Sep 8, 2026A security issue in MongoDB Server allows an authenticated user with elevated internal privileges to bypass a disabled feature gate in the applyOps command by sCVE-2026-82062 · Other software · MongoDB · reported by cna@mongodb.comHigh 7
A security issue in MongoDB Server allows an authenticated user with elevated internal privileges to bypass a disabled feature gate in the applyOps command by specifying an internal replication mode value that was not intended to be client-selectable. This bypass enables execution of container operations that are disabled by default in production configurations, allowing direct storage-engine writes to arbitrary internal storage tables. The authorization check for these operations validates only the operation's namespace, not the actual storage target, enabling writes to unrelated internal metadata or other collections' data.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: msm: Disable DMA for kernel console UART At the moment, concurrent writes from userspace and the kernel to the console can trigger a race condition that results in an infinite loop of the same messages printed over and over again. This is most likely to happen during system startup or shutdown when the init system starts/stops a large number of system services that interact with various kernel code. When userspace writes to the TTY device, the driver initiates an asynchronous DMA transfer and releases the port lock. At the same moment, the kernel printk path might grab the port lock and re-configure the UART controller for PIO, without waiting for the DMA operation to complete. It seems like this collision results in zero progress being reported for the DMA engine, so the same text is printed to the console over and over again. For the kernel console, we want a reliable output path that will be functional even during crashes etc. So rather than implementing complex code to synchronize the kernel console write routines with the userspace DMA write routines, simply disable DMA for the console UART instanc

Sep 4, 2026phpMyFAQ before 4.1.8 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in its two-factor authentication (TOTP) disable functionality.CVE-2026-85590 · Other software · thorsten · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
phpMyFAQ before 4.1.8 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in its two-factor authentication (TOTP) disable functionality. The removeTwofactorConfig() handler (reachable via POST /api/user/remove-twofactor) verifies only that the user is logged in and that a valid CSRF token is supplied, then disables TOTP without requiring password re-entry or a current TOTP code. The same downgrade is also reachable inline via PUT /api/user/data/update, which accepts a plain twofactor_enabled form field under the same session+CSRF-only guard. An attacker who has hijacked a user's session can silently strip two-factor protection from any account, including administrator accounts, after which password-only authentication succeeds.

A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability exists in MISP due to form-security and CSRF protections being disabled based on whether an incoming request was identified as a REST request. MISP's REST detection can be influenced by request properties such as the URL suffix or the HTTP Accept header. Because Accept: application/json can be supplied by a cross-origin page without requiring a CORS preflight, an attacker could cause a request originating from another website to be treated as REST traffic. MISP would consequently disable its normal form-security and CSRF validation even though the request was authenticated using the victim's existing browser session. An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit this behavior by convincing an authenticated MISP user to visit or interact with a malicious web page. The attacker's page could then issue crafted requests to susceptible state-changing MISP endpoints using the victim's privileges. Depending on the permissions of the victim and the targeted endpoint, this could allow unauthorized modification, creation, publication, or removal of data and other state changes. The vulnerability originates from granting the form-securit

In the current development version of Eclipse aeriOS, for which no official release has yet been published, the Federator component disables TLS certificate validation for outbound HTTPS connections by default. When the TLS_CERTIFICATE_VALIDATION environment variable is unset or set to false, the component configures its HTTP transport to skip TLS certificate verification. As a result, an attacker able to intercept network communications between the Federator and external services could impersonate those services and intercept sensitive information transmitted over HTTPS, including OAuth client credentials and bearer tokens. The issue has been addressed by enabling TLS certificate validation by default. The TLS_CERTIFICATE_VALIDATION environment variable is now set to true in the default configuration provided by the Helm chart and Docker Compose deployment.

Sep 2, 2026Kimai versions from 2.61.0 before 2.63.0 fail to disable admin-only work-contract preferences for low-privilege users in the PATCH /api/users/{id}/preferences eCVE-2026-84805 · Other software · kimai · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
Kimai versions from 2.61.0 before 2.63.0 fail to disable admin-only work-contract preferences for low-privilege users in the PATCH /api/users/{id}/preferences endpoint. Although the web interface gates these employment-contract fields behind the contract_other_profile admin permission, the WorkContractPreferenceSubscriber (introduced in 2.61.0) registers the preferences as enabled without a permission check, so an authenticated regular user can use the API to modify their own admin-only work-contract data. OpenAI Codex CLI for Windows, macOS, and Linux and Codex Desktop for Windows and macOS automatically collected Git repository metadata without disabling the repository-local core.fsmonitor setting. If a user opens or uses an attacker-prepared repository whose preserved .git/config sets core.fsmonitor to an attacker-controlled filesystem-monitor helper, Git can execute that helper while Codex collects repository metadata. The helper runs outside Codex's command sandbox and without a user-approval prompt, allowing attacker-controlled code to run with the user's privileges. The code can read, change, or delete the user's files and access other resources available to the user's account. An ordinary Git clone does not preserve the source repository's local .git/config; exploitation requires a repository delivered or copied with that configuration intact.

Aug 26, 2026Netmaker disables certificate verification on the connection to the configured mail server.CVE-2026-81034 · Other software · gravitl · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.3
Netmaker disables certificate verification on the connection to the configured mail server. The sender in pro/email/smtp.go assigns a TLS configuration whose skip-verify field is set to true unconditionally, directly beneath a comment stating that the setting should be false in production. No configuration value governs it and no code path restores verification, so the client accepts any certificate the mail server presents, including one an interposing party supplies. Mail that Netmaker sends over that connection includes password-reset messages carrying single-use tokens and user invitations carrying enrolment links, so a party positioned on the path between the server and its mail relay can read those messages in transit and use a captured reset token before the intended recipient does. The setting is absent from the development branch but present in the latest release.

Aug 26, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: disallow multiple FENCE chunks in one submit amdgpu_cs_pass1() dispatches on cCVE-2026-80539 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: disallow multiple FENCE chunks in one submit amdgpu_cs_pass1() dispatches on chunk_id once per chunk without rejecting repeated ids. p->uf_bo is a single-slot field, so a submission carrying two AMDGPU_CHUNK_ID_FENCE chunks runs amdgpu_cs_p1_user_fence() twice, and the second run overwrites p->uf_bo with a freshly referenced BO without dropping the reference taken by the first. amdgpu_cs_parser_fini() only unrefs the final p->uf_bo, so every FENCE chunk but the last leaks a BO reference. The leaked BO outlives handle close and process exit. Reject duplicate FENCE chunks the same way commit fec5f8e8c6bc ("drm/amdgpu: disallow multiple BO_HANDLES chunks in one submit") did for p->bo_list. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: validate cookie AUTH state before use When cookie authentication is disabled, COOKIE_ECHO restores fixed-size AUTH fields directly from peer-controlled cookie bytes. A forged RANDOM length, HMAC list, or CHUNKS list can then reach association consumers with lengths or identifiers that were never validated against the local backing arrays. A forged RANDOM length can cause out-of-bounds reads during key-vector construction. A forged HMAC identifier also caused a 32-byte write past a zero-length AUTH chunk, providing a primitive for a local privilege escalation chain. Validate the cookie's RANDOM, HMACS, and CHUNKS parameters at the cookie trust boundary before copying them into the association. Reject invalid types, malformed lengths, unsupported HMAC identifiers, HMAC lists without SHA1, and forbidden chunk ids.

Aug 25, 2026X-AnyLabeling's model downloader disabled TLS certificate verification.CVE-2026-79785 · Other software · CVHub520 · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.2
X-AnyLabeling's model downloader disabled TLS certificate verification. download_with_retry in anylabeling/services/auto_labeling/model.py built a context with ssl._create_unverified_context() and passed it to urllib.request.urlopen, so neither the certificate chain nor the hostname was checked on any model download, and models are fetched over HTTPS from the project's release host. Any party positioned to intercept that connection could therefore answer it with content of their own choosing. The response is written to a .part file and moved into place with os.replace, and the only post-download check, safe_check_model, validates the file's format rather than its provenance: no hash or signature is compared against an expected value. For an ONNX target the substituted file passes onnx.checker.check_model and is then used for inference, so the attacker chooses the model that produces the application's annotations. For a .pth or .pt target, which the shipped SAM2 video, YOLOE, UPN and open_vision configurations use, the check worker calls torch.load without weights_only, so a substituted file is unpickled and executes code of the attacker's choosing on PyTorch releases predating the

GitPython before 3.1.59 fails to disable merge_includes when parsing .gitmodules, allowing attackers to disclose local file content by including arbitrary file paths via [include] directives. Attackers can craft a malicious .gitmodules file with include directives pointing to sensitive files; when repo.submodules is accessed, GitConfigParser raises MissingSectionHeaderError embedding the target file's first line verbatim in the exception message.

Aug 24, 2026Rocq Prover does not restore the universe graph's copy of the universe checking flag when a module that locally disabled the check is closed.CVE-2026-72714 · Other software · rocq-prover · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.8
Rocq Prover does not restore the universe graph's copy of the universe checking flag when a module that locally disabled the check is closed. Local Unset Universe Checking inside a module is expected to last only until the module ends, and the global flag is restored, but the universe graph keeps its own copy which is left disabled. The two views then disagree: Test Universe Checking reports the check as enabled while the kernel continues to accept universe-inconsistent terms. With the constraint between two universes no longer enforced, Hurkens' paradox applies and yields a proof of False, from which any proposition follows. The proof uses no axioms, plugins or unsafe features once the module has closed, and Print Assumptions reports it as closed under the global context, so neither the assumption audit nor the flag query reflects the actual kernel state. No fix is available.

Aug 24, 2026Print Assumptions does not report that a definition was produced while universe checking was disabled when that definition reaches the caller through Parameter CVE-2020-37268 · Other software · rocq-prover · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.8
Print Assumptions does not report that a definition was produced while universe checking was disabled when that definition reaches the caller through Parameter Inline in a module type. Applying a functor inlines the body of the parameter, and the inlining drops the record that the term was built under Unset Universe Checking, so the resulting constant carries no trace of the unsafe operation. A module implementation can therefore prove False using a universe inconsistency, expose it through an inlined parameter, and have Print Assumptions report the dependent proof as closed under the global context. Because Print Assumptions is the in-process audit used to confirm that a development rests on no unexpected assumptions, a dependency built this way passes that audit while proving arbitrary propositions. The standalone checker coqchk does reject the resulting compiled file. The project records this in dev/doc/critical-bugs.md under non-fixed bugs and rates the risk as moderate when coqchk is not used.

Aug 24, 2026Xinference loads models with Hugging Face remote code execution unconditionally enabled, and before version 2.12.0 exposes no setting to disable it.CVE-2026-76841 · Other software · xorbitsai · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
Xinference loads models with Hugging Face remote code execution unconditionally enabled, and before version 2.12.0 exposes no setting to disable it. Six loader call sites pass trust_remote_code=True as a literal or as an unconditional default: RerankModel._get_tokenizer in xinference/model/rerank/core.py, SentenceTransformerRerankModel.load in xinference/model/rerank/sentence_transformers/core.py, SentenceTransformerEmbeddingModel.load in xinference/model/embedding/sentence_transformers/core.py, FlagEmbeddingModel.load in xinference/model/embedding/flag/core.py, and two sites in xinference/model/llm/transformers/core.py where PytorchModel._sanitize_model_config and PytorchModel._get_components default the value to True. Because a caller with model launch access can register a model whose type is unknown and supply an arbitrary model path, the server reaches _auto_detect_type and then AutoTokenizer.from_pretrained, which imports and executes Python declared by the model directory's own tokenizer_config.json auto_map, running attacker-supplied code with the privileges of the worker process. Version 2.12.0 gates every site behind allow_trust_remote_code and the XINFERENCE_TRUST_REMOTE

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: pca953x: fix pca953x_irq_bus_sync_unlock regmap lock Locking is disabled in the regmap config as this driver uses its own lock. This means that all calls to regmap functions (read or write) must hold the i2c_lock. The function pca953x_irq_bus_sync_unlock() did not do this, and it was therefore possible that multiple threads could cause an incorrect register to be read/written. A previous patch partly fixed this, but only protected the write to the interrupt mask register, and not the read from the direction register.

Aug 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Skip sub-disable teardown for never-linked sub-schedulers A sub-scheduler enablCVE-2026-74731 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Skip sub-disable teardown for never-linked sub-schedulers A sub-scheduler enable can fail before scx_link_sched() links the sched into the hierarchy, e.g. when the parent is already being disabled, and cleanup still runs the full scx_sub_disable(). That is racy against root disable: drain_descendants() is the only ordering between a sub's disable-time task walk and root disable's all-task teardown, and an unlinked sub is invisible to it. Root's teardown can thus run between the never-linked sub's drain and its walk, exiting every task to no scheduler. The walk then trips the membership WARN and re-homes the exited tasks onto the dying hierarchy, a use-after-free. Skip the cgroup ownership reset and the task walk if @sch was never linked, indicated by the empty ->sibling as unlinking only happens later in the same function. The membership WARN remains valid: a linked sub is always waited on by an ancestor's drain.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bnxt_en: Disable EOP for TPA on all chips to prevent data corruption EOP (End of frame padding) on the AGG ring may cause overlapping of zero padding at the end of one segment with the next segment's data. If Relaxed Ordering (RO) is enabled, the zero padding may overwrite valid data in the next segment and corrupt the data. Older chips (P5 and older) do not automatically disable RO when EOP is enabled. On some ARM systems, data corruption was reported on 57508 (P5) chips with RO enabled. Always disable EOP on all chips on the AGG rings when TPA is enabled to fix the data corruption.

Aug 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: stop estimator after disabled calc phase IPVS estimator kthread 0 starts with zeroedCVE-2026-74670 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: stop estimator after disabled calc phase IPVS estimator kthread 0 starts with zeroed chain and tick limits until its initial calculation phase completes. If network namespace teardown clears ipvs->enable during that phase, ip_vs_est_calc_phase() can return without installing positive limits. The kthread can then continue into its main loop and drain est_temp_list with zero chain_max, tick_max and est_max_count values. Each enqueue consumes one available tick row, but est_count never reaches the zero est_max_count value. After all rows are consumed, the row lookup returns IPVS_EST_NTICKS and ip_vs_enqueue_estimator() writes past the ticks and tick_len arrays. Exit kthread 0 after the calculation phase if the kthread is stopping or IPVS has been disabled. That keeps temporary estimators from being drained after the limits failed to initialize. Estimator kthreads can now self-exit before teardown or reload stops kd->task. Keep an extra task reference after creation and release it with kthread_stop_put(), so kd->task remains valid until the stop paths consume that reference.

Netty (io.netty:netty-handler) versions from 4.2.0.Final through 4.2.16.Final and versions through 4.1.136.Final disable TLS hostname verification on the SslProvider.OPENSSL client path when a plain (non-extended) X509TrustManager is used and Unsafe-based trust-manager wrapping is unavailable (Java 25+). In this configuration the OpenSSL client does not perform hostname verification, allowing a man-in-the-middle attacker to present a certificate issued for a different hostname that is accepted without validation. Fixed in 4.2.17.Final and 4.1.137.Final.

Aug 20, 2026Capstone is a disassembly framework.CVE-2026-55894 · Other software · capstone-engine · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
Capstone is a disassembly framework. In 6.0.0-Alpha9 and earlier, Capstone's arch/SH/SHDisassembler.c sh_disassemble() function computes an idx value from a raw 16-bit instruction without ensuring it is within the active mode-specific decode[] function-pointer table. An application using CS_ARCH_SH with CS_MODE_SH2A or CS_MODE_SH4A and CS_MODE_SHFPU can pass crafted bytecode through cs_disasm_iter() or cs_disasm(), causing the decode[idx] test to read outside the table and terminate the process with a segmentation fault. No code execution or information disclosure was demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 6.0.0-Alpha10.

Aug 20, 2026Capstone is a disassembly framework.CVE-2026-55893 · Other software · capstone-engine · reported by GitHubHigh 7.3
Capstone is a disassembly framework. In 6.0.0-Alpha9 and earlier, Capstone's arch/SH/SHDisassembler.c SH floating-point decoders such as opFADD, opFMUL, and opFSUB call set_reg() and set_reg_n() using sh_info.op.op_count without checking the fixed-size operands[] array. Repeated crafted instructions processed through cs_disasm_iter() or cs_disasm() with CS_ARCH_SH, CS_MODE_SH2A or CS_MODE_SH4A, CS_MODE_SHFPU, and CS_OPT_DETAIL can increment the operand count beyond the 176-byte sh_info allocation and perform a four-byte heap buffer overflow write. The corruption can crash the process and may enable code execution depending on heap layout. This issue is fixed in version 6.0.0-Alpha10.

Aug 19, 2026LMDeploy deserializes disaggregated-serving peer messages with pickle.CVE-2026-76850 · Other software · InternLM · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3
LMDeploy deserializes disaggregated-serving peer messages with pickle. The handle_zmq_recv coroutine in lmdeploy/pytorch/disagg/conn/engine_conn.py reads peer-to-peer cache-free requests with recv_pyobj(), which deserializes the received bytes with pickle.loads(), and the isinstance check against DistServeCacheFreeRequest runs only after deserialization has already completed. The peer that supplies those bytes is caller-controlled: p2p_connect passes remote_engine_endpoint_info.zmq_address from the request body to connect() on the ZMQ PULL socket, and the POST /distserve/p2p_initialize and /distserve/p2p_connect endpoints in lmdeploy/serve/openai/api_server.py apply no authentication unless the server is started with api_keys, which defaults to None. A remote attacker can direct an engine to pull from a ZMQ endpoint under their control and execute arbitrary code in the engine process. Deployments that do not enable disaggregated serving are not affected, because the receive loop is only started once the migration backend accepts the connection.
