  • Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clocksource/drivers/timer-sun4i: Advertise a real minimum delta sun4i_clkevt_next_event() CVE-2026-93219 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clocksource/drivers/timer-sun4i: Advertise a real minimum delta sun4i_clkevt_next_event() compensates for the timer stop/start synchronization delay by programming evt - TIMER_SYNC_TICKS into the hardware interval register. The clockevent device currently advertises TIMER_SYNC_TICKS as min_delta_ticks, so the clockevents core is allowed to call set_next_event() with evt == TIMER_SYNC_TICKS. That programs a zero-tick interval. With oneshot/highres/nohz timer operation this can leave the next event stuck, which was observed as a boot hang on Allwinner D1 after the clockevents core started reusing forced minimum-delta events. Advertise one extra tick instead, so the smallest event accepted by the core still programs at least one hardware tick after the synchronization compensation.

  • Sep 24, 2026Logto is the modern, open-source auth infrastructure for SaaS and AI apps.CVE-2026-63203 · Other software · logto-io · reported by GitHubHigh 7.6

    Logto is the modern, open-source auth infrastructure for SaaS and AI apps. From 1.31.0 until 1.42.0, the Account API handlers in packages/core/src/routes/account/third-party-tokens.ts allow a caller holding a same-user access token with only the openid scope to retrieve stored social or enterprise SSO provider access tokens through GET /api/my-account/identities/{target}/access-token or GET /api/my-account/sso-identities/{connectorId}/access-token. The handlers authenticate the user but do not require the identities scope that protects neighboring identity-detail operations, bypassing the intended Account API consent boundary. Exploitation requires federated token-set storage to be enabled and the affected user to have authenticated through a supported connector. A low-trust application can use the disclosed provider token against upstream APIs within that token's granted scopes. This issue is fixed in version 1.42.0.

  • Sep 24, 2026Logto is the modern, open-source auth infrastructure for SaaS and AI apps.CVE-2026-56739 · Other software · logto-io · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

    Logto is the modern, open-source auth infrastructure for SaaS and AI apps. Prior to 1.43.0, Logto fetches administrator-controlled outbound destinations without validating the address used for the connection. Webhook delivery in packages/core/src/libraries/hook/utils.ts can reach special-use and cloud metadata addresses. Custom OAuth2 connectors can use an attacker-selected userInfoEndpoint and forward the OAuth access token in the Authorization header, while OIDC connectors can fetch an attacker-selected jwksUri. The affected operations require tenant administrative configuration access, but they cross the server's network boundary and can expose internal data or upstream provider credentials. This issue is fixed in version 1.43.0.

  • Sep 24, 2026phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application.CVE-2026-56737 · Other software · thorsten · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

    phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application. Versions 3.2.0 through 4.1.5 contain an authentication bypass in its public two-factor authentication verification flow: an unauthenticated attacker can submit an account’s numeric user ID and a valid or brute-forced six-digit TOTP code without first authenticating with the account password, allowing takeover of any 2FA-enabled account, including administrator accounts. Version 4.1.6 is patched by binding TOTP verification to a session established after successful password authentication and limiting failed TOTP attempts. No official workaround is documented; affected installations should upgrade to 4.1.6 or later.

  • Sep 24, 2026phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application.CVE-2026-56736 · Other software · thorsten · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

    phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application. A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in versions prior to 4.2.0-alpha allows any unauthenticated user (or low-privileged registered user) to inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes in an administrator's browser when they review or edit a user-submitted FAQ entry. This leads to admin account takeover via session theft. The vulnerability exists because `html_entity_decode()` converts HTML entities into executable HTML after `strip_tags()` has already passed them through, and the admin template renders the content with Twig's `|raw` filter without any output sanitization. Version 4.2.0-alpha fixes the issue.

  • Sep 23, 2026Sulu is an open-source PHP content management system based on the Symfony framework.CVE-2026-92692 · Other software · sulu · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

    Sulu is an open-source PHP content management system based on the Symfony framework. Prior to 2.6.25 and 3.0.8, the affected Sulu 2.6 and 3.0 release lines have a Smart Content QueryBuilder in src/Sulu/Component/Content/SmartContent/QueryBuilder.php that concatenates category identifiers from the public categories query parameter into a JCR-SQL2 WHERE clause without numeric validation. On a public page containing a category-filtered Smart Content block, an unauthenticated attacker can alter query conditions to infer or enumerate content-repository nodes, including unpublished content, or submit malformed and expensive query fragments that degrade availability; this path does not modify repository data. • Sep 23, 2026InvoiceShelf is an open-source web & mobile app that helps track expenses, payments and create professional invoices and estimates.CVE-2026-55610 · Other software · InvoiceShelf · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

    InvoiceShelf is an open-source web & mobile app that helps track expenses, payments and create professional invoices and estimates. Prior to version 2.4.1, in InvoiceShelf's multi-company installations, any user who is an Owner of one company can read and overwrite any user account in any other company on the same installation. `GET/PUT /api/v1/users/{user}` resolves the target `User` by global primary key, and `UserPolicy` checks only that the requester owns their own header-company — it never verifies that the target user belongs to that company. This allows cross-tenant disclosure of user data and full account takeover (email/password overwrite + company re-assignment). Version 2.4.1 fixes the issue.

    Improper link resolution before file access ('link following') vulnerability in the `tar` source plugin of Apache BuildStream running on Python < 3.12 allows malicious source tarballs to write files on the host, with the privileges of the user running BuildStream, via symlinks as part of source fetching. The impact of this issue is mitigated by: * BuildStream projects should only use trusted sources in their elements as otherwise the build output can also not be trusted * Tracking a source tarball pins its SHA256 hash, which prevents MITM attacks of users that are fetching an already tracked project * When running on Python >= 3.12, BuildStream >= 2.3.0 already makes use of the Python `tarfile` filter functionality, which blocks the symlink escape Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.8.1, which fixes this issue.

    Unleash is an open-source feature management platform. In a multi-project Pro or Enterprise deployment, an authenticated user with UPDATE_FEATURE_STRATEGY in one project who knows another project's strategy IDs can reorder those strategies, changing feature evaluation precedence while the operation is attributed to the attacker's URL context rather than the affected project. The single-project OSS edition lacks the cross-project dimension, although the missing context binding still permits unauthorized reordering across features or environments in the default project. The endpoint changes only sort_order and does not modify strategy parameters, constraints, or segments. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.3.

  • Sep 22, 2026Nautobot is a Network Source of Truth and Network Automation Platform.CVE-2026-83805 · Other software · nautobot · reported by GitHubMedium 6.4

    Nautobot is a Network Source of Truth and Network Automation Platform. From 3.0.0 until 3.1.8, the generic ApprovalWorkflowStageResponse create endpoint does not enforce approver-group membership, change permission on the object under review, or the one-response-per-user restriction applied by the intended approve and deny actions. A user with only extras.add_approvalworkflowstageresponse can submit approved responses directly, while writable user and state fields permit responses to be attributed to arbitrary users. These forged responses can satisfy min_approvers, approve the workflow, and activate its gated ScheduledJob without a legitimate approver. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.8.

  • Sep 22, 2026Nautobot is a Network Source of Truth and Network Automation Platform.CVE-2026-83801 · Other software · nautobot · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

    Nautobot is a Network Source of Truth and Network Automation Platform. Prior to 2.4.37 and 3.1.8, a user with extras.add_relationship or extras.change_relationship permission can store HTML or JavaScript in a Relationship description, and a user with dcim.add_modulefamily or dcim.change_modulefamily permission can store it in a Module Family name. Nautobot assigns these values to form field help_text rendered by render_field.html through Django's |safe filter without adequate neutralization. The stored content executes in the authenticated browser session of any user, including an administrator or superuser, who opens an affected create or edit form. This can enable actions as the victim, session or token theft, and further privilege escalation. This issue is fixed in versions 2.4.37 and 3.1.8.

  • Sep 22, 2026MPXJ is an open source library to read and write project plans from a variety of file formats and databases.CVE-2026-65829 · Other software · joniles · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

    MPXJ is an open source library to read and write project plans from a variety of file formats and databases. From 7.3.0 until 16.5.0, reading a suitably crafted Primavera P3 PRX or SureTrak STX file can cause MPXJ to write files to arbitrary locations in the filesystem. • Sep 22, 2026MPXJ is an open source library to read and write project plans from a variety of file formats and databases.CVE-2026-61570 · Other software · joniles · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

    MPXJ is an open source library to read and write project plans from a variety of file formats and databases. From 5.5.5 until 16.4.1, MerlinReader creates a DocumentBuilder with default settings while parsing XML from the ZTIMEINTERVALS column of a Merlin project SQLite database, leaving doctype declarations and external entities enabled. A crafted database can cause the parser to read an arbitrary local file, although MPXJ's subsequent handling of the parsed XML makes disclosure of the file contents unlikely. This issue is fixed in version 16.4.1.

  • Sep 22, 2026Spree is an open source e-commerce solution built with Ruby on Rails.CVE-2026-94462 · Other software · spree · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

    Spree is an open source e-commerce solution built with Ruby on Rails. From 5.4.0 until 5.4.4 and 5.5.4, PATCH /api/v3/store/carts/:id/associate in Spree::Api::V3::Store::CartsController#associate uses find_cart_for_association to locate a cart by prefixed_id but does not require a cart token or otherwise verify possession of the selected guest cart. An authenticated customer can derive reversible prefixed cart IDs, associate an eligible guest cart with the attacker's account, and receive billing and shipping address data from the cart. Exploitation requires a guest cart with address data on a store that does not require login for checkout, and reassignment can also disrupt the guest's in-progress cart. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.4 and 5.5.4.

  • Sep 22, 2026Home Assistant is open source home automation software focused on local control and privacy.CVE-2026-91130 · Other software · home-assistant · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

    Home Assistant is open source home automation software focused on local control and privacy. Prior to 2026.7.0, the Statistics Graph card in src/components/chart/statistics-chart.ts passed entity names through getStatisticLabel and computeStateName and interpolated param.seriesName into ECharts tooltip HTML without escaping. An authenticated user or an integration that supplies a malicious default entity name could cause script-related HTML to execute when a viewer hovered over a data point. Mean, State, Sum, and Change fields in the default Line chart configuration were affected, while Bar charts were not. This issue is fixed in version 2026.7.0.

  • Sep 22, 2026Home Assistant is open source home automation software focused on local control and privacy.CVE-2026-91129 · Other software · home-assistant · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

    Home Assistant is open source home automation software focused on local control and privacy. Prior to 2026.2.3, the IPP integration automatically processed unauthenticated _ipp._tcp.local mDNS announcements in homeassistant/components/ipp/config_flow.py, where async_step_zeroconf passed attacker-controlled host, port, and base_path values to validate_input for printer metadata retrieval. Because the shared HTTP client followed attacker-controlled cross-origin redirects without blocking loopback targets, a local-network attacker could redirect the request to 127.0.0.1 or another internal service without user interaction or prior IPP configuration. This issue is fixed in version 2026.2.3.

  • Sep 22, 2026Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor.CVE-2026-86056 · Other software · notepad-plus-plus · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5

    Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. Prior to 8.9.8, the NPPM_SAVESESSION handler in PowerEditor/src/NppBigSwitch.cpp converts lParam to a sessionInfo pointer and dereferences its nbFile, files, and sessionFilePathName members without checking for null. A process running at the same or a higher Windows integrity level on the same desktop can send NPPM_SAVESESSION with a null lParam, immediately terminating Notepad++ and causing denial of service and loss of unsaved documents. This issue is fixed in version 8.9.8.

  • Sep 22, 2026Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor.CVE-2026-86054 · Other software · notepad-plus-plus · reported by GitHubHigh 7.8

    Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. Prior to 8.9.8, Notepad++ contains a stack buffer overflow in NppParameters::writeSession in PowerEditor/src/Parameters.cpp because it copies a session path derived from -settingsDir= into backupPathName[MAX_PATH] with unbounded wcscpy and appends SESSION_BACKUP_EXT with unbounded wcscat. A sufficiently long settings directory causes the backup suffix to exceed the fixed stack buffer when Notepad++ saves the session, and the protected release build terminates through its stack canary, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 8.9.8.

From 8.9.7 until 8.9.8, the Notepad++ updater and signature verification path can accept a modified GUP.exe file whose embedded certificate metadata remains present even though its Authenticode digest is invalid. An attacker who can replace or plant the updater-related file can cause Notepad++ to launch attacker-modified code when a user triggers the updater path, but the issue does not provide remote code execution by itself. • Sep 22, 2026Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor.CVE-2026-85288 · Other software · notepad-plus-plus · reported by GitHubMedium 6.7

    Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. Prior to 8.9.8, Notepad++ incompletely enforces shortcuts.xml HMAC validation because WM_MACRODLGRUNMACRO, the Run a Macro Multiple Times entry point, calls macroPlayback() without the validation used by command(). A tampered shortcuts.xml macro that is blocked through the Macro menu or a shortcut key can therefore execute through the multi-run dialog and invoke internal Notepad++ commands, including commands that launch external programs, in the current user context. This issue is fixed in version 8.9.8.

  • Sep 22, 2026Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor.CVE-2026-85279 · Other software · notepad-plus-plus · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

    Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. Prior to 8.9.8, Notepad++ contains a stack buffer overflow in PluginsManager::loadPluginFromPath in PowerEditor/src/MISC/PluginsManager/PluginsManager.cpp because the plugin-supplied GetLexerCount() result controls a loop that writes to containers[30] without enforcing NB_MAX_EXTERNAL_LANG. A malicious or compromised plugin that reports more than 30 lexers can write beyond the stack array and corrupt control data, which can permit arbitrary code execution in the Notepad++ process context. Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. Prior to 8.9.8, the Folder as Workspace Run by system action in Notepad++ can resolve a different sibling file than the file selected by the user. When an attacker places a command script whose name is the selected text-file path with .cmd appended, and the user invokes Run by system on the text file on Windows 10 or Windows 11, Notepad++ can execute the sibling script as the current user instead of opening the selected file.
