Sep 23, 2026Paytium: Mollie payment forms & donations: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-18467 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The Paytium: Mollie payment forms & donations plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.3. The 5.0.3 patch introduced a wp_hash()/hash_equals() signature gate on the pt-paytium-user-data field, but left a second filter — pt_cf_checkout_meta(), registered on the pt_meta_values hook after the signed builder — that copies every $_POST['pt_form_field'][*] key verbatim into the payment meta array without any signature verification; this allows the pt-user-role value it copies to overwrite the signed path's output, after which paytium_user_data_processing() reads the persisted _pt-user-role post meta and passes it directly as the role argument to wp_insert_user(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register a new WordPress account with the administrator role and fully take over the site. Exploitation requires submitting a payment through a publicly-exposed [paytium] shortcode form and completing the resulting payment flow, after which the attacker can seize the new administrator account via the standard lost-password flow on their supplied email address.

Sep 23, 2026InvoiceShelf is an open-source web & mobile app that helps track expenses, payments and create professional invoices and estimates.CVE-2026-55610 · Other software · InvoiceShelf · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
InvoiceShelf is an open-source web & mobile app that helps track expenses, payments and create professional invoices and estimates. Prior to version 2.4.1, in InvoiceShelf's multi-company installations, any user who is an Owner of one company can read and overwrite any user account in any other company on the same installation. `GET/PUT /api/v1/users/{user}` resolves the target `User` by global primary key, and `UserPolicy` checks only that the requester owns their own header-company — it never verifies that the target user belongs to that company. This allows cross-tenant disclosure of user data and full account takeover (email/password overwrite + company re-assignment). Version 2.4.1 fixes the issue.

Sep 22, 2026mppx is a TypeScript interface for machine payments protocol.CVE-2026-63628 · Other software · wevm · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
mppx is a TypeScript interface for machine payments protocol. Prior to 0.8.2, the fee-payer cosigning path in src/tempo/internal/fee-payer.ts copied a client-supplied access_list from a 0x78 FeePayerEnvelope without validating its length or contents. Because EIP-2930 access-list entries consume intrinsic gas even when the listed addresses are never used, a client could add fabricated address-only entries and cause the server fee_payer wallet to pay unnecessary transaction fees. The demonstrated 180-entry list remained within the 500,000 gas policy cap, 16 KB header limit, and RPC simulation budget while increasing the fee by approximately 9.4 times. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.2.

Sep 22, 2026mppx is a TypeScript interface for machine payments protocol.CVE-2026-63627 · Other software · wevm · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
mppx is a TypeScript interface for machine payments protocol. Prior to 0.8.2, FeePayerPolicy in src/tempo/internal/fee-payer.ts used decodeFunctionData to validate fee-sponsored calldata but did not reject trailing bytes. A client could append nonzero padding that increased intrinsic calldata gas while gas_limit and max_fee_per_gas remained within policy caps, causing the server fee_payer wallet to pay substantially more than the decoded transaction required. The tested 16 KB header limit bounded the demonstrated padding to about 5,500 bytes and produced approximately five times the normal transaction fee. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.2.

Sep 22, 2026Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input in ZenHive mpp allows a client holding an open payment channel to obtain paid resources without being chargedCVE-2026-89420 · Other software · ZenHive · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 7.1
Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input in ZenHive mpp allows a client holding an open payment channel to obtain paid resources without being charged. MPP.Session.Actions.accept_voucher/3 in lib/mpp/session/actions.ex treats a voucher whose cumulativeAmount equals the channel's already-accepted cumulative amount as an idempotent success, returning the channel unchanged without calling maybe_spend/2. The credential verifies, the protected resource is served, and spent and units stay where they were. Because the server issues a fresh challenge per request and the credential replay store keys on challenge id and payload, the same signed voucher can be re-presented under every new challenge, so one paid voucher yields an unbounded number of paid units. The path is reachable from any method built on MPP.Session.Method through the Plug, MCP, JSON-RPC and WebSocket transports. This issue affects mpp: from 0.14.0 before 0.16.2.

Sep 19, 2026Payment Gateway of Stripe for WooCommerce: Improper Verification of Cryptographic SignatureCVE-2026-9832 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The Payment Gateway of Stripe for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.8. This is due to the publicly accessible `woocommerce_api_wt_stripe` webhook endpoint (`EH_Stripe_Webhook_Handler::handle()`) wrapping the only call to `\Stripe\Webhook::constructEvent()` inside an `if (!empty($endpoint_secret))` guard that is never entered on default installations — because the `eh_stripe_webhook_secret` option is empty after a fresh plugin install — causing the raw, attacker-controlled POST body to be decoded and processed as a fully trusted Stripe event without any signature verification, authentication, or authorization. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to send forged Stripe webhook events to manipulate WooCommerce order statuses, including marking unpaid orders as paid or completed via `payment_complete()`, forcing legitimate orders into a failed state, fabricating dispute notifications, and injecting forged refund events. This vulnerability is only exploitable when the Stripe webhook signing secret has not been configured by an administrator; once a valid signing sec

Paymenter is a free and open-source webshop solution for management of hosting services. Prior to 1.5.7, app/Livewire/Services/Upgrade.php::doUpgrade() relies on Service::upgradable to check for a pending service upgrade and later executes $credit->increment('amount', abs($price)) without DB::transaction or lockForUpdate() spanning those operations. Sep 14, 2026Pay is a payments engine for Ruby on Rails 6.0 and higher.CVE-2026-70658 · Other software · pay-rails · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4
Pay is a payments engine for Ruby on Rails 6.0 and higher. Prior to 11.6.2, Pay::Webhooks::PaddleBillingController#valid_signature? in app/controllers/pay/webhooks/paddle_billing_controller.rb compares the computed 64-character SHA-256 HMAC with the attacker-controlled h1 token from the Paddle-Signature header using Ruby String#==. An unauthenticated remote attacker who can repeatedly submit requests to /pay/webhooks/paddle_billing and obtain sufficiently precise timing measurements can infer matching digest prefixes and recover a valid signature. A forged accepted webhook is enqueued through Pay::Webhooks::ProcessJob and can cause a host application to update billing state, provision paid features, record refunds, or trigger customer notifications.
