Sep 25, 2026Modula Image Gallery – Photo Grid & Video Gallery: Arbitrary file deletionCVE-2026-92713 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The Modula Image Gallery – Photo Grid & Video Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the upload_image function in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server. The path restriction to wp-content/uploads is not an effective ownership boundary, as all user attachment files reside within that tree, and Authors trivially satisfy the edit_post check on their own galleries.

Sep 25, 2026Modula Image Gallery – Photo Grid & Video Gallery: Unauthorized disclosure of private gallery contentsCVE-2026-89406 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Modula Image Gallery – Photo Grid & Video Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized disclosure of private gallery contents in versions up to, and including, 3.0.1. This is due to the Modula_Meta::add_metas() function being hooked to wp_head on every frontend request and looking up any post via get_post( $_GET['modula_gallery_id'] ) without verifying the gallery's post_status or the requester's capability to read it — the gallery-side input guard is bugged (empty('modula_gallery_id') tests a nonempty string literal instead of the GET parameter, so it is always false), the only object validation is a post_type === 'modula-gallery' check, and no is_user_logged_in()/current_user_can('read_post', $gallery_id) check is performed. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to enumerate private modula-gallery posts and their member attachments and recover the image's title, description, dimensions, and original upload URL via Open Graph/Twitter meta tags emitted in the response, which then allows direct unauthenticated download of the original private image bytes.

The EmbedVideo Extension is a MediaWiki extension which adds a parser function called #ev and various parser tags for embedding video clips from various video sharing services. Prior to 4.1.0, with $wgEmbedVideoRequireConsent disabled (not the default), the urls for videos are passed into an iframe src attribute without sanitization. Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: media: tegra-video: fix of_node_put() on VIP parse errors tegra_vip_channel_of_paCVE-2026-93223 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: media: tegra-video: fix of_node_put() on VIP parse errors tegra_vip_channel_of_parse() initializes np from dev->of_node without taking a reference, but its error paths drop one through the err_node_put label. This underflows the refcount of the VIP device's OF node when endpoint parsing fails on a malformed device tree. The only reference the function takes on np is the success-path of_node_get() stored in vip->chan.of_node, and that one is already released by the tegra_vip_init() error path and by tegra_vip_exit(). Return errors directly instead of jumping to the bogus cleanup label.

Sep 23, 2026Streamlink is a CLI utility which pipes video streams from various services into a video player.CVE-2026-92164 · Other software · streamlink · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Streamlink is a CLI utility which pipes video streams from various services into a video player. Prior to 8.6.0, HTTPSession mounts a FileAdapter for the file scheme and inherits redirect handling from requests.Session without rejecting cross-protocol redirects. A remote server controlling an HTTP or HTTPS URL reached by Streamlink can return a redirect to a local file URL, causing HTTPSession to read the local file and return its contents to the response consumer. This bypasses the direct file URL checks added for HLS and DASH content because the manifest contains an ordinary network URL and the scheme transition occurs later during fetch handling. The flaw applies to every request made through HTTPSession, and a segment fetch can place the local file contents into stream output. This issue is fixed in version 8.6.0.

Sep 22, 2026Frigate is an open source network video recorder.CVE-2026-75608 · Other software · blakeblackshear · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7
Frigate is an open source network video recorder. Prior to 0.18.0, the prefix-matched location /api/go2rtc/api in docker/main/rootfs/usr/local/nginx/conf/nginx.conf requires authentication but does not require an administrator role for GET requests, exposing the proxied go2rtc API to viewer users. An authenticated viewer can request the streams, config, log, and stack subpaths to obtain internal addresses, configuration paths, application logs, goroutine stack data, and RTSP stream URLs that may contain camera credentials. Non-GET methods remain blocked by limit_except GET. This issue is fixed in version 0.18.0.

Opencast is a free, open-source platform to support the management of educational audio and video content. Prior to versions 19.7 and 20.2, the default security configuration in etc/security/mh_default_org.xml accepts a client-selected JSESSIONID from the ;jsessionid= URL path parameter and does not replace it when the victim logs in. An unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted link to a victim whose browser has no active Opencast session cookie, wait for the victim to authenticate, and then reuse the known identifier as the victim's authenticated session. Sep 17, 2026WWBN AVideo through commit e01e41ecc (no patched version available) contains a broken access control flaw in objects/userVerifyEmail.php.CVE-2026-92915 · Other software · WWBN · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
WWBN AVideo through commit e01e41ecc (no patched version available) contains a broken access control flaw in objects/userVerifyEmail.php. The script disables the login requirement ($global['ignoreUserMustBeLoggedIn'] = 1), takes users_id directly from the query string, and calls User::sendVerificationLink() with no session requirement, no CSRF/global token, no relationship check between caller and target, and no enforceRateLimit() call. The only intended throttle is keyed to the caller's own session, so cookie-less requests are never limited. An unauthenticated remote attacker can therefore cause an arbitrary number of verification emails to be sent to any account ID, and can enumerate accounts and their verification status from the three distinct JSON responses ("Verification Sent", "Already verified", "Unknown error"). In addition, createVerificationCode() invokes $user->setRecoverPass() and saves the user, so each anonymous request writes a live password-recovery token onto the targeted account; that token is embedded in base64 in the verification link emailed to the account owner and is accepted by objects/userRecoverPassSave.json.php as the credential for setting a new passwor

Sep 17, 2026AVideo through commit c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 uses a cryptographically weak pseudo-random number generator when creating account activation / lCVE-2026-92913 · Other software · WWBN · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.1
AVideo through commit c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 uses a cryptographically weak pseudo-random number generator when creating account activation / login pairing codes. getRandomCode() in objects/functions.php derives the code entirely from uniqid() (sprintf('%08x%05x', seconds, microseconds)) with a single non-CSPRNG rand() character used only as padding, reducing the code space to roughly 36 x 10^6 (~2^25) values for a known generation second. Because plugin/API/set.json.php?APIName=login_code can be called without authentication, it also serves as an oracle for the server's exact microtime. An unauthenticated remote attacker who guesses a valid, unexpired code (codes expire after 10 minutes) can redeem it at plugin/API/get.json.php?APIName=login_code to obtain the target account's email address and a User::getUserHash(users_id, '+1 year') value, a credential accepted in place of the account password for one year, resulting in account takeover. No patched version is available.

AVideo through 29.0 (current revision e01e41ecc) contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability. The unauthenticated view-counter endpoint objects/videoAddViewCount.json.php reaches VideoStatistic::save(), which writes the caller's User-Agent (via getUserAgentInfo(), which returns unrecognized agent strings verbatim) directly into the `app` column of the videos_statistics table without invoking the sanitizing setter setApp(); normalizeApp() only truncates the value to 45 characters. The video owner's and administrator's statistics page (view/videoViewsInfo.php) renders this field in a DataTables 1.12.1 column with an unescaped renderer, and DataTables assigns cell content using innerHTML, so attacker-supplied HTML is parsed and executed in the privileged user's authenticated session when the statistics page is viewed. Sep 16, 2026AVideo (WWBN/AVideo) through 29.0 (commit e01e41ecc) is vulnerable to cross-site request forgery.CVE-2026-92582 · Other software · WWBN · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
AVideo (WWBN/AVideo) through 29.0 (commit e01e41ecc) is vulnerable to cross-site request forgery. objects/videoAddNew.json.php disables AVideo's automatic CSRF guard ($global['skipAutoCSRFCheck']) and the untrusted-request check ($global['bypassSameDomainCheck']) merely because 'user' and 'pass' parameters are present in the request; the values are never validated and are read from $_REQUEST, so an attacker can supply them in the query string of a cross-site request. Because User::loginFromRequestIfNotLogged() returns immediately when a session already exists, a victim who is authenticated by cookie satisfies the check while the attacker-supplied credentials are discarded. An attacker who lures an authenticated user with upload rights to visit a crafted page can therefore submit cross-origin requests that modify video records — including ownership transfer (setUsers_id), deletion of user-group access restrictions, can_download, can_share, only_for_paid, video_password, rating, status, creation date, and view count. For a victim with administrator or Permissions::canAdminVideos() rights, any video on the site can be altered, including removing group restrictions from private content

Sep 16, 2026In AVideo through 29.0, the CloneSite plugin is vulnerable to stored OS command injection.CVE-2026-92580 · Other software · WWBN · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
In AVideo through 29.0, the CloneSite plugin is vulnerable to stored OS command injection. In plugin/CloneSite/cloneClient.json.php (line ~270) the stored SSH password is substituted into the command string `sshpass -p '{password}' rsync ...` with a plain str_replace and no escaping, so a single quote in the password breaks out of the quoted word and injects arbitrary shell. The password is written through the admin-only endpoint objects/pluginAddDataObject.json.php, whose only CSRF defense (isUntrustedRequest()/forbidIfIsUntrustedRequest()) is a no-op when the request source appears to be loopback — as happens behind a same-host TLS-terminating reverse proxy with $global['trustedProxies'] unset — or when an attacker-controlled application is co-hosted on the same hostname; on HTTPS the session cookie is issued with SameSite=None, so a cross-site POST carries it. An unauthenticated remote attacker can therefore lure an authenticated administrator into planting a malicious password (and an attacker-controlled cloneSiteURL), after which the plugin's documented crontab entry executes the injected command with no further administrator action, as the crontab owner (commonly root or www-

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: airspy: use vb2_video_unregister_device() on disconnect to fix NULL deref airspy_disconnect() clears s->udev under v4l2_lock, but airspy_stop_streaming() unconditionally calls airspy_ctrl_msg() and airspy_free_stream_bufs() afterwards. If a streaming user closes the device after disconnect, stop_streaming() runs and dereferences the NULL s->udev: airspy_stop_streaming() airspy_ctrl_msg(s, CMD_RECEIVER_MODE, 0, 0, NULL, 0) usb_sndctrlpipe(s->udev, 0) /* NULL deref */ airspy_free_stream_bufs(s) usb_free_coherent(s->udev, ...) /* NULL deref */ The airspy driver uses vb2_fop_release() in its file_operations, so replace video_unregister_device(&s->vdev) with vb2_video_unregister_device(&s->vdev) and move it before clearing s->udev. vb2_video_unregister_device() releases the vb2 queue, which synchronously runs airspy_stop_streaming() if streaming is active, so the URBs, coherent DMA stream buffers and the hardware stop control message all execute while s->udev is still valid. vb2_video_unregister_device() locks vdev->queue->lock (vb_queue_lock) internally, and stop_streaming(

Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: rtl2832_sdr: use vb2_video_unregister_device() on remove to fix DMA leak rtl2832_sdCVE-2026-89881 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: rtl2832_sdr: use vb2_video_unregister_device() on remove to fix DMA leak rtl2832_sdr_remove() runs on USB disconnect and clears dev->udev to NULL before any pending streaming teardown has run. When user space later closes its file descriptor, vb2 calls rtl2832_sdr_stop_streaming() which in turn calls rtl2832_sdr_free_stream_bufs(). That helper releases each coherent buffer with: usb_free_coherent(dev->udev, dev->buf_size, dev->buf_list[dev->buf_num], dev->dma_addr[dev->buf_num]); usb_free_coherent() returns immediately when its dev argument is NULL, so every DMA stream buffer that was live at disconnect is silently leaked. The URBs allocated in rtl2832_sdr_alloc_urbs() outlive the device for the same reason. The rtl2832_sdr driver uses vb2_fop_release() in its file_operations, so replace video_unregister_device(&dev->vdev) with vb2_video_unregister_device(&dev->vdev) and move it before clearing dev->udev. vb2_video_unregister_device() releases the vb2 queue, which synchronously runs rtl2832_sdr_stop_streaming() if streaming is active, so URBs and coherent

Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: video-i2c: fix kthread error pointer left in kthread_vid_cap on failure kthread_runCVE-2026-89871 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: video-i2c: fix kthread error pointer left in kthread_vid_cap on failure kthread_run() returns an ERR_PTR on failure, not NULL. When start_streaming() fails, data->kthread_vid_cap is left holding this error pointer instead of being cleared. This causes two subsequent bugs: 1. A future call to start_streaming() sees a non-NULL kthread_vid_cap and returns 0 (success) immediately, without actually starting the capture thread. 2. A call to stop_streaming() checks 'kthread_vid_cap == NULL' which is false for an error pointer, and proceeds to call kthread_stop() on the error pointer, leading to a kernel crash. Fix this by resetting kthread_vid_cap to NULL on failure before jumping to the error path.

Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: zoran: Avoid freeing a registered video_device twice zoran_init_video_device() instCVE-2026-89870 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: zoran: Avoid freeing a registered video_device twice zoran_init_video_device() installs zoran_vdev_release() as the video_device release callback through zoran_template. After video_register_device() succeeds, video_unregister_device() drops the registered video_device reference and the V4L2 core eventually invokes that release callback, which kfree()s the video_device. zoran_exit_video_devices() called video_unregister_device() and then kfree(zr->video_dev), so device teardown could free the same video_device twice. Remove the direct kfree() and clear the cached pointer after unregistering. The pre-registration failure path keeps its manual free because the video_device was not registered there. This issue was found by a static analysis checker and confirmed by manual source review.

motionEye (mEye) is an online interface for a piece of software called "motion," which is a video surveillance program with motion detection. Prior to 0.44.0, the ActionHandler.post() method in motioneye/handlers/action.py lacks the BaseHandler.auth() decorator, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to send requests to /action/<camera_id>/<action>. The endpoint can trigger snapshot, record_start, and record_stop actions. When an administrator has configured action scripts, the same endpoint can invoke PTZ controls, alarm actions, lighting actions, and other predefined commands, and configured remote motionEye cameras can allow server-side requests to the remote camera service. This issue is fixed in version 0.44.0.

motionEye (mEye) is an online interface for a piece of software called "motion," which is a video surveillance program with motion detection. Prior to 0.44.0, motionEye accepts the client-controlled meye_username and meye_password_hash cookies as authentication material without server-side session validation. An unauthenticated attacker who knows a target username and corresponding hash can set the cookies manually or cause them to be loaded by submitting blank credentials through the switch-user authentication flow, after which the server authenticates the attacker as that user. The administrator username and password-hash value are stored in /etc/motioneye/motion.conf, which is globally readable by default, allowing a local shell user to obtain reusable administrator credential material. Successful impersonation can enable account lockout, password changes and persistence, data enumeration, data destruction, and data exfiltration. This issue is fixed in version 0.44.0.
