  • May 1, 2026AGL app-framework-main thru 17.1.12 contains a Zip Slip path traversal vulnerability (CWE-22) combined with a TOCTOU race condition (CWE-367) in the widget instCVE-2026-37531 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linuxfoundation · reported by MITRECritical 9.8

AGL app-framework-main thru 17.1.12 contains a Zip Slip path traversal vulnerability (CWE-22) combined with a TOCTOU race condition (CWE-367) in the widget installation flow. The is_valid_filename function in wgtpkg-zip.c validates ZIP entry names but does not check for dot notation directory traversal sequences it only blocks absolute paths. The zread extraction function uses openat(workdirfd, filename, O_CREAT) which resolves dot notation values relative to the work directory, allowing files to be written anywhere on the filesystem. Critically, in function install_widget in file wgtpkg-install.c, extraction via zread occurs BEFORE signature verification via check_all_signatures. Even if signature verification fails, the error cleanup (remove_workdir) only deletes the temporary work directory files written outside via path traversal persist permanently.

  • May 1, 2026AGL app-framework-binder (afb-daemon) through v19.90.0 allows any local process to execute privileged supervision commands (Exit, Do, Sclose, Config, Trace, DebCVE-2026-37526 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linuxfoundation · reported by MITREHigh 7.8

AGL app-framework-binder (afb-daemon) through v19.90.0 allows any local process to execute privileged supervision commands (Exit, Do, Sclose, Config, Trace, Debug, Token, slist) without authentication via the abstract Unix socket @urn:AGL:afs:supervision:socket. The on_supervision_call function in src/afb-supervision.c dispatches all 8 commands without any credential verification. The abstract socket has no DAC protection, as acknowledged in the official CAUTION comment in src/afs-supervision.h. This allows a low-privileged local process to kill the daemon (DoS via Exit command), execute arbitrary API calls (via Do command), close arbitrary user sessions (via Sclose command), or leak the entire global configuration (via Config command). The vulnerability was introduced in commit b8c9d5de384efcfa53ebdb3f0053d7b3723777e1 on 2017-06-29.

  • May 1, 2026AGL app-framework-binder (afb-daemon) through v19.90.0 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability in the supervision Do command.CVE-2026-37525 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linuxfoundation · reported by MITREHigh 7.8

AGL app-framework-binder (afb-daemon) through v19.90.0 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability in the supervision Do command. The on_supervision_call function in src/afb-supervision.c explicitly nullifies the request credentials by calling afb_context_change_cred(&xreq->context, NULL) before dispatching an attacker-controlled API call via xapi->itf->call(xapi->closure, xreq). The NULL propagation chain through afb-context.c:110 (context->credentials = afb_cred_addref(NULL)) and afb-cred.c:163 (returns NULL when cred is NULL) confirms that credentials are zeroed before the target API executes. The attacker controls both api and verb parameters via JSON input, allowing execution of any registered API with a NULL credential context. APIs that rely on context->credentials for authorization decisions may fail open when receiving NULL credentials, enabling privilege escalation. This vulnerability was introduced in commit abbb4599f0b921c6f434b6bd02bcfb277eecf745 on 2018-02-14.

  • May 1, 2026The LabOne Q serialization framework uses a class-loading mechanism (import_cls) to dynamically import and instantiate Python classes during deserialization.CVE-2026-7584 · Other software · Zurich Instruments · reported by vulnerability@ncsc.chHigh 8.4

The LabOne Q serialization framework uses a class-loading mechanism (import_cls) to dynamically import and instantiate Python classes during deserialization. Prior to the fix, this mechanism accepted arbitrary fully-qualified class names from the serialized data without any validation of the target class or restriction on which modules could be imported. An attacker can craft a serialized experiment file that causes the deserialization engine to import and instantiate arbitrary Python classes with attacker-controlled constructor arguments, resulting in arbitrary code execution in the context of the user running the Python process. Exploitation requires the victim to load a malicious file using LabOne Q's deserialization functions, for example a compromised experiment file shared for collaboration or support purposes.

  • Apr 24, 2026LangChain is a framework for building agents and LLM-powered applications.CVE-2026-41488 · Other software · langchain-ai · reported by GitHubLow 3.1

LangChain is a framework for building agents and LLM-powered applications. Prior to 1.1.14, langchain-openai's _url_to_size() helper (used by get_num_tokens_from_messages for image token counting) validated URLs for SSRF protection and then fetched them in a separate network operation with independent DNS resolution. This left a TOCTOU / DNS rebinding window: an attacker-controlled hostname could resolve to a public IP during validation and then to a private/localhost IP during the actual fetch.

  • Apr 24, 2026LangChain is a framework for building agents and LLM-powered applications.CVE-2026-41481 · Other software · langchain-ai · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

LangChain is a framework for building agents and LLM-powered applications. Prior to langchain-text-splitters 1.1.2, HTMLHeaderTextSplitter.split_text_from_url() validated the initial URL using validate_safe_url() but then performed the fetch with requests.get() with redirects enabled (the default). Because redirect targets were not revalidated, a URL pointing to an attacker-controlled server could redirect to internal, localhost, or cloud metadata endpoints, bypassing SSRF protections. The response body is parsed and returned as Document objects to the calling application code. Whether this constitutes a data exfiltration path depends on the application: if it exposes Document contents (or derivatives) back to the requester who supplied the URL, sensitive data from internal endpoints could be leaked. Applications that store or process Documents internally without returning raw content to the requester are not directly exposed to data exfiltration through this issue. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.1.2.

  • Apr 23, 2026Pipecat is an open-source Python framework for building real-time voice and multimodal conversational agents.CVE-2025-62373 · Other software · pipecat-ai · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8

Pipecat is an open-source Python framework for building real-time voice and multimodal conversational agents. Versions 0.0.41 through 0.0.93 have a vulnerability in `LivekitFrameSerializer` – an optional, non-default, undocumented frame serializer class (now deprecated) intended for LiveKit integration. The class's `deserialize()` method uses Python's `pickle.loads()` on data received from WebSocket clients without any validation or sanitization. This means that a malicious WebSocket client can send a crafted pickle payload to execute arbitrary code on the Pipecat server. The vulnerable code resides in `src/pipecat/serializers/livekit.py` (around line 73), where untrusted WebSocket message data is passed directly into `pickle.loads()` for deserialization. If a Pipecat server is configured to use LivekitFrameSerializer and is listening on an external interface (e.g. 0.0.0.0), an attacker on the network (or the internet, if the service is exposed) could achieve remote code execution (RCE) on the server by sending a malicious pickle payload. Version 0.0.94 contains a fix. Users of Pipecat should avoid or replace unsafe deserialization and improve network security configuration. The be

  • Apr 21, 2026facil.io is a C micro-framework for web applications.CVE-2026-41146 · Other software · boazsegev · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

facil.io is a C micro-framework for web applications. Prior to commit 5128747363055201d3ecf0e29bf0a961703c9fa0, `fio_json_parse` can enter an infinite loop when it encounters a nested JSON value starting with `i` or `I`. The process spins in user space and pegs one CPU core at ~100% instead of returning a parse error. Because `iodine` vendors the same parser code, the issue also affects `iodine` when it parses attacker-controlled JSON. The smallest reproducer I found is `[i`. The quoted-value form that originally exposed the issue, `[""i`, reaches the same bug because the parser tolerates missing commas and then treats the trailing `i` as the start of another value. Commit 5128747363055201d3ecf0e29bf0a961703c9fa0 fixes the issue.

F´ (F Prime) is a framework that enables development and deployment of spaceflight and other embedded software applications. Prior to version 4.2.0, the bounds check byteOffset + dataSize > fileSize uses U32 addition that wraps around on overflow. An attacker-crafted DataPacket with byteOffset=0xFFFFFF9C and dataSize=100 overflows to 0, bypassing the check entirely. The subsequent file write proceeds at the original ~4GB offset. Additionally, Svc/FileUplink/File.cpp:20-31 performs no sanitization on the destination file path. Combined, these allow writing arbitrary data to any file at any offset. The impact is arbitrary file write leading to remote code execution on embedded targets. Note that this is a logic bug. ASAN does not detect it because all memory accesses are within valid buffers — the corruption occurs in file I/O. Version 4.2.0 contains a patch. No known workarounds are available.

All Decidim instances are impacted that have not secured the `/api` endpoint. The `/api` endpoint is publicly available with the default configuration. Versions 0.30.5 and 0.31.1 fix the issue. As a workaround, limit the scope to only authenticated users by limiting access to the `/api` endpoint. This would require custom code or installing the 3rd party module `Decidim::Apiauth`. With custom code, the `/api` endpoint can be limited to only authenticated users. The same configuration can be also used without the `allow` statements to disable all traffic to the the `/api` endpoint. When considering a workaround and the seriousness of the vulnerability, please consider the nature of the platform. If the platform is primarily serving public data, this vulnerability is not serious by its nature. If the platform is protecting some resources, e.g. inside private participation spaces, the vulnerability may expose some data to the attacke

Decidim is a participatory democracy framework. Starting in version 0.19.0 and prior to versions 0.30.5 and 0.31.1, a vulnerability allows any registered and authenticated user to accept or reject any amendments. The impact is on any users who have created proposals where the amendments feature is enabled. This also elevates the user accepting the amendment as the author of the original proposal as people amending proposals are provided coauthorship on the coauthorable resources. Versions 0.30.5 and 0.31.1 fix the issue. As a workaround, disable amendment reactions for the amendable component (e.g. proposals).

  • Apr 17, 2026Giskard is an open-source testing framework for AI models.CVE-2026-40320 · Other software · Giskard-AI · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

Giskard is an open-source testing framework for AI models. In versions prior to 1.0.2b1, the ConformityCheck class rendered the rule parameter through Jinja2's default Template() constructor, silently interpreting template expressions at runtime. If check definitions are loaded from an untrusted source, a crafted rule string could achieve arbitrary code execution. Exploitation requires write access to a check definition and subsequent execution of the test suite. This issue has been fixed in giskard-checks version 1.0.2b1.

Giskard is an open-source testing framework for AI models. In versions prior to 1.0.2b1, the RegexMatching check passes a user-supplied regular expression pattern directly to Python's re.search() without any timeout or complexity guard. A crafted regex pattern can trigger catastrophic backtracking, causing the process to hang indefinitely. Exploitation requires write access to a check definition and subsequent execution of the test suite. This issue has been fixed in giskard-checks version 1.0.2b1.

AdonisJS HTTP Server is a package for handling HTTP requests in the AdonisJS framework. In @adonisjs/http-server versions prior to 7.8.1 and 8.0.0-next.0 through 8.1.3, and @adonisjs/core versions prior to 7.4.0, the response.redirect().back() method reads the Referer header from the incoming HTTP request and redirects to that URL without validating the host.An attacker who can influence the Referer header can cause the application to redirect users to a malicious external site. This affects all AdonisJS applications that use response.redirect().back() or response.redirect('back'). This issue has been fixed in versions 7.8.1 and 8.2.0 and 7.4.0 of @adonisjs/core.

mcp-framework is a framework for building Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. In versions 0.2.21 and below, the readRequestBody() function in the HTTP transport concatenates request body chunks into a string with no size limit. Although a maxMessageSize configuration value exists, it is never enforced in readRequestBody(). A remote unauthenticated attacker can crash any mcp-framework HTTP server by sending a single large POST request to /mcp, causing memory exhaustion and denial of service. This issue has been fixed in version 0.2.22.

  • Apr 16, 2026The Silverstripe Assets Module is a required component of Silverstripe Framework.CVE-2026-24749 · Other software · silverstripe · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

The Silverstripe Assets Module is a required component of Silverstripe Framework. In versions prior to 2.4.5 and 3.0.0-rc1 through 3.1.2, images rendered in templates or otherwise accessed via DBFile::getURL() or DBFile::getSourceURL() incorrectly add an access grant to the current session, which bypasses file permissions. This usually happens when creating an image variant, for example using a manipulation method like ScaleWidth() or Convert(). Note that if developers use DBFile directly in the $db configuration for a DataObject class that doesn't subclass File, and if they were setting the visibility of those files to "protected", those files will now need an explicit access grant to be accessed. If developers do not want to explicitly provide access grants for these files in their apps (i.e. they want these files to be accessible by default), they should use the "public" visibility. This issue has been fixed in versions 2.4.5 and 3.1.3.

  • Apr 9, 2026LangChain is a framework for building agents and LLM-powered applications.CVE-2026-40087 · Other software · langchain-ai · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

LangChain is a framework for building agents and LLM-powered applications. Prior to 0.3.84 and 1.2.28, LangChain's f-string prompt-template validation was incomplete in two respects. First, some prompt template classes accepted f-string templates and formatted them without enforcing the same attribute-access validation as PromptTemplate. In particular, DictPromptTemplate and ImagePromptTemplate could accept templates containing attribute access or indexing expressions and subsequently evaluate those expressions during formatting. Second, f-string validation based on parsed top-level field names did not reject nested replacement fields inside format specifiers. In this pattern, the nested replacement field appears in the format specifier rather than in the top-level field name. As a result, earlier validation based on parsed field names did not reject the template even though Python formatting would still attempt to resolve the nested expression at runtime. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.3.84 and 1.2.28.

FrontMCP is a TypeScript-first framework for the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Prior to 2.3.0, the mcp-from-openapi library uses @apidevtools/json-schema-ref-parser to dereference $ref pointers in OpenAPI specifications without configuring any URL restrictions or custom resolvers. A malicious OpenAPI specification containing $ref values pointing to internal network addresses, cloud metadata endpoints, or local files will cause the library to fetch those resources during the initialize() call. This enables Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) and local file read attacks when processing untrusted OpenAPI specifications. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.3.0.
