  • Oct 30, 2026Like Button Rating ♥ LikeBtn: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-116552 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.7

The Like Button Rating ♥ LikeBtn plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'HTTP_CLIENT_IP (Client-IP header)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.6.64 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires the site administrator to have disabled the default 'Be GDPR compliant' option, which would otherwise hash stored IP values and neutralize the payload. Successful exploitation additionally requires an action by an administrator — the attacker cannot trigger the vulnerability on their own.

    Product
    Like Button Rating ♥ LikeBtn
    Affected
    up to 2.6.64
    What to do
Affects up to 2.6.64. Update Like Button Rating ♥ LikeBtn to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 30, 2026Themify Builder: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-115869 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Themify Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'variations' repeater field of Custom Font (tb_cf) posts in versions up to, and including, 7.8.4. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the variations post meta: Themify_Metabox::_save_meta() only passes the value through wp_kses_data() when the field type is 'textbox' or 'textarea', so the 'repeater' field writes attacker-controlled sub-fields (style, woff/woff2/ttf/svg/eot URLs) to update_post_meta() verbatim, and Themify_Custom_Fonts::render_columns() later echoes those values unescaped inside a <style> block on the Custom Fonts admin listing. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page (specifically, the Custom Fonts admin listing).

    Product
    Themify Builder
    Affected
    up to 7.8.4
    What to do
Affects up to 7.8.4. Update Themify Builder to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 30, 2026Majestic Support – The Leading-Edge Help Desk & Customer Support: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-115820 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Majestic Support – The Leading-Edge Help Desk & Customer Support Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'columns (array keys)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.2 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Any authenticated WordPress user with Subscriber-level access can exploit this because the 'saveusereraserequest' task is whitelisted for front-end customer use, the plugin auto-provisions a help-desk record for every WordPress account, and the only guard is a nonce the attacker legitimately obtains from their own 'Add erase request' page.

    Product
Majestic Support – The Leading-Edge Help Desk & Customer Support

    What to do
Affects up to 1.2.2. Update Majestic Support – The Leading-Edge Help Desk & Customer Support to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 30, 2026Avada | Website Builder For WordPress & WooCommerce: Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-115346 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The Avada | Website Builder For WordPress & WooCommerce theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in versions up to, and including, 7.16.2 via the convert_palette_images_to_truecolor() function. This is due to insufficient file type validation before processing uploaded files. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible.

    Product
Avada | Website Builder For WordPress & WooCommerce
    Affected
    up to 7.16.2
    What to do
Affects up to 7.16.2. Update Avada | Website Builder For WordPress & WooCommerce to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 30, 2026easy.jobs – AI powered Job Listing, Job Board, Career Page, Recruitment & Hiring Solution: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-112365 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The easy.jobs – AI powered Job Listing, Job Board, Career Page, Recruitment & Hiring Solution plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'cover_letter' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful execution requires an administrator to open the affected candidate's Application tab and click the attacker-crafted link, at which point WHATWG URL parsing collapses the encoded scheme back to javascript: and executes the payload.

    Product

  • Oct 30, 2026FV Flowplayer Video Player: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-110533 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The FV Flowplayer Video Player plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'fv_player_videos[_fv_player_user_video][]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 7.5.55.7212 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires an administrator to have enabled the "Allow visitors to upload videos to their profile" (profile_videos_enable_bio) setting before Subscriber-level users can submit profile videos.

    Product
    FV Flowplayer Video Player

  • Oct 30, 2026Advanced Custom Fields: Extended: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-110305 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 0.9.2.7 via the process. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data including the WordPress password hash of any user by injecting a {get_user} template tag that is resolved and written as a publicly readable term name. Exploitation requires that an administrator has configured a public [acfe_form] shortcode page with a Term action using a save.name field mapping — a supported and documented configuration.

    Product
    Advanced Custom Fields: Extended
    Affected
    up to 0.9.2.7

  • Oct 30, 2026FV Flowplayer Video Player: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-110001 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The FV Flowplayer Video Player plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment (shortcode attribute 'align')' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 7.5.55.7212 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the plugin's 'Parse Vimeo and YouTube links' (parse_comments) setting to be enabled by an administrator, which causes the plugin to register do_shortcode on the comment_text filter, allowing attacker-supplied shortcode attributes stored in comments to be rendered unescaped to all subsequent visitors.

    Product
    FV Flowplayer Video Player
    Affected
    up to 7.5.55.7212
    What to do
Affects up to 7.5.55.7212. Update FV Flowplayer Video Player to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 30, 2026FV Flowplayer Video Player: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-109984 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The FV Flowplayer Video Player plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 7.5.55.7212 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the 'Parse Vimeo and YouTube links' option to be enabled and a site administrator to approve the comment containing the malicious shortcode; execution is then triggered for any visitor who interacts with the video player on that page.

  • Oct 30, 2026OpenStation: Desktop Windows, Dock & Virtual Desktops for WP Admin: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-109592 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The OpenStation: Desktop Windows, Dock & Virtual Desktops for WP Admin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.16. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to modify arbitrary other users' placement rows (position, sort order, parent folder, and meta) and read serialized metadata — including title, permalink, and post status — of the entities those orphaned placements reference. Exploitation requires at least one orphaned placement to exist — a state produced naturally by the plugin's own trash cascade, which marks a parent folder as trashed while leaving child placements' parent_id intact — and the attacker must first self-enable OpenStation via the save-openstation AJAX endpoint, which requires only the 'read' capability held by every default WordPress role. This was also independently found by the OpenStation team.

    Product
OpenStation: Desktop Windows, Dock & Virtual Desktops for WP Admin

  • Oct 30, 2026Email Templates Customizer and Designer for WordPress and WooCommerce: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-107630 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Email Templates Customizer and Designer for WordPress and WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.14 This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to enumerate WooCommerce order IDs via the preview_order parameter and exfiltrate every customer's billing name, address, phone number, and email address. The exploit requires two unauthenticated requests: the first harvests a reusable nonce from the 302 Location header returned by the unguarded admin_init handler, and the second supplies that nonce alongside an arbitrary order ID to the preview endpoint, making full customer PII disclosure trivially achievable without any account or credentials.

    Product
Email Templates Customizer and Designer for WordPress and WooCommerce

    What to do
Affects up to 1.5.14. Update Email Templates Customizer and Designer for WordPress and WooCommerce to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 30, 2026The Ak Framework plugin for WordPress, included in the Newsy - Viral News & Magazine WordPress Theme, is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up tCVE-2026-105894 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Ak Framework plugin for WordPress, included in the Newsy - Viral News & Magazine WordPress Theme, is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 2.9.8. This is due to missing capability checks in the ajax_refresh_nonce and ak_admin_ajax handlers before passing attacker-controlled option names and values to update_option(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update arbitrary WordPress options including users_can_register and default_role to escalate privileges to administrator by enabling user registration with administrator as the default role.

  • Oct 30, 2026Independent Analytics Pro: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-104744 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Independent Analytics Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'utm_campaign' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.15.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the Independent Analytics Pro build to be active, as the free build nulls campaign parameters; additionally, the attacker must first visit a frontend page to obtain a server-signed payload that can be replayed with a crafted utm_campaign value against the unauthenticated /iawp/search REST endpoint, since the signature check does not cover utm_* fields.

    Product
    Independent Analytics Pro

Affects up to 2.15.5. Update Independent Analytics Pro to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 30, 2026JS Help Desk – AI-Powered Support & Ticketing System: Arbitrary file deletionCVE-2026-104739 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.9

The JS Help Desk – AI-Powered Support & Ticketing System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the setSupportCustomImage function in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.1. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). Exploitation requires a two-step sequence: an administrator first saves a traversal-crafted value in the support_custom_img configuration field, then triggers deletion by uploading a new support custom image, at which point setSupportCustomImage() resolves and deletes the attacker-controlled path.

    Product
JS Help Desk – AI-Powered Support & Ticketing System

  • Oct 30, 2026Redux Framework: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-102918 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Redux Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.15 via the multi_media field. This is due to the field's renderer printing the stored value into an href attribute, a hidden input value and an HTML element without escaping, while every neighbouring attribute in the same method is wrapped in esc_attr(). It is compounded by Redux_Extension_Users::user_meta_save() evaluating a field's 'permissions' requirement against a user id taken from the request body ('checkuser_id') rather than the current user, so a Subscriber can write a field declared for 'manage_options'. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts into their own profile record that execute when an administrator views that user's profile in the dashboard. Requires a theme or plugin that registers a multi_media field through the Redux Users API.

    Product
    Redux Framework

    What to do
Affects up to 4.5.15. Update Redux Framework to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.

The The Ad Inserter – Ad Manager & AdSense Ads plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.19 This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes. Exploitation requires an administrator to have configured an ad block containing a dynamic tag such as {title}, {tag}, {category}, or {smart-tag} with display enabled on search pages, which is a normal and documented plugin configuration.

Attackers can exploit the verify() method's early return on empty token values to submit unlimited forms, triggering notification emails, webhooks, and unbounded writes to the submissions table without completing reCAPTCHA validation.

  • Oct 30, 2026Kirki: Broken object-level access controlCVE-2026-112347 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.2

Kirki plugin for WordPress before 6.4.1 contains a broken object-level access control vulnerability in its page REST API, where the PUT /wp-json/kirki/v1/pages/{page_id} route and the save_page_data, duplicate, and delete handlers in PageController.php rely only on a coarse role-to-access middleware check without performing a per-object WordPress capability check. A user with Kirki edit access, granted to the Editor role by default, can exploit this flaw to modify the title, slug, and publication status of any non-trashed post of any post type, including custom post types and WooCommerce products they do not own, exposing private or draft content or removing published content by manipulating the unrestricted post_status field.

  • Oct 30, 2026Gravity Forms: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-97645 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via List Field in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires the administrator to click the injected link in the entry detail view and confirm a dialog, which triggers the admin JavaScript bundle's delegated data-dialog-callback handler to invoke the attacker-supplied function reference.

  • Oct 30, 2026Gravity Forms: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-90437 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Post Excerpt / Post Custom Field / Rich-Text Paragraph Field Values in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is possible because Post Excerpt, Post Custom Field, and Rich-Text-Editor-enabled Paragraph Text fields allow raw HTML submissions via allow_html(), and an entity-encoded payload stored in a data-dialog-confirm attribute evades wp_kses_post() at save time but is decoded into executable markup by the browser when the plugin's admin JavaScript passes the attribute value to insertAdjacentHTML().

The Formidable Forms – WordPress Form Builder for Contact Forms, Calculators, Quizzes & More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Plugin Installation in all versions up to, and including, 6.35 via the 'file_url' parameter parameter. This is due to insufficient URL prefix validation in validate_url_is_in_s3_bucket() and a permission callback that relies solely on a shared token obtainable by any user with the delegable frm_view_forms capability, without checking install_plugins or activate_plugins capabilities. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to install arbitrary plugins on the server. Exploitation additionally requires that the site is free-only (Formidable Pro is NOT installed).

The AI Engine – The Chatbot, AI Framework & MCP for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.6 This is due to the MCP module's OAuth 2.1 Dynamic Client Registration endpoint (/wp-json/mcp/v1/oauth/register) being registered with a permission_callback of __return_true, allowing an unauthenticated user to register an active OAuth client with an attacker-controlled redirect URI. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to obtain an administrator-bound MCP access token, and thereby full administrator-level control through the MCP tools (including user creation and option updates), once an administrator approves the attacker's client on the OAuth consent screen. The consent page is additionally served without X-Frame-Options or Content-Security-Policy frame-ancestors, so that approval can be obtained via clickjacking.

  • Oct 30, 2026Gravity Forms: PHP Object InjectionCVE-2026-103039 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.2 via a Post Custom Field whose input type is List. This is due to GFFormsModel::create_post() passing the submitted value to WordPress' unrestricted global maybe_unserialize() rather than the plugin's own hardened GFCommon::maybe_unserialize(), which was added in 3.1.1 and passes allowed_classes => false precisely to prevent object instantiation. Where the field has a content template enabled, the submitted row reaches that call verbatim. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP object into post meta. No PHP Object Injection gadget chain is present in the plugin itself; however, if a gadget chain is present via an additional plugin or theme, it could allow the attacker to perform actions such as remote code execution. Where the custom field is mapped to the protected _wp_page_template meta key, WordPress itself supplies the chain: validate_file() accepts non-scalars, WP_Theme::__toString() then resolves an attacker-controlled path, and on hosts with a readable PEAR install and register_argc_argv enabled this yields remote code execution

The Content Egg – Affiliate Product Importer & Price Comparison plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 12.0.0 This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to create posts attributed to another user's account — typically an administrator — by supplying an admin-owned preset_id, causing wp_insert_post to record the administrator as post_author. This includes the ability to create published posts when the attacker already holds publish_posts capability for the preset's post type, resulting in administrator-attributed published content created by a lower-privileged user.

  • Oct 30, 2026Content Egg: Unauthorized modification of dataCVE-2026-119059 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Content Egg plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing per-post capability check on the ajaxUpdateProducts() function in versions up to, and including, 12.0.0. The handler verifies a static nonce ('contentegg_metabox') and the generic 'edit_posts' capability, but trusts the attacker-supplied $_POST['post_id'] verbatim and never calls current_user_can('edit_post', $post_id) — the per-object check that its sibling save_post handler saveMeta() correctly performs. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to modify Content Egg product data (_cegg_data_*) and update-timestamp post meta on arbitrary posts, including those owned by administrators.

The JoomSport – for Sports: Team & League, Football, Hockey & more plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'pgroup' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.7.14 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. A Contributor-level user can trigger the vulnerable code path by authoring a post containing the [jsMatchPlayerList] shortcode with a malicious pgroup value and previewing it, as WordPress allows shortcode execution during post preview for the post's author.

The Cool FormKit Lite – Advanced Form Builder for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the '_elementor_data.form_fields[].custom_id' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.9 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The esc_html() call applied at server emission is bypassed because the HTML fragment-serialization algorithm restores " to a raw double-quote inside text nodes when jQuery .html() extracts the template, allowing the attacker-controlled custom_id to break out of an HTML attribute context within the plugin's own frontend script.

  • Oct 30, 2026Page and Post Restriction: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-118194 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Page and Post Restriction plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.1 This is due to the `papr_restrict_page_post_rest_api()` function, hooked on `rest_pre_dispatch`, re-authenticating the current user from the `wordpress_logged_in` cookie via `wp_set_current_user()` for any GET or HEAD REST request where the current user is 0, without verifying a REST nonce — silently undoing the nonce-zeroing that WordPress core's `rest_cookie_check_errors()` performs on cookie-authenticated requests that lack an `X-WP-Nonce` header or `_wpnonce` parameter. Combined with WordPress's permissive REST CORS behavior — which echoes the request `Origin` and sets `Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true` — this allows an unauthenticated attacker to read REST API GET responses as a logged-in victim, exposing role-restricted and private post/page content, victim user profile data via `/wp-json/wp/v2/users/me`, and comments the victim is authorized to see. This requires the attacker to lure a logged-in user into visiting an attacker-controlled page that issues credentialed cross-origin `fetch` requests against the target site's REST API; no non
