  • Sep 26, 2026vLLM through 0.29.0 fetches and fully materializes remote or inline media before enforcing its documented media controls (the VLLM_MAX_AUDIO_CLIP_FILESIZE_MB coCVE-2026-100650 · Other software · vllm-project · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1

vLLM through 0.29.0 fetches and fully materializes remote or inline media before enforcing its documented media controls (the VLLM_MAX_AUDIO_CLIP_FILESIZE_MB compressed-audio size cap, default 25 MB, and the per-modality --limit-mm-per-prompt item limits). Across four ingress paths — the shared media-acquisition layer (HTTPConnection.get_bytes()/async_get_bytes()), the chat completions audio_url/base64 path, the batch speech runner, and the Rust frontend POST /tokenize route — the server reads the entire HTTP response body, base64-decodes the inline payload, or spawns one fetch/decode task per media part, and only then applies the limit (or, on some paths, never applies it). A remote attacker can therefore cause the API server or batch-runner process to allocate memory and consume outbound bandwidth proportional to an attacker-chosen body size or media item count before the request is rejected, resulting in pre-inference memory and bandwidth exhaustion (denial of service). The chat and batch surfaces require an API key when one is configured; the Rust frontend /tokenize route is unauthenticated by design. There is no code execution or data disclosure impact.

Capgo (capgo.app) contains an incomplete access-control/content-lock enforcement issue affecting all versions; no patch is available at the time of publication. The `enforce_encrypted_bundle_trigger` / `check_encrypted_bundle_on_insert` content lock in supabase/schemas/prod.sql exempts `app_versions` rows whose previous `storage_provider` is `r2-direct`, so delivery-critical columns (name, app_id, session_key, key_id, storage_provider, r2_path, external_url, checksum, manifest, native_packages) remain mutable while a row is in that state. Separately, the channel/version join used by the `/updates` endpoint (supabase/functions/_backend/utils/pg.ts) filters only deleted versions and does not exclude `r2-direct` versions, so such rows remain OTA-selectable. An attacker holding a Capgo API key with bundle write/upload permission can create or keep a bundle version in the `r2-direct` state, assign it to a channel, and then modify these fields via direct PostgREST requests, causing altered bundle metadata (for example checksum and session_key) to be served to devices through `/updates`. This bypasses the post-upload content immutability hardening added for a previous app_versions metadat

  • Sep 26, 2026Capgo (capgo.app) through version 12.261.0 contains an incomplete access-control fix for the public.sso_providers table.CVE-2026-100612 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6

Capgo (capgo.app) through version 12.261.0 contains an incomplete access-control fix for the public.sso_providers table. Migration 20260826100000_sso_providers_block_direct_active_insert.sql installs a BEFORE UPDATE guard (enforce_sso_provider_client_update_guard()) that freezes only the dns_verified_at, domain, status and enforce_sso columns; provider_id (as well as metadata_url and attribute_mapping) is left writable. Because the table is granted ALL to the anon and authenticated roles with no column-level restriction, and PostgreSQL row-level security policies such as allow_org_admins_update_sso_providers constrain only which row may be updated and not which columns, a user holding the org_admin tier permission org.update_settings can PATCH provider_id over PostgREST to an identity provider under their control. Since provider_id is the trust anchor binding an email domain to an authorized IdP, the attacker can then authenticate through their own IdP while asserting the org owner's email; the server-side provider match succeeds and the merge routine attaches the attacker's SSO identity to the existing owner account, nulls its password, and deletes its other identities and session

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.7.1 does not enforce the administrator scope requirement on browser control when it is reached through the node.inCVE-2026-100588 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.7.1 does not enforce the administrator scope requirement on browser control when it is reached through the node.invoke method, although direct browser.request access requires administrator scope. In Gateway deployments that honor caller identity and narrower operator scopes, a write-scoped caller with access to a connected browser-capable node can inspect pages, navigate tabs, or interact with browser-visible applications without the configured admin requirement; practical impact depends on the browser profile and signed-in state. Shared-secret token and password callers are considered fully trusted operators under OpenClaw's security model and are not affected. The issue is fixed in 2026.7.1.

OpenClaw (npm package `openclaw`) before 2026.8.1 does not neutralize leading characters that spreadsheet applications interpret as formulas when the Control UI exports session data to CSV. Although session labels were quoted as CSV text, a lower-trust participant who can influence a session label or the first user message can place a formula-like cell in the Usage export; if an operator opens that export in a spreadsheet application with formula evaluation enabled, the cell may be evaluated with the permissions of the spreadsheet user. • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw for iOS versions >= 2026.7.1 and < 2026.8.11 do not enforce saved Gateway TLS pins in the Control UI.CVE-2026-100551 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9

OpenClaw for iOS versions >= 2026.7.1 and < 2026.8.11 do not enforce saved Gateway TLS pins in the Control UI. While native connections enforced the saved Gateway fingerprint, the authenticated Terminal and session Dashboard WebViews omitted it. If a user had accepted a Gateway fingerprint, an attacker able to redirect the same host and port and present a different certificate that is accepted by iOS system trust can serve a replacement Control UI page; opening the Terminal or a session Dashboard then allows that page to read the injected Gateway token or password. The stolen credential can grant operator access, including reading sensitive Gateway state and invoking host-capable tools. This issue is fixed in 2026.8.11.

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 contains an access-control bypass in the Microsoft Teams integration. When groupPolicy is set to allowlist, a missing or unsupported configured access group produces a denied group-resolution result that is not rejected by the final message-admission check, so a Teams member who is not on the allowlist can still trigger the configured agent despite the administrator's group boundary. The impact depends on the conversations, tools, and data available to that agent. The issue is fixed in version 2026.8.1.

Readwise Reader for Android constructs URLs in its WebView using attacker-controlled metadata without proper encoding or escaping. The application interpolates untrusted values directly into URL strings and inserts them into the DOM via innerHTML. Because the interpolation occurs without HTML or JavaScript context encoding, a crafted metadata value can break out of the intended URL structure and inject script content. An attacker could supply a document containing malicious metadata that, once synchronized to an Android device and rendered in the Reader WebView, results in execution of injected script content, enabling stored cross-site scripting (XSS)

Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component in the colour control escape code handler in kitty from 0.47.3 before 0.49.0 allows a program writing to the terminal to execute an arbitrary command in the user's shell, because color_control() in kitty/window.py answers a query for an unrecognised field name by placing that field name into the reply, and write_escape_code_to_child() in kitty/screen.c then writes the reply to the pseudoterminal master, where it is not distinguishable from input typed by the user, without neutralising it for the shell that reads it. The payload is reduced to printable ASCII before the field name is echoed, which is the restriction introduced in 0.47.3 as the fix for CVE-2026-54057, and the record and field separators ; and = are consumed as delimiters, but every other printable character survives, which is sufficient to compose a shell command. A newline is available from handle_remote_ssh() in kitty/window.py, which writes the bytes yielded by get_ssh_data() in kittens/ssh/utils.py, the first of which begin with a newline, to the pseudoterminal master before any credential carried in the request is checked. • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: genetlink: pin family module during policy dump The generic netlink controller's policy duCVE-2026-97901 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: genetlink: pin family module during policy dump The generic netlink controller's policy dump keeps pointers to the target family's operation and policy tables in its callback state. A dump may be split across multiple skbs and remain pending after the initial request. Netlink pins the module which owns the dump callback, but in this case that is the controller's owner rather than the target family's owner. The target family can consequently be unregistered and its module unloaded while a policy dump is pending. Advancing the dump then dereferences policy memory from the unloaded module. Take a reference to the target family's module when the dump starts. Drop it from the error and done paths. This matches the lifetime for which the dump context retains the family and policy pointers.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Bound VP index against VP_CTRL IOCB bitmap size The VP control IOCB selects its target virtual port by setting one bit in vp_idx_map, a fixed 16-byte (128-bit) array in both vp_ctrl_entry_24xx and vp_ctrl_entry_24xx_ext. qla25xx_ctrlvp_iocb() computes map = (vp_index - 1) / 8 and writes vce->vp_idx_map[map] without checking that map stays within the array. max_npiv_vports is taken from firmware and only sanitized to a MIN_MULTI_ID_FABRIC-aligned boundary, so it can legitimately be 191 or 255, and qla24xx_control_vp() only rejects vp_index >= max_npiv_vports. A vp_index above 128 therefore yields map >= 16 and an out-of-bounds write of up to 16 bytes past vp_idx_map, corrupting the trailing IOCB fields (or the adjacent request-ring slot on the 64-byte layout). Reject a vp_index that cannot be represented in the IOCB bitmap in qla24xx_control_vp(), and add a defensive ARRAY_SIZE() guard in qla25xx_ctrlvp_iocb() before the write. Adapters that report the usual 63 or 127 NPIV vports are unaffected.

Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes vulnerability in ash-project ash allows a user to set the value of a private action argument on the bulk destroy and bulk update paths. Action arguments declared with public?: false are meant to be set only by trusted server-side code (for example via Ash.Changeset.set_private_argument/3) and must not be settable from end-user input. CVE-2026-55736 fixed the non-bulk changeset path to strip private arguments from user-supplied parameter maps, but the bulk destroy and bulk update paths were not covered. Ash.Actions.Destroy.Bulk.base_changeset/5 and Ash.Actions.Update.Bulk.base_changeset/5 match every key in the caller-supplied parameter map against all of the action's arguments with no public? check, then apply the matches to the base changeset. A caller who can submit parameters to a bulk destroy or bulk update action (for example through AshJsonApi, AshGraphql, or a controller that forwards request parameters to Ash.bulk_destroy/4 or Ash.bulk_update/4) can therefore set any private argument of that action, including one referenced by an arg(...) template in the action's changes or validations. Apache Airflow HashiCorp provider: the HashiCorp Vault secrets backend's team-scope guard can be bypassed with a user-controlled key. In a multi-team deployment, a Dag author scoped to one team can supply a Variable key containing a path separator that causes the backend to resolve a secret belonging to a different team, because after the team-scoped lookup misses the backend falls back to a team-agnostic path concatenated from the unvalidated key. The Execution API Variables route accepts a path-shaped key, so this is reachable from ordinary Dag code. Affects multi-team deployments using the HashiCorp Vault secrets backend. Single-team deployments are not affected, as there is no cross-team boundary to cross. This is the same class as CVE-2026-86465, CVE-2026-68870, CVE-2026-68871 and CVE-2026-68872 in the Akeyless, Azure Key Vault, Yandex Lockbox and Amazon secrets backends. ServiceNow has remediated an improper access control security issue that was identified in the ServiceNow AI Platform. This security issue could enable an unauthenticated user, in certain circumstances, to create, modify, or delete instance data beyond what was intended. In August 2026, ServiceNow deployed a security update to hosted instances and ServiceNow provided the update to our partners and self-hosted customers. We are not currently aware of malicious exploitation against ServiceNow instances. We recommend customers promptly apply appropriate updates or upgrade to a patched release if they have not already done so.

Handling errors in UAS and the storage driver may involve resetting a device. The thread doing the reset itself relies on VM magic. However, that is insufficient, as resetting a device involves resuming it. Resumption as well as resetting involves conrol transfers to the parent of the device to be reset. That may be a root hub. Hence usbcore must heed the flags passed to usb_submit_urb() processing control transfers to root hubs. The problem exist since the storage driver has been merged.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ata: ahci: fail probe if BAR too small for claimed ports When an AHCI controller is disabled in BIOS, its HOST_CAP register may contain a bogus value, e.g. 0xFFFFFFFF. Since CAP.NP (Number of Ports) is a zeroes based 5-bit register field, a value of 0x1f means 32 ports. If CAP.NP claims more ports than can physically fit within the mapped BAR region, accessing port registers beyond the BAR boundary causes a kernel panic. Add validation in ahci_init_one() to check that the BAR size is sufficient for the number of ports claimed in CAP.NP. The check calculates the required MMIO size as: required_size = 0x100 (global registers) + max_ports * 0x80 If required_size exceeds the actual BAR size, the probe fails with -ENODEV, preventing the panic and providing a clear error message. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: core: Abort active target transfer on controller suspend When an SPI controller operating in target mode has a transfer in progress at the time of system suspend, the suspend path proceeds without aborting the ongoing transfer. This can leave the hardware in an inconsistent state, potentially causing the system to hang or fail to resume cleanly. Fix this by invoking the controller's target_abort callback from spi_controller_suspend() when the controller is in target mode and the callback is registered. This ensures any active target transfer is cleanly terminated before the controller is suspended.

  • Sep 23, 2026A flaw was found in the Ansible Automation Platform automation controller.CVE-2026-85475 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.2

A flaw was found in the Ansible Automation Platform automation controller. The external logging (rsyslog) configuration is generated by interpolating user-controlled settings — LOG_AGGREGATOR_HOST, LOG_AGGREGATOR_MAX_DISK_USAGE_PATH and LOG_AGGREGATOR_RSYSLOGD_ERROR_LOG_FILE — into an rsyslog RainerScript config file without neutralizing RainerScript syntax. A privileged (superuser) user can inject rsyslog directives, including an omprog action, causing arbitrary command execution inside the control-plane rsyslog component. This allows disclosure of the controller SECRET_KEY and database credentials, decryption of all stored credentials, and full compromise of the control plane.

  • Sep 23, 2026An argument-injection flaw was found in the Ansible Automation Platform automation-controller system-job subsystem.CVE-2026-84724 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.6

An argument-injection flaw was found in the Ansible Automation Platform automation-controller system-job subsystem. The system-job template launch endpoint stores a user-supplied "days" variable without running the integer validation defined elsewhere for that field, and the dispatcher flattens the management-command argument list into a single string with spaces before the job runner re-splits it, so spaces in the value become additional command-line arguments. Because system jobs are executed in-process on the control node without the container isolation applied to all other job types, an authenticated user with superuser privileges can inject arbitrary arguments — including Python's path option — into the control-plane awx-manage process, controlling its argument vector and the first entry of its module search path. Full remote code execution requires an additional import gadget that is not present in the current management commands, so the demonstrated impact is argument injection with control of the process search path rather than confirmed code execution.

  • Sep 23, 2026A server-side request forgery flaw was found in the Ansible Automation Platform automation-controller email notification backend.CVE-2026-84721 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.4

A server-side request forgery flaw was found in the Ansible Automation Platform automation-controller email notification backend. The email backend passes the user-supplied SMTP host and port from a notification template directly to the SMTP client without validating that the target is not an internal, loopback, link-local, or reserved address. An authenticated user with organization notification-admin permission can create or modify an email notification template pointing at an arbitrary internal address, trigger a test, and have the controller task process open a raw TCP connection to that address. The resulting connection error is reflected back through the notification record, providing a three-state internal port-scan oracle (open, closed, filtered) over the control-plane's cluster network, including the in-cluster Kubernetes API. When a shared organization template holds a stored SMTP password, redirecting the host can also cause that credential to be transmitted to an attacker-controlled server.

  • Sep 23, 2026A flaw was found in the Ansible Automation Platform automation-controller.CVE-2026-84720 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.5

A flaw was found in the Ansible Automation Platform automation-controller. The WorkflowJobNode.ancestor_artifacts database column, which stores the raw merged set_stats artifacts propagated between workflow nodes, is not wrapped in prevent_search() and is therefore accepted for arbitrary field lookups by the REST filter backend, even though it is omitted from the API serializer. Because the column is persisted before Ansible's no_log masking is applied, a user with only read access to a workflow — or, via a regular-expression lookup that bypasses the JSON cross-relation filter guard through the world-readable credential-types endpoint, any authenticated user with no roles — can use the result count as a boolean/count oracle to recover, character by character, secret values that a playbook author explicitly marked no_log, including across organizations.

A user with organization workflow-admin permission but no role on the referenced instance groups can copy a workflow, become its administrator, and launch jobs pinned to instance groups they are not authorized to use — including the control-plane instance group — bypassing the InstanceGroup use_role boundary and causing attacker-influenced automation to run in the control-plane execution context.

A flaw was found in the Ansible Automation Platform automation-controller. In the shipped production configuration, the Controller trusts the client-supplied X-Forwarded-For header as the request's client IP without verifying that it originated from a trusted proxy, and selects the leftmost (attacker-controlled) header value. A flaw was found in the automation-controller instance install-bundle endpoint. When a System Administrator downloads an execution/hop node's install bundle, the controller signs an X.509 certificate with the receptor mesh certificate authority in which the Common Name, DNS subject-alternative-name, and receptor node-id are taken verbatim from the caller-chosen instance hostname, with a hard-coded ten-year validity, a random serial, and no issuance log or revocation list. Because the hostname charset validator is case-insensitive while the uniqueness validator is case-sensitive, an administrator can register a case variant of an existing control node's hostname and obtain a mesh-CA-signed certificate that TLS peers, which match hostnames case-insensitively, accept as that control node.
