Sep 30, 2026Claude Code selected an API key stored by Claude Code, for example from an earlier `/login` or written directly to its configuration, ahead of the user's valid CVE-2026-103012 · Other software · Anthropic · reported by 98a01053-8a31-4f6d-9aa9-252be161adc6Low 2
Claude Code selected an API key stored by Claude Code, for example from an earlier `/login` or written directly to its configuration, ahead of the user's valid Claude Enterprise or Team sign-in when fetching the organization's server-managed settings, even though the session itself authenticated with the Enterprise or Team account. When the settings endpoint rejected that stored key, the session started without the organization's server-managed policy (such as permission deny rules, model restrictions and managed-only locks) or, if a previously cached copy existed on the machine, kept applying that stale copy without receiving later policy changes — while continuing to operate as the organization's account. Triggering this required local access to a device with such a stored API key; the no-policy case additionally required that no managed settings had previously been cached. Endpoint-managed (MDM or file-based) settings were not affected. Claude for Enterprise organizations were affected from version 2.0.68; Claude for Work (Team) organizations from version 2.1.38, when server-managed settings became available to them. Users on standard Claude Code auto-update have received this

Apache Karaf's shell/SSH command security is enforced by per-scope ACL configuration files (etc/org.apache.karaf.command.acl.<scope>.cfg). SecuredSessionFactoryImpl.checkSecurity() resolves the roles required for an invocation and, when no ACL rule matches the command, fails open: ACLConfigurationParser.Specificity.NO_MATCH sets passCheck = true. The safety valve for this, karaf.secured.command.compulsory.roles, ships commented out in etc/system.properties, so an unmatched command is allowed for any authenticated user. The shipped org.apache.karaf.command.acl.config ACL (assemblies/features/standard/src/main/feature/feature.xml, mirrored into instance/.../etc/org.apache.karaf.command.acl.config.cfg) has no install entry. It restricts delete to admin, restricts edit/property-*/update on the jmx.acl.*, org.apache.karaf.command.acl.* and org.apache.karaf.service.acl.* PIDs to admin, and allows manager for everything else, but config:install was simply unmatched, and therefore allowed for any authenticated user, including one holding only the viewer role. config:install <url> <finalname> fetches url and writes it into ${karaf.etc} as finalname. Sep 28, 2026Missing Authentication for Critical Function in Apache Roller 6.1.5 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to persistently change a site-global configurationCVE-2026-82383 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.2
Missing Authentication for Critical Function in Apache Roller 6.1.5 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to persistently change a site-global configuration value (the frontpage weblog selection) on any installed instance, because the setup action remains anonymously reachable after installation and persists configuration without an authorization check. No optional feature or non-default configuration is required; the result can redirect or break the site's public frontpage, with administrative recovery available. Sep 27, 2026utcp-mcp (the MCP plugin of python-utcp) through 1.1.2 connects to the HTTP and WebSocket MCP server URLs given in a call template's mcpServers configuration wiCVE-2026-101057 · Other software · universal-tool-calling-protocol · reported by VulnCheckLow 2.3
utcp-mcp (the MCP plugin of python-utcp) through 1.1.2 connects to the HTTP and WebSocket MCP server URLs given in a call template's mcpServers configuration without the ensure_secure_url validation that the HTTP-family plugins apply, so the HTTPS/WSS-or-loopback rule is not enforced. A call template naming a plain-HTTP, non-loopback MCP server URL is dialed as configured, exposing the MCP handshake to network interception and permitting cleartext connections to internal hosts. The mcpServers configuration is operator-authored rather than remote data, and the connection is an MCP handshake rather than an arbitrary request returning a body, which limits practical exploitation; the OAuth2 token_url credential path described in the original report was not reachable in the affected versions, because the OAuth2 handler was never invoked and the call template's auth field was not read. Fixed in utcp-mcp 1.1.3, which validates server URLs before any connection is made.

Sep 26, 2026Contrast (Edgeless Systems) through 1.20.0 performs unanchored suffix matching when selecting per-registry configuration in the imagepuller.CVE-2026-100837 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.3
Contrast (Edgeless Systems) through 1.20.0 performs unanchored suffix matching when selecting per-registry configuration in the imagepuller. Config.registryFor strips a single trailing dot and then uses strings.HasSuffix(hostname, fqdn) without requiring a DNS label boundary, so a registry entry such as [registries."ghcr.io."] is also applied to any host whose name merely ends in that byte sequence, including attacker-registered domains such as evilghcr.io. When an image or layer is pulled from such a sibling domain, the imagepuller sends the configured Authorization header (basic auth, registry token, or identity token), trusts the configured custom CA bundle, follows the configured mirror, and honours insecure-skip-verify (disabling TLS verification) for that host. Image integrity is not affected, as image bytes remain pinned by digest in the policy and are validated after the pull. Configurations that use a leading dot (e.g., [registries.".example.registry"]) are unaffected.

Sep 26, 2026Grav before 2.0.25 ships web server configuration samples whose access-control deny rules are matched case-sensitively.CVE-2026-100669 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
Grav before 2.0.25 ships web server configuration samples whose access-control deny rules are matched case-sensitively. In webserver-configs/web.config (IIS), every deny rule (user_sensitive_folders, user_accounts, user_data, user_error_redirect, user_pages, system, vendor, ignore_folders) sets ignoreCase="false" on its URL Rewrite <match> element, overriding the IIS default of ignoreCase="true"; because these are rewrite matches rather than <requestFiltering> elements, there is no case-insensitive fallback. On IIS running over case-insensitive NTFS, an unauthenticated remote attacker can vary the case of a folder name or file extension (for example GET /user/CONFIG/system.YAML) so that no deny rule matches and the IIS static file handler resolves and returns the underlying file, disclosing sensitive data such as configuration secrets or account password hashes. Whether a bypassed file is actually returned depends on MIME registration: .json is served by default, while .yaml/.yml return HTTP 404.3 on a stock IIS unless a YAML MIME mapping has been added. The same class of gap exists in the bundled webserver-configs/lighttpd.conf, whose user/(config|env), directory, script-extension

Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package openclaw) before 2026.8.1 could include deterministic hashes computed over the original, unredacted configuration in redacted configuratioCVE-2026-100543 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.7
OpenClaw (npm package openclaw) before 2026.8.1 could include deterministic hashes computed over the original, unredacted configuration in redacted configuration responses. When the Gateway password had low entropy and the remaining configuration values were reconstructable, these hashes acted as offline password verifiers: a caller able to obtain the redacted configuration (for example via config.get) could test password candidates offline without going through the rate-limited Gateway authentication path. Recovering the password could grant the documented shared-secret operator authority. Secret references were not affected in the same way. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 fails to revoke memory tool access when an operator hot-disables memory configuration.CVE-2026-100539 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckLow 2.1
OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 fails to revoke memory tool access when an operator hot-disables memory configuration. Existing memory_search and memory_get tool instances retain the enabled configuration captured at creation time because the execution-time resolver treats explicit disablement like an unavailable configuration snapshot and restores the stale authority. As a result, during an already-running agent turn the model can continue searching and reading durable memory after the operator revoked that access, for the remainder of that run. Exploitation requires memory to be disabled while a previously created memory tool remains active. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

LaunchConfigurationBaseSerializer.scm_branch has no validate_scm_branch() leading-dash check, unlike Project/JobTemplate/JobLaunch serializers. Schedule and WFJT Node accept --upload-pack=/bin/id as scm_branch. Currently blocked at runtime by jobs.py:1502 ValueError check (defense-in-depth), but the API validation gap means sole reliance on a task-layer guard. Refactoring that guard away would promote this to RCE.

Sep 22, 2026A typo in the MISP ACLComponent access control configuration caused the ACL rule for the previewEventAttributes action to reference the permission string 'themiCVE-2026-95805 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3
A typo in the MISP ACLComponent access control configuration caused the ACL rule for the previewEventAttributes action to reference the permission string 'theming_enabled*' (with a trailing asterisk) instead of the correct 'theming_enabled'. In the MISP ACL system, the array values define which role or permission grants access to a given controller action. The adjacent entry previewEventObjects correctly uses ['theming_enabled'], confirming the intended restriction. The malformed key 'theming_enabled*' does not match any valid permission identifier, causing the access control check for previewEventAttributes to malfunction. Depending on the ACL evaluation logic, this could result in either unauthorized users gaining access to the previewEventAttributes endpoint (authorization bypass) or legitimate users being denied access (availability impact). The previewEventAttributes endpoint exposes event attribute data within MISP so an authorization bypass could expose sensitive indicator and attribute data to users who should not have access.

Sep 21, 2026The experimental USB host stack allocates a per-device configuration-descriptor buffer, udev->cfg_desc, from the dedicated usb_device_heap in usbh_device_set_coCVE-2026-17050 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.7
The experimental USB host stack allocates a per-device configuration-descriptor buffer, udev->cfg_desc, from the dedicated usb_device_heap in usbh_device_set_configuration() (subsys/usb/host/usbh_device.c). On three failure paths — a failed full-length GET_DESCRIPTOR(CONFIGURATION) read, a mismatch between the short and full descriptor reads, and a rejected descriptor in parse_configuration_descriptor() — the buffer was released with k_heap_free() but the pointer was left dangling. The cleanup in usbh_device_free() is guarded only by if (udev->cfg_desc != NULL), so it frees the same block a second time. The path is driven entirely by the attached peripheral: usbh_device_connect() calls usbh_device_init(), which ends in usbh_device_set_configuration(), and on failure usbh_device_connect() calls usbh_device_free(). On v4.4.x this happens during the same enumeration, with no unplug required; on v4.1.0–v4.3.x the second free instead arrives via dev_removed_handler()/dev_connected_handler() in subsys/usb/host/usbh_core.c, so it requires a removal or duplicate-connect event after the failed enumeration — a sequence the attached device fully controls. Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
