  • Aug 18, 2026ArcadeDB server (com.arcadedb:arcadedb-server) in versions 26.7.3 and earlier fails to propagate the authenticated principal to asynchronous command worker threCVE-2026-75851 · Other software · ArcadeData · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.4

ArcadeDB server (com.arcadedb:arcadedb-server) in versions 26.7.3 and earlier fails to propagate the authenticated principal to asynchronous command worker threads. When an HTTP command is submitted with awaitResponse:false, it executes on an async worker whose DatabaseContext has no bound user, causing the scripting authorization gate to become a no-op. A user with only read access to a single database can submit an asynchronous JavaScript (language=js) command via the /api/v1/command endpoint to run code with unrestricted host access (e.g., database.getSecurity().createUser) and create a server-wide administrator, escalating to full administrative control. Fixed in 26.8.1.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: SUNRPC: pin upper rpc_clnt across the TLS connect_worker The TLS connect path has a use-after-free: nothing pins the upper rpc_clnt across the delayed connect_worker. xs_connect() stores task->tk_client in sock_xprt::clnt as a raw pointer and queues the worker; for TLS-secured transports that worker is xs_tcp_tls_setup_socket(), which reads several fields out of the saved pointer (cl_timeout, cl_program, cl_prog, cl_vers, cl_cred, cl_stats) to construct the args for the inner handshake rpc_clnt. The xprt does not reference the rpc_clnt; the rpc_clnt references the xprt. xs_destroy() does cancel the connect_worker, but it runs only when the xprt's refcount drops to zero, which cannot happen until the rpc_clnt releases its cl_xprt reference in rpc_free_client_work(). When a TLS handshake fails fatally (for example, an mTLS mount whose client cert does not match the server), the connecting task is woken with -EACCES and exits, the mount caller invokes rpc_shutdown_client(), and the upper rpc_clnt is freed before the queued connect_worker fires. xs_tcp_tls_setup_socket() then dereferences the freed clnt, producing t

  • Aug 10, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mac802154: hold an interface reference across the scan worker mac802154_scan_worker() captCVE-2026-68126 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mac802154: hold an interface reference across the scan worker mac802154_scan_worker() captures the scanning sub-interface under RCU and then keeps dereferencing sdata->dev after rcu_read_unlock() and outside the rtnl -- in the failure traces, in mac802154_transmit_beacon_req() (skb->dev = sdata->dev), and in the end_scan cleanup. Nothing keeps that netdev alive across the worker iteration. A concurrent DEL_INTERFACE or PHY removal can unregister the interface once the worker drops the rtnl between its two drv_set_channel() sections. unregister_netdevice() frees the netdev asynchronously from netdev_run_todo() with the rtnl already dropped, so neither holding the rtnl nor the per-PHY IEEE802154_IS_SCANNING flag prevents a stale worker iteration from dereferencing the freed netdev -- a KASAN slab-use-after-free, reachable by racing TRIGGER_SCAN against DEL_INTERFACE (both CAP_NET_ADMIN). Pin the netdev with netdev_hold() while the RCU read lock is still held, and release it at every worker exit.

  • Jul 31, 2026LightFTP 2.3.1 contains a residual race condition vulnerability (an incomplete fix for CVE-2024-11144) in the worker_thread_cleanup() function of ftpserv.c thatCVE-2026-67607 · Other software · hfiref0x · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.2

LightFTP 2.3.1 contains a residual race condition vulnerability (an incomplete fix for CVE-2024-11144) in the worker_thread_cleanup() function of ftpserv.c that allows remote unauthenticated attackers to destabilize or crash the daemon by triggering unsynchronized access to shared per-connection state without holding the required mutex lock. Attackers can send a data-transfer command such as LIST followed immediately by ABOR to exploit the missing synchronization on shared context and detached thread id reuse, resulting in daemon destabilization or crash which can lead to a denial of service. The 2.3.1 patch only narrowed the timing window (an extra re-check and reordered cleanup), it never added the missing lock, so the underlying race remains.

  • Jul 30, 2026A flaw was found in yggdrasil-worker-package-manager.CVE-2026-18157 · Other software · RedHatInsights · reported by Red HatHigh 7.8

A flaw was found in yggdrasil-worker-package-manager. A local attacker with existing access to the system could exploit an argument injection vulnerability in the APT backend. This allows specially crafted package names, which begin with a hyphen, to be misinterpreted as command options by apt-get. Successful exploitation could lead to remote code execution (RCE) with root privileges, enabling the attacker to fully compromise the system's integrity, confidentiality, and availability.

  • Jul 28, 2026A use-after-free condition exists in pglogical's worker signaling code, where a worker structure can be dereferenced after the underlying slot has been freed orCVE-2026-50738 · Other software · EnterpriseDB · reported by 20be33e2-bf35-4d13-8fad-18bd2f3e3659High 7.7

A use-after-free condition exists in pglogical's worker signaling code, where a worker structure can be dereferenced after the underlying slot has been freed or recycled during normal worker lifecycle events. The condition is reachable during normal replication operation, including by a low-privileged user able to influence worker start, stop, and restart timing through permitted pglogical operations. In the typical case the condition crashes replication workers, causing an availability impact. In the worst case a use-after-free in a PostgreSQL backend can be leveraged as a remote code execution primitive at the privilege of that backend.

  • Jul 28, 2026pglogical's apply worker does not sufficiently validate the length of certain fields in incoming replication protocol messages before copying them, resulting inCVE-2026-50735 · Other software · EnterpriseDB · reported by 20be33e2-bf35-4d13-8fad-18bd2f3e3659Medium 6.1

pglogical's apply worker does not sufficiently validate the length of certain fields in incoming replication protocol messages before copying them, resulting in an out-of-bounds read. A party acting as the publisher for a subscription, for example a non-PostgreSQL endpoint that speaks the pglogical replication protocol, can return crafted messages that cause the subscriber's apply worker to read beyond the bounds of an allocated buffer, disclosing adjacent process memory or crashing the worker. To exploit the issue an attacker must be able to direct a subscription at an endpoint they control. In default installations this requires privileges normally reserved for a superuser, so the issue is most relevant to managed deployments where the ability to create subscriptions has been delegated to non-superuser roles.

TinyWeb through 0.0.8 contains a null pointer dereference vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to crash worker processes by sending a malformed HTTP request line with an invalid version string. The HttpParser::execute() function fails to allocate the Url object when version parsing fails, leaving the url pointer NULL, and buildResponse() subsequently dereferences this NULL pointer without checking the valid_requ flag, producing a SIGSEGV that terminates the worker process and, when repeated across all workers, takes the server permanently offline until manually restarted.

piscina is a node.js worker pool implementation. Prior to 6.0.0-rc.2, 5.2.0, and 4.9.3, piscina's constructor and run() paths read the filename option via plain member access. Both reads fall through the prototype chain when the caller's options object doesn't have filename as an own property. • Jun 1, 2026A bug in Apache Airflow's KubernetesExecutor caused JWT tokens used by worker pods to authenticate against the Execution API to be passed to the worker containeCVE-2026-49298 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.8

A bug in Apache Airflow's KubernetesExecutor caused JWT tokens used by worker pods to authenticate against the Execution API to be passed to the worker container as command-line arguments visible in the pod spec. An authenticated UI/API user with Kubernetes read-only access to the cluster (e.g. `pods/get` in the Airflow namespace) could harvest the JWT from `kubectl describe pod` output and then call state-mutating Execution API endpoints — triggering Dag runs, clearing runs, reading or writing Variables / Connections / XComs — as if they were a running task. Affects deployments using the `KubernetesExecutor`. Users are advised to upgrade to `apache-airflow` 3.2.2 or later. This is the airflow-core half of the same vulnerability addressed by [CVE-2026-27173](https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-27173), which shipped the apache-airflow-providers-cncf-kubernetes side of the fix. Deployments that already upgraded `apache-airflow-providers-cncf-kubernetes` to 10.17.0 or later per the CVE-2026-27173 advisory should additionally upgrade `apache-airflow` to 3.2.2 or later to close the core-side surface — the two fixes are complementary, not duplicates.

  • Jun 1, 2026Exploitation requires the attacker to already be an authenticated Airflow worker holding a valid Log-server JWT issued for at least one Dag.CVE-2026-45426 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgLow 3.1

Exploitation requires the attacker to already be an authenticated Airflow worker holding a valid Log-server JWT issued for at least one Dag. Apache Airflow's Log server authorized JWT tokens against Dag IDs by applying Python's `str.lstrip()` to the requested path segment when verifying the JWT's `sub` claim. `str.lstrip()` strips any of a *set* of characters from the left (not a prefix), so a JWT issued for a Dag named e.g. `dag_a` would authorize log access to any other Dag whose name began with any subset of the characters `{d, a, g, _}` (e.g. `dag_attacker`, `aaaa_target`, `_dag_secret`). Such an authenticated worker could enumerate and read worker logs of other Dags whose names happened to share that character-class prefix, leaking task output and error traces beyond the documented per-Dag isolation boundary. Affects deployments relying on per-Dag log-access scoping (multi-team, shared-executor, shared-worker topologies). Users are advised to upgrade to `apache-airflow` 3.2.2 or later.

  • May 14, 2026ManageWP Worker: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-3718 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The ManageWP Worker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'MWP-Key-Name' HTTP request header in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.31. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of attacker-controlled header values. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever an administrator visits the plugin's connection management page with debug parameters.

  • May 13, 2026Loop with Unreachable Exit Condition ('Infinite Loop') vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows unauthenticated remote denial of service via worker process exhausCVE-2026-39806 · Other software · mtrudel · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.7

Loop with Unreachable Exit Condition ('Infinite Loop') vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows unauthenticated remote denial of service via worker process exhaustion. 'Elixir.Bandit.HTTP1.Socket':do_read_chunked_data!/5 in lib/bandit/http1/socket.ex terminates only when the last-chunk line 0\r\n is followed immediately by the empty trailer line \r\n. RFC 9112 §7.1.2 permits zero or more trailer fields between them. When trailers are present, none of the match clauses fit: the catch-all arm computes a negative to_read, calls read_available!/2, receives <<>> on timeout, and tail-recurses with unchanged state. The worker process is pinned for the lifetime of the TCP connection. A handful of concurrent connections sending RFC-conformant chunked requests with trailer fields is sufficient to exhaust the Bandit worker pool and render the server unresponsive to all further traffic. No authentication, special headers, or large payload is required. Proxies such as NGINX and HAProxy legitimately forward trailer-bearing requests, so servers behind such proxies may be affected without any malicious client involvement. This issue affects bandit: from 1.6.1 before 1.11.1.

  • May 8, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: Avoid double-rtnl_lock ELP metric worker batadv_v_elp_get_throughput() might bCVE-2026-43382 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: Avoid double-rtnl_lock ELP metric worker batadv_v_elp_get_throughput() might be called when the RTNL lock is already held. This could be problematic when the work queue item is cancelled via cancel_delayed_work_sync() in batadv_v_elp_iface_disable(). In this case, an rtnl_lock() would cause a deadlock. To avoid this, rtnl_trylock() was used in this function to skip the retrieval of the ethtool information in case the RTNL lock was already held. But for cfg80211 interfaces, batadv_get_real_netdev() was called - which also uses rtnl_lock(). The approach for __ethtool_get_link_ksettings() must also be used instead and the lockless version __batadv_get_real_netdev() has to be called.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: chips-media: wave5: Fix kthread worker destruction in polling mode Fix the cleanup order in polling mode (irq < 0) to prevent kernel warnings during module removal. Cancel the hrtimer before destroying the kthread worker to ensure work queues are empty. In polling mode, the driver uses hrtimer to periodically trigger wave5_vpu_timer_callback() which queues work via kthread_queue_work(). The kthread_destroy_worker() function validates that both work queues are empty with WARN_ON(!list_empty(&worker->work_list)) and WARN_ON(!list_empty(&worker->delayed_work_list)). The original code called kthread_destroy_worker() before hrtimer_cancel(), creating a race condition where the timer could fire during worker destruction and queue new work, triggering the WARN_ON. This causes the following warning on every module unload in polling mode: ------------[ cut here ]------------ WARNING: CPU: 2 PID: 1034 at kernel/kthread.c:1430 kthread_destroy_worker+0x84/0x98 Modules linked in: wave5(-) rpmsg_ctrl rpmsg_char ...
