May 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: xt_tcpmss: check remaining length before reading optlen Quoting reporter: In CVE-2026-43190 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.2
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: xt_tcpmss: check remaining length before reading optlen Quoting reporter: In net/netfilter/xt_tcpmss.c (lines 53-68), the TCP option parser reads op[i+1] directly without validating the remaining option length. If the last byte of the option field is not EOL/NOP (0/1), the code attempts to index op[i+1]. In the case where i + 1 == optlen, this causes an out-of-bounds read, accessing memory past the optlen boundary (either reading beyond the stack buffer _opt or the following payload).

May 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs3: fix circular locking dependency in run_unpack_ex Syzbot reported a circular lockingCVE-2026-43127 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs3: fix circular locking dependency in run_unpack_ex Syzbot reported a circular locking dependency between wnd->rw_lock (sbi->used.bitmap) and ni->file.run_lock. The deadlock scenario: 1. ntfs_extend_mft() takes ni->file.run_lock then wnd->rw_lock. 2. run_unpack_ex() takes wnd->rw_lock then tries to acquire ni->file.run_lock inside ntfs_refresh_zone(). This creates an AB-BA deadlock. Fix this by using down_read_trylock() instead of down_read() when acquiring run_lock in run_unpack_ex(). If the lock is contended, skip ntfs_refresh_zone() - the MFT zone will be refreshed on the next MFT operation. This breaks the circular dependency since we never block waiting for run_lock while holding wnd->rw_lock.

May 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: s3fwrn5: allocate rx skb before consuming bytes s3fwrn82_uart_read() reports the numbCVE-2026-43098 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: s3fwrn5: allocate rx skb before consuming bytes s3fwrn82_uart_read() reports the number of accepted bytes to the serdev core. The current code consumes bytes into recv_skb and may already deliver a complete frame before allocating a fresh receive buffer. If that alloc_skb() fails, the callback returns 0 even though it has already consumed bytes, and it leaves recv_skb as NULL for the next receive callback. That breaks the receive_buf() accounting contract and can also lead to a NULL dereference on the next skb_put_u8(). Allocate the receive skb lazily before consuming the next byte instead. If allocation fails, return the number of bytes already accepted.

May 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: l2tp: Drop large packets with UDP encap syzbot reported a WARN on my patch series [1].CVE-2026-43080 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: l2tp: Drop large packets with UDP encap syzbot reported a WARN on my patch series [1]. The actual issue is an overflow of 16-bit UDP length field, and it exists in the upstream code. My series added a debug WARN with an overflow check that exposed the issue, that's why syzbot tripped on my patches, rather than on upstream code. syzbot's repro: r0 = socket$pppl2tp(0x18, 0x1, 0x1) r1 = socket$inet6_udp(0xa, 0x2, 0x0) connect$inet6(r1, &(0x7f00000000c0)={0xa, 0x0, 0x0, @loopback, 0xfffffffc}, 0x1c) connect$pppl2tp(r0, &(0x7f0000000240)=@pppol2tpin6={0x18, 0x1, {0x0, r1, 0x4, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, {0xa, 0x4e22, 0xffff, @ipv4={'\x00', '\xff\xff', @empty}}}}, 0x32) writev(r0, &(0x7f0000000080)=[{&(0x7f0000000000)="ee", 0x34000}], 0x1) It basically sends an oversized (0x34000 bytes) PPPoL2TP packet with UDP encapsulation, and l2tp_xmit_core doesn't check for overflows when it assigns the UDP length field. The value gets trimmed to 16 bites. Add an overflow check that drops oversized packets and avoids sending packets with trimmed UDP length to the wire. syzbot's stack trace (with my patch applied): len >= 65536u WARNING:

May 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: fix out-of-bounds write in ocfs2_write_end_inline KASAN reports a use-after-free wrCVE-2026-43075 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: fix out-of-bounds write in ocfs2_write_end_inline KASAN reports a use-after-free write of 4086 bytes in ocfs2_write_end_inline, called from ocfs2_write_end_nolock during a copy_file_range splice fallback on a corrupted ocfs2 filesystem mounted on a loop device. The actual bug is an out-of-bounds write past the inode block buffer, not a true use-after-free. The write overflows into an adjacent freed page, which KASAN reports as UAF. The root cause is that ocfs2_try_to_write_inline_data trusts the on-disk id_count field to determine whether a write fits in inline data. On a corrupted filesystem, id_count can exceed the physical maximum inline data capacity, causing writes to overflow the inode block buffer. May 1, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: core: Mitigate potential OOB by removing bogus memset() The memset() in hid_report_raCVE-2026-43048 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: core: Mitigate potential OOB by removing bogus memset() The memset() in hid_report_raw_event() has the good intention of clearing out bogus data by zeroing the area from the end of the incoming data string to the assumed end of the buffer. However, as we have previously seen, doing so can easily result in OOB reads and writes in the subsequent thread of execution. The current suggestion from one of the HID maintainers is to remove the memset() and simply return if the incoming event buffer size is not large enough to fill the associated report. Suggested-by Benjamin Tissoires <bentiss@kernel.org> [bentiss: changed the return value]

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: multitouch: Check to ensure report responses match the request It is possible for a malicious (or clumsy) device to respond to a specific report's feature request using a completely different report ID. This can cause confusion in the HID core resulting in nasty side-effects such as OOB writes. Add a check to ensure that the report ID in the response, matches the one that was requested. If it doesn't, omit reporting the raw event and return early.

May 1, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ip6_tunnel: clear skb2->cb[] in ip4ip6_err() Oskar Kjos reported the following problem.CVE-2026-43037 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ip6_tunnel: clear skb2->cb[] in ip4ip6_err() Oskar Kjos reported the following problem. ip4ip6_err() calls icmp_send() on a cloned skb whose cb[] was written by the IPv6 receive path as struct inet6_skb_parm. icmp_send() passes IPCB(skb2) to __ip_options_echo(), which interprets that cb[] region as struct inet_skb_parm (IPv4). The layouts differ: inet6_skb_parm.nhoff at offset 14 overlaps inet_skb_parm.opt.rr, producing a non-zero rr value. __ip_options_echo() then reads optlen from attacker-controlled packet data at sptr[rr+1] and copies that many bytes into dopt->__data, a fixed 40-byte stack buffer (IP_OPTIONS_DATA_FIXED_SIZE). To fix this we clear skb2->cb[], as suggested by Oskar Kjos. Also add minimal IPv4 header validation (version == 4, ihl >= 5).

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: use skb_header_pointer() for TCPv4 GSO frag_off check Syzbot reported a KMSAN uninit-value warning in gso_features_check() called from netif_skb_features() [1]. gso_features_check() reads iph->frag_off to decide whether to clear mangleid_features. Accessing the IPv4 header via ip_hdr()/inner_ip_hdr() can rely on skb header offsets that are not always safe for direct dereference on packets injected from PF_PACKET paths. Use skb_header_pointer() for the TCPv4 frag_off check so the header read is robust whether data is already linear or needs copying. [1] https://syzkaller.appspot.com/bug?extid=1543a7d954d9c6d00407

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mptcp: fix soft lockup in mptcp_recvmsg() syzbot reported a soft lockup in mptcp_recvmsg() [0]. When receiving data with MSG_PEEK | MSG_WAITALL flags, the skb is not removed from the sk_receive_queue. This causes sk_wait_data() to always find available data and never perform actual waiting, leading to a soft lockup. Fix this by adding a 'last' parameter to track the last peeked skb. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: comedi: runflags cannot determine whether to reclaim chanlist syzbot reported a memory leak [1], because commit 4e1da516debb ("comedi: Add reference counting for Comedi command handling") did not consider the exceptional exit case in do_cmd_ioctl() where runflags is not set. This caused chanlist not to be properly freed by do_become_nonbusy(), as it only frees chanlist when runflags is correctly set. Added a check in do_become_nonbusy() for the case where runflags is not set, to properly free the chanlist memory. Improper Certificate Validation via Global SSL Context Downgrade in Apache Storm Prometheus Reporter Versions Affected: from 2.6.3 to 2.8.6 Description: In production deployments where an administrator enables storm.daemon.metrics.reporter.plugin.prometheus.skip_tls_validation (by default it is disabled) intending to affect only the Prometheus reporter, the undocumented global side effect creates an attack surface across every TLS-protected communication channel in the Storm daemon. The PrometheusPreparableReporter class implements an INSECURE_TRUST_MANAGER that accepts all SSL certificates without validation, with empty checkClientTrusted and checkServerTrusted methods. Most critically, when the storm.daemon.metrics.reporter.plugin.prometheus.skip_tls_validation configuration option is enabled (default = disabled) for HTTPS Prometheus PushGateway connections, the INSECURE_CONNECTION_FACTORY calls SSLContext.setDefault(sslContext), which globally replaces the JVM's default SSL context rather than applying the insecure context only to the Prometheus connection. Apr 27, 2026The camel-infinispan component's ProtoStream-based remote aggregation repository deserializes data read from a remote Infinispan cache using java.io.ObjectInputCVE-2026-40858 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.8
The camel-infinispan component's ProtoStream-based remote aggregation repository deserializes data read from a remote Infinispan cache using java.io.ObjectInputStream without applying any ObjectInputFilter. An attacker who can write to the Infinispan cache used by a Camel application can inject a crafted serialized Java object that, when read during normal aggregation repository operations such as get or recover, results in arbitrary code execution in the context of the application. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.14.7, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.2, from 4.19.0 before 4.20.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.20.0, which fixes the issue. If users are on the 4.14.x LTS releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.14.7. If users are on the 4.18.x releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.18.2. The JIRA ticket: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-23322 refers to the various commits that resolved the issue, and have more details. This issue follows the same class of vulnerability previously addressed in CVE-2024-22369, CVE-2024-23114 and CVE-2026-25747.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: pn533: allocate rx skb before consuming bytes pn532_receive_buf() reports the number of accepted bytes to the serdev core. The current code consumes bytes into recv_skb and may already hand a complete frame to pn533_recv_frame() before allocating a fresh receive buffer.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: core: clamp report_size in s32ton() to avoid undefined shift s32ton() shifts by n-1 where n is the field's report_size, a value that comes directly from a HID device. The HID parser bounds report_size only to <= 256, so a broken HID device can supply a report descriptor with a wide field that triggers shift exponents up to 256 on a 32-bit type when an output report is built via hid_output_field() or hid_set_field(). Commit ec61b41918587 ("HID: core: fix shift-out-of-bounds in hid_report_raw_event") added the same n > 32 clamp to the function snto32(), but s32ton() was never given the same fix as I guess syzbot hadn't figured out how to fuzz a device the same way. Fix this up by just clamping the max value of n, just like snto32() does.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: vidtv: fix nfeeds state corruption on start_streaming failure syzbot reported a memory leak in vidtv_psi_service_desc_init [1]. When vidtv_start_streaming() fails inside vidtv_start_feed(), the nfeeds counter is left incremented even though no feed was actually started. This corrupts the driver state: subsequent start_feed calls see nfeeds > 1 and skip starting the mux, while stop_feed calls eventually try to stop a non-existent stream. This state corruption can also lead to memory leaks, since the mux and channel resources may be partially allocated during a failed start_streaming but never cleaned up, as the stop path finds dvb->streaming == false and returns early. Fix by decrementing nfeeds back when start_streaming fails, keeping the counter in sync with the actual number of active feeds. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Make sure to use pmu_ctx->pmu for groups Oliver reported that x86_pmu_del() ended up doing an out-of-bound memory access when group_sched_in() fails and needs to roll back. This *should* be handled by the transaction callbacks, but he found that when the group leader is a software event, the transaction handlers of the wrong PMU are used. Despite the move_group case in perf_event_open() and group_sched_in() using pmu_ctx->pmu. Turns out, inherit uses event->pmu to clone the events, effectively undoing the move_group case for all inherited contexts. Fix this by also making inherit use pmu_ctx->pmu, ensuring all inherited counters end up in the same pmu context. Similarly, __perf_event_read() should use equally use pmu_ctx->pmu for the group case.

Apr 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix stack-out-of-bounds read in l2cap_ecred_conn_req Syzbot reported a KCVE-2026-31513 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix stack-out-of-bounds read in l2cap_ecred_conn_req Syzbot reported a KASAN stack-out-of-bounds read in l2cap_build_cmd() that is triggered by a malformed Enhanced Credit Based Connection Request. The vulnerability stems from l2cap_ecred_conn_req(). The function allocates a local stack buffer (`pdu`) designed to hold a maximum of 5 Source Channel IDs (SCIDs), totaling 18 bytes. When an attacker sends a request with more than 5 SCIDs, the function calculates `rsp_len` based on this unvalidated `cmd_len` before checking if the number of SCIDs exceeds L2CAP_ECRED_MAX_CID. If the SCID count is too high, the function correctly jumps to the `response` label to reject the packet, but `rsp_len` retains the attacker's oversized value. Consequently, l2cap_send_cmd() is instructed to read past the end of the 18-byte `pdu` buffer, triggering a KASAN panic. Fix this by moving the assignment of `rsp_len` to after the `num_scid` boundary check. If the packet is rejected, `rsp_len` will safely remain 0, and the error response will only read the 8-byte base header from the stack.

Apr 21, 2026free5GC UDR is the user data repository (UDR) for free5GC, an an open-source project for 5th generation (5G) mobile core networks.CVE-2026-40343 · Other software · free5gc · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
free5GC UDR is the user data repository (UDR) for free5GC, an an open-source project for 5th generation (5G) mobile core networks. In versions up to and including 1.4.2, a fail-open request handling flaw in the UDR service causes the `/nudr-dr/v2/policy-data/subs-to-notify` POST handler to continue processing requests even after request body retrieval or deserialization errors. This may allow unintended creation of Policy Data notification subscriptions with invalid, empty, or partially processed input, depending on downstream processor behavior. As of time of publication, a patched version is not available.

Apr 21, 2026An improper authorization vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an authenticated attacker to determine the names of private repoCVE-2026-5512 · Other software · GitHub · reported by product-cna@github.comMedium 5.3
An improper authorization vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an authenticated attacker to determine the names of private repositories by their numeric ID. The mobile upload policy API endpoint did not perform an early authorization check, and validation error messages included the full repository name for repositories the caller did not have access to. This vulnerability affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.21 and was fixed in versions 3.20.1, 3.19.5, 3.18.8, 3.17.14, 3.16.17, 3.15.21, and 3.14.26. Apr 21, 2026An authorization bypass vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an attacker with admin access on one repository to modify the secrCVE-2026-3307 · Other software · GitHub · reported by product-cna@github.comMedium 5.3
An authorization bypass vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an attacker with admin access on one repository to modify the secret scanning push protection delegated bypass reviewer list on another repository by manipulating the owner_id parameter in the request body. Authorization was verified against the repository in the URL, but the action was applied to a different repository specified in the request body. The impact is limited to assigning existing trusted users as bypass reviewers; it does not allow adding arbitrary external users. This vulnerability affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.21 and was fixed in versions 3.14.25, 3.15.20, 3.16.16, 3.17.13, 3.18.7, 3.19.4 and 3.20.1. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: X.509: Fix out-of-bounds access when parsing extensions Leo reports an out-of-bounds access when parsing a certificate with empty Basic Constraints or Key Usage extension because the first byte of the extension is read before checking its length. Fix it. The bug can be triggered by an unprivileged user by submitting a specially crafted certificate to the kernel through the keyrings(7) API. Leo has demonstrated this with a proof-of-concept program responsibly disclosed off-list.

Apr 15, 2026OWASP BLT is a QA testing and vulnerability disclosure platform that encompasses websites, apps, git repositories, and more.CVE-2026-40316 · Other software · OWASP-BLT · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
OWASP BLT is a QA testing and vulnerability disclosure platform that encompasses websites, apps, git repositories, and more. Versions prior to 2.1.1 contain an RCE vulnerability in the .github/workflows/regenerate-migrations.yml workflow. The workflow uses the pull_request_target trigger to run with full GITHUB_TOKEN write permissions, copies attacker-controlled files from untrusted pull requests into the trusted runner workspace via git show, and then executes python manage.py makemigrations, which imports Django model modules including attacker-controlled website/models.py at runtime. Any module-level Python code in the attacker's models.py is executed during import, enabling arbitrary code execution in the privileged CI environment with access to GITHUB_TOKEN and repository secrets. The attack is triggerable by any external contributor who can open a pull request, provided a maintainer applies the regenerate-migrations label, potentially leading to secret exfiltration, repository compromise, and supply chain attacks. A patch for this issue is expected to be released in version 2.1.1.
