  • Aug 18, 2026Valkey is a distributed key-value database.CVE-2026-56684 · Other software · valkey-io · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Valkey is a distributed key-value database. Prior to 7.2.14, 8.0.10, 8.1.9, 9.0.5, and 9.1.1, Valkey's tlsProcessPendingData function iterates pending_list while an authenticated client can trigger CLIENT KILL, causing connTLSClose to delete the iterator's cached next node and producing a use-after-free that can crash the server or potentially allow remote code execution when TLS is enabled. This issue is fixed in versions 7.2.14, 8.0.10, 8.1.9, 9.0.5, and 9.1.1.

INDI (Instrument Neutral Distributed Interface) indiserver through 2.2.4.2, fixed in commit 96bbd7f, contains a stack buffer overflow vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to crash the daemon by sending malformed XML with mismatched tags whose names exceed 1024 bytes. Attackers can send a single TCP packet on port 7624 with mismatched XML tags to trigger an unbounded sprintf() write into a fixed 1024-byte stack buffer in MsgQueue.cpp, terminating the daemon and disrupting all active client and driver sessions.

  • Aug 14, 2026CrateDB is a distributed SQL database.CVE-2026-49989 · Other software · crate · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

CrateDB is a distributed SQL database. Prior to versions 6.2.8 and 6.3.2, any authenticated user can read or delete any blob whose SHA-1 digest they know, and can plant new blobs unconditionally, in any blob table, regardless of `GRANT`s. CrateDB has two ways to access blob storage: SQL (`SELECT ... FROM blob.<table>` and friends) and the blob HTTP API (`GET|PUT|DELETE /_blobs/{table}/{digest}`). The SQL path goes through `AccessControl`, which is what enforces privilege grants; that's why `SELECT digest FROM blob.secret_blobs` fails for a user who has no grants on the table. The HTTP path authenticates the request but never asks `AccessControl` whether the authenticated user is allowed to touch the table. So a user with no grants gets `MissingPrivilegeException` from SQL and `200 OK` plus the blob bytes from `GET /_blobs/secret_blobs/<digest>`. Deployments that don't use `BLOB TABLE` are unaffected. Authentication itself still works; the bug is strictly that being authenticated as anyone is treated as sufficient for any blob op. Versions 6.2.8 and 6.3.2 fix the issue.

  • Aug 12, 2026etcd is a distributed key-value store for the data of a distributed system.CVE-2026-73500 · Other software · etcd-io · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

etcd is a distributed key-value store for the data of a distributed system. Prior to versions 3.5.33, 3.6.14, and 3.7.1, a network attacker who can reach an etcd TLS listener can open many TCP connections and never send a ClientHello. In client/pkg/transport/listener_tls.go, each connection handled by tlsListener.acceptLoop spawns a goroutine that blocks indefinitely inside tls.Conn.Handshake() and remains tracked in the pending map. Unbounded goroutine and map growth can exhaust memory in the etcd process, causing loss of availability for the cluster and, when etcd backs Kubernetes, the control plane. This issue is fixed in versions 3.5.33, 3.6.14, and 3.7.1.

  • Aug 12, 2026etcd is a distributed key-value store for the data of a distributed system.CVE-2026-73499 · Other software · etcd-io · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

etcd is a distributed key-value store for the data of a distributed system. Prior to versions 3.5.33, 3.6.14, and 3.7.1, a user granted READ permission on a single exact key can use the Watch gRPC API with clientv3.WithFromKey() to receive watch events for every key lexicographically greater than or equal to the permitted key. In server/etcdserver/api/v3rpc/watch.go, the open-ended RangeEnd sentinel is rewritten before the RBAC permission check in server/auth/range_perm_cache.go function isRangeOpPermitted, causing the request to be treated as an exact-key watch. Range/Get and DeleteRange requests are not affected, and the issue affects only clusters with authentication enabled. This issue is fixed in versions 3.5.33, 3.6.14, and 3.7.1.

  • Aug 12, 2026RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust.CVE-2026-73290 · Other software · rustfs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. Prior to 1.0.0-beta.12, an anonymous ListObjectVersions request in rustfs/src/storage/access.rs that lacks a direct bucket-policy grant falls back to an s3:ListBucket check and returns before the policy_allowed path applies deny_anonymous_table_data_plane_if_needed and RestrictPublicBuckets, so a bucket that permits anonymous listing can continue exposing version listings after an operator enables the public-access control. The bypass affects GET /<bucket>?versions= and can disclose object version metadata even though equivalent GetObject requests are denied. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0-beta.12.

  • Aug 12, 2026RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust.CVE-2026-73289 · Other software · rustfs · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. Prior to 1.0.0-beta.12, RustFS evaluates the ForAllValues: and ForAnyValue: set qualifiers with the negated string operators StringNotEquals, StringNotEqualsIgnoreCase, StringNotLike, ArnNotEquals, and ArnNotLike using each other's semantics because crates/policy/src/policy/function/string.rs negates the aggregate result after eval or eval_like instead of negating each request-value predicate before quantification. Partially overlapping policy and request value sets can therefore make an Allow condition grant access to an excluded principal or make a Deny guardrail fail, including policies based on jwt:groups and jwt:roles; absent keys also receive the opposite ForAllValues: and ForAnyValue: behavior. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0-beta.12.

  • Aug 11, 2026SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system.CVE-2026-73080 · Other software · seaweedfs · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system. Prior to 4.24, VolumeServer.FetchAndWriteNeedle in weed/server/volume_grpc_remote.go fetches a caller-supplied remote endpoint through weed/remote_storage/s3/s3_storage_client.go and writes the response into a needle. The RPC performs no authentication and no target validation, allowing anyone who can reach a volume server's gRPC port to cause requests to arbitrary hosts, including loopback, link-local, RFC 1918, and cloud metadata endpoints such as 169.254.169.254, and read the response. On cloud deployments, this can disclose instance metadata and IAM credentials and reach otherwise unexposed internal services. The volume server gRPC plane is unauthenticated by default, and configuring documented JWT signing keys does not protect this RPC. This issue is fixed in version 4.24.

  • Jul 16, 2026Jupyter Enterprise Gateway launches remote Jupyter Notebook kernels across distributed clusters like Apache Spark, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm.CVE-2026-44182 · Other software · jupyter-server · reported by GitHubCritical 10

Jupyter Enterprise Gateway launches remote Jupyter Notebook kernels across distributed clusters like Apache Spark, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm. In versions prior to 3.3.0, the server interpolates untrusted environment variables (e.g., KERNEL_XXX) into Kubernetes manifests without YAML-aware escaping, enabling YAML injection attacks. Attackers can inject new fields, overwrite critical fields (e.g., duplicate securityContext keys, where the last one prevails), and inject document boundaries (--- for new documents, ... for end-of-document) to generate multiple resources, potentially creating arbitrary types, such as privileged pods. The Jinja2 template for the Kubernetes manifest contains several kernel_xxx variables, such as kernel_working_dir that are used when rendering the manifest and are all vectors for YAML injection. This issue has been fixed in version 3.3.0.

Jupyter Enterprise Gateway launches remote Jupyter Notebook kernels across distributed clusters like Apache Spark, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm. In versions 2.0.0rc2 and above, prior to 3.3.0, the environment variables (KERNEL_XXX) used during the rendering of the Kubernetes manifest are vulnerable to Server Side Template Injection (SSTI). By including Jinja2 template expressions it is possible to execution Python code and OS Commands in the Enterprise Gateway service. The code can use or steal the Kubernetes service account token, which can steal Kubernetes secrets and be used to fully compromise the Kubernetes cluster by scheduling a privileged pod or a pod with a hostPath volume mount. • Jul 16, 2026Jupyter Enterprise Gateway launches remote Jupyter Notebook kernels across distributed clusters like Apache Spark, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm.CVE-2026-44180 · Other software · jupyter-server · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8

Jupyter Enterprise Gateway launches remote Jupyter Notebook kernels across distributed clusters like Apache Spark, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm. Versions 2.0.0rc1 and above prior to 3.3.0 have a prohibited UID and GID feature that by default prevents launching kernels with UID or GID 0 (root), and this restriction can be bypassed using a specially crafted KERNEL_UID or KERNEL_GID value. This input validation vulnerability allows running Jupyter kernels as root, which can be dangerous as it allows more attack surface, and may lead to container escapes, compromising the worker node and all workloads running on it. Repeated exploitation can compromise all worker nodes, and thus the entire Kubernetes cluster. It is possible to specify volume mounts, so one vector for a container escape is to use a hostPath R/W volume mount, use this UID/GID bypass to run as root, and then gain code execution in the underlying worker node by creating a crontab entry in the mounted host file system. This issue has been fixed in version 3.0.0.

  • Jun 26, 2026RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust.CVE-2026-55838 · Other software · rustfs · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3

RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. In 1.0.0-beta.7 and earlier, the real-time metrics endpoint at /rustfs/admin/v3/metrics is accessible to any valid IAM user regardless of their assigned policy. Every other admin handler in the codebase calls validate_admin_request to enforce admin-action IAM checks; the MetricsHandler skips this call entirely. A restricted IAM user whose policy grants only access to their own bucket can read server-wide operational metrics including disk I/O statistics, network throughput, scanner cycle timing, and cluster RPC state.

RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. From 1.0.0-alpha.1 until 1.0.0-beta.9, when the FTP frontend is enabled, the FTP read and probe handlers dispatch directly to the storage backend without ever calling the IAM authorization function that the FTP write/list handlers (and the entire HTTP S3 path) use. As a result, any user who can authenticate to the FTP listener — including a user whose IAM policy contains an explicit Deny on s3:GetObject — can read (RETR) and stat (SIZE/MDTM) any object in any bucket, and probe any bucket (CWD), completely regardless of their IAM policy. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.0-beta.9.

  • Jun 26, 2026RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust.CVE-2026-55188 · Other software · rustfs · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. From 1.0.0-alpha.1 until 1.0.0-beta.9, RustFS contains an authorization bypass in the bucket replication admin API. The ListRemoteTargetHandler handler for listing remote replication targets only checks whether request credentials exist, but does not verify that the caller has replication or administrator permissions. As a result, an authenticated user with no effective bucket or admin permissions can list remote replication target configuration for a bucket. Because the returned BucketTarget objects include remote target credentials, this can disclose replication access keys and secret keys. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.0-beta.9.

RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. In 1.0.0-beta.4, authenticated users with only PutObject permission on their own bucket can exploit a path traversal vulnerability in the Snowball auto-extract feature to write arbitrary objects into other users' buckets, completely breaking multi-tenant isolation. The vulnerability chains three flaws: No ../ sanitization in tar entry key normalization; IAM wildcard matching uses raw (uncleaned) paths; and Filesystem path cleaning resolves ../ across bucket boundaries.

  • Jun 25, 2026SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system for object storage (S3), file systems, and Iceberg tables.CVE-2026-54917 · Other software · seaweedfs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.8

SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system for object storage (S3), file systems, and Iceberg tables. Prior to 4.30, the S3 API gateway and the Iceberg REST catalog gateway construct their routers with mux.NewRouter().SkipClean(true). With path cleaning disabled, a .. segment inside the URL survives routing, so a request such as `GET /bucket-A/../evil-bucket/key`, is matched as bucket=bucket-A, object=../evil-bucket/key. The captured object key is then joined into a filer path with util.JoinPath (S3) / path.Join (Iceberg), which collapse the .. server-side, so the actual read or write lands in evil-bucket. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.30.

RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. Prior to 1.0.0-beta.2, improper validation in the PUT /rustfs/admin/v3/import-iam endpoint allows a user with ImportIAMAction to create service accounts under arbitrary parent identities, including the root user (minioadmin). The endpoint accepts attacker-controlled parent, claims, accessKey, and secretKey values without enforcing privilege boundaries or sanitization. This enables privilege escalation to full administrative access using a persistent, attacker-defined credential. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.0-beta.2.

RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. Prior to 1.0.0-beta.2, the RustFS console endpoint GET /rustfs/console/license returns parsed license metadata without requiring authentication. The endpoint is registered on the console listener and returns JSON containing license information such as the license subject and expiration timestamp. Any client that can reach the console listener can query this endpoint without credentials. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.0-beta.2.

RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. Prior to 1.0.0-beta.2, when RUSTFS_CORS_ALLOWED_ORIGINS is unset, the RustFS S3 listener's ConditionalCorsLayer reflects any request Origin value back as Access-Control-Allow-Origin and also sets Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true and Access-Control-Allow-Headers: * on responses, including preflight responses and error responses. This creates a permissive cross-domain policy with untrusted origins. A browser visiting an attacker-controlled page can issue credentialed cross-origin requests to a reachable RustFS deployment and read the response when the victim browser has ambient credentials for the RustFS origin, such as saved HTTP Basic Auth credentials, reverse-proxy SSO cookies, or TLS client certificates. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.0-beta.2.

  • May 28, 2026RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust.CVE-2026-45044 · Other software · rustfs · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. Prior to 1.0.0-beta.2, the admin router explicitly whitelists /profile/cpu and /profile/memory from the authentication layer, allowing any unauthenticated HTTP client to invoke profiling handlers without credentials. On supported builds (e.g., glibc), the handler invokes a fixed 60-second CPU profiling operation (dump_cpu_pprof_for(Duration::from_secs(60))). This may result in significant CPU resource consumption per request and can potentially lead to denial of service when abused. Additionally, the handler returns the server’s absolute filesystem path in the response body, resulting in information disclosure. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.0-beta.2.

RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. Prior to 1.0.0-beta.2, improper authorization in the UploadPartCopy operation allows copying objects across buckets without enforcing destination bucket restrictions on allowed copy sources. The implementation validates GetObject permission on the source bucket and PutObject on the destination bucket independently, but does not enforce any policy constraints on whether the destination bucket permits the specified copy source. This enables unauthorized cross-bucket data movement. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.0-beta.2.

RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. Prior to 1.0.0-beta.2, crates/appauth/src/token.rs ships a 2048-bit RSA private key as a string constant named TEST_PRIVATE_KEY and uses it in production via parse_license() to "verify" license tokens. Because the key is embedded in every published source release and binary, anyone who can read the repository or extract it from the binary can mint arbitrary license tokens (any subject, any expiration). When the license Cargo feature is enabled, this defeats the entire license-enforcement mechanism. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.0-beta.2.

RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. Prior to 1.0.0-beta.2, the internode RPC layer authenticates every request with an HMAC-SHA256 signature using a shared secret. The function that produces this secret, get_shared_secret() in crates/ecstore/src/rpc/http_auth.rs, falls back to the public, source-tree-embedded DEFAULT_SECRET_KEY = "rustfsadmin" when neither the RUSTFS_RPC_SECRET environment variable nor the global S3 secret key has been configured. luci-app-https-dns-proxy through 2025.12.29-5 — an optional LuCI web UI add-on for the https-dns-proxy package, distributed through the OpenWrt community packages feed and not installed by default — contains a command injection vulnerability in the setInitAction function. An authenticated user holding the luci.https-dns-proxy ACL permission can inject shell metacharacters through the 'name' parameter of a ubus RPC call to luci.https-dns-proxy setInitAction, resulting in arbitrary command execution as root on the underlying device. Core OpenWrt is not affected; only installations that have opted in to the luci-app-https-dns-proxy package are vulnerable.
