  • Oct 14, 2026A flaw was found in the DPDK vhost library.CVE-2026-93683 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.4

A flaw was found in the DPDK vhost library. When handling a virtio indirect descriptor table, the host reads the table length more than once from guest memory and can allocate a host copy before validating that length. A guest that changes the length between those reads, or that supplies an out-of-range next index on a small host copy in the vDPA relay path, can cause the host vhost process to walk past the validated mapping or heap copy. That can crash or disrupt the vhost process. Out-of-bounds bytes are consumed as descriptor fields for GPA translation and are not returned to the guest as payload. This is a residual issue in the non-contiguous indirect descriptor copy path introduced as part of the CVE-2018-1059 fix.

  • Oct 14, 2026YOURLS is a self-hosted, customizable URL shortener written in PHP.CVE-2026-62858 · Other software · YOURLS · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

YOURLS is a self-hosted, customizable URL shortener written in PHP. Prior to 1.10.5, yourls_get_request() extracted the request path without sanitization, after which yourls_sanitize_url() and yourls_esc_url() preserved dot and slash traversal sequences before an attacker-controlled keyword reached file_exists() and include() under YOURLS_PAGEDIR. An unauthenticated remote attacker could traverse outside the intended pages directory and include a local PHP file that was already present on the server, such as an uploaded or injected file, causing the file to execute in the YOURLS web process. This issue is fixed in version 1.10.5.

  • Oct 14, 2026Nezha Monitoring is a self-hostable, lightweight, servers and websites monitoring and O&M tool.CVE-2026-100394 · Other software · nezhahq · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Nezha Monitoring is a self-hostable, lightweight, servers and websites monitoring and O&M tool. From 2.2.7 until 2.2.11, ServiceSentinel.worker in service/singleton/servicesentinel.go checked an owned service under servicesLock and later dereferenced pointer-valued serviceStatusToday and serviceCurrentStatusData entries under serviceResponseDataStoreLock without revalidating that ServiceSentinel.Delete had not removed them. A RoleMember could concurrently report TCP or ICMP results through the member's own agent and delete the same owned service, causing a nil pointer dereference. Because the gRPC server had no recovery interceptor, the worker panic terminated the whole dashboard process and disrupted every tenant's web interface, REST API, and agent connections. The issue affects availability only and does not disclose or modify data. This issue is fixed in versions 2.2.11 and 2.3.0.

The insights-runtime-extractor runs as a privileged DaemonSet (`hostPID: true`) that scans container processes for runtime fingerprinting. When scanning a container, the coordinator: 1. **fork()s** a child process 2. **setns()** into the target container's PID and mount namespaces 3. **fchdir()** back to an orphaned FD pointing at the extractor's own root filesystem (where `/crio.sock` is hostPath-mounted) 4. Calls **only `seteuid(target_uid)`** — changing the effective UID but leaving the **real UID and saved-set-UID at 0** and **retaining the permitted capability set** 5. The `check_no_privileged_perms()` guard inspects only the Effective capability set (so it passes), and is **skipped entirely when the target runs as uid 0** 6. The `VersionExecutable` fingerprint invokes `fpr_kind_executable` with `process.command_line[0]` — the target's argv[0], read from `/proc/<pid>/cmdline` and **fully controlled by the workload** 7. `fpr_kind_executable` calls `exec.Command(executable, "--version").Output()` — executing the **workload's own binary** inside the workload's mount namespace while **ruid=0 in the host user namespace** The executed process can call `setu

The Bluetooth Classic Hands-Free Profile Audio Gateway implementation in subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/hfp_ag.c keeps its struct bt_hfp_ag objects in a static pool indexed by ACL connection index. On link teardown, hfp_ag_disconnected() cancels ag->tx_work and the per-call work items and then clears ag->acl_conn, which marks the pool slot as free — but it leaves ag->ongoing_call_work (and ag->slc_work) untouched. The next connection that lands on the same slot enters hfp_ag_create(), whose only occupancy test is ag->acl_conn, and immediately executes memset(ag, 0, sizeof(struct bt_hfp_ag)) followed by k_work_init_delayable(). Zeroing and re-initialising a k_work_delayable whose struct _timeout node is still linked into the kernel timeout list leaves the kernel holding a reference to a node with NULL prev/next links. ag->ongoing_call_work is armed by the remote peer: when a Hands-Free unit sends AT+CIND? during Service Level Connection establishment and the application provides the asynchronous get_ongoing_call callback, the AG schedules the work for CONFIG_BT_HFP_AG_GET_ONGOING_CALL_TIMEOUT milliseconds (default 10000). JumpServer is an open source bastion host and an operation and maintenance security audit system. Prior to 4.10.17-lts, JumpServer's Ansible-based automation rendering can evaluate attacker-controlled template expressions from users who have permission to create or execute affected automation tasks. Crafted content can invoke sensitive Ansible lookup behavior, including file, pipe, env, and password lookups, within the Ansible execution context, which can disclose files or environment values and may permit limited command execution under the privileges of the automation process. The issue does not provide unauthenticated access or direct access to unrelated JumpServer assets. This issue is fixed in version 4.10.17-lts.

Heym builds and runs agentic systems and business-process automations on self-hosted infrastructure. Prior to 0.0.40, an authenticated user who can create or edit a workflow with an Agent custom Python tool can bypass the blacklist-based sandbox in backend/app/services/python_tool_executor.py because allowed standard-library modules expose operating-system, process, and filesystem capabilities through public attributes that pass _safe_import() and _validate_code_safety(). The runner then executes the supplied tool with exec(), permitting commands and file operations as the backend application user; self-registration affects reachability, but portal triggering alone does not grant code control. • Oct 12, 2026The Bluetooth host's ATT transmit path releases a buffer it does not own when signing fails.CVE-2026-19938 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.9

The Bluetooth host's ATT transmit path releases a buffer it does not own when signing fails. chan_send() in subsys/bluetooth/host/att.c documents (and every other error exit implements) the contract that on failure the caller retains ownership of the net_buf; the BT_ATT_OP_SIGNED_WRITE_CMD branch instead called net_buf_unref(buf) when bt_smp_sign() returned an error and then returned that error to the caller. The callers act on the contract: process_queue() re-queues the buffer with k_queue_prepend(), bt_att_chan_send_rsp() puts it back on chan->tx_queue, bt_att_chan_req_send() restores it into the request, and att_req_retry() unreferences it — so the already-freed buffer was re-queued, later dereferenced, and eventually freed again. An ATT Signed Write Command is produced when an application calls bt_gatt_write_without_response_cb() with sign set on an unencrypted connection. bt_smp_sign() fails whenever no local CSRK exists for the peer (-ENOENT), and whether one exists is negotiated with the peer: smp_distribute_keys() stores a local CSRK only when the peer's pairing key-distribution field requests the signing key and bonding was agreed. A peer can therefore pair without accept

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.14.0, FileRise authenticates requests to the file creation and share-link creation handlers but does not enforce the server-side CSRF token check used by adjacent state-changing operations. The POST endpoints /api/file/createFile.php and /api/file/createShareLink.php invoke FileController::createFile and FileController::createShareLink without rejecting a missing or invalid X-CSRF-Token header. A request issued with a logged-in user's session can create an empty file or create a share link with that user's permissions, although the default SameSite=Lax session cookie reduces ordinary cross-site POST reachability. A malicious package can embed ANSI escape sequences (cursor movement, line erase, carriage returns, OSC 52 clipboard writes) or Unicode bidirectional overrides in any of those fields, so the bytes reach the terminal unchanged, forging displayed URLs, package descriptions and suggested commands, concealing real output, or writing to the clipboard. • Oct 12, 2026Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in hexpm hex allows an attacker who can intercept HTTPS connections, and holds a certificate for a Hex host issuedCVE-2026-103503 · Other software · hexpm · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 5.9

Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in hexpm hex allows an attacker who can intercept HTTPS connections, and holds a certificate for a Hex host issued by a CA in Hex's bundled CA store, to impersonate that host to users who set cacerts_path to a CA store that leaves that CA out. cacerts_path (HEX_CACERTS_PATH) is documented as the path to the CA certificate store, used instead of the CA bundle that ships with Hex. Hex.HTTP.SSL.ssl_opts/1 passes the configured store as the cacerts option, but builds the partial_chain callback from the bundled store whether cacerts_path is set or not. Hex.HTTP.SSL.partial_chain/2 accepts a server chain when any certificate in it has the same public key as a bundled CA certificate, so a chain that leads to a bundled CA passes verification although the configured store doesn't contain that CA. Hostname verification still applies. This issue affects hex: from 0.20.2 before 2.5.2.

  • Oct 11, 2026The Bluetooth LE host queues received L2CAP connection-oriented channel (CoC) data for deferred processing through a struct k_work embedded in the channel objecCVE-2026-19935 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 7.5

The Bluetooth LE host queues received L2CAP connection-oriented channel (CoC) data for deferred processing through a struct k_work embedded in the channel object (le_chan->rx_work, handler l2cap_rx_process()) whenever the channel uses a dynamic PSM (0x0080-0x00FF). Channel teardown in l2cap_chan_destroy() in subsys/bluetooth/host/l2cap.c cancels the retransmission-timeout work and drains the RX FIFO, but never cancels rx_work. Because that work item was submitted to the system workqueue while HCI receive processing runs on the dedicated Bluetooth RX workqueue (CONFIG_BT_RECV_WORKQ_BT, the default), a queued rx_work item can outlive the channel it points into. A remote, unauthenticated peer with an established CoC channel triggers this by sending a data K-frame immediately followed by an L2CAP Disconnect Request. The K-frame submits rx_work to the system workqueue; because both workqueue threads are cooperative and the Bluetooth RX workqueue runs at the higher priority (K_PRIO_COOP(CONFIG_BT_RX_PRIO) versus CONFIG_SYSTEM_WORKQUEUE_PRIORITY), the pending item cannot run before the following Disconnect Request is processed in le_disconn_req() -> l2cap_chan_del() -> l2cap_chan_destroy

  • Oct 10, 2026Fastcache by Host.it: Code InjectionCVE-2026-104021 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Fastcache by Host.it plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Code Injection in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.4 via the `fastcache_settings[cache_cookie_exclude][]` parameter. This is due to the plugin registering the `cache_cookie_exclude` setting via `register_setting()` without a `sanitize_callback`, while `buildSiteHtaccessRules()` applies only `trim()` to each cookie value before interpolating it directly into an Apache `RewriteCond` line — a normalization that strips surrounding whitespace but leaves embedded newlines intact, allowing an attacker to break out of the capture group and append arbitrary directives. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary Apache directives into the site's `.htaccess` file via `file_put_contents()`, enabling server-level configuration changes such as setting `php_value auto_prepend_file` to execute attacker-controlled PHP code on every request.

Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. Versions prior to 2.4.0 store password-reset, email-confirmation, and account-deletion tokens in the `user_tokens` table in plaintext. If an attacker gains read access to the database through a backup leak, misconfigured storage, or SQL-level exposure, they can immediately use pending tokens to take over user accounts without knowing passwords. • Oct 9, 2026Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform.CVE-2026-62367 · Other software · go-vikunja · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. In versions 1.0.0 through 2.3.0, when an administrator enables the per-provider `emailfallback` option on an OpenID Connect provider, Vikunja links an SSO login to a pre-existing local (username+password) account using only the `email` claim from the IdP. The fallback never checks an `email_verified` (or Microsoft `xms_edov`) signal and never requires the matched account's password. • Oct 9, 2026A reachable assertion in the illumos bhyve instruction emulator allows a guest to panic the host.CVE-2026-102916 · Other software · illumos · reported by 0ca53633-f0b5-4853-ba72-e0a2e62000d0Medium 6.8

A reachable assertion in the illumos bhyve instruction emulator allows a guest to panic the host. When emulating a REP-prefixed MOVS or STOS instruction that accesses guest MMIO, vie_emulate_movs() and vie_emulate_stos() in usr/src/uts/intel/io/vmm/vmm_instruction_emul.c do not clear the VIES_REPEAT status flag on the final iteration. For MMIO regions emulated in the kernel (the local APIC, I/O APIC and HPET), the stale flag causes a VERIFY assertion in vie_advance_pc() to fail, and the host panics. A privileged user within a guest VM can issue a REP MOVS or REP STOS instruction against the local APIC page to cause a denial of service of the host and every other guest running on it. The flaw has existed since 2020 (illumos-gate commit e0c0d44e), and affects any illumos distribution prior to illumos-gate commit 696ecf8d.

In Apache CXF, the Netty-based HTTP client transport (cxf-rt-transports-http-netty-client) did not verify that the hostname in the server’s TLS certificate matched the host being called. This applied over both HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/2, even when disableCNCheck was left at its default value of false. The certificate chain was validated against the configured trust store, but the endpoint’s identity was not. A network attacker able to intercept traffic could present any certificate trusted by the client, such as a publicly issued certificate for a domain they control, and impersonate the target service. They could then read or modify the exchanged messages, including credentials.  Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue.

The ITE IT8xxx2 SHI host-command backend (subsys/mgmt/ec_host_cmd/backends/ec_host_cmd_backend_shi_ite.c) copied the 8-byte host-command request header from the SPI Rx FIFO directly into the shared receive buffer data->in_msg and only afterwards checked the protocol version and the derived packet length. The interrupt handler also accepted a chip-select assertion and an Rx-valid-length (RVLI) interrupt in any driver state other than SHI_STATE_DISABLED, so a new header could be parsed while the host-command thread was still processing the previous request out of the very same buffer. The host processor is the SPI controller and drives both chip select and the clock. After sending a well-formed request it can immediately de-assert chip select — which returns the driver to the ready state and re-enables the FIFO — and start a second transaction carrying a header with data_len = 0xFFFF. Those eight bytes are written into in_msg before the oversized length is rejected, so they land in a buffer whose contents verify_rx() in subsys/mgmt/ec_host_cmd/ec_host_cmd_handler.c has already validated. If this lands in the window before the host-command thread executes args.input_buf_size = rx_hea
