  • Sep 2, 2026DSpace open source software is a repository application which provides durable access to digital resources.CVE-2026-49833 · Other software · DSpace · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5

DSpace open source software is a repository application which provides durable access to digital resources. From versions 8.0-rc1 to before 8.4, 9.0-rc1 to before 9.3, and 10-rc1 to before 10.0, a path traversal vulnerability is possible via the COAR Notify / LDN service in DSpace. The attacker MUST already have DSpace administrator credentials in order to perform the attack. When reading a file input stream of an "inbound pattern" / "template", used to generate an LDN message, the LDN class does not check for path traversal or restrict the templates to a known base path. This could allow an untrusted file from elsewhere in the file system (e.g. an export log, a bitstream path, a temporary file) to be read and interpreted as an Apache Velocity template. This issue has been patched in versions 8.4, 9.3, and 10.0.

  • Sep 2, 2026DSpace open source software is a repository application which provides durable access to digital resources.CVE-2026-49831 · Other software · DSpace · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5

DSpace open source software is a repository application which provides durable access to digital resources. Prior to versions 7.6.7, 8.4, 9.3, and 10.0, the Curation Task feature allows an output path to be used by the reporter (-r parameter), typically used to stream results and status of curation task operations. It is not restricted to any particular base path, meaning that any path writable by the DSpace (often 'tomcat') user is allowed. This constitutes a Path Traversal Vulnerability in the curate script. This issue has been patched in versions 7.6.7, 8.4, 9.3, and 10.0.

DSpace open source software is a repository application which provides durable access to digital resources. Prior to versions 7.6.7, 8.4, 9.3, and 10.0, when ingesting an aggregated ORE resource by URI (using the OAI-ORE Harvester), the ORE Ingestion Crosswalk does not validate the URI scheme. This may allow for local file inclusion via malicious paths like file:///etc/passwd. The attacker MUST already have DSpace collection administrator privileges in order to perform the attack. This issue has been patched in versions 7.6.7, 8.4, 9.3, and 10.0.

  • Sep 1, 2026Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications.CVE-2026-75604 · Other software · vercel · reported by GitHubCritical 9

Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. From 13.4.0 until 15.5.24 and 16.3.3, Next.js applications using Pages Router or App Router without Cache Components on Windows-hosted servers do not consistently escape backslashes in route segments before constructing incremental-cache paths. In packages/next/src/shared/lib/router/utils/escape-path-delimiters.ts and packages/next/src/server/lib/incremental-cache/file-system-cache.ts, a remote request can supply encoded Windows path separators that traverse outside the intended cache root and expose private build data, including the server-reference-manifest encryption key. Disclosure of that key can enable remote code execution in the affected application. This issue is fixed in versions 15.5.24 and 16.3.3.

  • Sep 1, 2026SVGO, short for SVG Optimizer, is a Node.js library and command-line application for optimizing SVG files.CVE-2026-84370 · Other software · svg · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

SVGO, short for SVG Optimizer, is a Node.js library and command-line application for optimizing SVG files. From version 1.0.0 until versions 2.8.4, 3.3.5, and 4.1.0, the opt-in removeScripts plugin, named removeScriptElement in versions 2 and 3, incompletely filters executable links in plugins/removeScripts.js and lib/svgo/tools.js. The plugin does not recognize namespace-prefixed SVG anchor elements such as svg:a with href or namespaced *:href values, and it does not remove ASCII tab, line-feed, or carriage-return characters before checking URL schemes. Browsers remove those characters before parsing a scheme, allowing an executable link to pass the plugin's check. When an application processes attacker-controlled SVG input and serves the result in an active browser context, a victim who activates the surviving link can execute script in the SVG's origin, expose data, modify content, or perform actions as the victim. This issue is fixed in versions 2.8.4, 3.3.5, and 4.1.0.

  • Sep 1, 2026Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime.CVE-2026-84365 · Other software · honojs · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. From 4.12.12 until 4.13.5, the fix released for CVE-2026-39408 does not cover every traversal sequence, and toSSG() can still write files outside the configured output directory when a route parameter contains consecutive parent-directory segments. Static site generation builds each output path from the route path and values supplied through ssgParams, then verifies that the result stays inside the output directory using the same normalization routine that built the path. That routine does not fully collapse runs of consecutive parent-directory segments, allowing a path that the check accepts to resolve outside the output directory, and the check also treats output directories that differ in how they are rooted as equivalent. This arises when an application generates a static site from route parameter values it does not fully control, such as slugs from a CMS, API, or user submission. An untrusted ssgParams value can create or overwrite files elsewhere in the build environment and alter generated artifacts or deployment output. The vulnerability affects build-time static site generation only; requ

  • Sep 1, 2026Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime.CVE-2026-84364 · Other software · honojs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. Prior to 4.13.5, when parseBody() expands dot-separated form field names into nested objects with dot-notation parsing enabled, it does not limit the nesting depth or the total number of intermediate objects created. Empty segments are preserved, so one deeply dotted field name can encode one nesting level per byte, while a large number of shallowly dotted fields can create the same amplification across a request. A request body within a normal size limit can therefore allocate an object graph far larger than the request after the body has already been accepted. An unauthenticated attacker who can reach an affected endpoint can send concurrent requests that exhaust the JavaScript heap, terminate the server process, and leave the service unavailable until restart. Dot-notation parsing is not enabled by default, and applications using the default behavior are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.13.5.

  • Sep 1, 2026Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime.CVE-2026-84363 · Other software · honojs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. Prior to 4.13.5, Hono's query helpers treat a question mark after a literal hash fragment as the start of a query string, so the application can read request parameters that browsers, new URL(), reverse proxies, filtering rules, parameter allow and deny lists, access logging, request validation, and other middleware do not observe. The Cache Middleware removes the fragment when building its cache key, allowing a response influenced by parameters inside the fragment to be stored under a key that omits those parameters and later served to other users. This can bypass filtering and auditing, poison cached responses, and enable stored cross-site scripting when an affected parameter is reflected into cached HTML without escaping. Exploitation requires a runtime and intermediary path that passes a literal hash character through to the request URL; Cloudflare Workers and intermediaries that strip fragments are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.13.5.

  • Aug 31, 2026EasyAdmin is a fast and modern admin generator for Symfony applications.CVE-2026-81892 · Other software · EasyCorp · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

EasyAdmin is a fast and modern admin generator for Symfony applications. From 4.0.0 until 4.29.16 and 5.5.1, EasyAdmin serves all backend requests through a single dashboard route and, for custom actions (Action::linkToRoute() and MenuItem::linkToRoute()), swaps the executed controller based on the routeName query parameter on the kernel.controller event. The swap happens after Symfony's security firewall has already evaluated access_control against the original dashboard URL, and the routeName value was not validated. As a result, a path-based access_control rule protecting the target route was never evaluated, so a low-privilege backend user who can reach a single EasyAdmin URL and knows a target route's name can execute that route's controller, bypassing the path-based rule. Only path-based protections are bypassed. Routes whose controller enforces its own authorization with #[IsGranted] or denyAccessUnlessGranted() remain protected because those checks are recomputed against the swapped-in controller. This issue is fixed in versions 4.29.16 and 5.5.1.

Smarty is a template engine for PHP, facilitating the separation of presentation (HTML/CSS) from application logic. Prior to 4.5.7 and 5.8.2, depending on the release line, Smarty's {fetch} handling in libs/plugins/function.fetch.php and src/FunctionHandler/Fetch.php used Security::isTrustedUri() to validate only the initial remote URL against trusted_uri when a security policy was active. For resources handled by file_get_contents(), including HTTPS URLs, PHP followed HTTP redirects by default. An attacker who could supply or influence a fetch target and had an open redirect on a trusted host could redirect the request to an attacker-chosen internal endpoint, bypass the trusted_uri allowlist, and perform server-side request forgery. ResourceIsolationRequestCycleListener protects a Wicket application against cross-site request forgery by rejecting requests that a resource isolation policy judges to come from another origin. Its default policy, FetchMetadataResourceIsolationPolicy, was derived from a reference implementation written to guard static resources, and it inherited two allowances that are unsafe when the thing being guarded is an action on a page: * Every "simple top-level navigation" was allowed. Any GET request carrying Sec-Fetch-Mode: navigate whose Sec-Fetch-Dest was neither object nor embed was allowed, whatever Sec-Fetch-Site said — including cross-site. Wicket invokes component listeners (Link.onClick(), form submits, behaviour callbacks) through ordinary GET navigations, so a page under an attacker's control could navigate the victim's browser to a listener URL and have that listener run inside the victim's authenticated session. Browsers send SameSite=Lax cookies — the effective default when no SameSite attribute is set — on cross-site top-level GET navigations, so the victim's session cookie accompanied the request. * Sec-Fetch-Site: same-site was allowed unconditionally. Improper validation of resource URL attributes in Apache Wicket allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to read files from the web application, including files under WEB-INF that the servlet container would not otherwise serve. The locale, style and variation attributes decoded from a package resource URL are spliced into the resource lookup path without being checked for path separators. The IPackageResourceGuard — whose rejection of .. is one of the two intended controls — is applied to the resource name before those attributes are appended, and WebApplicationPath rejects only paths literally beginning with WEB-INF/. Neither control ever inspects the attacker-controlled portion of the path. On servlet containers that normalize .. in ServletContext.getResource(), a crafted request therefore escapes the intended package directory. The set of readable files is limited to the file extensions permitted by the configured IPackageResourceGuard. The default SecurePackageResourceGuard permits only js, css, png, jpg, jpeg, gif, ico, cur, map, html, txt, swf, bmp, svg, avif, eot, ttf, woff and woff2, which excludes configuration formats. • Aug 31, 2026Permissive Regular Expression vulnerability in ash-project ash_phoenix lets a remote client select the tenant an Ash application uses, or degrade the request, bCVE-2026-82726 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3

Permissive Regular Expression vulnerability in ash-project ash_phoenix lets a remote client select the tenant an Ash application uses, or degrade the request, by sending a crafted Host header. AshPhoenix.Helpers.get_subdomain/2 stripped the root domain with String.replace(host, ~r/.?#{root_host}/, ""). The root host was interpolated raw, so each . became a wildcard and any metacharacter a pattern, and the replace was global and unanchored, so a match was removed from anywhere in the string. With root_host example.com, Host: foo.exampleXcom.attacker.net returned the tenant foo.attacker.net. A metacharacter-bearing or nil root host degraded the pattern or raised on every request. The comparison was also case-sensitive, so TENANT.EXAMPLE.COM and EXAMPLE.COM slipped past the root-host allowlist. conn.host comes from the client Host header. The fix matches the root host case-insensitively and only as an exact trailing suffix. This issue affects ash_phoenix: from 2.1.26 before 2.3.25.

  • Aug 30, 2026Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash_sql allows a caller in a schema-based multitenant application to receive aggregate values computed fromCVE-2026-81318 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1

Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash_sql allows a caller in a schema-based multitenant application to receive aggregate values computed from another tenant's rows. When an aggregate is computed over a distinct query, AshSql.AggregateQuery.add_single_aggs/5 rebuilds the outer query from query.from.source alone, which is only the {table, schema} tuple and does not carry query.prefix or query.from.prefix. For strategy(:context) multitenancy those hold the tenant schema, so the rebuilt outer query reads the repo's default schema while the inner correlated subquery still reads the tenant schema, and the two are joined only on primary key. The aggregate, and any relationship join added off the prefix-less binding, is then computed against the wrong tenant's rows. The neighbouring limit and exists branches instead wrap the query with subquery/1, which preserves the prefix. This issue affects ash_sql: from 0.1.0 before 0.7.1.

  • Aug 28, 2026MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases.CVE-2026-55858 · Other software · mariadb-corporation · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. Prior to 2.7.14, 3.3.5, 3.4.3, and 3.5.9, the connector encodes and decodes protocol text and performs client-side escaping under the assumption that the connection character set is UTF-8. The server can report a mid-session change to character_set_client through OK-packet session-state tracking, including a change caused by SET NAMES, a stored routine or trigger, server configuration, or a hostile server. If character_set_client changes to a non-UTF-8 value, the driver continues to read and write UTF-8 while the server interprets the same bytes under another encoding, causing silent data corruption and a client/server charset-confusion mismatch that can defeat byte-wise quoting or escaping. The fix accepts only utf8, utf8mb3, or utf8mb4 after initialization; any other value causes SQLException with SQLState 08000 and closes the connection. This issue is fixed in versions 2.7.14, 3.3.5, 3.4.3, and 3.5.9.

MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. Prior to 2.7.14, 3.3.5, 3.4.3, and 3.5.9, PAM dialog authentication can be coerced into transmitting the account password over an insecure connection. The mysql_clear_password plugin is gated behind a secure transport, but the sibling PAM handler SendPamAuthPacketFactory, named dialog by the server, does not declare that requirement and inherits the default secure-required value false; older branches implement the same affected behavior in SendPamAuthPacket. A hostile or man-in-the-middle server can send an Authentication Switch Request for dialog over plain TCP, causing the driver to return the user's password in cleartext when sslMode=DISABLE and restrictedAuth=null, which is the default configuration. Properly verified TLS and local Unix sockets are not exposed to this transport vector. This issue is fixed in versions 2.7.14, 3.3.5, 3.4.3, and 3.5.9.

MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. Prior to 2.7.14, 3.3.5, 3.4.3, and 3.5.9, when a Java application connects with sslMode=verify-full or sslMode=verify-ca, supplies a password, and does not configure serverSslCert or trustStore, Connector/J can accept an untrusted self-signed certificate through the fallbackToSystemTrustStore=true ephemeral trust manager and record its certFingerprint for later identity binding. The OK-packet and authentication-switch paths enforce the certificate fingerprint, but the initial-handshake path does not. HandshakeResponse.encode() can therefore build and send a mysql_clear_password response before checking certFingerprint != null && !isMitMProof(), sslMode, or whether the authentication plugin is resistant to a man-in-the-middle, and the initial path also bypasses restrictedAuth. An active man-in-the-middle or hostile server can present a self-signed certificate, claim to be MariaDB, select mysql_clear_password as the initial authentication plugin, and receive the full database password before the connection is rejected. MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases. Prior to 3.2.4, 3.3.3, 3.4.6, and 3.5.3, MariaDB Connector/Node.js permits SQL injection when attacker-controlled Buffer parameters are escaped client-side under the big5, gbk, sjis, cp932, or gb18030 client character sets. PacketOutputStream.writeBufferEscape in lib/io/packet-output-stream.js escaped bytes without the charset-aware getMbRecognizer logic in lib/misc/charset-mb.js. The server SQL lexer runs my_ismbchar before escape processing, so an attacker-controlled lead byte can consume the inserted 0x5C backslash as a multibyte trail byte and leave the following 0x27 quote unescaped, terminating the string literal and allowing arbitrary SQL. The default utf8mb4 character set and parameters sent through the execute binary prepared-statement path are not affected. Successful exploitation can expose or modify data available to the database account. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.4, 3.3.3, 3.4.6, and 3.5.3.

MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases. Prior to 3.2.4, 3.3.3, 3.4.6, and 3.5.3, MariaDB Connector/Node.js can disclose an account password when PAM dialog authentication is negotiated over an insecure transport. In lib/cmd/handshake/auth/pam-password-auth.js and lib/cmd/handshake/authentication.js, the SendPamAuthPacketFactory behavior for the server-side plugin dialog lacked the secure-transport gate applied to mysql_clear_password. With the default sslMode=DISABLE and restrictedAuth=null settings, a hostile or on-path server can send an Authentication Switch Request for dialog over plain TCP, causing the connector to return the account password in cleartext. Properly verified TLS and a local Unix socket prevent this path, while fingerprint-only server identity validation is not sufficient. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.4, 3.3.3, 3.4.6, and 3.5.3.

An application using the MongoDB BI Connector ODBC Driver may encounter a memory-safety issue when a submitted SQL statement contains an unusually long run of digits following a LIMIT clause. The issue occurs only on connections where the driver's optional prefetch setting is enabled, and stems from the driver copying the digit sequence into a fixed-size internal buffer without checking its length. A user able to influence the numeric portion of a LIMIT clause could cause the hosting application process to terminate unexpectedly or corrupt adjacent memory in that process.

A user able to submit SQL through an application using the MongoDB Connector for BI ODBC driver can supply a positioned-cursor statement whose cursor name exceeds the size of an internal fixed-length buffer. Because the name length is not bounded before the driver builds its diagnostic message, memory adjacent to that buffer is overwritten with user-supplied content. This can terminate the hosting application process and may allow unintended code to run within it.

MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases. Prior to versions 3.3.3, 3.4.6, and 3.5.3, when ssl is enabled without a pinned CA or server certificate, MariaDB Connector/Node.js sends credentials before completing certificate fingerprint validation. In lib/cmd/handshake/auth/handshake.js, a server that selects mysql_clear_password as the initial authentication plugin can receive the password before the post-TLS identity check. In lib/cmd/handshake/authentication.js, an authentication switch can evaluate the previous plugin instead of the requested target plugin, allowing mysql_clear_password to send the credential first. An active man-in-the-middle can present a self-signed certificate, capture the database password, and use it to authenticate directly even though the connector later rejects the server and closes the connection. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.3, 3.4.6, and 3.5.3.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: igc: remove napi_synchronize() in igc_down() When an AF_XDP zero-copy application is killed abruptly, the XSK pool is torn down but NAPI keeps polling. igc_clean_rx_irq_zc() then returns the full budget on every poll, so napi_complete_done() never clears NAPI_STATE_SCHED. igc_down() calls napi_synchronize() before napi_disable(), so it spins forever waiting for that bit and the interface never goes down. Drop the napi_synchronize() and let napi_disable() do the job -- it sets NAPI_STATE_DISABLE, which forces the stuck poll to complete. Reorder it ahead of igc_set_queue_napi() so the NAPI mapping is cleared only after polling has stopped, matching the recent igb fix b1e067240379.

FastGPT is an open-source LLM platform for building AI applications on a knowledge base. In versions prior to 4.15.2, the WeChat (iLink) share-channel endpoints authorize requests using only the public shareId, with no authenticated identity or team-ownership check. As a result, an unauthenticated attacker who knows a victim team's shareId can take that team's WeChat bot offline or hijack the channel to their own bot: the logout endpoint is gated only by an existence check yet wipes the outLink's stored WeChat token, and the QR-code status endpoint performs no authorization at all and writes attacker-supplied bot credentials into the outLink identified by shareId. By generating a QR for a victim shareId, scanning it with their own WeChat, and calling the status endpoint, an attacker binds the victim team's app to the attacker's bot, exposing the app's private responses, displacing the legitimate binding, and consuming the victim's resources. The shareId is exposed in every shared chat URL, iframe, and embed, so it is not a secret. This issue is fixed in version 4.15.2.

Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions up to and including 0.103.0, the public share-search endpoint does not enforce the per-note shareCredentials and shareHiddenFromTree controls, allowing an unauthenticated visitor to read the titles, tree paths, and content of protected shared notes. The endpoint authorizes only the ancestor note supplied in the request and then runs a full-text search across the entire published subtree, returning each matching note's title, share identifier, and hierarchical path without re-checking whether that individual note requires a share password or is hidden from the navigation tree. Because the search matches note content, an attacker can enumerate protected notes and use the endpoint as a boolean oracle that confirms arbitrary substrings, recovering the full contents of notes that should be gated behind a password. This issue is fixed in version 0.104.0.

  • Aug 27, 2026Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application.CVE-2026-53580 · Other software · TriliumNext · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions prior to 0.104.0, the automatic image-download feature accepts file:// URLs in a note's img tags and reads the referenced local file with no path validation, allowing any authenticated user to disclose arbitrary files readable by the Trilium process. When a text note is saved, Trilium scans its HTML for image sources and downloads each external one; because the HTML sanitizer keeps file as an allowed scheme, a source such as file:///etc/passwd is passed straight to a filesystem read and its contents are stored as a note attachment the user can then retrieve. Pointing the same primitive at an unbounded source such as /dev/zero causes uncontrolled memory allocation that crashes the server process. The feature is enabled by default and is reachable through the web UI, the ETAPI, the web clipper, and note imports, requiring only an authenticated session or an ETAPI token. • Aug 27, 2026Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application.CVE-2026-53579 · Other software · TriliumNext · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions up to and including 0.103.0, the default-on "Safe import" filter sanitizes HTML only for text notes and excludes the book note type, whose content is stored without sanitization and later rendered as HTML, allowing an attacker-supplied import archive to embed a payload that executes as script. A book note's content is routed through the same rendering path as text notes and injected into the page with jQuery's html method when the note is shown as a grid-view preview card, so a malicious note survives Safe import and runs as soon as the victim opens the containing note. On the desktop client the Electron renderer runs with Node integration enabled, so the injected JavaScript escalates from cross-site scripting to full remote code execution on the victim's machine. This issue is fixed in version 0.104.0.
