  • Aug 27, 2026Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application.CVE-2026-53578 · Other software · TriliumNext · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions up to and including 0.103.0, the default-on "Safe import" filter sanitizes HTML only for text notes and excludes the mindMap note type, whose JSON content is stored without sanitization, allowing an attacker-supplied import archive to embed a payload that renders as arbitrary HTML. A mind map node can carry a dangerouslySetInnerHTML property that the Mind Elixir library assigns directly to a node's innerHTML, so a malicious note survives Safe import and executes script as soon as the victim opens the imported mind map. On the desktop client the Electron renderer runs with Node integration enabled, so the injected JavaScript escalates from cross-site scripting to full remote code execution on the victim's machine. This issue is fixed in version 0.104.0.

  • Aug 27, 2026Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application.CVE-2026-48996 · Other software · TriliumNext · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions up to and including 0.103.0, the default-on "Safe import" filter does not sanitize note titles, and the GeoMap note view interpolates a marker note's title into raw HTML that is rendered as innerHTML, allowing an attacker-supplied import archive to inject script that runs when the map is displayed. Because Safe import neutralizes scripts but never escapes titles, a note whose title contains an HTML event-handler payload survives the import and executes as soon as the victim opens the GeoMap that renders its marker. On the desktop client the Electron renderer runs with Node integration enabled, so the injected JavaScript escalates from cross-site scripting to full remote code execution on the victim's machine. This issue is fixed in version 0.104.0.

  • Aug 27, 2026Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application.CVE-2026-47727 · Other software · TriliumNext · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions prior to 0.104.0, the default-on "Safe import" filter fails to neutralize the shareTemplate relation because that relation is not marked as dangerous, allowing an attacker-supplied import archive to plant a server-side template that leads to remote code execution. The relation is omitted from the built-in list of dangerous attributes, so unlike other code-loading relations it is not disabled on import, and when the victim later publishes the imported note the public share renderer feeds the linked EJS code note's raw bytes into ejs.render, which compiles them in the server's Node process. An unauthenticated request to the shared note then executes the attacker's JavaScript with full access to require, process, the filesystem, and the network. This issue is fixed in version 0.104.0.

  • Aug 27, 2026Baserow dispatches an Application Builder data source without acting on the result of its permission check.CVE-2026-81335 · Other software · Baserow · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

Baserow dispatches an Application Builder data source without acting on the result of its permission check. The dispatch and record-name views in backend/src/baserow/contrib/builder/api/data_sources/views.py are declared with a permission class that admits any caller, so a request carrying no credential reaches the handler. DataSourceService.dispatch_data_sources in backend/src/baserow/contrib/builder/data_sources/service.py then calls check_multiple_permissions without asking it to raise, and neither stores nor examines the mapping of denials it returns, so a denied check leaves execution to continue and the data source is dispatched whatever the caller's identity. The dispatch runs with the integration's own credentials, so an unauthenticated request naming a data source receives the rows and fields that source reads. Identifiers are small integers and can be enumerated. Version 2.3.1 passes raise_exception to the same call.

In 5.2.6 and earlier, UnpackerBase.unpack() in izpack-installer/src/main/java/com/izforge/izpack/installer/unpacker/UnpackerBase.java obtains an attacker-controlled PackFile targetPath, passes it through IoHelper.translatePath(), which only converts separators, and constructs a File without normalizing parent-directory segments or enforcing destination containment. The LoRaWAN application-layer clock-synchronization service parses downlinks in clock_sync_package_callback() (subsys/lorawan/services/clock_sync.c). Its command loop only guarantees that the one-byte command id is in bounds; for the CLOCK_SYNC_CMD_APP_TIME (AppTimeAns) command the handler then reads a 4-byte time correction via sys_get_le32() plus a 1-byte token without checking that 5 bytes remain in the receive buffer (len - rx_pos). A short or crafted AppTimeAns therefore reads up to 5 bytes past the end of the decrypted payload. The payload (rx_buf/len) is the decrypted application frame delivered to the registered downlink callback (mcps_indication->Buffer/BufferSize). Reaching the handler requires a frame on the clock-sync port that passes LoRaWAN's MAC integrity check and FRMPayload decryption, so the practical attacker is a malicious or compromised network/application server (the designated sender of AppTimeAns) or a party holding the session keys, rather than an arbitrary radio listener. The over-read is bounded: the backing store is a fixed 255-byte static buffer, so the few stray bytes do not fault, and the read values (time_correction, token) are used only internally

  • Aug 26, 2026The vulnerability allows the unauthorised generation of physical access QR codes due to the use of hard-coded credentials within the application.CVE-2026-12587 · Other software · Resamania · reported by cve-coordination@incibe.esHigh 8.6

The vulnerability allows the unauthorised generation of physical access QR codes due to the use of hard-coded credentials within the application. The generation mechanism uses the 'badge_number' parameter as the HMAC private key, the value of which remains static and is accessible via the API using the endpoint '/club/_id_club_/member/_id_member_/resamania_qr_info'. An attacker with access to this value and to the application’s cryptographic logic, which can be extracted by reverse engineering the APK as there is no code obfuscation, could generate valid QR codes indefinitely, even after the user has changed their password or logged out.

  • Aug 26, 2026TarsWeb enforces its per-application roles by calling AuthService from individual controller methods, and four methods in app/controller/patch/PatchController.jCVE-2026-80348 · Other software · TarsCloud · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

TarsWeb enforces its per-application roles by calling AuthService from individual controller methods, and four methods in app/controller/patch/PatchController.js make no such call. uploadAndPublish accepts a package upload and then builds and dispatches a deployment task to every server matching the supplied application and module name, while its sibling uploadPatchPackage, which only stores the package, does check developer authorization first. The only precondition uploadAndPublish enforces is that the named server is registered, and any registered server in the installation satisfies it. downloadPackage and deletePatchPackage select a package by an unscoped sequential primary key covering every application's uploads, and setPatchPackageDefault changes which package a given application deploys by default. Any authenticated account, including one holding a role scoped to a single unrelated application, can therefore push a package to and trigger its deployment on any server the console manages, retrieve or delete any other application's package, and change which package is deployed by default.

  • Aug 25, 2026Doorkeeper OpenID Connect implements an OpenID Connect authentication provider for Rails applications on top of Doorkeeper.CVE-2026-70665 · Other software · doorkeeper-gem · reported by GitHubMedium 4.2

Doorkeeper OpenID Connect implements an OpenID Connect authentication provider for Rails applications on top of Doorkeeper. Prior to 1.10.4, the Dynamic Client Registration (DCR) endpoint persists client-supplied scopes without validating them against the server's configured scope set. Under certain conditions, this allows a self-registered client to obtain scopes beyond what the server intended to grant. In DynamicClientRegistrationController#application_params, the scopes attribute is assigned directly from params[:scope] with no validation against Doorkeeper.configuration.scopes or optional_scopes. Combined with enforce_configured_scopes being off by default and Doorkeeper's ScopeChecker prioritizing application-level scopes over server-level scopes, this creates a privilege escalation path. This issue is fixed in version 1.10.4.
