  • Sep 1, 2026Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime.CVE-2026-84364 · Other software · honojs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. Prior to 4.13.5, when parseBody() expands dot-separated form field names into nested objects with dot-notation parsing enabled, it does not limit the nesting depth or the total number of intermediate objects created. Empty segments are preserved, so one deeply dotted field name can encode one nesting level per byte, while a large number of shallowly dotted fields can create the same amplification across a request. A request body within a normal size limit can therefore allocate an object graph far larger than the request after the body has already been accepted. An unauthenticated attacker who can reach an affected endpoint can send concurrent requests that exhaust the JavaScript heap, terminate the server process, and leave the service unavailable until restart. Dot-notation parsing is not enabled by default, and applications using the default behavior are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.13.5.

  • Sep 1, 2026Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime.CVE-2026-84363 · Other software · honojs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. Prior to 4.13.5, Hono's query helpers treat a question mark after a literal hash fragment as the start of a query string, so the application can read request parameters that browsers, new URL(), reverse proxies, filtering rules, parameter allow and deny lists, access logging, request validation, and other middleware do not observe. The Cache Middleware removes the fragment when building its cache key, allowing a response influenced by parameters inside the fragment to be stored under a key that omits those parameters and later served to other users. This can bypass filtering and auditing, poison cached responses, and enable stored cross-site scripting when an affected parameter is reflected into cached HTML without escaping. Exploitation requires a runtime and intermediary path that passes a literal hash character through to the request URL; Cloudflare Workers and intermediaries that strip fragments are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.13.5.

  • Aug 31, 2026Improper validation of resource URL attributes in Apache Wicket allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to read files from the web application, including fileCVE-2026-70449 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.3

Improper validation of resource URL attributes in Apache Wicket allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to read files from the web application, including files under WEB-INF that the servlet container would not otherwise serve. The locale, style and variation attributes decoded from a package resource URL are spliced into the resource lookup path without being checked for path separators. The IPackageResourceGuard — whose rejection of .. is one of the two intended controls — is applied to the resource name before those attributes are appended, and WebApplicationPath rejects only paths literally beginning with WEB-INF/. Neither control ever inspects the attacker-controlled portion of the path. On servlet containers that normalize .. in ServletContext.getResource(), a crafted request therefore escapes the intended package directory. The set of readable files is limited to the file extensions permitted by the configured IPackageResourceGuard. The default SecurePackageResourceGuard permits only js, css, png, jpg, jpeg, gif, ico, cur, map, html, txt, swf, bmp, svg, avif, eot, ttf, woff and woff2, which excludes configuration formats. • Aug 26, 2026Frappe is a full-stack web application framework written in Python and JavaScript.CVE-2026-66003 · Other software · frappe · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Frappe is a full-stack web application framework written in Python and JavaScript. Prior to version 15.115.0, an access control bypass in the REST API allows a user to read data from Linked DocTypes that they are not authorized to access. When a document references another document through a Link field, the framework does not consistently enforce the linked DocType's own permissions when the record is retrieved through the REST API, so a low-privileged authenticated user can obtain fields from linked records outside their permitted scope. This issue is fixed in version 15.115.0.

  • Aug 25, 2026Mesop is a Python-based UI framework that allows users to build web applications.CVE-2026-77357 · Other software · mesop-dev · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

Mesop is a Python-based UI framework that allows users to build web applications. Prior to 1.3.3, applications running in debug mode expose a GET /hot-reload endpoint whose unbounded loop depends on the user-supplied counter parameter, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to hold worker threads with high counter values until the worker pool is exhausted and the server becomes unavailable. A single unauthenticated attacker can crash the Mesop server with minimal effort. Because the attack leverages worker exhaustion, the server remains unresponsive until it is manually restarted. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.3.

  • Aug 7, 2026Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime.CVE-2026-69207 · Other software · honojs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. Prior to 4.12.34, the built-in CORS middleware, hono/cors, is vulnerable to a regular expression denial of service (ReDoS). During a preflight OPTIONS request, the middleware parses the attacker-controlled Access-Control-Request-Headers header using a whitespace-tolerant regular expression whose backtracking makes its running time quadratic in the input length. Because the header value is bounded only by the deployment's maximum HTTP header size, a single preflight carrying a long run of whitespace can consume seconds of CPU and block request processing. On runtimes that share one execution thread across requests, this stalls concurrent requests as well, and repeated requests can render the service unresponsive. This affects the default configuration, since the vulnerable path is reached whenever cors() is used with an unset or empty allowHeaders. Applications that set a non-empty allowHeaders are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.12.34.

  • Aug 7, 2026Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime.CVE-2026-71850 · Other software · honojs · reported by GitHubMedium 4.8

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. From 3.8.0 to 4.12.33, memo() from hono/jsx retains the result of a server side render and reuses it for later renders with comparator equal props, and request scoped values read inside the component take no part in that comparison, so a response can contain HTML rendered for another user's request. Components wrapped with memo() are compared by props alone; values read implicitly during rendering, such as JSX Context through createContext() and useContext(), useRequestContext() from hono/jsx-renderer, and getContext() from hono/context-storage, do not participate, and the retained result lives as long as the wrapped component, so it outlives the request that produced it. A user may receive a response containing HTML rendered for another user when both render the same memoized component with comparator equal props on the same warm instance, which may disclose another user's account or profile data, disclose request scoped secrets embedded in HTML such as CSRF tokens, or expose role specific content to users who should not receive it. This issue is fixed in version 4.12.34.

  • Aug 7, 2026Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime.CVE-2026-71849 · Other software · honojs · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. From 4.7.0 to 4.12.33, the Proxy Helper proxy() function in hono/proxy does not remove response headers named by the origin's Connection header. Per RFC 9110 Section 7.6.1, an intermediary must remove the header fields listed in a message's Connection header field before forwarding the message, in addition to the well known hop by hop headers, but the proxy() function only removed the well known hop by hop headers, including Connection itself, from origin responses. A client may therefore receive response headers that the origin intended only for its immediate peer, disclosing connection scoped or internal metadata contained in such headers, when an application proxies responses from an origin that declares additional, non standard headers as hop by hop via the Connection response header. This issue is fixed in version 4.12.34.

  • Aug 7, 2026Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime.CVE-2026-71848 · Other software · honojs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. From 4.12.0 to 4.12.33, the languageDetector middleware is vulnerable to algorithmic complexity denial of service when processing a crafted language tag containing a large number of hyphen separated subtags. To implement progressive language tag truncation, normalizeLanguage() repeatedly calls parts.slice(0, i).join('-') for every possible prefix, so the total amount of string processing grows quadratically with the number of subtags. Language values may come from a query parameter, cookie, Accept-Language header, or URL path, depending on the detector configuration, and the default detector order enables query string, cookie, and header detection, so applications using languageDetector() may expose this processing to unauthenticated requests. An attacker may repeatedly send requests containing long, hyphen separated language tags, causing excessive CPU consumption and preventing unrelated requests from being processed. This issue is fixed in version 4.12.34.

  • Aug 6, 2026OpenZeppelin Contracts Wizard is a web application to interactively build a contract out of components from OpenZeppelin Contracts.CVE-2026-48054 · Other software · OpenZeppelin · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

OpenZeppelin Contracts Wizard is a web application to interactively build a contract out of components from OpenZeppelin Contracts. Versions prior to 0.10.9 generate a Hardhat test file (`test/test.ts`) by interpolating user-supplied `opts.name` (ERC20/ERC721) and `opts.uri` (ERC1155) directly into TypeScript string literals at `zip-hardhat.ts:48` and `:50` without any JavaScript string escaping. No authentication is required: an attacker crafts a URL such as `https[:]//wizard[.]openzeppelin[.]com/#/erc20?name=");require("child_process").execSync("...");("` and shares it with a developer. When the victim downloads the resulting zip archive and runs `npx hardhat test`, the injected Node.js code executes with the developer's local OS privileges. Version 0.10.9 fixes the issue.

  • Jul 27, 2026Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications.CVE-2026-64649 · Other software · vercel · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3

Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. In versions 14.1.1 through 15.5.20 and 16.0.0 through 16.2.10, when a Server Action forwards or redirects a request, an attacker can cause the server to send that outbound request to a malicious host (Server-Side Request Forgery). This requires the attacker's request to control Host-associated headers. In some configurations, it's also possible to obtain internal values that weaken middleware/proxy authorization. Applications that use Server Actions are affected when the incoming host header is not fixed to a trusted value. This typically occurs on custom servers, or on deployments not behind a proxy that pins the host. Managed hosting pins the host upstream and is not affected; next start and standalone output do the same from version 14.2 onward. This issue has been fixed in versions 15.5.21 and 16.2.11.

  • Jul 27, 2026Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications.CVE-2026-64648 · Other software · vercel · reported by GitHubMedium 6

Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. In versions 12.0.0 through 15.5.20 and 16.0.0 through 16.2.10, a server-side fetch with a request body may return a cached response body from a different request to the same URL but different body. Confidential data in the POST's response body would then leak to unauthorized requests. Though the request itself will not be deduped. This only applies to fetch calls with a request that has a different init than the one passed to fetch. A safe request would be: fetch(new Request(init), init). An unsafe request would be: fetch(new Request(init), aDifferentInit). This issue has been fixed in versions 15.5.21 and 16.2.11.

This is only an issue when receiving request bodies with a content type charset other than UTF-8. For example, the UTF-16 byte sequences for 삃삃 and 섄섄 in the request body would share the same cache. • Jul 27, 2026Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications.CVE-2026-64645 · Other software · vercel · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3

Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. In versions 12.0.0 through 15.5.20 and 16.0.0 through 16.2.10, a rewrites() or redirects() rule that builds its external destination hostname from request-controlled input can be pointed at an arbitrary hostname, regardless of the rule's hostname suffix. For a rewrite, Next.js proxies the request to that arbitrary host and serves the response from the application's origin, leading to Server-Side Request forgery. A redirects() rule configured this way is vulnerable to an Open Redirect. This issue has been fixed in versions 15.5.21 and 16.2.11.

Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. In versions 15.5.0 through 15.5.20 and 16.0.0 through 16.2.10, when self-hosting Next.js with the default image loader, the Image Optimization API can optimize remotely hosted images if configured (not enabled by default). If those images contain malicious content, they can cause CPU exhaustion in /_next/image endpoints.Only config.images.remotePatterns is affected, and just the patterns in that array, whereas config.images.unoptimized: true, config.images.loader: 'custom', and Vercel are not impacted. Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. In versions 12.0.0 through 15.5.20 and 16.0.0 through 16.2.10, Next.js applications using App Router, Server Actions (use server) or use cache endpoints can be disclosed bypassing any authentication on the pages where these endpoints are usually used. Server Action IDs can be disclosed to unauthenticated users via publicly served client artifacts (for example, static chunks containing action references). Affected users are applications using App Router and Server Actions. By itself, this disclosure is typically a recon/enumeration primitive; however, it can increase risk when combined with other weaknesses. This issue has been fixed in versions 15.5.21 and 16.2.11.
