  • Sep 15, 2026githubtoplanguages generates a user's top GitHub languages as an SVG.CVE-2026-58502 · Other software · gouef · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

githubtoplanguages generates a user's top GitHub languages as an SVG. The .github/workflows/discord-issue.yml workflow runs when an issue is opened or closed and interpolates github.event.issue.title directly into the Bash assignment for ISSUE_TITLE before shell parsing. An issue title containing shell command-substitution syntax can therefore execute commands on the GitHub Actions runner before the title is included in the Discord notification sent through DISCORD_WEBHOOK. Successful exploitation can manipulate or spoof trusted bot notifications and may expose the Discord webhook secret or other workflow environment data, depending on repository permissions. This issue is fixed by commit 6bf9c3a9cb66c937b9047ca266b3d02f2bb11027.

  • Sep 15, 2026Signal K Server is a server application that runs on a central hub in a boat.CVE-2026-55591 · Other software · SignalK · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8

Signal K Server is a server application that runs on a central hub in a boat. Prior to 2.28.0, makeRemoteRequest() in src/serverroutes.ts accepted attacker-controlled host, port, useTLS, and selfsignedcert parameters from the testSignalKConnection, requestAccess, and checkAccessRequest endpoints without validating the destination. When security was not configured, addAdminMiddleware() was a no-op in dummysecurity.ts, leaving all three endpoints accessible without authentication. The server could be forced to contact loopback, private, link-local, cloud metadata, or arbitrary external destinations, and selfsignedcert could disable certificate verification for outbound HTTPS requests. The checkAccessRequest endpoint also interpolated requestId into its destination path, allowing traversal to other paths on the selected host. Distinct success, connection-refused, and timeout responses enabled internal port scanning; returned response bodies enabled cloud metadata and internal-service data exfiltration; requestAccess enabled server-side POST requests with attacker-controlled JSON; and access to cluster-internal services could support lateral movement. This issue is fixed in version 2.2

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: sensor-hub: Fix out-of-bounds write in sensor_hub_get_feature sensor_hub_get_feature() clamps its return value to the caller's buffer size, but the copy loop still copies field->report_size / 8 bytes for each report value. A malicious HID descriptor can advertise a large feature field size while an IIO caller supplies a small stack buffer, such as a single s32, causing an out-of-bounds write. HID core stores parsed report values in __s32 slots and clamps extracted values to 32 bits. Reject feature fields that require more than one slot per value, guard the total byte count calculation, and clamp each per-value copy to the remaining caller buffer.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/chrome: sensorhub: Bound the EC-reported sensor number Each EC FIFO event carries an 8-bit sensor number (in->sensor_num). cros_ec_sensorhub_ring_handler() validates the FIFO event count, the per-read count and the ring bound, but not the sensor number, which cros_ec_sensor_ring_process_event() then uses unchecked to index sensorhub->batch_state[] - allocated with only sensorhub->sensor_num entries. A sensor number of sensor_num or larger is an out-of-bounds read and write of batch_state[]. Validate the sensor number in the ring handler, where each event is read from the EC, and drop a malformed event before it is used.

  • Sep 10, 2026Renovate, a dependency update tool, follows pagination links supplied by the GitHub server in the HTTP `Link` header when interacting with GitHub.com, GitHub EnCVE-2026-88881 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2

Renovate, a dependency update tool, follows pagination links supplied by the GitHub server in the HTTP `Link` header when interacting with GitHub.com, GitHub Enterprise Cloud, or GitHub Enterprise Server, and sends the credentials configured for that host to the URL given as the 'next' page. Because the pagination URL is not validated against the host originally contacted, a malicious or compromised GitHub server can return a `Link` header pointing to an attacker-controlled host and cause Renovate to disclose those credentials to it. Exploitation requires that the GitHub server Renovate talks to (as the repository host or as a datasource such as github-releases, github-tags, or git-refs) is already malicious or compromised. The issue is fixed in renovate 44.11.3 (npm and renovate/renovate container images), Mend Renovate CE/EE images and the mend-renovate-ce helm chart 15.4.0, and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition helm chart 10.4.0. There is no workaround; the pre-existing RENOVATE_X_REBASE_PAGINATION_LINKS option disables the new host check and should only be used with servers that intentionally use different pagination hosts.

LobeChat (LobeHub) 2.2.1 does not properly verify inbound chat-platform webhook signatures in the QQ and Feishu adapters. The webhook route (/api/agent/webhooks/:platform) is unauthenticated by design and delegates verification to each adapter; the QQ adapter performs no Ed25519 signature verification on dispatched message events, and the Feishu adapter only performs an optional static-token comparison that is skipped when no token is configured (the default) and is not a body signature. An unauthenticated attacker who knows the public webhook URL can POST forged inbound messages with an attacker-chosen sender identity and arbitrary text, causing the bot owner's agent to process attacker-controlled input and treat the attacker as a trusted platform sender.

  • Sep 1, 2026A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed remote code execution on the instance.CVE-2026-76851 · Other software · GitHub · reported by product-cna@github.comHigh 7.7

A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed remote code execution on the instance. Insufficient network isolation allowed malicious pre-receive hook code to impersonate an internal service and redirect trusted internal requests to a privileged service, leading to elevated code execution. Exploitation required pre-receive hook networking to be enabled and either site administrator privileges or write access to a repository containing a configured pre-receive hook. This vulnerability affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.22 and was fixed in versions 3.17.20, 3.18.14, 3.19.11, 3.20.7, and 3.21.5. A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an unauthenticated attacker to cause the Manage API to send crafted outbound requests to an attacker-controlled host. An unauthenticated endpoint parsed an attacker-supplied cluster configuration and issued gateway-to-agent requests whose HMAC authenticated only a timestamp, not the request path or body. An attacker positioned to intercept the outbound request could capture this token and replay it against privileged management agent endpoints. High-availability deployments were not affected due to a topology restriction. oasdiff-action is a GitHub Action that detects breaking changes in OpenAPI specs and post a review on every pull request. Before version 0.0.51, the oasdiff actions resolved external $refs in the OpenAPI spec by default (allow-external-refs: true). When an action runs on a pull request whose spec is attacker-controlled — most importantly fork pull requests on public repositories — a $ref in that spec is fetched/read on the runner with no interaction required, enabling SSRF and disclosure of structured files on the runner. MCPHub is a unified hub for centrally managing and dynamically orchestrating multiple MCP servers/APIs into separate endpoints with flexible routing strategies. Prior to version 1.0.30, MCPHub scopes non-admin users to servers they own (list views and config edits enforce ownership), but the tool-execution API does not. Any authenticated non-admin user can invoke tools on MCP servers owned by other users — servers they cannot even see in GET /api/servers. Because connected MCP servers carry real capability (filesystem, HTTP fetch, cloud APIs with the owner's keys), this is cross-tenant compromise: demonstrated arbitrary host file read (/etc/passwd, another user's secrets) and SSRF. This issue has been patched in version 1.0.30.

MCPHub is a unified hub for centrally managing and dynamically orchestrating multiple MCP servers/APIs into separate endpoints with flexible routing strategies. Prior to version 1.0.32, MCPHub's SSRF guard in src/utils/ssrf.ts uses a custom isBlockedIpv6 function that only checks for loopback, link-local, unique-local, IPv4-mapped, and IPv4-compatible IPv6 addresses. IPv6 transition address families -- NAT64 (64:ff9b::/96), 6to4 (2002::/16), and Teredo (2001::/32) -- are not checked. An attacker who can specify a URL for an MCP server connection can encode a private IPv4 address inside one of these IPv6 forms to bypass the SSRF guard and reach internal infrastructure. This issue has been patched in version 1.0.32.

MCPHub is a unified hub for centrally managing and dynamically orchestrating multiple MCP servers/APIs into separate endpoints with flexible routing strategies. Prior to version 0.12.15, the POST /api/servers and PUT /api/servers/:name endpoints in MCPHub create/update MCP server configurations and then immediately spawn the configured stdio process via child_process.spawn. Authentication is required, but there is no authorization check restricting these endpoints to admins, and there is no allowlist/sanitization on the command and args fields. As a result, any authenticated non-admin user can submit a server configuration with command:"/bin/sh" (or any other binary) and arbitrary args, causing MCPHub to execute the attacker-controlled process as the MCPHub server's OS user (commonly root in the published Docker image and in npx/systemd deployments). MCPHub is a unified hub for centrally managing and dynamically orchestrating multiple MCP servers/APIs into separate endpoints with flexible routing strategies. Prior to version 1.0.32, an authenticated non-admin user can register a server pointing at an arbitrary URL and make the hub issue server-side requests to it, with no egress filtering (no block of loopback / RFC1918 / link-local 169.254.0.0/16). Via the OpenAPI proxy path the response body is returned to the caller (full, reflected SSRF); via the SSE/streamable-http transport the request is sent blind. This issue has been patched in version 1.0.32.

MCPHub is a unified hub for centrally managing and dynamically orchestrating multiple MCP servers/APIs into separate endpoints with flexible routing strategies. Prior to version 1.0.31, when a bearer key with accessType: 'servers' (or 'custom') is used against a group route, isBearerKeyAllowedForRequest grants access to the entire group as long as any single server in that group appears in the key's allowedServers list — not only when every server the key is scoped to matches, and critically, without ever re-checking allowedServers again once the group-level connection is authorized. A key explicitly scoped to one specific server therefore also grants full access to every other server that happens to share a group with it, including servers the key was never authorized for. This issue has been patched in version 1.0.31.

MCPHub is a unified hub for centrally managing and dynamically orchestrating multiple MCP servers/APIs into separate endpoints with flexible routing strategies. Prior to version 1.0.32, the built-in prompt and resource controllers perform no role checking. The mutating POST/PUT /api/prompts* and POST/PUT /api/resources* routes are attached to the authenticated router with no admin gate, and the handlers never read req.user. The DAO singletons they write are consulted first — ahead of any connected MCP server — for every session in handleGetPromptRequest / handleReadResourceRequest. A non-admin can therefore create, overwrite, and shadow global prompt templates and resources that all other users are served. The scored impact is the unauthorized integrity violation (creation/tampering/shadowing of globally-served records); stored prompt injection into other users' LLM sessions is a downstream consequence of that tampering. This issue has been patched in version 1.0.32.

MCPHub is a unified hub for centrally managing and dynamically orchestrating multiple MCP servers/APIs into separate endpoints with flexible routing strategies. Prior to version 1.0.29, MCPHub's PUT /api/system-config endpoint (handler updateSystemConfig) performs no authorization check. It is protected only by the app-wide authentication middleware and a rate limiter — it never inspects req.user.isAdmin. This issue has been patched in version 1.0.29.

MCPHub is a unified hub for centrally managing and dynamically orchestrating multiple MCP servers/APIs into separate endpoints with flexible routing strategies. Prior to version 0.12.13, MCPB File Upload Handler extracts a ZIP file and reads manifest.json from it. The name field in the manifest is directly concatenated into a file path (line 107) without any sanitization or path traversal character validation. An attacker can craft a malicious MCPB file where manifest.name is set to something like ../../../etc/malicious, causing the file to be extracted to an arbitrary location on the file system. The cleanupOldMcpbServer function (line 110) also uses the unsanitized name, potentially allowing deletion of arbitrary directories. This issue has been patched in version 0.12.13.

CVE-2025-40843 https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-5xf2-f6ch-6p8r  was fixed by replacing unchecked strcpy() with a bounded safe_strcpy() helper. At ldlogger-tool-gcc.c:129 the destination passed to that helper is fullPath + 2, but the size passed down is the full PATH_MAX. safe_strcpy() is strncpy(), which NUL-pads the destination out to the whole n, so this site writes 4096 bytes into the 4094 that remain — a 2-byte stack overflow on every invocation, independent of the input path's length. • Aug 25, 2026GitHub CLI (gh) is GitHub's official command line tool.CVE-2026-72924 · Other software · cli · reported by GitHubLow 2.1

GitHub CLI (gh) is GitHub's official command line tool. Versions 2.28.0 through 2.97.0 bind the local listener created by gh codespace ports forward to all available network interfaces by default. While port forwarding is active, a service in a Codespace can therefore become reachable through the user's non-loopback local IP addresses by other hosts that can route to the user's machine. This behavior does not change the GitHub-side visibility of the Codespaces port. Instead, it exposes the forwarded service through a wildcard-bound listener on the user's local machine, even when the source Codespaces port remains private. Exploitation requires a network-adjacent attacker to reach the victim's machine while forwarding is active. This issue is fixed in version 2.98.0.

github.com/graphql-go/graphql (GraphQL for Go) through 0.8.1 does not validate that a scalar variable value matches its declared type. The built-in coerceString and coerceBool functions (scalars.go) accept input whose type does not match the declared String, ID, or Boolean scalar instead of raising the request error that the GraphQL specification mandates. In some cases (but not any typical case of JSON sent to a website), a deeply nested value leads to an unrecoverable "fatal error: stack overflow" condition.

  • Aug 25, 2026X-AnyLabeling's model downloader disabled TLS certificate verification.CVE-2026-79785 · Other software · CVHub520 · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.2

X-AnyLabeling's model downloader disabled TLS certificate verification. download_with_retry in anylabeling/services/auto_labeling/model.py built a context with ssl._create_unverified_context() and passed it to urllib.request.urlopen, so neither the certificate chain nor the hostname was checked on any model download, and models are fetched over HTTPS from the project's release host. Any party positioned to intercept that connection could therefore answer it with content of their own choosing. The response is written to a .part file and moved into place with os.replace, and the only post-download check, safe_check_model, validates the file's format rather than its provenance: no hash or signature is compared against an expected value. For an ONNX target the substituted file passes onnx.checker.check_model and is then used for inference, so the attacker chooses the model that produces the application's annotations. For a .pth or .pt target, which the shipped SAM2 video, YOLOE, UPN and open_vision configurations use, the check worker calls torch.load without weights_only, so a substituted file is unpickled and executes code of the attacker's choosing on PyTorch releases predating the

  • Aug 20, 2026The github-issue-bot templates in appwrite/templates verify the GitHub webhook signature with an inverted condition.CVE-2026-72861 · Other software · appwrite · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

The github-issue-bot templates in appwrite/templates verify the GitHub webhook signature with an inverted condition. verifyWebhook in node/github-issue-bot/src/github.js and in node-typescript/github-issue-bot/src/github.ts returns "typeof signature !== 'string' || (await verify(...))", so when the X-Hub-Signature-256 header is absent the first operand is true, the logical OR short-circuits, and the function reports success without performing any HMAC verification. main.js rejects a request only when verifyWebhook returns false, so an unauthenticated request carrying no signature passes the check. Processing then continues to postComment, which takes the repository and issue objects directly from the request body, letting the caller direct the deployed function to post a comment on a repository and issue of their choosing using the configured GITHUB_TOKEN, with the issue author login from the body interpolated into the comment text.
