  • Jun 21, 2026Capgo before 12.128.2 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the /build/status and /build/logs endpoints that allows attackers to access build jobs bCVE-2026-56229 · Other software · Capgo · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1

Capgo before 12.128.2 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the /build/status and /build/logs endpoints that allows attackers to access build jobs belonging to different applications by supplying a mismatched app_id and job_id combination. Limited API keys restricted to a single app can retrieve build status and logs from other apps by providing an authorized app_id while using a job_id from an unauthorized app, exposing sensitive build information including logs, metadata, and potentially credentials.

  • Jun 18, 2026setupBpmLogs follows symlink for bpm.log open and chown — container-to-host privilege escalation via /etc/shadow.CVE-2026-47833 · Other software · Cloud Foundry Foundation · reported by security@vmware.comMedium 6.9

setupBpmLogs follows symlink for bpm.log open and chown — container-to-host privilege escalation via /etc/shadow. A compromised process inside a bpm container can cause root to chown an arbitrary host file to vcap and append bpm JSON log lines to it. The chown alone lets the attacker take ownership of /etc/shadow and read every password hash on the host via the read-only /etc bind mount. This is a container-to-host confidentiality break affecting every bpm-managed job. Affected versions: bpm-release, all versions prior to v1.4.30.

  • Jun 17, 2026Remark42 is a self-hosted comment engine for blogs, articles, or any other place where readers can add comments.CVE-2026-48788 · Other software · umputun · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

Remark42 is a self-hosted comment engine for blogs, articles, or any other place where readers can add comments. Versions 1.6.0 through 1.15.0 contain a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exploitable through content-type spoofing. The Remark42 image proxy fetches an arbitrary remote URL and re-serves the response from Remark42's own origin. During the download phase, the proxy determines whether the resource is an image by inspecting only the Content-Type header advertised by the remote server, never examining the actual bytes; during the serving phase, it instead derives the response Content-Type by sniffing those bytes with http.DetectContentType. An attacker can exploit this inconsistency by hosting a URL that advertises Content-Type: image/png while returning an HTML/JavaScript body: the download check accepts it as an image, the serving path sniffs the body and emits Content-Type: text/html, and the browser renders the attacker-controlled HTML/JavaScript as a document within Remark42's origin. Exploitation requires no Remark42 account on the target instance; the attacker only needs to host the malicious upstream URL and deliver the proxy link to a victim by any means, su

  • Jun 9, 2026Logseq exposes an IPC handler that allows the renderer process to execute shell commands.CVE-2026-9279 · Other software · logseq · reported by cvd@cert.plHigh 8.7

Logseq exposes an IPC handler that allows the renderer process to execute shell commands. While an allowlist restricts the command name (e.g. `git`, `pandoc`, `grep`), the argument string is concatenated with the command and passed to `child_process.spawn` with the `shell: true` option, allowing shell metacharacters in the arguments to bypass the allowlist. An attacker with JavaScript execution in the renderer (e.g. via XSS or a malicious plugin) can execute arbitrary shell commands with the privileges of the Logseq process, leading to remote code execution on the host. While only version v0.10.15 was tested and confirmed as vulnerable, status of other versions is unknown since this issue was not addressed by a patch.

Logseq is vulnerable to a sandbox escape flaw where plugins running in sandboxed iframes can inject arbitrary HTML attributes, such as event handlers, into their container element in the host DOM. Due to a disabled Content Security Policy (CSP), this allows a malicious plugin to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the privileged host context, potentially gaining unauthorized access to filesystem APIs. • Jun 6, 2026Debug Log Manager – Conveniently Monitor and Inspect Errors: Improper Output Neutralization for LogsCVE-2026-9016 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Debug Log Manager – Conveniently Monitor and Inspect Errors plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Improper Output Neutralization for Logs in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.0. This is due to the `log_js_errors()` AJAX handler being registered for unauthenticated users via `wp_ajax_nopriv_log_js_errors` and gated only by a nonce that is publicly disclosed in every front-end page's HTML through `wp_localize_script()` whenever JavaScript error logging is enabled, providing no real authorization barrier. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary forged entries into the site's WordPress debug log by supplying attacker-controlled values for the `message`, `script`, `lineNo`, `columnNo`, and `pageUrl` fields — enabling spoofing of error and incident records, obscuring malicious activity within fabricated log noise, and misleading administrators who rely on the log for triage. This vulnerability is only exploitable when the plugin's JavaScript error logging feature is enabled, as the requisite nonce is only published into the page HTML under that condition.

In Calico, the install-cni init container logs the rendered CNI configuration to standard output. When the configuration template uses the __SERVICEACCOUNT_TOKEN__ placeholder (Canal/Flannel-Calico deployments), the installer substitutes the live Kubernetes ServiceAccount bearer token before logging, exposing the token to any authenticated user with pods/log permission in the namespace with calico-node. The token holds patch privileges on pods/status, enabling annotation-based attacks against cluster workloads. The default kubeconfig-based authentication path is not affected. Vvveb is a powerful and easy to use CMS with page builder to build websites, blogs or ecommerce stores. Prior to 1.0.8.3, there is an authenticated SQL injection issue in the frontend user order history page in Vvveb CMS. A normal frontend user can log in and access /user/orders. The order_by and direction request parameters are accepted from the URL, propagated through the Orders component, and directly concatenated into the SQL ORDER BY clause in OrderSQL::getAll(). • May 15, 2026Vvveb is a powerful and easy to use CMS with page builder to build websites, blogs or ecommerce stores.CVE-2026-44826 · Other software · givanz · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Vvveb is a powerful and easy to use CMS with page builder to build websites, blogs or ecommerce stores. Prior to 1.0.8.2, Vvveb CMS does not validate the sign of the quantity parameter on the cart-add endpoint. Submitting a negative integer is accepted by the server and treated as a normal positive line-item, but with the sign carried through into every downstream computation: line total, sub-total, taxes, and grand total all become negative numbers. The customer-facing cart UI then displays a negative grand total to the user, the checkout flow accepts the negative cart, and the resulting order is persisted in the merchant's database with a negative total column. From the merchant's order management dashboard, this surfaces as a real order with a negative total — an "the merchant owes the customer money" record that no legitimate workflow ever creates. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.8.2.

CrowdStrike has released security updates to address a critical unauthenticated path traversal vulnerability (CVE-2026-40050) in LogScale. This vulnerability only requires mitigation by customers that host specific versions of LogScale and does not affect Next-Gen SIEM customers. The vulnerability exists in a specific cluster API endpoint that, if exposed, allows a remote attacker to read arbitrary files from the server filesystem without authentication. Next-Gen SIEM customers are not affected and do not need to take any action. CrowdStrike mitigated the vulnerability for LogScale SaaS customers by deploying network-layer blocks to all clusters on April 7, 2026. We have proactively reviewed all log data and there is no evidence of exploitation. LogScale Self-hosted customers should upgrade to a patched version immediately to remediate the vulnerability. CrowdStrike identified this vulnerability during continuous and ongoing product testing.

Versions prior to 2.1.3 are vulnerable to a critical Local File Inclusion (LFI) attack via the tpl parameter, which can lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE).The application fails to sanitize the tpl (template) parameter during page creation and updates. This parameter is passed directly to a require_once() statement without path validation. An authenticated administrator can exploit this by injecting path traversal sequences (../) into the tpl value to escape the intended theme directory and include arbitrary files — specifically, files from the server's media/ directory. When combined with the file upload functionality, this becomes a full RCE chain: an attacker can first upload a file with embedded PHP code (e.g., disguised as image data), then use the path traversal vulnerability to include that file via require_once(), executing the embedded code with web server privileges. This issue has been fixed in version 2.1.3.

ALEAPP (Android Logs Events And Protobuf Parser) through 3.4.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the NQ_Vault.py artifact parser that uses attacker-controlled file_name_from values from a database directly as the output filename, allowing arbitrary file writes outside the report output directory. An attacker can embed a path traversal payload such as ../../../outside_written.bin in the database to write files to arbitrary locations, potentially achieving code execution by overwriting executable files or configuration.

  • Apr 8, 2026Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory (CWE-22) in Logstash can lead to arbitrary file write and potentially remote code execution via RelaCVE-2026-33466 · Other software · Elastic · reported by security@elastic.coHigh 8.1

Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory (CWE-22) in Logstash can lead to arbitrary file write and potentially remote code execution via Relative Path Traversal (CAPEC-139). The archive extraction utilities used by Logstash do not properly validate file paths within compressed archives. An attacker who can serve a specially crafted archive to Logstash through a compromised or attacker-controlled update endpoint can write arbitrary files to the host filesystem with the privileges of the Logstash process. In certain configurations where automatic pipeline reloading is enabled, this can be escalated to remote code execution.

Airflow versions before 2.11.1 have a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with audit log access to see sensitive values in audit logs which they should not see. When sensitive connection parameters were set via airflow CLI, values of those variables appeared in the audit log and were stored unencrypted in the Airflow database. While this risk is limited to users with audit log access, it is recommended to upgrade to Airflow 2.11.1 or a later version, which addresses this issue. Users who previously used the CLI to set connections should manually delete entries with those connection sensitive values from the log table. This is similar but not the same issue as CVE-2024-50378

Intego Log Reporter, a macOS diagnostic utility bundled with Intego security products that collects system and application logs for support analysis, contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability. A root-executed diagnostic script creates and writes files in /tmp without enforcing secure directory handling, introducing a time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition. A local unprivileged user can exploit a symlink-based race condition to cause arbitrary file writes to privileged system locations, resulting in privilege escalation to root.
