  • Oct 20, 2026The file search of the extension builds its database conditions by wrapping the search term in quotes itself.CVE-2026-112238 · Other software · TYPO3 · reported by f4fb688c-4412-4426-b4b8-421ecf27b14aHigh 8.7

The file search of the extension builds its database conditions by wrapping the search term in quotes itself. Only the wildcard characters of the LIKE operator are escaped, quote characters are not. A crafted search term can therefore leave the intended string value and change the database query. This allows an attacker to read data from the database. The issue affects every searched field.

  • Oct 20, 2026The RemoteUserStoreManagerService does not sufficiently validate password change attempts when the password history validation feature is enabled.CVE-2024-2323 · Other software · WSO2 · reported by ed10eef1-636d-4fbe-9993-6890dfa878f8Medium 4.8

The RemoteUserStoreManagerService does not sufficiently validate password change attempts when the password history validation feature is enabled. This oversight allows an attacker to repeatedly attempt password guesses for a user account without being adequately restricted. Exploiting this vulnerability enables an attacker to discover a user's password through brute force, leading to account impersonation. The success rate of such an attack is influenced by the complexity of the targeted user's password, with simpler passwords increasing the likelihood of compromise.

  • Oct 19, 2026Apache Airflow Amazon provider: the AWS auth manager's SAML login flow does not bind the authentication response to the browser that began it.CVE-2026-86467 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.8

Apache Airflow Amazon provider: the AWS auth manager's SAML login flow does not bind the authentication response to the browser that began it. The login handler discards the AuthnRequest ID and the callback validates the assertion without requiring a matching InResponseTo, so an unauthenticated attacker who can cause a victim to load a page can complete a SAML login in the victim's browser using the attacker's own assertion, silently logging the victim into the attacker's Airflow account. Subsequent work the victim performs lands in a session the attacker controls. Affects deployments using the AWS auth manager with SAML authentication. The victim needs only to visit an attacker-controlled page; no Airflow account or credential is required of the attacker. This is the same login-CSRF class fixed in the Keycloak auth manager as CVE-2026-40948. Users of apache-airflow-providers-amazon are recommended to upgrade to version 9.38.0, which fixes the issue.

  • Oct 19, 2026The ForgeRock client fails to correctly validate refresh tokens.CVE-2025-7043 · Other software · WSO2 · reported by ed10eef1-636d-4fbe-9993-6890dfa878f8Medium 5.4

The ForgeRock client fails to correctly validate refresh tokens. This allows a refresh token to be treated as a valid access token, enabling its use for consuming protected resources. This bypasses the intended security control that requires valid client credentials in addition to a refresh token to obtain a new access token. An attacker who obtains a stolen or exposed refresh token can leverage this vulnerability to directly access protected resources. This is possible because the standard security flow requiring client credentials to exchange a refresh token for an access token is circumvented.

The carbon console accepts user-supplied XML input without sufficiently encoding potentially executable content, allowing for the injection of malicious scripts. Successful exploitation allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of a victim's browser, leading to actions such as redirecting the user to a malicious website or modifying the web page's user interface. • Oct 19, 2026The SCIM endpoint does not sufficiently validate authorization for federated users when performing operations against the local user store.CVE-2025-10149 · Other software · WSO2 · reported by ed10eef1-636d-4fbe-9993-6890dfa878f8High 8.2

The SCIM endpoint does not sufficiently validate authorization for federated users when performing operations against the local user store. This occurs when a local and a federated user share the same username, allowing a federated user to perform actions intended for a local user, including arbitrary operations. A malicious actor authenticated as a federated user may perform arbitrary operations on local user accounts via the SCIM 2.0 or SCIM 1.1 endpoints when local and federated users share the same username. This could lead to user account takeover. Deployments that do not support user self-registration are considered medium severity.

  • Oct 16, 2026My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104798 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.7. The public `mcs` GET parameter is reflected into post content unsanitized before WordPress core's `do_shortcode` filter runs, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to inject a nested `[my_calendar above=...]` shortcode; `mc_generate_calendar_nav()` then splits the `above` attribute on commas and dispatches each element via `call_user_func()` with no authentication, authorization, or callable allowlist check. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to invoke arbitrary loaded PHP functions, enabling a call chain in which the shortcode `$params` array is passed to `edit_user()` — which PHP coerces to integer `1` as the `$user_id` argument — overwriting the credentials of the initial Administrator account (user ID 1) and granting the attacker full wp-admin access. Exploitation is trivially reachable via the plugin's auto-generated `/my-calendar/` page, which is publicly accessible by default upon plugin activation.

  • Oct 15, 2026AliasVault is a privacy-first password manager with built-in email aliasing.CVE-2026-94621 · Other software · aliasvault · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

AliasVault is a privacy-first password manager with built-in email aliasing. Prior to 0.30.3, the AliasVault server API favicon extractor validates a user-supplied hostname with a first DNS lookup but allows the HTTP client to perform a second DNS lookup when connecting. An authenticated low-privileged user operating an attacker-controlled authoritative DNS server can return a public address during validation and a private address during connection, causing a publicly reachable self-hosted server to issue HTTP or HTTPS requests to internal hosts. A valid image response is returned in Base64 form, while other responses can expose limited timing and error information for internal-network reconnaissance. Exploitation requires a publicly reachable self-hosted instance with public registration enabled, an authenticated AliasVault account, an attacker-controlled authoritative DNS server, and a resolver that permits rebinding; default checks limit requests to ports 80 and 443. The browser extensions, web application, and mobile applications are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.30.3.

Prior to 0.29.4, the AliasVault browser extension passkey provider does not bind passkey requests to the actual webpage origin or verify that the requested relying-party identifier matches the current website. A malicious website can provide forged origin and relying-party values and, if a victim with a matching stored passkey approves the AliasVault passkey prompt, obtain a valid assertion for a different website. Exploitation requires the extension to be installed, unlocked, and configured as a passkey provider, requires a stored passkey for the impersonated site, and cannot occur silently because the victim must approve the prompt. If an identity provider reassigns an email address, which authd uses as the username, to a new account, the new account inherits the previous user's local UID and home directory on its next login. This allows the new user to access and modify files belonging to the previous user, including credentials such as SSH keys and cloud API tokens, and silently rebinds the local account record to the new identity. As a mitigation, administrators should lock or delete the previous user's local authd account when the corresponding IdP account is removed.

In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery versions starting with 2023.3.1010 and prior to 2026.3.1015, the FileManager component renders remotely supplied item names as HTML in its default drag hint even though the corresponding list items are encoded. An attacker who can control an item name can inject HTML containing event handlers that execute JavaScript in a user's browser when the user drags the affected item. Successful exploitation can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. From 3.9.0 until 3.22.0, pristine manual FileRise installations without PERSISTENT_TOKENS_KEY or metadata/persistent_tokens.key can activate a published legacy compatibility key. If an attacker separately obtains ciphertext-bearing account or configuration files, the known fallback key can enable decryption of TOTP secrets or credentials. Docker installations already generated a unique persistent key, and existing installations are not automatically rotated because doing so could make encrypted state unreadable. This issue is fixed in version 3.22.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.21.0, FileRise returns the stored branding.footerHtml value through the unauthenticated public site configuration API without server-side sanitization. The FileRise frontend already sanitizes this value before rendering it into the page, using an allowlist of simple footer tags and safe link handling. The unauthenticated public config API exposed raw admin-provided footer HTML to clients, which is still undesirable and could be unsafe for alternate clients or future render paths. An administrator must first store the malicious footer value. This issue is fixed in version 3.21.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.21.0, FileRise tracks failed logins only by the combination of source IP address and username. A remote unauthenticated attacker can rotate usernames to obtain a fresh per-account attempt budget for each name, enabling password spraying from one source beyond the intended limit. Per-user limits still apply and can also produce distinguishable throttling behavior for targeted accounts. The affected surface is AuthModel::getFailedLoginKey(). This issue is fixed in version 3.21.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.21.0, FileRise enforces disableFormLogin, disableBasicAuth, and disableOIDCLogin in the client interface but not consistently in the corresponding server-side authentication flows. A user with otherwise valid credentials for a disabled method can call its backend endpoint directly and authenticate despite the administrator's login-method policy. The flaw does not permit credential-free authentication. This issue is fixed in version 3.21.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.20.0, FileRise /api/file/snippet.php does not apply the standard authenticated-session guard before processing short text preview requests. The endpoint still performs FileRise ACL checks, so normal installations do not expose an unauthenticated arbitrary file read, but unauthenticated requests can reach ACL evaluation instead of receiving an immediate 401 response. Only additional unusual proxy-header or ACL misconfiguration is documented as allowing requests to proceed into path and file-content handling. This issue is fixed in version 3.20.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.19.0, FileRise validates the complete folderName string but does not reject dot-dot path segments before FolderModel::createFolder() constructs and creates the destination. An authenticated low-privileged user with a valid CSRF token and create or owner permission on the parent can submit traversal segments to POST /api/folder/createFolder.php and create directories outside UPLOAD_DIR wherever the web-server account can write. FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.18.0, FileRise flattens logical folder paths into metadata filenames by replacing separators and spaces with hyphens, so distinct folders such as team/docs and team-docs can share one metadata file. Because uploader metadata is used to authorize read_own and ownership-restricted edits, a low-privileged user who controls one colliding folder, knows the target basename, and already has read_own access to the target folder can alter the metadata used by that folder, make the victim file appear attacker-owned, read it, and modify it when edit-own permission is also available. This issue is fixed in version 3.18.0.
