  • Oct 9, 2026OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library.CVE-2026-107834 · Other software · corazawaf · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library. From 3.0.0 until 3.8.0, the multipart loop in internal/bodyprocessors/multipart.go executes defer temp.Close() for every uploaded file part, so each temporary-file descriptor remains open until the complete request returns. An unauthenticated attacker can submit a multipart body containing many minimal file parts and exhaust the process file-descriptor table within the request-body size limit, causing os.CreateTemp failures, MULTIPART_STRICT_ERROR responses, blocked legitimate uploads, and process-wide inability to open files or sockets. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.0.

  • Oct 9, 2026OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library.CVE-2026-107833 · Other software · corazawaf · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library. From 3.0.0 until 3.8.0, ProcessResponse in internal/bodyprocessors/json.go passes the ignoreJSONRecursionLimit value of -1 to readJSON, while the recursive guard only stops at zero. A network attacker who can cause an application protected by Coraza to return deeply nested JSON can make response-body processing perform quadratic work, consuming one CPU core for seconds per response within the default ResponseBodyLimit. Request JSON processing is not affected by this specific path because it uses the configured request recursion limit, and exploitation requires response-body inspection to be enabled. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.0.

  • Oct 9, 2026OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library.CVE-2026-107826 · Other software · corazawaf · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library. From 3.0.0 until 3.8.1, readJSON in internal/bodyprocessors/json.go can stop its bounded flattening walk after reaching SecArgumentsLimit or the byte budget and then call gjson.Valid on the complete raw body. An unauthenticated attacker can submit shallow values followed by an extremely deeply nested JSON tail that was not visited by the bounded walk, causing gjson.Valid to recurse without a depth bound and terminate the hosting process with an unrecoverable fatal stack overflow. The ProcessRequest and ProcessResponse JSON paths share the affected readJSON validation flow, and the payload can remain within recommended body-size and argument-count limits. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.1.

OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library. From 3.0.0 until 3.8.0, ProcessURI in internal/corazawaf/transaction.go handles a url.ParseRequestURI failure by retaining the raw URI but leaving QUERY_STRING, ARGS_GET, ARGS_GET_NAMES, and the GET-derived portion of ARGS empty. An unauthenticated attacker can place control bytes in a URI passed directly by integrations such as coraza-spoa, coraza-proxy-wasm, custom FFI hosts, or WASM hosts, causing Coraza to omit query parameters that the downstream integration may still process and allowing rules targeting those variables to be bypassed. The bundled coraza/v3/http integration is not affected because Go net/http rejects such malformed request targets before calling Coraza. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.0.

  • Oct 8, 2026JHipster is a development platform to quickly generate, develop, and deploy modern web applications and microservice architectures.CVE-2026-107375 · Other software · jhipster · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

JHipster is a development platform to quickly generate, develop, and deploy modern web applications and microservice architectures. From 7.0.0 until 9.4.0, reactive applications generated with Spring WebFlux, Spring Data R2DBC, and a SQL database pass the attacker-controlled sort request parameter from paginated entity-list endpoints into createOrderByFields in generators/spring-boot/generators/data-relational/templates/src/main/java/package/repository/EntityManager_reactive.java.ejs. The generated code renders these properties into the SQL ORDER BY clause without validation or quoting, and the R2DBC simple query protocol can execute additional statements separated by semicolons. A normal authenticated user can consequently read sensitive tables, modify or delete data, or drop tables, while non-reactive JPA applications and NoSQL backends are outside this root cause. This issue is fixed in 9.4.0.

JHipster is a development platform to quickly generate, develop, and deploy modern web applications and microservice architectures. Prior to generator-jhipster 9.4.0 and react-jhipster 1.1.0, generated applications can persist attacker-controlled Blob data and companion ContentType values, return them through generated REST endpoints, and pass them to the generated openFile helper in generators/client/generators/common/templates/src/main/webapp/app/shared/jhipster/data-utils.ts.ejs. The helper uses the returned ContentType as the browser Blob MIME type and opens an object URL, so a normal authenticated user with write access to a Blob-bearing entity can store active HTML or SVG content that may execute under the application origin when a privileged user opens it. Exploitability depends on the generated application's content security policy and target-browser Blob behavior. This issue is fixed in generator-jhipster 9.4.0 and react-jhipster 1.1.0.

Camunda 7.24.0 before 7.24.15 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability in the Admin web application's first-run setup endpoint, where SetupResource incorrectly determines setup availability by counting only direct members of the camunda-admin group rather than recognizing all configured administrators. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this logic flaw to call the setup user-create endpoint and create a new administrator account when the camunda-admin group is empty but the system is fully administered, resulting in account takeover and potential process deployment or script execution as the engine's service user.

  • Oct 2, 2026Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications.CVE-2026-94544 · Other software · vercel · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. From 16.3.0 until 16.3.8, pending use cache fills for the same key are shared without separating Draft Mode requests from regular requests. An overlapping regular request can receive unauthenticated unpublished content from an editor's Draft Mode fill, while an overlapping Draft Mode request can receive published content from a regular fill. When the regular request prerenders a page, the draft-dependent content can persist in the generated page and be served to later visitors until revalidation. Sites are affected when Cache Components or experimental.useCache is enabled and cached functions return draft-dependent content. This issue is fixed in version 16.3.8.

  • Oct 1, 2026Capacitor is a cross-platform native runtime for web applications.CVE-2026-103922 · Other software · ionic-team · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

Capacitor is a cross-platform native runtime for web applications. From 6.0.0 until 6.2.2, 7.6.9, 8.3.5, 8.4.3, and 8.5.1, the Android and iOS WebView navigation guard validates a target URL's host and scheme but not its path, allowing a victim who activates an untrusted link to navigate a frame to /_capacitor_http_interceptor_. The native proxy can fetch an attacker-selected URL and return the response as a document at the application's own origin, allowing script in that response to access same-origin storage, cookies, and registered Capacitor plugin capabilities. Applications remain affected when CapacitorHttp is disabled because affected releases serve the proxy path regardless of that setting. Werkzeug is a comprehensive WSGI web application library. Prior to 3.1.9, the safe_join function used by send_from_directory can allow a NUL: special-device path because safe_join checks the Windows device name without first removing an empty NTFS ADS marker. The trigger is that an application runs on Windows with NTFS and serves a user-specified path ending in a special device name such as NUL:. The attack mechanism is that a requested path ends in a Windows special device name with an empty ADS marker. The impact is that the special device opens successfully and the file read hangs indefinitely. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.9.

  • Sep 27, 2026The account recovery (password reset) functionality in the vulnerability-lookup web application contains a time-of-check-to-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition CVE-2026-101041 · Other software · vulnerability-lookup · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.3

The account recovery (password reset) functionality in the vulnerability-lookup web application contains a time-of-check-to-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the consumption of single-use recovery tokens. The original implementation verified the token nonce against the stored digest and then consumed (cleared) it in separate database operations. Two concurrent HTTP requests presenting the same valid recovery token could both pass the verification check before either transaction committed, allowing both to set their own password on the target account. The last transaction to commit overwrites the first, enabling an attacker who possesses a valid recovery token to replace the legitimate user's password with one of their choosing. A secondary defect in the same endpoint (confirm_account) allowed a valid recovery link to be used to set an empty or trivially short password (e.g., three characters). The view handler performed only a manual equality comparison between the two password fields and never invoked the form's validation logic, bypassing the intended minimum-length and complexity constraints. The affected component is the user account recovery endpoint (/user/confirm_acco

  • Sep 24, 2026phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application.CVE-2026-56738 · Other software · thorsten · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application. The `StopWords::add()` method inversions prior to 4.1.6 builds a SQL `INSERT` statement using `sprintf()` and inserts the user-supplied stop word value directly into the query string without calling the application's database escaping function on it. A sibling method, `StopWords::update()`, which modifies an existing stop word, correctly escapes the same kind of input. The omission is isolated to the `add()` (insert) code path. An authenticated administrator who can reach the stop-word management feature can submit a crafted value as the "word" parameter that breaks out of the SQL string literal and injects arbitrary SQL, including statements to drop tables, exfiltrate data, or modify other rows in the database. Version 4.1.6 fixes the issue.

phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application. Versions 3.2.0 through 4.1.5 contain an authentication bypass in its public two-factor authentication verification flow: an unauthenticated attacker can submit an account’s numeric user ID and a valid or brute-forced six-digit TOTP code without first authenticating with the account password, allowing takeover of any 2FA-enabled account, including administrator accounts. Version 4.1.6 is patched by binding TOTP verification to a session established after successful password authentication and limiting failed TOTP attempts. No official workaround is documented; affected installations should upgrade to 4.1.6 or later.

phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application. A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in versions prior to 4.2.0-alpha allows any unauthenticated user (or low-privileged registered user) to inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes in an administrator's browser when they review or edit a user-submitted FAQ entry. This leads to admin account takeover via session theft. The vulnerability exists because `html_entity_decode()` converts HTML entities into executable HTML after `strip_tags()` has already passed them through, and the admin template renders the content with Twig's `|raw` filter without any output sanitization. Version 4.2.0-alpha fixes the issue.

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.3, Chartbrew's ClickHouse protocol in server/sources/plugins/clickhouse/clickhouse.protocol.js calls applySqlVariables() from server/sources/shared/sql/sql.variables.js without enabling the escapeBackslash option. For a ClickHouse-backed chart with variable binding, an attacker can supply a backslash before a quote so quote doubling does not keep the value within its intended SQL string literal. Public dashboards can expose this path without authentication, and successful exploitation can execute arbitrary ClickHouse SQL to disclose data or, when the database configuration permits, access files or internal network resources. Prior to 5.2.2, Chartbrew's runQuery() implementation in server/modules/ai/orchestrator/tools/runQuery.js interpolates the AI tool's row_limit parameter into a SQL LIMIT clause without runtime integer validation. Prior to @file-viewer/doc 2.3.1 and msdoc-viewer 0.2.2, the legacy DOC renderer emitted document-controlled hyperlink targets into generated HTML after character escaping but without restricting URL schemes. A crafted legacy DOC file could place javascript:, vbscript:, data:, or another unsafe scheme in a rendered link, and script could execute in the embedding application's origin when a user clicked the link. The fix blocks external document links by default, allows only HTTP(S), mail, telephone, safe relative URLs, and internal bookmarks when external links are explicitly enabled, and applies mount-boundary sanitization as defense in depth. This issue is fixed in @file-viewer/doc 2.3.1 and msdoc-viewer 0.2.2.

Jupyter Server is the backend for Jupyter web applications. Prior to version 2.21.0, the 5xx request logging path in jupyter_server/log.py copies the Referer header into a JSON header block without applying the token scrubbing used for the request URI. A request that returns HTTP 500 while the Referer contains a token-bearing URL can therefore write that token to server logs in plaintext. An attacker who can read those logs can recover the token and use the affected user's Jupyter Server permissions. This issue is fixed in version 2.21.0.

Speakr is a personal, self-hosted web application designed for transcribing audio recordings. Prior to 0.8.21-alpha, the csrf_exempt_for_api_tokens() before_request hook in src/app.py calls csrf.exempt(view_func), permanently adding the selected view to Flask-WTF's process-global exemption set. The is_token_authenticated() function in src/utils/token_auth.py calls extract_token_from_request() and treats any present token, including request.args.get('token'), as authenticated without hashing the token, querying the database, or checking validity. A network-reachable attacker can therefore send a false token to disable CSRF protection for the targeted view for the worker lifetime. Because the exemption applies to the view function across HTTP methods, a cross-origin GET to /account with a query token can poison CSRF state for a later state-changing POST without triggering CORS preflight. This browser sequence requires attacker-controlled content on a sibling subdomain under the documented cookie conditions. The bypass can modify profile data, custom prompts, transcription settings, preferences, and administrative status through routes such as admin_toggle_admin. The change_password r

Affected versions of MISP’s interactive CLI shell implement access control independently from the normal web application, causing several authorization inconsistencies. The patch shows that CLI access could differ from the web application in multiple security-sensitive areas:  - feed listings did not enforce the same lookup_visible restrictions for non-host-organisation users;  - feed detail access did not enforce the same host-organisation/site-admin authorization as FeedsController::view();  - Feed.headers, which can contain HTTP authorization credentials, could be exposed instead of being hidden or masked;  - server synchronization authkey values were not explicitly hidden from CLI detail output;  - sharing-group detail access did not consistently use SharingGroup::checkIfAuthorised();  - the use command could establish context for a record without first proving that the user was authorized to view that record The commit additionally hardens pagination and terminal rendering, including neutralization of terminal control sequences found in database-backed values. Those are important hardening changes, but the main vulnerability is the CLI authorization/data-disclosure mismat

Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4, Angular server-side rendering (SSR) in @angular/platform-server serializes untrusted input inside template content nested in fallback raw-content elements such as noscript, iframe, noembed, and noframes. The Domino serializer's fallbackRawContentTags traversal stopped at the DocumentFragment used by template.content, so matching closing tags in xmp, style, script, comments, or text nodes were not escaped. Standard interpolation with comments or text nodes is reachable without relaxed schemas; literal xmp or style requires CUSTOM_ELEMENTS_SCHEMA or NO_ERRORS_SCHEMA, while Renderer2 imperative DOM construction is unconditionally affected. When HTML5 RAWTEXT browser parsing encounters the unescaped closing tag, it exits the fallback container and interprets trailing markup as active DOM elements, enabling arbitrary JavaScript execution. This issue is fixed in versions 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4.

Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.28, 21.2.20, and 22.1.1, Angular's @angular/common HttpTransferCache can cache an authenticated response when Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and hydration use a hierarchical HttpClient configured with withRequestsMadeViaParent. The child TransferCache evaluates an initially anonymous request before delegation, then a parent withInterceptors chain adds an Authorization header, cookie, or API token; although the parent cache skips the authenticated request, the child still stores the private response in TransferState serialized as JSON in the ng-state script. Exploitation requires provideClientHydration, child provideHttpClient delegation through withRequestsMadeViaParent, parent-level credential injection, and an SSR HTML response shared across users by a CDN, reverse proxy, or application cache. A later unauthenticated or unauthorized visitor can receive the cached HTML containing the earlier authenticated user's sensitive response data. Applications can mitigate by attaching credentials at the child, filtering sensitive endpoints with withH

Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4, Angular server-side rendering (SSR) in @angular/platform-server serializes ProcessingInstruction DOM nodes inside fallback raw-content elements without escaping matching ancestor closing tags. ProcessingInstruction data escaped greater-than characters but left less-than characters untouched and did not inspect fallback ancestors, so data such as a matching closing tag prematurely terminates noscript, iframe, noembed, or noframes containers. The vulnerable nodes cannot be authored through standard Angular templates; reachability requires application or library code using inject(DOCUMENT).createProcessingInstruction with attacker-controlled data or Renderer2 DOM insertion inside a fallback container. In HTML5 RAWTEXT parsing, the premature close causes subsequent sibling elements to be interpreted as live HTML and enables arbitrary JavaScript execution in a victim's browser. Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.28, 21.2.20, and 22.1.0, Angular's compiler and runtime in @angular/core and @angular/compiler could omit or select an incorrect sanitizer for security-sensitive directive host bindings because SecurityContext was derived from the declaring directive or component selector rather than the concrete host element. The mismatch is reachable through hostDirectives composition, inherited HostBinding declarations, createComponent with a custom hostElement or dynamic directives, SVG/MathML namespace elements, and tag-neutral selectors such as :not(...). Attacker-controlled href, src, action, xlink:href, or data values can therefore reach DOM attributes without Angular's built-in sanitizer and execute arbitrary JavaScript in the user's browser context. Applications unable to upgrade can use DomSanitizer.sanitize with SecurityContext.URL before assignment or restrict inputs to validated HTTP and HTTPS URL schemes. This issue is fixed in versions 20.3.28, 21.2.20, and 22.1.0.

Prior to 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4, Angular Server-Side Rendering in @angular/platform-server processes user-controlled resource or request URLs through HttpClient after application code validates them with WHATWG URL parsing. The resolveUrl and parseUrl utilities called String.prototype.trim(), which removed leading Unicode whitespace such as U+00A0 or U+FEFF after the input passed a same-origin check, converting a relative path into a protocol-relative attacker-controlled URL. Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. From 4.12.12 until 4.13.5, the fix released for CVE-2026-39408 does not cover every traversal sequence, and toSSG() can still write files outside the configured output directory when a route parameter contains consecutive parent-directory segments. Static site generation builds each output path from the route path and values supplied through ssgParams, then verifies that the result stays inside the output directory using the same normalization routine that built the path. That routine does not fully collapse runs of consecutive parent-directory segments, allowing a path that the check accepts to resolve outside the output directory, and the check also treats output directories that differ in how they are rooted as equivalent. This arises when an application generates a static site from route parameter values it does not fully control, such as slugs from a CMS, API, or user submission. An untrusted ssgParams value can create or overwrite files elsewhere in the build environment and alter generated artifacts or deployment output. The vulnerability affects build-time static site generation only; requ
