In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/register: don't exempt disabled rings from task restrictions A ring created with IORING_SETUP_R_DISABLED is exempt from its register restrictions until it is enabled. This lets the creator register the restrictions and then enable the ring with IORING_REGISTER_ENABLE_RINGS, whether or not that opcode is in the allowed set. Since commit ed82f35b926b ("io_uring: allow registration of per-task restrictions"), a ring also inherits restrictions from the task that creates it, and the same exemption applies to those. A task whose register opcodes are restricted can therefore create a disabled ring, issue any register opcode on it, and then enable it. Mark rings whose restrictions were inherited from the task, and keep checking register opcodes for them while the ring is disabled. Enabling such a ring now requires IORING_REGISTER_ENABLE_RINGS to be in the task's allowed set. Per-ring restrictions registered on a disabled ring work as before. A server-side template injection vulnerability exists in the Twig theme rendering sandbox of Mautic. The sandbox introduced to restrict user-uploaded theme templates (the fix for GHSA-9fx4-7cmj-47vg) does not fully enforce its restrictions, allowing a crafted theme template to escape the sandbox. An authenticated user with the core:themes:create permission can upload a malicious theme whose template is later rendered, resulting in execution of arbitrary code on the server with the privileges of the web server process. This allows the attacker to execute operating system commands, read server-side files including configuration files and database credentials, write files, and reach internal services. In default installations the core:themes:create permission is granted to the Administrator role, and in multi-operator setups it may be delegated to other roles. This is an incomplete fix for GHSA-9fx4-7cmj-47vg.

MISP mispguard is a security filtering proxy that inspects and blocks MISP feed responses based on configured rules. The process_feed_response method in src/mispguard.py was responsible for evaluating feed responses before they reached the MISP instance. The original logic only explicitly handled the case where the HTTP status code was not 200 by passing the response through without filtering, on the assumption that non-200 responses would not carry ingestible event data. However, HTTP 2xx status codes other than 200 (such as 201 Created, 203 Non-Authoritative Information, and 206 Partial Content) were also passed through unfiltered. Because MISP may still ingest content from these responses, a malicious or compromised feed host could return a 203 or 206 status code with arbitrary content, effectively bypassing all of mispguard's filtering rules. This allowed unfiltered or malicious feed data to be ingested into the MISP instance, undermining the security controls that mispguard is designed to enforce. HTTP::Server::PSGI versions before 1.0056 for Perl allow a single request to crash the server by declaring a large Content-Length. The request body is read with sysread() calls sized by the remaining Content-Length. Perl grows the read buffer to the requested length before any data arrives, so the server tries to allocate as much memory as the client declares. A remote attacker can send one request with a large Content-Length and a few body bytes, and perl exits with an out-of-memory error before the application is called. HTTP::Server::PSGI runs as a single process, so the server stays down until restarted.

The chunked body decoder keeps each chunk in memory until the whole chunk and its CRLF have arrived, and sets no limit on the length of a chunk-size line. A client that declares a huge chunk size and streams data, or sends a chunk-size line that never ends, grows the buffer for as long as it keeps sending. A remote attacker can exhaust worker memory with a single connection.

Attackers can supply a crafted packed stream, such as a malicious .sla file, to inject attributes into the decompiler's input or crash the decompiler process.

MLflow is an open source AI engineering platform for agents, large language models, and machine learning models. From 3.12.0rc0 until 3.17.0, the scorer invoke, register, and GenAI evaluate endpoints, including unauthenticated POST /ajax-api/3.0/mlflow/scorer/invoke, accept serialized third-party scorer data that Scorer.model_validate_json resolves using a module-path allowlist without constraining the selected class or its constructor arguments. When optional trulens and trulens-providers-litellm packages are installed, an attacker can select mlflow.genai.scorers.trulens, choose a model URI outside MLflow's native provider registry so execution uses the LiteLLM fallback, and supply api_base and api_key values that cause the server to send an outbound request to an attacker-chosen or internal host with attacker-controlled headers and body. The vulnerable deserialization occurs before a tracking-store lookup or job submission. This issue is fixed in version 3.17.0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: ctxfi: Fix memory leakage when clearing DAO input mappers Commit e576e7843c0d ("ALSA: ctxfi: Simplify dao_clear_{left,right}_input() functions") centralized the DAO input mapper clearing logic in dao_clear_input(), but omitted the kfree() calls. It removes the mapper entries from the list and sets their pointers to NULL without freeing the allocated array. This leaks memory each time dao_clear_input() is called. Store the base pointer of the allocation before clearing the mapper entries and free the array after removing entries from the list.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: strparser: make sure __strp_recv isn't running before tearing down the parser The comment above strp_done() claims that if strp is stopped, strp_recv will no longer be called. That's only true if the caller has a mechanism (eg locking) to guarantee that strp_recv() calls that started before strp_stop() have completed by the time we call strp_done(). This adds a dummy lock_sock/release_sock pair to guarantee that any in-flight strp_recv() (which runs under either bh_lock_sock or lock_sock, depending if it's called from ->sk_data_ready or strp_work) has completed. Only espintcp can be affected by this race condition, but this patch makes sure no future user of strp can have the bug. This could crash on strp->sk ("general mode" of strp), but this mode has been here for 9 years and has never been used. It'll be gone soon, no point worrying about it. Switch the stopped/paused/etc bits to u8's to avoid races between strp_stop() and strp_pause/unpause(). A reproducer has been published and turns the possible UAF into an exploit [1].

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gve: fix XSK buffer leak when rings are stopped GVE does not free XSK buffers when resetting ring state as a part of stopping queues. This causes all XSK buffers which are posted to the NIC to be leaked. Free XSK buffers attached to an allocated buf_state when stopping rings. This issue was hit in production.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/net: populate CONNECT filter fields for 24-byte sockaddr_in6 io_connect_bpf_populate() fills connect.port and connect.v6_addr for AF_INET6 only when addr_len >= sizeof(struct sockaddr_in6), i.e. 28 bytes. The IPv6 connect paths accept SIN6_LEN_RFC2133 (24 bytes), which already holds sin6_port and sin6_addr. io_connect() passes addr_len to the socket layer unchanged. At addr_len 24 the filter sees family AF_INET6 with port and address zero, while the kernel connects to the real destination. A filter that denies an IPv6 port or address is bypassed. Denying connect.port == P rejects [::1]:P with -EACCES at addr_len 28 but connects at addr_len 24. Use SIN6_LEN_RFC2133 as the threshold. sin6_scope_id stays zero when absent. The threshold mismatch was found by an AI coding assistant (Claude Code) comparing this hook against the net/ipv6 length checks on my instructions; it also drafted the reproducer and this patch. I verified the bypass and the fix in a VM on 7.3-rc6 and that 7.2 has the same code.
