  • Oct 6, 2026Authorization bypass through a user-controlled key in the optional Amazon Q Business Lambda hook sample ( q-business-lambda-hook https://github.com/aws-solutionCVE-2026-105811 · Other software · aws · reported by ff89ba41-3aa1-4d27-914a-91399e9639e5High 7.1

Authorization bypass through a user-controlled key in the optional Amazon Q Business Lambda hook sample ( q-business-lambda-hook https://github.com/aws-solutions-library-samples/qnabot-on-aws/blob/main/source/docs/lambda_hooks/README.md ), available with QnABot on AWS versions 7.0.0 through 7.4.5, might allow an authenticated remote user to read arbitrary Amazon S3 objects in the deploying AWS account. This sample solution provides an example Lambda hook and requires separate, manual deployment and additional setup. It is not deployed automatically with QnABot. Customers who have not deployed this optional sample hook are not affected and do not need to take action. To remediate this issue, affected customers should update the QnABot on AWS stack to version 7.4.6 or later and then redeploy the Amazon Q Business Lambda hook sample stack. Updating the QnABot on AWS stack alone does not deliver the fix.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: lock the socket in sock_gettstamp() sk->sk_flags must only be changed while holding the socket lock, because sock_set_flag() and sock_reset_flag() use non atomic operations (__set_bit() and __clear_bit()). sock_gettstamp() is one of the last places where a bit of sk->sk_flags is changed from a syscall without owning the socket lock, through sock_enable_timestamp(sk, SOCK_TIMESTAMP). sk_set_memalloc() and sk_clear_memalloc() also change sk->sk_flags without the socket lock, but their callers (nbd, iscsi_tcp, nvme-tcp, sunrpc, wireguard) need a careful audit, this will be addressed in a separate patch. Jungwoo Lee and Wongi Lee reported an UDP socket use-after-free caused by this bug: a SIOCGSTAMPNS_NEW ioctl racing with bind() can cancel the SOCK_RCU_FREE bit that udp_lib_get_port() just set, because both threads perform a read-modify-write on the same word. • Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Clamp implicit feedback packet count to URB capacity data_ep_set_params()CVE-2026-98265 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Clamp implicit feedback packet count to URB capacity data_ep_set_params() allocates each data URB for exactly u->packets isochronous frames, so urb->iso_frame_desc[] has u->packets slots and ctx->packets is the driver's only record of that limit. For an implicit feedback sink, snd_usb_queue_pending_output_urbs() overwrites it with the sync source's packet count, which is calculated independently from the capture endpoint's parameters. When that count is larger, prepare_playback_urb() and prepare_silent_urb() can write iso_frame_desc[] past the allocation; their existing bounds limit payload bytes, not the descriptor index. The reproducer uses a high-speed UAC2 device declaring bInterval 1 for implicit feedback capture (8 packets) and bInterval 4 for playback (1 packet). On the first capture completion after the stream starts, it accesses seven descriptors spanning 112 bytes beyond the one-packet URB: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in prepare_playback_urb (sound/usb/pcm.c:1560) Write of size 4 at addr ffff88801e696ad0 by task vhci_rx/178 prepare_playback_urb (sound/usb/pcm.c:1560) prep

  • Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pwm-fan) Stop RPM timer before freeing tach data sample_timer() rearms the RPM timCVE-2026-98198 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pwm-fan) Stop RPM timer before freeing tach data sample_timer() rearms the RPM timer and accesses the devm-managed ctx->tachs and ctx->pulses_per_revolution arrays. The cleanup action which stops the timer is registered before those arrays are allocated. Since devres releases entries in reverse order, driver detach can free the arrays before pwm_fan_cleanup() shuts down the timer. A timer expiry in that window accesses the freed tach data. With a KASAN kernel, a test-only kprobe delayed entry to pwm_fan_cleanup() while normal sysfs unbind ran. Each of three runs reported three four-byte reads and two four-byte writes in sample_timer() after its backing devm allocations had been freed. The helper did not invoke the timer callback, cleanup actions or free functions. With the fix, three matching unbind runs completed without KASAN, BUG, WARNING, Oops or panic. Instrumentation confirmed that timer retirement completed before the first timer backing allocation was released. Split timer retirement from the power cleanup and register its devres action after the timer backing data and IRQ actions are installe

  • Oct 5, 2026Asymmetric resource consumption (amplification) vulnerability in Apache Struts.CVE-2026-104712 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5

Asymmetric resource consumption (amplification) vulnerability in Apache Struts. When a request parameter is bound to an arbitrary-precision decimal (java.math.BigDecimal) property that is then rendered through the Struts tag library, the framework can produce a response many orders of magnitude larger than the request, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to exhaust server CPU and outbound network capacity with sustained low-volume traffic. Applications that do not bind request parameters to BigDecimal properties, or never render such a property through the Struts tag library, are not affected. This issue affects Apache Struts: from 2.5.14 through 2.5.33, from 6.0.0 through 6.11.0, from 7.0.0 through 7.3.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 6.12.0 or 7.4.0, which fixes the issue.

Uncontrolled recursion in the ASN.1 parser (Asn1InputStream, Asn1StreamParser) in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted ASN.1 encoding of deeply nested constructed elements (for example SEQUENCE inside SEQUENCE, in definite-length DER or indefinite-length BER form), because each nesting level is parsed by a further recursive call with no bound on depth. About 2,000 levels (8 KB of DER) are enough to exhaust a 1.5 MB thread stack, the .NET main-thread default on Windows, and raise a StackOverflowException, which .NET cannot catch and which terminates the whole process; on threads with larger stacks, parse time instead grows quadratically with depth (about 9 seconds of CPU for a 64 KB input). Any path that parses untrusted ASN.1 is exposed, including X.509 certificates and CRLs, CMS/PKCS#7, PKCS#8/PKCS#12, OCSP and TLS Certificate messages.

Claude Code selected an API key stored by Claude Code, for example from an earlier `/login` or written directly to its configuration, ahead of the user's valid Claude Enterprise or Team sign-in when fetching the organization's server-managed settings, even though the session itself authenticated with the Enterprise or Team account. When the settings endpoint rejected that stored key, the session started without the organization's server-managed policy (such as permission deny rules, model restrictions and managed-only locks) or, if a previously cached copy existed on the machine, kept applying that stale copy without receiving later policy changes — while continuing to operate as the organization's account. Triggering this required local access to a device with such a stored API key; the no-policy case additionally required that no managed settings had previously been cached. Endpoint-managed (MDM or file-based) settings were not affected. Claude for Enterprise organizations were affected from version 2.0.68; Claude for Work (Team) organizations from version 2.1.38, when server-managed settings became available to them. • Sep 29, 2026The Apache Airflow Teradata provider's compute-cluster example Dag declared every one of its Dag Params as unconstrained free text and templated them straight iCVE-2026-86843 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 6.3

The Apache Airflow Teradata provider's compute-cluster example Dag declared every one of its Dag Params as unconstrained free text and templated them straight into the compute-cluster operators, which interpolate those values into Teradata DDL. A user who is permitted to trigger that Dag - a lower-trust role than the Dag author, and one that needs no Teradata credentials of its own - could therefore supply SQL fragments that execute under the connection the task runs as, and could additionally redirect the task at any other connection defined in the deployment, because the connection id was itself a free-text Param. Only deployments that run this example Dag, or a Dag copied from it, are affected; the provider's operator code is unchanged. Users of apache-airflow-providers-teradata are recommended to upgrade to version 3.7.0 or later, whose example constrains the Params to validated identifiers and a closed value set and removes connection selection and free-form option strings from trigger-time input. Upgrading does not change a Dag already copied from the example; users who copied it should apply the same constraints to their copy.

The ADC API requires each driver to reject a sampling sequence whose destination buffer is too small: the buffer_size field of struct adc_sequence in include/zephyr/drivers/adc.h documents that "the driver must ensure that samples are not written beyond the limit and it must return an error if the buffer turns out to be not large enough". The ADI MAX32 driver did not honour that contract. start_read() in drivers/adc/adc_max32.c compared buffer_size, a byte count, against a sample count ((1 + extra_samplings) channels), ignoring sizeof(uint16_t), so it accepted a buffer half the required size. The samples are then stored through the uint16_t data->buffer by Wrap_MXC_ADC_GetData(), which writes two bytes per sample and advances the pointer by one uint16_t: in adc_max32_start_channel() for synchronous reads, and in adc_max32_isr() for asynchronous ones. A sequence selecting two channels with a two-byte buffer, for example, passes the check and has its second sample written past the end of the buffer. On a build with CONFIG_USERSPACE, adc_read() and adc_read_async() are system calls. The handler in drivers/adc/adc_handlers.c copies the sequence in from user memory, verifies only tha

A user who can supply bundle content to a repository referenced by a GitRepo resource, for example through Git push access, or through permission to create or modify a GitRepo, can cause SUSE Rancher Fleet to read files from the filesystem of the environment that processes the bundle and include their contents in the generated Bundle resource. This can expose configuration or credential material that the user has no Kubernetes RBAC permission to read, including Helm registry credentials made available to the bundle-processing job when per-path Helm credentials are configured. This affects Fleet 0.16 before 0.16.2, 0.15 before 0.15.7, 0.14 before 0.14.11, 0.13 before 0.13.16, 0.12 before 0.12.20 and potentially older unsupported versions.

  • Sep 26, 2026Grav before 2.0.25 ships web server configuration samples whose access-control deny rules are matched case-sensitively.CVE-2026-100669 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

Grav before 2.0.25 ships web server configuration samples whose access-control deny rules are matched case-sensitively. In webserver-configs/web.config (IIS), every deny rule (user_sensitive_folders, user_accounts, user_data, user_error_redirect, user_pages, system, vendor, ignore_folders) sets ignoreCase="false" on its URL Rewrite <match> element, overriding the IIS default of ignoreCase="true"; because these are rewrite matches rather than <requestFiltering> elements, there is no case-insensitive fallback. On IIS running over case-insensitive NTFS, an unauthenticated remote attacker can vary the case of a folder name or file extension (for example GET /user/CONFIG/system.YAML) so that no deny rule matches and the IIS static file handler resolves and returns the underlying file, disclosing sensitive data such as configuration secrets or account password hashes. Whether a bypassed file is actually returned depends on MIME registration: .json is served by default, while .yaml/.yml return HTTP 404.3 on a stock IIS unless a YAML MIME mapping has been added. The same class of gap exists in the bundled webserver-configs/lighttpd.conf, whose user/(config|env), directory, script-extension

  • Sep 25, 2026AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-83591 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Comment Content via Regex Transformation in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.16 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The crafted payload uses only WordPress-permitted comment tags and attributes (an anchor with href and title), and the AMP sanitizer pipeline omits javascript: protocol blocking, meaning neither the comment save filter nor the AMP output stage removes the malicious URI introduced by the transformation.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack: use get_unaligned_be32() in tcp_sack() The timestamp-only fast path dereferences the option stream as *(__be32 *)ptr, which assumes 4-byte alignment that the TCP option stream does not guarantee. Use get_unaligned_be32() instead, which reads the value safely and already returns host byte order, so the htonl() on the comparison constant can be dropped. This matches the existing get_unaligned_be32() use later in the same function.
