go-ipld-prime is an implementation of the InterPlanetary Linked Data (IPLD) spec interfaces, a batteries-included codec implementations of IPLD for CBOR and JSON, and tooling for basic operations on IPLD objects. Prior to 0.22.0, the DAG-CBOR decoder uses collection sizes declared in CBOR headers as Go preallocation hints for maps and lists. The decoder does not cap these size hints or account for their cost in its allocation budget, allowing small payloads to cause excessive memory allocation. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.22.0.

Apr 1, 2026A vulnerability in the Metadata update feature of Cisco Nexus Dashboard Insights could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to write arbitrary files to an afCVE-2026-20174 · Network & remote access · Cisco · reported by psirt@cisco.comMedium 4.9
A vulnerability in the Metadata update feature of Cisco Nexus Dashboard Insights could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to write arbitrary files to an affected system. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of the metadata update file. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by crafting a metadata update file and manually uploading it to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to write arbitrary files to the underlying operating system as the root user. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials. Note: Manual uploading of metadata files is typical for Air-Gap environments but not for Cisco Intersight Cloud connected devices. However, the manual upload option exists for both deployments.

Mar 26, 2026Metabase is an open source business intelligence and embedded analytics tool.CVE-2026-33725 · Other software · metabase · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2
Metabase is an open source business intelligence and embedded analytics tool. In Metabase Enterprise prior to versions 1.54.22, 1.55.22, 1.56.22, 1.57.16, 1.58.10, and 1.59.4, authenticated admins on Metabase Enterprise Edition can achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE) and Arbitrary File Read via the `POST /api/ee/serialization/import` endpoint. A crafted serialization archive injects an `INIT` property into the H2 JDBC spec, which can execute arbitrary SQL during a database sync. We confirmed this was possible on Metabase Cloud. This only affects Metabase Enterprise. Metabase OSS lacks the affected codepaths. All versions of Metabase Enterprise that have serialization, which dates back to at least version 1.47, are affected. Metabase Enterprise versions 1.54.22, 1.55.22, 1.56.22, 1.57.16, 1.58.10, and 1.59.4 patch the issue. As a workaround, disable the serialization import endpoint in their Metabase instance to prevent access to the vulnerable codepaths.

Mar 26, 2026Kestra is an open-source, event-driven orchestration platform Versions up to and including 1.3.3 render user-supplied flow YAML metadata fields — description, iCVE-2026-33664 · Other software · kestra-io · reported by GitHubHigh 7.3
Kestra is an open-source, event-driven orchestration platform Versions up to and including 1.3.3 render user-supplied flow YAML metadata fields — description, inputs[].displayName, inputs[].description — through the Markdown.vue component instantiated with html: true. The resulting HTML is injected into the DOM via Vue's v-html without any sanitization. This allows a flow author to embed arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the browser of any user who views or interacts with the flow. This is distinct from GHSA-r36c-83hm-pc8j / CVE-2026-29082, which covers only FilePreview.vue rendering .md files from execution outputs. The present finding affects different components, different data sources, and requires significantly less user interaction (zero-click for input.displayName). As of time of publication, it is unclear if a patch is available.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Squashfs: check metadata block offset is within range Syzkaller reports a "general protection fault in squashfs_copy_data" This is ultimately caused by a corrupted index look-up table, which produces a negative metadata block offset. This is subsequently passed to squashfs_copy_data (via squashfs_read_metadata) where the negative offset causes an out of bounds access. The fix is to check that the offset is within range in squashfs_read_metadata. This will trap this and other cases.

Mar 19, 2026tinytag is a Python library for reading audio file metadata.CVE-2026-32889 · Other software · tinytag · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
tinytag is a Python library for reading audio file metadata. Version 2.2.0 allows an attacker who can supply MP3 files for parsing to trigger a non-terminating loop while the library parses an ID3v2 SYLT (synchronized lyrics) frame. In server-side deployments that automatically parse attacker-supplied files, a single 498-byte MP3 can cause the parsing operation to stop making progress and remain busy until the worker or process is terminated. The root cause is that _parse_synced_lyrics assumes _find_string_end_pos always returns a position greater than the current offset. That assumption is false when no string terminator is present in the remaining frame content. This issue has been fixed in version 2.2.1.

Mar 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs: ntfs3: fix infinite loop in attr_load_runs_range on inconsistent metadata We found an CVE-2025-71265 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs: ntfs3: fix infinite loop in attr_load_runs_range on inconsistent metadata We found an infinite loop bug in the ntfs3 file system that can lead to a Denial-of-Service (DoS) condition. A malformed NTFS image can cause an infinite loop when an attribute header indicates an empty run list, while directory entries reference it as containing actual data. In NTFS, setting evcn=-1 with svcn=0 is a valid way to represent an empty run list, and run_unpack() correctly handles this by checking if evcn + 1 equals svcn and returning early without parsing any run data. However, this creates a problem when there is metadata inconsistency, where the attribute header claims to be empty (evcn=-1) but the caller expects to read actual data. When run_unpack() immediately returns success upon seeing this condition, it leaves the runs_tree uninitialized with run->runs as a NULL. The calling function attr_load_runs_range() assumes that a successful return means that the runs were loaded and sets clen to 0, expecting the next run_lookup_entry() call to succeed. Because runs_tree remains uninitialized, run_lookup_entry() continues to

Mar 18, 2026A JSONPath injection vulnerability in Spring AI's AbstractFilterExpressionConverter allows authenticated users to bypass metadata-based access controls through CVE-2026-22729 · Other software · VMware · reported by security@vmware.comHigh 8.6
A JSONPath injection vulnerability in Spring AI's AbstractFilterExpressionConverter allows authenticated users to bypass metadata-based access controls through crafted filter expressions. User-controlled input passed to FilterExpressionBuilder is concatenated into JSONPath queries without proper escaping, enabling attackers to inject arbitrary JSONPath logic and access unauthorized documents. This vulnerability affects applications using vector stores that extend AbstractFilterExpressionConverter for multi-tenant isolation, role-based access control, or document filtering based on metadata. The vulnerability occurs when user-supplied values in filter expressions are not escaped before being inserted into JSONPath queries. Special characters like ", ||, and && are passed through unescaped, allowing injection of arbitrary JSONPath logic that can alter the intended query semantics.
