  • Jul 1, 2026CGI::Session::ID::md5 versions before 4.49 for Perl generate predictable session ids from low-entropy sources.CVE-2026-56016 · Other software · MARKSTOS · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 5.9

    CGI::Session::ID::md5 versions before 4.49 for Perl generate predictable session ids from low-entropy sources. The generate_id method builds the session id from a MD5 digest of the process id, the epoch time, and the built-in rand() function. All three are predictable, low-entropy sources: the PID is drawn from a small range, the epoch time can be guessed or read from the HTTP Date header, and Perl's rand() is unsuitable for security purposes because it is predictable and reversible. An attacker who predicts a session id can impersonate the corresponding session and bypass authentication.

    Flowise before 3.0.6 contains an arbitrary file access vulnerability due to missing validation that the chatflowId and chatId parameters are UUIDs or numbers in file handling operations. By supplying a path-traversal value (e.g., '../../../../../tmp') as the chatflow id, an unauthenticated attacker can use the /api/v1/chatflows endpoint (via addBase64FilesToStorage) to write arbitrary files, and the /api/v1/get-upload-file and /api/v1/openai-assistants-file/download endpoints (via streamStorageFile) to read arbitrary files. • Jun 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/core: Validate cpu_id against nr_cpu_ids in DMAH alloc The cpu_id attribute supplied CVE-2026-53187 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/core: Validate cpu_id against nr_cpu_ids in DMAH alloc The cpu_id attribute supplied by user space through UVERBS_ATTR_ALLOC_DMAH_CPU_ID is passed directly to cpumask_test_cpu() without first verifying that the value is within the valid CPU range. Passing such untrusted data to cpumask_test_cpu() may lead to an out-of-bounds read of the underlying cpumask bitmap: the helper expands to a test_bit() that indexes the bitmap by cpu_id / BITS_PER_LONG with no bound check. In addition, on kernels built with CONFIG_DEBUG_PER_CPU_MAPS it trips the WARN_ON_ONCE() in cpumask_check(); combined with panic_on_warn this turns a bad user input into a machine reboot. Reject any cpu_id that is not smaller than nr_cpu_ids with -EINVAL before it is used. Reported by Smatch.

  • Jun 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: fix NULL dereference in get_queue_ids() When usr_queue_id_array is NULL and nuCVE-2026-53144 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: fix NULL dereference in get_queue_ids() When usr_queue_id_array is NULL and num_queues is non-zero, get_queue_ids() returns NULL. The callers check only IS_ERR() on the return value; since IS_ERR(NULL) == false the check passes, and suspend_queues() calls q_array_invalidate() which immediately dereferences NULL while iterating num_queues times. Userspace can trigger this via kfd_ioctl_set_debug_trap() by supplying num_queues > 0 with a zero queue_array_ptr, causing a kernel panic. A NULL usr_queue_id_array with num_queues == 0 is a legitimate no-op (q_array_invalidate never executes, and resume_queues already guards all queue_ids dereferences behind a NULL check). Return ERR_PTR(-EINVAL) only when num_queues is non-zero and the pointer is absent; both callers already propagate IS_ERR() returns correctly to userspace. Apache::Session::Generate::SHA256 versions before 1.3.19 for Perl create insecure session ids. Apache::Session::Generate::SHA256 generated session ids insecurely. The default session id generator returns a SHA-256 hash of the built-in rand() function, the epoch time, and the PID, that is hashed again. These are predictable, low-entropy sources. Predicable session ids could allow an attacker to gain access to systems. Note that version 1.3.19 has a fallback without warning to use insecure session generation method if the call to Crypt::URandom::urandom fails. Apache::Session::Generate::ModUniqueId versions from 1.54 through 1.94 for Perl session ids are insecure. Apache::Session::Generate::ModUniqueId (added in version 1.54) uses the value of the UNIQUE_ID environment variable for the session id. The UNIQUE_ID variable is set by the Apache mod_unique_id plugin, which generates unique ids for the request. The id is based on the IPv4 address, the process id, the epoch time, a 16-bit counter and a thread index, with no obfuscation. The server IP is often available to the public, and if not available, can be guessed from previous session ids being issued. The process ids may also be guessed from previous session ids. The timestamp is easily guessed (and leaked in the HTTP Date response header). The purpose of mod_unique_id is to assign a unique id to requests so that events can be correlated in different logs. The id is not designed, nor is it suitable for security purposes.

  • Apr 30, 2026Dancer::Session::Abstract versions through 1.3522 for Perl generates session ids insecurely.CVE-2026-5080 · Other software · BIGPRESH · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 5.9

    Dancer::Session::Abstract versions through 1.3522 for Perl generates session ids insecurely. The session id is generated from summing the character codepoints of the absolute pathname with the process id, the epoch time and calls to the built-in rand() function to return a number between 0 and 999-billion, and concatenating that result three times. The path name might be known or guessed by an attacker, especially for applications known to be written using Dancer with standard installation locations. The epoch time can be guessed by an attacker, and may be leaked in the HTTP header. The process id comes from a small set of numbers, and workers may have sequential process ids. The built-in rand() function is seeded with 32-bits and is considered unsuitable for security applications. Predictable session ids could allow an attacker to gain access to systems.

    uuid is for the creation of RFC9562 (formerly RFC4122) UUIDs. Prior to 14.0.0, v3, v5, and v6 accept external output buffers but do not reject out-of-range writes (small buf or large offset). This allows silent partial writes into caller-provided buffers. This vulnerability is fixed in 14.0.0.

  • Apr 13, 2026Solstice::Session versions through 1440 for Perl generates session ids insecurely.CVE-2026-5085 · Other software · MCRAWFOR · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.1

    Solstice::Session versions through 1440 for Perl generates session ids insecurely. The _generateSessionID method returns an MD5 digest seeded by the epoch time, a random hash reference, a call to the built-in rand() function and the process id. The same method is used in the _generateID method in Solstice::Subsession, which is part of the same distribution. The epoch time may be guessed, if it is not leaked in the HTTP Date header. Stringified hash refences will contain predictable content. The built-in rand() function is seeded by 16-bits and is unsuitable for security purposes. The process id comes from a small set of numbers. Predictable session ids could allow an attacker to gain access to systems.

  • Apr 3, 2026** UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED ** Focalboard version 8.0 fails to sanitize category IDs before incorporating them into dynamic SQL statements when reordering cateCVE-2026-25773 · Other software · Mattermost · reported by responsibledisclosure@mattermost.comHigh 8.1

    ** UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED ** Focalboard version 8.0 fails to sanitize category IDs before incorporating them into dynamic SQL statements when reordering categories. An attacker can inject a malicious SQL payload into the category id field, which is stored in the database and later executed unsanitized when the category reorder API processes the stored value. This Second-Order SQL Injection (Time-Based Blind) allows an authenticated attacker to exfiltrate sensitive data including password hashes of other users. NOTE: Focalboard as a standalone product is not maintained and no fix will be issued.

    Endian Firewall version 3.3.25 and prior allow authenticated users to execute arbitrary OS commands via the DATE parameter to /cgi-bin/logs_ids.cgi. The DATE parameter value is used to construct a file path that is passed to a Perl open() call, which allows command injection due to an incomplete regular expression validation.

    HTTP::Session versions before 0.54 for Perl defaults to using insecurely generated session ids. HTTP::Session defaults to using HTTP::Session::ID::SHA1 to generate session ids using a SHA-1 hash seeded with the built-in rand function, the high resolution epoch time, and the PID. Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
