci_cmd_sync_cancel_entry() does not free entry->data when there is no destroy callback. hci_cmd_sync_clear() cancels every pending entry when the controller is unregistered. Free the buffer from a destroy callback, and in the caller when the entry could not be queued at all.

  • Sep 14, 2026garminconnect is a Python 3 API wrapper for Garmin Connect that retrieves statistics and manages activities.CVE-2026-54447 · Other software · cyberjunky · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4

garminconnect is a Python 3 API wrapper for Garmin Connect that retrieves statistics and manages activities. Prior to 0.3.5, garminconnect/client.py Client.dump creates the OAuth token directory and garmin_tokens.json without explicit owner-only modes, so a permissive umask such as 022 can leave the directory mode at 0755 and the token file mode at 0644. garmin_tokens.json contains di_refresh_token, and another unprivileged user on a shared Linux or macOS host can read the token and obtain persistent access to the victim's Garmin Connect account, including health, fitness, activity, and device data. The Garmin.login tokenstore path is affected, and a pre-existing loosely permissioned token file remains exposed until rewritten or manually restricted. This issue is fixed in version 0.3.5.

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: cap advertised IP tunnel headroom IP tunnel devices derive their advertised needed_heCVE-2026-80978 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: cap advertised IP tunnel headroom IP tunnel devices derive their advertised needed_headroom from lower output devices. A stack of user-created devices can make the derived value larger than the 16-bit skb header offsets can represent. Once IP output reserves it, skb head expansion can wrap those offsets. The runtime transmit path already caps a growing needed_headroom at 512. Apply the same cap when tunnel configuration publishes needed_headroom derived from a lower output device. Capping the advertised value is safe: IP tunnel transmit still expands the skb when a packet needs more headroom. A nonsensical stacked configuration can therefore incur an extra reallocation, but it cannot publish an unbounded reservation to upper layers.

  • Sep 9, 2026MantisBT is an open source bug tracker.CVE-2026-47156 · Other software · mantisbt · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

MantisBT is an open source bug tracker. Versions 2.28.3 and earlier contain a critical authentication bypass in the SOAP API's mci_check_login() function. Any user knowing any valid cookie_string can authenticate as any other user (knowing their username), including the administrator, without knowing the target's password. The vulnerability is exploitable with zero prior access on default MantisBT installations because self-registration is enabled by default ($g_allow_signup = ON). A self-registered user can use their own cookie_string (readable from their browser's MANTIS_STRING_COOKIE cookie after login) to impersonate the administrator via the SOAP API. The REST API is NOT affected. The REST API's AuthMiddleware derives the username server-side from the API token or session cookie, so the username cannot be spoofed. The Web UI is NOT affected. The Web UI authenticates via PHP session cookies (PHPSESSID) and validates the MANTIS_STRING_COOKIE against the logged-in user through auth_is_cookie_valid(). The username is derived server-side from the cookie, not supplied by the client. Version 2.28.4 contains a patch. No known workarounds are available.
