Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: account classifier filter allocations to memcg Allocations in the tc classifierCVE-2026-90099 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: account classifier filter allocations to memcg Allocations in the tc classifier *_change() paths (filter objects, per-CPU counters, and per-filter aux data) use plain GFP_KERNEL without __GFP_ACCOUNT, allowing unprivileged users to pin kernel memory outside memcg charging. The shared tcf_exts_init_ex() action array allocation in cls_api.c was also uncharged; this patch closes it along with the per-classifier filter-object/percpu/aux allocations that remain unaccounted. Add GFP_KERNEL_ACCOUNT to: - the shared tcf_exts_init_ex() action array (cls_api.c), common to every filter of every classifier (32 pointers, 256 bytes); - the filter-object, per-CPU-counter, and per-filter aux allocations in cls_basic, cls_bpf, cls_cgroup, cls_flow, cls_flower, cls_fw, cls_matchall, cls_route and cls_u32; - the u32_init_knode() replace-path knode allocation (cls_u32.c), which allocates the same struct tc_u_knode + sel.keys on every replace of an existing knode and was missed by the create-path-only conversion. Also fix the cls_basic error path: basic_change() inserts fnew into the IDR before allocating the p

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: sch_htb: limit htb_classify inner-class filter hops htb_classify() follows each filter-selected inner class by switching to cl->filter_list, but never bounds the number of hops. A filter on an inner class can point back to itself or to another inner class that points back, creating an infinite loop in the packet classification path with the qdisc lock held and BH disabled — a soft lockup / panic from a single packet. Bound the traversal with a hop counter and drop the packet with a rate-limited warning once the bound is exceeded. The counter is incremented at the point the inner filter chain is picked up, after the TC_ACT_* switch has consumed the classifier verdict, so a terminal TC_ACT_QUEUED/STOLEN/TRAP on the last permitted chain still sets *qerr to __NET_XMIT_STOLEN and the packet is not charged as a drop by this qdisc or its parent. The bound is TC_HTB_MAXDEPTH, taken from HTB's own parameters rather than from the qdisc hierarchy depth limit. Class levels run from 0 to TC_HTB_MAXDEPTH - 1, so a traversal that strictly descends in level can take at most TC_HTB_MAXDEPTH hops. That descent is what

Sep 4, 2026sift (sift.js) 17.1.3 enumerates query keys with for...in, which walks the object prototype chain, and dispatches any matched operator key including $where.CVE-2026-85625 · Other software · crcn · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2
sift (sift.js) 17.1.3 enumerates query keys with for...in, which walks the object prototype chain, and dispatches any matched operator key including $where. The $where operation compiles a string value into a function using new Function unless CSP_ENABLED is set (not set by default). As a result, if a prototype-pollution primitive elsewhere in the process sets Object.prototype.$where to a malicious string, even benign filter calls such as sift({}) execute arbitrary JavaScript. Additionally, passing an untrusted query object containing a string $where directly to sift results in code execution under the default configuration.

OpenAI Codex CLI for Windows, macOS, and Linux and Codex Desktop for Windows and macOS misclassified certain PowerShell commands as safe because their command-safety parser interpreted PowerShell's stop-parsing token (--%) differently than PowerShell itself. If a user opens an attacker-prepared repository and Codex follows its instructions, Codex can run a file-writing Git command without requesting user approval. On macOS and Linux, exploitation additionally requires separately installed PowerShell Core (pwsh) to be invoked. If filesystem protections permit the write, the command can modify Codex's configuration. If Codex later loads the modified configuration, it can launch an attacker-controlled MCP server and execute code with the user's privileges, allowing it to read, change, or delete files accessible to that account. The approval bypass does not disable filesystem sandboxing; the default filesystem sandbox on macOS and Linux can prevent writes outside permitted locations.

Aug 26, 2026Classified Listing - Mobile Number Verification: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-15985 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The Classified Listing - Mobile Number Verification plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.0. This is due to missing server-side Firebase OTP validation in the process_otp_login() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to authenticate as any user with a phone number registered in the plugin's phone table by submitting an arbitrary OTP code and UID through the Firebase OTP login flow. Successful exploitation requires OTP login to be enabled with Firebase selected as the verification gateway, and requires the attacker to know or guess the target account's registered phone number. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_api: Always acquire rtnl_lock when destroying locked classifiers Another challenge with unlocked filters. There is a short window in tc_new_tfilter where a tcf_proto can be found and briefly referenced by a totally unrelated, unlocked classifier's request and cause a race. Feng created a poc which created this race with two threads, one creating a u32 filter and other a flower filter in the same chain/prio: 1. Both threads enter tc_new_tfilter, both find the chain empty, both drop filter_chain_lock 2. u32 finishes tcf_proto_create("u32") first, calls tcf_chain_tp_insert_unique() -> inserts u32_tp into the chain 3. flower finishes tcf_proto_create("flower") later, calls tcf_chain_tp_insert_unique() -> tcf_chain_tp_find() now sees u32_tp already there, takes a reference on it, destroys flower's own tp_new and returns u32_tp to the caller. Flower then hits the kind mismatch check (because it requested for kind "flower" but tp->ops->kind is "u32") and goes through the errout path which calls tcf_proto_put() on u32_tp. If the u32 thread has already gone through its own errout (its chan

Aug 21, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_route: fix fastmap use-after-free on filter The route4 classifier maintainsCVE-2026-74583 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_route: fix fastmap use-after-free on filter The route4 classifier maintains a 16-slot fastmap cache that stores raw struct route4_filter pointers indexed by (id, iif). The reader (route4_classify) populates this cache via route4_set_fastmap() for every classified packet that hits a filter. The writer (route4_delete, route4_change) clears the cache via route4_reset_fastmap() before RCU-deferred kfree of the filter. This creates a UAF race: 1. Reader walks the RCU-protected bucket chain, finds filter f 2. Writer unlinks f, calls route4_reset_fastmap(), then tcf_queue_work() 3. Reader calls route4_set_fastmap() and writes f into the cache *after* the writer's reset, caching a pointer about to be freed 4. After the RCU grace period, kfree(f) executes 5. Next classified packet on the same (id, iif) tuple hits the stale fastmap entry and reads f->res from freed memory Reproduced with an mdelay(100) accelerator in route4_set_fastmap() and a concurrent add/delete stress test (provided by both zdi and Santosh). Both triggered KASAN slab-use-after-free reports in the route4 fastmap paths. Fix

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_flow: Dont expose folded kernel pointers The flow classifier falls back to addr_fold() for fields that are missing from packet headers. In map mode, userspace controls mask, xor, rshift, addend and divisor, and can observe the resulting classid through class statistics. This allows a tc classifier in a user/network namespace to recover the 32-bit folded value of skb->sk, skb_dst() or skb_nfct(). Align with standard kernel practices for pointer hashing and replace the XOR folding with a keyed siphash (which is cryptographically secure)

The GeoDirectory – WP Business Directory Plugin and Classified Listings Directory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the delete_revision function in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.169. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). By placing post_type=attachment exclusively in the query string to bypass the consistency check, an attacker can convert an auto-draft GeoDirectory listing into a WordPress attachment with attacker-controlled file paths injected into attachment metadata, which the delete_revision handler then dereferences and unlinks without any post-type or path validation.

Versions 6.0.1, 5.5.4, 5.4.4, 5.3.5, and possibly prior contain an out-of-bounds write in jpeg_parse_dqt_marker() in components/esp_driver_jpeg/jpeg_parse_marker.c because the attacker-controlled DQT marker Tq nibble is used as an index into the qt_tbl array without validating that it is in the range 0..3, allowing malformed JPEG input to corrupt stack memory and reliably trigger a denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 6.0.2 and is expected to be fixed in versions 5.5.5, 5.4.5, and 5.3.6.

Jul 1, 2026Motors – Car Dealership & Classified Listings: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-12435 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Motors – Car Dealership & Classified Listings Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.111. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to mark or unmark any other user's car listing as sold by replaying a valid nonce harvested from their own listing against an arbitrary victim post ID, triggering a site-wide 'Sold' badge on the victim's listing and silently stripping its special_car featured post meta as a side effect. Exploitation requires the attacker to hold an active listing of their own (obtainable by a Subscriber via the plugin's add-listing form) in order to harvest a valid nonce for the 'stm_mark_as_sold_car' action, which can then be replayed against any other listing's post ID.

Jun 19, 2026Classified Listing – Classified ads & Business Directory: Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-10779 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Classified Listing – Classified ads & Business Directory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 5.4.2. This is due to a missing capability/ownership check on the gallery_image_update_as_feature AJAX handler (action: rtcl_fb_gallery_image_update_as_feature), which accepts a user-supplied listing ID and attachment ID and sets the featured image of a listing while only validating a nonce that is exposed to any logged-in user on the frontend listing-submission form. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to change the featured image of arbitrary listings they do not own.

Jun 17, 2026Impact: Undici's cache interceptor incorrectly classifies some responses as cacheable when the upstream Cache-Control header uses whitespace-padded qualified prCVE-2026-9678 · Other software · undici · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbMedium 5.9
Impact: Undici's cache interceptor incorrectly classifies some responses as cacheable when the upstream Cache-Control header uses whitespace-padded qualified private or no-cache field names such as private=" authorization" or no-cache="\tauthorization". The parser preserves the surrounding whitespace, so later comparisons against the literal authorization field name fail and the response is stored. In shared-cache mode, this allows a response containing one user's authenticated data to be served from cache to a subsequent caller, including an unauthenticated caller, when both requests resolve to the same cache key. Affected applications are those that explicitly enable the cache interceptor (interceptors.cache()) in shared mode, forward Authorization headers upstream, and receive cacheable responses with non-canonical qualified private or no-cache directives. Patches: Upgrade to undici v7.28.0 or v8.5.0. Workarounds: If upgrade is not immediately possible, disable shared-cache mode for traffic that includes Authorization headers, avoid caching responses to authenticated requests, or add Vary: Authorization upstream.

Jun 9, 2026ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework.CVE-2026-45542 · Other software · espressif · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework. In versions 5.2.6, 5.3.5, 5.4.4, 5.5.4, and 6.0, a heap buffer overflow exists in the Security Scheme 2 (SRP6a) session-setup path of the protocomm component. The first-phase handler (handle_session_command0() in components/protocomm/src/security/security2.c) trusts the length of a client-supplied protobuf field for the SRP6a username and copies it into a buffer whose size is derived from a narrower destination type. The resulting truncation-versus-copy asymmetry corrupts the heap when an oversized value is supplied. This issue has been patched in versions 5.2.7, 5.3.6, 5.4.5, 5.5.5, and 6.0.1.

ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework. In versions 5.2.6, 5.3.5, 5.4.4, 5.5.4, and 6.0, a NULL-pointer dereference exists in the WebSocket subprotocol-negotiation path of the esp_http_server component. While parsing the client-supplied Sec-WebSocket-Protocol request header during the WebSocket handshake, the tokenisation result is dereferenced without a NULL check, so a malformed header value can crash the server before any application-level authentication runs. This issue has been patched in versions 5.2.7, 5.3.6, 5.4.5, 5.5.5, and 6.0.1.

Jun 9, 2026ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework.CVE-2026-45329 · Other software · espressif · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework. In versions 5.5.4 and 6.0, several ESP-TEE secure-service wrappers in esp_secure_services.c and esp_secure_services_iram.c validated only some of the caller-supplied pointer arguments, leaving input pointer arguments unchecked. Because the underlying TEE-protected hardware peripherals (e.g., ECC, SHA, SPI) run in RISC-V machine mode (M-mode) with full address-space access, a caller could supply pointers into TEE-exclusive memory as inputs, causing the peripheral to read TEE memory and return results derived from it to the REE. Depending on the wrapper, the result contains raw bytes from TEE memory, a computed function of TEE memory recoverable through repeated calls, or a single bit per call that forms an oracle for incremental disclosure of TEE-resident sensitive data. This issue has been patched in versions 5.5.5 and 6.0.1.

ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework. In versions 5.5.4 and 6.0, the esp_tee component exposes secure-service wrappers in esp_secure_services.c and esp_secure_services_iram.c that bridge calls from the user application (i.e. the REE) to TEE-protected hardware peripherals (AES, SHA, ECC, HMAC, SPI, MMU, WDT) and to the security feature like attestation, OTA updates, secure storage. ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework. In versions 5.2.7, 5.3.5, 5.4.4, 5.5.4, and 6.0.1, an out-of-bounds read flaw exists in the DHCP server option parser (parse_options() in components/lwip/apps/dhcpserver/dhcpserver.c) shipped with ESP-IDF's lwIP component. The parser walks the BOOTP/DHCP options field without validating that each option's length byte and declared payload length stay within the received packet buffer. A crafted DHCP request can cause the parser to read past the end of the options buffer into adjacent heap memory. The issue affects the DHCP server used by ESP-IDF's SoftAP and any configuration where the device runs as a DHCP server on a local network. This issue has been patched in versions 5.2.8, 5.3.6, 5.4.5, 5.5.5, and 6.0.2.
