  • Sep 9, 2026PublishPress Capabilities – User Role Editor, Access Permissions, User Capabilities, Admin Menus: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-75927 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The PublishPress Capabilities – User Role Editor, Access Permissions, User Capabilities, Admin Menus plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 2.50.0. This is due to the `addPluginCapabilities()` function unconditionally granting the Editor role all 15 `manage_capabilities_*` capabilities — including `manage_capabilities`, `manage_capabilities_roles`, `manage_capabilities_settings`, and `manage_capabilities_backup` — via a hard-coded `$eligible_roles = ['administrator', 'editor']` assignment that runs automatically on the first `admin_init` after plugin activation with no administrator opt-in, persisting the grants directly to the database. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Editor-level access to elevate their privileges to a site-wide capability manager, enabling them to create, rename, and delete non-system roles, modify capabilities of non-administrator roles, restore role backups, and write arbitrary plugin options whose names begin with `cme_`, `capsman`, `pp_capabilities`, or `presspermit` via `update_option()`. The escalation stops short of full Administrator access, as WordPress's `map_meta_cap` la

  • Sep 9, 2026Ultimate Gift Cards for WooCommerce: Does not verify that the user redeeming a gift card is its intended recipientCVE-2026-75861 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 6.5

The Ultimate Gift Cards for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 3.2.10 does not verify that the user redeeming a gift card is its intended recipient, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to redeem gift cards belonging to other users, zeroing their balance and crediting the value to themselves. • Sep 9, 2026Mail Mint – Email Marketing, Newsletter, Email Automation & WooCommerce Emails: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-19800 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.9

The Mail Mint – Email Marketing, Newsletter, Email Automation & WooCommerce Emails plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'status' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.31.0 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. The $wpdb->prepare() call does not protect against this injection because the attacker-controlled $contact_filter_query fragment is concatenated into the SQL format string before prepare() executes — prepare() only processes %s/%d placeholders and cannot sanitize content already embedded in the format string. REST API JSON bodies are parsed from php://input and bypass WordPress's wp_magic_quotes(), meaning double-quote characters in status array values reach the SQL sink unescaped. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. The required 'mint_read_contacts' capability is a plugin-specific capability not assigned to any default WordPress role; it must be explicitly granted by an

  • Sep 7, 2026Flamingo: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-12853 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The Flamingo plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.6.2. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to enumerate taxonomy terms including channel names derived from Contact Form 7 form titles that may reveal internal form purposes, department names, or workflow identifiers, as well as submission counts per channel and contact tag names. The plugin's flamingo_map_meta_cap() filter restricts access to Flamingo's admin UI but does not extend to WordPress core APIs such as XML-RPC wp.getTerms and admin-ajax ajax-tag-search.

  • Sep 5, 2026Frontend Admin by DynamiApps: Authentication Bypass to Account TakeoverCVE-2026-75816 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Frontend Admin by DynamiApps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass to Account Takeover in all versions up to, and including, 3.29.12. This is due to the pre_update_value function lacking any capability or ownership check, and ActionPost::conditions_logic() short-circuiting its current_user_can('edit_post') authorization gate whenever the post ID is non-numeric — such as the string user_1 — allowing unauthenticated form submissions to be routed to arbitrary user records without restriction. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite any user's registered email address, including an administrator's, and then leverage WordPress's native password-reset flow to fully take over the targeted account.

The Mail Mint – Email Marketing, Newsletter, Email Automation & WooCommerce Emails plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 1.31.0 via deserialization of untrusted input in the 'handle_form_submission' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object. The additional presence of a POP chain allows attackers to execute code on the server. • Sep 5, 2026Hummingbird – Speed Optimization, Caching, Minify, Compress & CDN: Remote Code ExecutionCVE-2026-83627 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Hummingbird – Speed Optimization, Caching, Minify, Compress & CDN plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 3.21.0 via the log_msg() function in core/modules/class-page-cache.php. The page-cache debug log is written to wp-content/wphb-logs/page-caching-log.php, a directly web-accessible PHP file that is supposed to be protected by a leading '<?php die(); ?>' header. That header is guarded by class_exists( 'Filesystem' ), which can never match because class_exists() resolves string arguments in the global namespace while the class is Hummingbird\Core\Filesystem; when the log is created during a front-end request the header is therefore omitted entirely. get_cookies() then writes the raw name of any cookie matching the wphb_cache_ prefix into that file without sanitization. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to write arbitrary PHP into the log file with a single anonymous request and execute it by requesting the file directly, resulting in full remote code execution. Exploitation requires the site administrator to have enabled Page Caching with the Debug Log option (non-default), and the log file to be crea

The Ninja Forms WordPress plugin before 3.15.2 does not restrict its REST abilities to administrators, accepting a Ninja Forms WordPress plugin before 3.15.2-specific capability as equivalent to full site administration, which allows any user granted that capability to read Ninja Forms WordPress plugin before 3.15.2 settings and stored form submissions, overwrite the Ninja Forms WordPress plugin before 3.15.2's configuration, and create or modify arbitrary posts and pages. • Sep 1, 2026Simple Membership: Authentication Bypass leading to Administrator Account TakeoverCVE-2026-77194 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Simple Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass leading to Administrator Account Takeover in versions up to, and including, 4.8.0. This is due to improper identity verification during the public registration flow in WordPress Multisite environments, where the plugin binds new Simple Membership records to existing global WordPress users based solely on matching username and email, without requiring password verification or ownership proof, and fails to properly detect Administrator roles on child sites. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to take over Administrator accounts on child sites in a Multisite network by registering a Simple Membership account with a victim's credentials on a site where public registration is enabled, then updating the victim's global WordPress password through the profile edit functionality. The Support Genix – Helpdesk, AI Chatbot, Knowledge Base & Customer Support Ticketing System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass leading to Administrator Account Takeover in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.52 via the `guest_ticket_login()` function and its `p` parameter. This is due to the site-wide AES-256-CBC encryption key being derived from only three two-digit `wp_rand(10, 99)` values and a Unix timestamp via `md5()` — yielding approximately 19.5 bits of entropy — combined with a deterministic IV derived from the password, no authentication tag on the ciphertext, and no capability check, nonce, or session validation on the publicly reachable `/sgnix/?p=<token>` endpoint. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, who can obtain a single legitimate guest ticket token as a known-plaintext oracle and bound the plugin activation timestamp, to exhaust the ~729,000-candidate keyspace entirely offline, recover the site-wide encryption key, and forge a self-consistent `{ticket_id, ticket_user}` token targeting any administrator-owned ticket. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. • Aug 25, 2026Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-18323 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Radio Field (Save and Continue Draft) in all versions up to, and including, 1.57.0.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable because the Save-and-Continue draft submission AJAX endpoint is registered as nopriv, allowing unauthenticated attackers to bypass radio field option-membership validation and persist a crafted payload that, when rendered on the Submissions admin page, is auto-executed via the bundled Inputmask library's data-attribute callback binding.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
