Sep 26, 2026Adminer 4.16.0 through 6.0.1 contain a pre-authentication Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the optional Elasticsearch driver (plugins/driversCVE-2026-100696 · Other software · vrana · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
Adminer 4.16.0 through 6.0.1 contain a pre-authentication Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the optional Elasticsearch driver (plugins/drivers/elastic.php), fixed in 6.0.2. Because adminer/include/auth.inc.php invokes Driver::connect() before the login result is validated, an unauthenticated attacker who submits crafted auth[server], auth[username], and auth[password] parameters can cause the Adminer server to issue an HTTP GET request (via get_url()/file_get_contents()) to an arbitrary reachable host and port. The driver validates only general server syntax and does not block loopback, private, link-local, or other reserved addresses; if no port is given it appends the default 9200, and Adminer's generic port check rejects ports below 1024. Selected JSON error fields from non-2xx Elasticsearch-style responses, as well as connection failures, are rendered on the login page, providing a port-scanning oracle and enabling internal network reconnaissance and service fingerprinting. Exploitation requires that the optional Elasticsearch driver be explicitly deployed (e.g., via the adminer/elastic.php template or an adminer_object() configuration; it is not loaded in a d

Sep 26, 2026Hugo versions 0.75.0 through 0.165.x contain a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability: the syntax highlighter does not escape the `lineAnchors` option beforeCVE-2026-100691 · Other software · gohugoio · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.1
Hugo versions 0.75.0 through 0.165.x contain a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability: the syntax highlighter does not escape the `lineAnchors` option before passing it to Chroma, which writes the value verbatim into the `id` and `href` attributes of the generated line-number markup. A crafted `lineAnchors` value supplied as a Markdown code fence attribute (or passed to the `highlight` template function) results in unescaped HTML in the rendered page, allowing arbitrary JavaScript to execute in the browsers of visitors to the generated site. This affects sites that build and publish Markdown from untrusted contributors; Hugo's security model otherwise considers content trusted input. Fixed in 0.166.0, where the `lineAnchors` value is HTML-escaped before being passed to Chroma.

Sep 25, 2026The convert.base64-encode, convert.quoted-printable-encode and convert.quoted-printable-decode stream filters accept a line-break-chars option whose length is tCVE-2026-92842 · Websites & servers · PHP Group · reported by security@php.netMedium 5.9
The convert.base64-encode, convert.quoted-printable-encode and convert.quoted-printable-decode stream filters accept a line-break-chars option whose length is tracked separately from the string itself. The filter constructors duplicate the value with pestrdup(), which stops at the first NUL byte, while keeping the original length. When the filter later emits a line break it copies the recorded length out of the truncated allocation, reading past its end and placing adjacent heap bytes into the filter output.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: fix reversed sequence option serialization hton_seq() expects the host-order source CVE-2026-98078 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 4.4
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: fix reversed sequence option serialization hton_seq() expects the host-order source first and the unaligned network-order destination second. The version 1 sync sender passes these arguments in reverse for both sequence blocks. This leaves 24 bytes of the kmalloc-backed message unwritten. It may disclose stale heap data and replace the live connection sequence state with values read from the buffer. Pass the connection sequence state as the source and the message payload as the destination for both blocks.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Take trace_array reference when opening a tracer options file When a tracer option file is opened, it is passed a descriptor that points to an element on the trace_array's topts array. This element has information to find the trace array and other information. It uses this element to take a reference of the trace_array so that the trace_array does not get removed while this file is opened. Unfortunately, there's a race condition where the element itself could be freed by the removal of the instance the trace_array represents causing a use-after-free as this element that is used to find the trace_array to increment its reference counter is also freed when the instance is removed. To solve this, add a trace_array_tracer_options_get() helper function that will take the address of the element that is passed to the open function by the inode->i_private pointer and search all the trace_arrays under a lock to find the one that the element's address is in the range of the trace_arrays topts array elements. When a match happens, that trace_array's reference would be increased. Note, there's a race where if an

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bridge: use option bits for CFM/MRP frame handlers CFM and MRP register a global br_fCVE-2026-97615 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bridge: use option bits for CFM/MRP frame handlers CFM and MRP register a global br_frame_type whose hlist_node is linked into the per-bridge frame_type_list when the first MEP/MRP instance is created. Enabling the protocol on multiple bridges therefore inserts the same node into multiple lists. Unregistering it on one bridge then corrupts list state belonging to another. These handlers can only be installed once per bridge, and they are uncommon. Track their per-bridge enable state with net_bridge option bits, which already live on the Rx hot cache line, and dispatch the matching handler directly from the receive path. Check both bits together first as an unlikely case. Remove the generic frame_type_list and br_frame_type helpers, which have had no other users since CFM and MRP were added. That shrinks struct net_bridge by 8 bytes and drops the list walk from the fast path. When neither protocol is compiled in, BR_CFM_MRP_OPTS is 0 and the compiler prunes the branch.

Sep 25, 2026Optima Express IDX: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-93901 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.3
The Optima Express IDX plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 8.7.5. This is due to the `provisionBlogCredentials()` function in `iHomefinderAdmin.php` being reachable via the `wp_ajax_nopriv_ihf_clear_cache` AJAX action — through the call chain `iHomefinderAjaxHandler::clearCache()` → `activateAuthenticationToken()` → `getAuthenticationInfo()` → `provisionBlogCredentials()` — with no capability check, nonce verification, or ownership validation, and the function unconditionally calling `$user->set_role('author')` on whichever WordPress account matches the hard-coded login `optima-express` via `get_user_by('login', 'optima-express')`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to escalate a pre-registered `optima-express` account to the Author role, gaining `publish_posts`, `upload_files`, and `edit_published_posts` capabilities, including access to the plugin's own `/wp-json/optima-express/v1/blog-post` REST endpoint. Exploitation requires open user registration to be enabled on the target site, and the attacker must register the `optima-express` username before the plugin has had the opportunity to provision that

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rds: filter RDS_INFO_* getsockopt by caller's netns The RDS_INFO_* family of getsockopt(2) options reads several file-scope global lists that are not per-netns: rds_sock_info / rds6_sock_info, rds_sock_inc_info / rds6_sock_inc_info -> rds_sock_list rds_tcp_tc_info / rds6_tcp_tc_info -> rds_tcp_tc_list rds_conn_info / rds6_conn_info, rds_conn_message_info_cmn (for the *_SEND_MESSAGES and *_RETRANS_MESSAGES variants), rds_for_each_conn_info (for RDS_INFO_IB_CONNECTIONS) -> rds_conn_hash[] The handlers do not filter by the caller's network namespace. rds_info_getsockopt() has no netns or capable() check, and rds_create() has no capable() check, so AF_RDS is reachable from an unprivileged user namespace. As a result, an unprivileged caller in a fresh user_ns plus netns can read the bound address and sock inode of every RDS socket on the host, the peer address of incoming messages on every RDS socket on the host, the peer address and TCP sequence numbers of every rds-tcp connection on the host, and the peer address and RDS sequence numbe

Sep 21, 2026github.com/temporalio/ringpop-go enforces configured LabelOptions limits when an application changes the local node's labels, but affected versions do not applyCVE-2026-65654 · Other software · Temporal Technologies, Inc. · reported by security@temporal.ioHigh 8.7
github.com/temporalio/ringpop-go enforces configured LabelOptions limits when an application changes the local node's labels, but affected versions do not apply those limits to label maps received in SWIM membership changes. A network peer that can reach a live Ringpop TChannel listener can repeatedly submit changes for distinct member addresses containing label keys, values, or counts that exceed the receiver's configured limits. Accepted labels are retained in the member list and disseminated to peers, allowing memory and gossip-bandwidth consumption to exceed configured bounds and potentially making the hosting process unavailable. Sep 19, 2026WP Optimizer: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-6295 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.9
The WP Optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 's' parameter in all versions up to and including 2.5.0. This is due to an unsafe subquery-detection branch in the Query::parse_key_compare_field() method that, when the user-supplied value matches the regex ^[(\s]*SELECT\s+, wraps the value in parentheses and embeds it directly into the SQL string without any escaping or quoting. While the normal LIKE code path correctly uses esc_sql($wpdb->esc_like(...)) and wraps the value in single quotes, this branch completely bypasses those protections. Because the attack payload (SELECT ...) contains no single quotes, WordPress's wp_magic_quotes() provides no protection. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with administrator-level access to inject arbitrary SQL subqueries — including time-based blind payloads — that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: uprobes/x86: Move optimized uprobe from nop5 to nop10 Andrii reported an issue with optimized uprobes [1] that can clobber redzone area with call instruction storing return address on stack where user code may keep temporary data without adjusting rsp. Fixing this by moving the optimized uprobes on top of 10-bytes nop instruction, so we can squeeze another instruction to escape the redzone area before doing the call, like: lea -0x80(%rsp), %rsp call tramp Note the lea instruction is used to adjust the rsp register without changing the flags. We use nop10 and following transformation to optimized instructions above and back as suggested by Peterz [2]. Optimize path (int3_update_optimize): 1) Initial state after set_swbp() installed the uprobe: cc 2e 0f 1f 84 00 00 00 00 00 From offset 0 this is INT3 followed by the tail of the original 10-byte NOP. After a previous unoptimization bytes 5..9 may still contain the old call instruction, which remains valid for threads already there. 2) Rewrite the LEA tail and call displacement: cc [8d 64 24 80 e8 d0 d1 d2 d3] Fr

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: phonet: pep: do not write beyond optlen in getsockopt pep_getsockopt() clamps the reported length to the caller's buffer with min_t(), but then stores the value with put_user(val, (int __user *) optval), which always writes sizeof(int) bytes. A getsockopt() call with an optlen smaller than sizeof(int) thus reports the clamped length yet writes a full int, one to three bytes past the user buffer. Write the value with copy_to_user() bounded by len, so at most optlen bytes are copied, matching the length reported back to userspace.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_api: fix teardown of an adopted proto on insert-race loss In tc_new_tfilter() the create branch sets tp_created = 1 before calling tcf_chain_tp_insert_unique(). When the caller loses the race (another request inserted a proto at the same chain/prio first), insert_unique() destroys the caller's own tp_new and returns the winner's proto with an extra reference. tp_created was never cleared, so the loser's errout path treated the winner's live proto as its own and called tcf_chain_tp_delete_empty() on it, silently unlinking an active classifier that the winning request already advertised via RTM_NEWTFILTER. Track the outcome of the insert step in a single tri-state variable so each errout path reacts correctly: - TP_NOT_CREATED: no proto created; pursue the old path. - TP_CREATED: proto inserted successfully; same code path as before. - TP_NOT_OWNED: New - lost the insert race; tp is another request's proto (chain ref already released by tp_new's destroy) Both errout reactions are single expressions derived from the state. This fix is motivated by the Sashiko's automated review of Patch (net/sch

Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: llcp: avoid userspace overflow on invalid optlen nfc_llcp_getsockopt() casts optval tCVE-2026-90226 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: llcp: avoid userspace overflow on invalid optlen nfc_llcp_getsockopt() casts optval to (u32 __user *) for put_user(), so the kernel always stores 4 bytes regardless of the caller-supplied optlen. The existing min_t(u32, len, sizeof(u32)) only clamps the length reported back to userspace; it does not constrain the store. A call with optlen < 4 therefore writes past the user buffer, violating the getsockopt(2) contract for all five supported optnames. Reject any call with optlen < sizeof(u32) up front. 'len' is int, so a plain size comparison would promote a negative optlen to size_t and slip past the check; an explicit 'len < 0' test is added first to catch negative values before the size compare.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: llcp: read llcp_sock->local under the socket lock in getsockopt nfc_llcp_getsockopt() read llcp_sock->local before lock_sock(sk) and then dereferenced the cached pointer inside the locked region. llcp_sock_bind() assigns and clears llcp_sock->local under the same socket lock, dropping the last reference on its error path. A getsockopt() racing an in-flight bind() can observe the pointer, block on lock_sock(), and then dereference a freed nfc_llcp_local once bind() has unwound. Move the llcp_sock->local read and the NULL check inside the lock_sock(sk) region so bind() cannot mutate or free the pointer between the load and the use.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject negative optlen in cgroup getsockopt hook A cgroup getsockopt BPF program can shrink ctx->optlen after the kernel getsockopt handler has run. The kernel-buffer variant, used by TCP_ZEROCOPY_RECEIVE, only rejects values larger than the original length. If BPF writes a negative optlen, that value is accepted and propagated back to the TCP getsockopt code. It can then be passed to copy_to_sockptr() as a size_t and trigger the hardened usercopy bytes > INT_MAX warning. Reject negative ctx.optlen in __cgroup_bpf_run_filter_getsockopt_kern(), matching the lower-bound validation already present in the sockptr-based getsockopt hook.

pgAdmin 4's Restore and Maintenance tools passed the client-supplied 'database' field directly as the value of the --dbname option given to pg_restore and psql. libpq expands a database name containing an equals sign into a full connection string, and connection keywords embedded in that value take precedence over the --host and --port arguments that pgAdmin supplies. A value such as 'host=attacker.example port=5432 dbname=x' therefore redirected the utility to a server chosen by the requesting user rather than the server the operation was invoked against. Because pgAdmin exports the decrypted stored database password in the PGPASSWORD environment variable before executing the utility, the redirected connection presents that credential to the attacker-nominated endpoint, which may capture it. The redirection additionally permits outbound connections from the pgAdmin host to arbitrary network addresses, including hosts not otherwise reachable by the requesting user. The behaviour is reachable by any authenticated user holding the tools_restore or tools_maintenance permission, both of which the default User role grants. The Maintenance tool was not affected in the earliest releases,

Sep 17, 2026vm2 before 3.11.8 does not fully enforce the allowAsync: false option in VM and NodeVM.CVE-2026-92959 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
vm2 before 3.11.8 does not fully enforce the allowAsync: false option in VM and NodeVM. While localPromise.prototype.then is replaced with a handler that throws 'Async not available', the sandbox's Promise static methods (Promise.resolve, Promise.all, Promise.race, Promise.any, and Promise.allSettled) still assimilate attacker-supplied thenables: native promise resolution performs PromiseResolveThenableJob and invokes the sandboxed code's then method in a microtask without passing through the patched then, so the async restriction is never applied. As a result, sandboxed script can schedule work that runs after VM.run() or NodeVM.run() has returned and outside the configured timeout, continuing to execute after the host believes execution is complete.

Sep 17, 2026vm2 before 3.11.7 (affected versions <= 3.11.6) does not enforce the VM({ timeout }) option on code executed outside the synchronous VM#run() call.CVE-2026-92942 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
vm2 before 3.11.7 (affected versions <= 3.11.6) does not enforce the VM({ timeout }) option on code executed outside the synchronous VM#run() call. The timeout only wraps the single call to _runScript() via doWithTimeout() in lib/vm.js, and FinalizationRegistry and WeakRef are exposed to sandboxed code unmodified (they are not among the hardened globals in lib/setup-sandbox.js). Sandboxed code can register a FinalizationRegistry cleanup callback against an object and then drop the only strong reference to it; vm.run() returns within the configured timeout, but when the V8 garbage collector later reclaims the object it invokes the sandboxed cleanup callback outside any vm2 timeout accounting. A busy loop in that callback blocks the host event loop for an unbounded period, resulting in denial of service. The time of invocation depends on the garbage collector (e.g. under memory pressure or with --expose-gc).

Nodemailer (npm package `nodemailer`) versions 9.1.0 and earlier do not honor the `disableFileAccess` and `disableUrlAccess` sandbox options when message content is resolved through the public plugin API `MailMessage.resolveContent()` using the documented legacy three-argument signature `resolveContent(data, key, callback)`. Because `shared.resolveContent()` normalizes the missing `options` argument to an empty object, the message-level flags copied into `mail.data` by the MailMessage constructor are discarded, and `resolveContentValue()` skips both access-control checks, reaching `nmfetch(url)` or `fs.createReadStream(path)`. As a result, plugin or application code that resolves untrusted message content (html, text, attachment `path` or `href`) via this API can be induced to read arbitrary local files or issue outbound HTTP(S) requests (server-side request forgery), bypassing the sandbox the application enabled. The internal paths used by `transporter.sendMail()` (`resolveAll()`, `_convertDataImages()`, and the MIME streaming path) are not affected. Fixed in version 9.1.1.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_midi2: fix use-after-free in string attribute show path f_midi2_opts_str_show() takes the string lock internally, but its callers dereference the opts->info.<field> pointer before calling it, outside the lock. Change f_midi2_opts_str_show() to take a pointer to the string field, matching the existing pattern in f_midi2_opts_str_store(), and dereference it only after the lock is held. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Take trace_array reference when opening options file The options files do not take the trace_array reference for the options they represent. This could cause a use-after-free kernel crash if one of these files is opened by one task and another task removes the instance that the option is for. Because it doesn't take a reference upon opening, it will not stop the removal which will free the options descriptor that is being used. As the options are somewhat dynamic in their creation at boot up, each file represents a flag in the trace_array. The trace_array has an array of indexes to represent each of these flags that is stored in the trace_flags_index array. The address of the index array element is used to pass to the inode->i_private pointer. Then that element is read which holds the index (which represents the flag) and then the index is used to calculate the trace_array descriptor from its trace_flags_index array. One issue is that the index element can not be referenced until the trace_array's reference is taken. To handle this, create a new helper function called: trace_array_options_get() that wi

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme-fabrics: fix DHCHAP secret leak on parse failure nvmf_parse_options() duplicates dhchap_secret and dhchap_ctrl_secret with match_strdup() before validating the DHHC-1: representation. If validation fails, the parser returns -EINVAL before the temporary string in p is assigned to opts->dhchap_secret or opts->dhchap_ctrl_secret. nvmf_create_ctrl() subsequently frees opts, but nvmf_free_options() cannot release the unassigned temporary string. Each rejected option therefore leaks one allocation. This is easy to miss because valid secrets transfer ownership to opts and are freed normally, while the malformed-secret path still returns the expected -EINVAL to userspace. With CONFIG_NVME_HOST_AUTH enabled, the leak is reachable before the required-option checks and transport lookup. No NVMe-oF target or working transport connection is required; for example, repeatedly writing dhchap_secret=BAD or dhchap_ctrl_secret=BAD to /dev/nvme-fabrics deterministically takes the leaking parse path. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme-fc: fix double free of fabrics options when nvme_add_ctrl() fails nvmf_create_ctrl() owns the fabrics options and frees them whenever ->create_ctrl() returns an error, so a transport must not free them on its own error paths. nvme-fc tracks this by testing ctrl->ctrl.opts in nvme_fc_ctrl_free(), which requires nvme_fc_init_ctrl() to clear that pointer on every error exit. The coupling is implicit, and commit 1a9e218195a5 ("nvme: split device add from initialization") broke it by adding a second error exit.
