Oct 26, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vc4: drain the hangcheck timer and works on V3D unbind Nothing stops the hangcheck timCVE-2026-99095 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vc4: drain the hangcheck timer and works on V3D unbind Nothing stops the hangcheck timer that submitted jobs arm, or the job_done_work that the render-done interrupt queues, at teardown: vc4_irq_disable() cancels only overflow_mem_work, and vc4_gem_destroy() runs from the drm-managed release, after vc4_v3d_unbind() has already uninstalled the V3D interrupt and cleared vc4->v3d. A timer still armed by then reads V3D registers through the NULL vc4->v3d pointer, and the late callbacks run on the vc4_dev embedding them after it has been freed. Drain them in vc4_v3d_unbind(): shut the timer down and cancel reset_work before the interrupt is taken down, because its vc4_irq_reset() re-enables it, then flush job_done_work so that completions queued at teardown still release their jobs. This issue was found by an in-house static analysis tool.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: samsung: i2s: enable op_clk in probe to balance runtime PM The probe function puts the device into the runtime PM active state with only the "iis" bus clock enabled, but it also sets priv->op_clk to the parent of the RCLK_SRC mux without enabling it. The runtime PM suspend callback disables both clocks, so the first runtime suspend after probe disables op_clk once more than it was enabled. On Exynos5250 Arndale both clocks resolve to the same EXYNOS_I2S_BUS gate, so this triggers the following warning during boot: WARNING: drivers/clk/clk.c:1270 at clk_core_disable+0xe4/0x23c, CPU#0: kworker/u8:3/45 i2s_bus already disabled ... Oct 26, 2026boneIO Black contains a TOCTOU race condition in the create_timedatectl_sudoers_file() function in boneio/webui/routes/timezone_sudoers.py.CVE-2026-77059 · Other software · boneIO · reported by cvd@cert.plHigh 8.8
boneIO Black contains a TOCTOU race condition in the create_timedatectl_sudoers_file() function in boneio/webui/routes/timezone_sudoers.py. The function writes sudoers rules to a predictable temporary file, validates them, then installs them with root privileges. A local attacker can exploit the race window between validation and installation to substitute malicious content, or use the predictable filename for symlink attacks, resulting in arbitrary sudoers rule injection and local privilege escalation to root. This issue was fixed in version 1.6.0.

Oct 25, 2026Starman versions before 0.4019 for Perl allow a stalled request body to hold a worker indefinitely, as read_timeout covers only the headers.CVE-2026-115817 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441e
Starman versions before 0.4019 for Perl allow a stalled request body to hold a worker indefinitely, as read_timeout covers only the headers. Content-Length and chunked request bodies are read with blocking reads and no deadline. A client that sends complete headers and then stalls or trickles the body keeps the worker waiting until it disconnects. A remote attacker can take every worker with a few such connections, five with the default worker count, so the server stops answering requests. Version 0.4019 applies read_timeout to each wait for body data and adds a body_timeout limit, 300 seconds by default, on the total time to read a body.

Oct 23, 2026Wasmtime is a runtime for WebAssembly.CVE-2026-115893 · Other software · bytecodealliance · reported by GitHubCritical 9.9
Wasmtime is a runtime for WebAssembly. Prior to 36.0.19, 48.0.7, and 49.0.4, the Cranelift compiler backend on aarch64 can compile a Wasm br_table instruction with more than approximately 256,000 targets so that it has an incorrect conditional branch target. The branch can then jump to arbitrary other code at a user-controlled offset, allowing a user-controlled Wasm module to escape the sandbox on aarch64 engines using the default Cranelift backend. This issue is fixed in versions 36.0.19, 48.0.7, and 49.0.4.

Oct 23, 2026Wasmtime is a runtime for WebAssembly.CVE-2026-115892 · Other software · bytecodealliance · reported by GitHubMedium 5.7
Wasmtime is a runtime for WebAssembly. From 46.0.0 until 48.0.7 and 49.0.4, lowering a host-created component-model stream or future into a guest can omit a required payload-type check after the value passes through guest code and returns through StreamAny, FutureAny, Val::Stream, Val::Future, or an equivalent typed reader. A malicious guest that controls exported function types or returned values can cause the host to pass the type-erased value to a guest expecting a different payload type, which panics the Wasmtime host. This issue is fixed in versions 48.0.7 and 49.0.4.

Wasmtime is a runtime for WebAssembly. Prior to 36.0.19 and 43.0.0, the Cranelift compiler backend bit-packs SSA value indices in a way that can silently overflow in release builds when compiling a sufficiently large or specially crafted Wasm function with many SSA values. The overflow can make Cranelift reference incorrect IR values, causing arbitrary miscompilation, type confusion, and other attacker-controlled effects that may escape the Wasm sandbox on any architecture using the default Cranelift backend. Oct 23, 2026Tokio is a runtime for writing applications with Rust.CVE-2026-115567 · Other software · tokio-rs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8
Tokio is a runtime for writing applications with Rust. In 1.54.0, a race condition between tokio::time::Interval::poll_tick (including .tick().await) and the multi-threaded runtime's time driver could drop an internal timer entry without synchronizing with the driver thread that was firing it. The race caused a use-after-free on the timer's waker and task state in safe Rust, which could produce assertion panics, task reference-count corruption, or heap memory corruption. This issue is fixed in 1.54.1.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: xilinx: fix runtime PM leak on request error path pm_runtime_get_sync() leaves the usage counter incremented even when it fails, and xgpio_request() returns the error without dropping it. gpiolib does not call ->free() when ->request() fails, so xgpio_free(), which holds the only matching pm_runtime_put(), never runs. The reference is leaked and the controller can no longer runtime-suspend, so its clock stays enabled. Switch to pm_runtime_resume_and_get(), which only increments the usage counter on success.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: mtk-sd: Cancel request timeout work on remove The driver queues req_timeout while a request is active. msdc_request_done() uses cancel_delayed_work(), which does not wait for a timeout callback that has already started. The timeout callback calls mmc_request_done(), which wakes the request waiter, and then continues to use host->dev_comp and check the SDIO IRQ. During unbind, msdc_drv_remove() can return and the managed mmc_host can be freed before the callback finishes. KASAN reported use-after-free accesses in msdc_request_done() and msdc_recheck_sdio_irq() in each of three unbind tests. The same tests completed without a kernel diagnostic after this change. Call cancel_delayed_work_sync() after mmc_remove_host() has stopped new requests and before the driver releases the host resources.

The probe failure path disables runtime PM before disabling the clocks, but the normal remove path directly disables clocks that are also managed by the runtime PM callbacks. If the device is runtime suspended, those clocks may already be disabled. Resume the device before removal, disable runtime PM and drop the temporary runtime PM reference before disabling the clocks. Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: protect clcsock lifetime in smc_getname smc_getname() dereferences smc->clcsock wCVE-2026-99032 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: protect clcsock lifetime in smc_getname smc_getname() dereferences smc->clcsock without holding clcsock_release_lock. Link-group termination can release the CLC socket through smc_close_active_abort() while the SMC socket is still open, for example after shutdown(SHUT_WR). A getsockname() caller can load smc->clcsock, then the termination worker can clear the pointer and call sock_release() before the caller accesses clcsock->ops or invokes getname(). This causes a use-after-free; if the worker clears the pointer before the load, it causes a NULL dereference. The syscall's file reference keeps the SMC socket alive but does not prevent asynchronous release of its CLC socket. KASAN reported the following with test-only timing instrumentation: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in smc_getname+0x19e/0x1b0 Read of size 8 at addr ffff888109abb4e0 by task poc/103 Call Trace: smc_getname+0x19e/0x1b0 do_getsockname+0xe5/0x170 __sys_getsockname+0x8c/0x100 Allocated by task 95: sock_alloc_inode+0x1e/0x280 sock_alloc+0x3d/0x240 __sock_create+0x7e/0x430 smc_create+0x121/0x240 Freed by

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_sync: Fix command skb lifetime during scan setup During PA sync scan setup, hci_le_set_ext_scan_param_sync() gets the address used for the PA_LINK lookup from hci_sent_cmd_data(). The returned pointer borrows storage from sent_cmd or req_skb, without holding a reference to either skb. The scan worker runs on req_workqueue while hci_cmd_work() runs on the separate device workqueue. After the scan worker loads sent_cmd, the command worker can free and replace it before hci_sent_cmd_data() dereferences the skb. The command payload can also be freed between returning from the helper and comparing the address. The connection lookup's RCU critical section does not protect the command skb. Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vc4: Disable the V3D interrupt across runtime suspend vc4_irq_disable() masks the V3D CVE-2026-98946 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vc4: Disable the V3D interrupt across runtime suspend vc4_irq_disable() masks the V3D interrupt sources and then calls synchronize_irq() before the V3D is powered down. However, by itself, this is not enough to quiesce the interrupt handler. synchronize_irq() waits for handlers that have already set IRQD_IRQ_INPROGRESS, and for irqchips reporting IRQCHIP_STATE_ACTIVE. A GIC interrupt chip is able to mark an interrupt active as soon as a CPU acknowledges it, so there these checks cover the whole dispatch path. On RPi 0-3, however, the interrupt controller is ARMCTRL, which has no active state. A CPU that has read the hwirq out of the pending register but has not yet reached handle_level_irq() stays invisible to synchronize_irq(). During a power transition, vc4_irq() may therefore run after the power domain is off, where every V3D register read will return 0xdeadbeef. 0xdeadbeef has FLDONE, FRDONE and OUTOMEM set. This problem doesn't trigger NULL pointer dereference issues only because the functions vc4_irq_finish_bin_job() and vc4_irq_finish_render_job() return early when there is no job pointer, but OUTOME

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mailbox: imx: Use devm_pm_runtime_enable() sashiko complained about early usage of the device while probe isn't completed. This can be mitigated by delaying the pm_runtime_enable() into the removal path instead doing it early. This ensures that in an error case the device is removed (and imx_mu_shutdown()) before pm_runtime_disable() so we don't have to do this manually. For the order to work, lets move devm_mbox_controller_register() until after the pm-runtime part. So the reverse order will be mbox-controller removal followed by disabling pm runtime. Use devm_pm_runtime_enable(), remove manual pm_runtime_disable() invocations and move the pm_runtime handling in probe before devm_mbox_controller_register().

Oct 22, 2026ast-cli downloads two helper binaries, the Vorpal ASCA real-time engine and the SCA Resolver, from "download.checkmarx.com" as part of its auto-update flow, triCVE-2026-77157 · Other software · Checkmarx · reported by 596c5446-0ce5-4ba2-aa66-48b3b757a647Medium 6.3
ast-cli downloads two helper binaries, the Vorpal ASCA real-time engine and the SCA Resolver, from "download.checkmarx.com" as part of its auto-update flow, triggered by the Checkmarx’s "VSCode/JetBrains" extensions and by cx scan "sca-realtime". Prior to the fix, the downloaded archive was not verified against a checksum before extraction and execution. An attacker able to substitute the served archive could deliver an arbitrary binary that ast-cli would extract and execute the contents of the archive, since no integrity check was performed on the download. Successful exploitation requires compromising "download.checkmarx.com" and replacing the served archive with one containing an attacker-controlled binary. If the served archive had been replaced that way, any developer machine or CI pipeline invoking ASCA (via Checkmarx's VSCode/JetBrains extensions) or cx scan "sca-realtime" on an affected version would have extracted and executed that binary in place of the intended download. The download is now verified against a published SHA-256 checksum before extraction.

Incomplete validation of extracted archive entry paths in ast-cli's tar extraction logic on Linux and macOS (used when installing the Vorpal ASCA real-time engine and the SCA Resolver) would allow a malicious tar archive containing absolute or traversal path entries to write files outside the install directory. Windows builds were not affected, as the Windows extractor performs this path validation. Exploitation required substituting the archive served at "download.checkmarx.com". An attacker able to compromise that server and replace the archive could write arbitrary, executable files to arbitrary filesystem paths via this path traversal. Extraction now validates that each entry's destination path resolves within the working directory and rejects absolute paths.

Supabase Realtime provides Broadcast, Presence, and Postgres Changes via WebSockets. Prior to version 2.103.1, the REST broadcast endpoints accept an expired JWT when the exp claim is encoded as a JSON string instead of a JSON number. The same route rejects an expired integer exp token signed with the same tenant secret. The accepted request returns 202 and emits the broadcast to subscribers. This could allow an unauthenticated attacker can broadcast realtime messages to subscribers. The attack can be performed via the Internet/only from within the supabase project. The impact of broadcasting messages to subscribers is application specific. This issue has been patched in version 2.103.1.

Oct 21, 2026The Broadcom AFBR-S50 time-of-flight sensor driver double-completes an RTIO submission when sensor data evaluation fails.CVE-2026-78116 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.2
The Broadcom AFBR-S50 time-of-flight sensor driver double-completes an RTIO submission when sensor data evaluation fails. In data_ready_work_handler() (drivers/sensor/broadcom/afbr_s50/afbr_s50.c), a non-STATUS_OK return from Argus_EvaluateData() calls handle_error_on_result(), which finalises the request with rtio_iodev_sqe_err(), but execution then fell through to the tail of the function and finalised the very same struct rtio_iodev_sqe a second time with rtio_iodev_sqe_ok(). Unlike the other error branches in the same function, this one did not return. Both completion helpers reach rtio_executor_done() in subsys/rtio/rtio_executor.c, which returns the submission to the pool via rtio_sqe_pool_free() and, for streaming (multishot) submissions, also releases the RX buffer with rtio_release_buffer(). The second completion therefore reads a freed rtio_iodev_sqe, pushes the same mpsc node onto the submission queue while it is already on the pool free list — splicing the two lists together — and re-submits the freed request so the next measurement is written through an already-released buffer. For one-shot submissions it emits a spurious success completion carrying stale userdata and
