This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The User Registration & Membership – Free & Paid Memberships, Subscriptions, Content Restriction, User Profile, Custom User Registration & Login Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 5.2.8 This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the trigger_bulk_action function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to force administrators to approve pending user registrations or deny arbitrary user accounts, locking targeted users out of the site via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. An attacker can bypass the earlier nonce check in trigger_query_actions() by supplying an empty new_role parameter, which causes that handler to return early and cede control to the unprotected trigger_bulk_action() handler; the exit() call at the end of that handler additionally prevents WordPress core's own bulk-users nonce validation from executing.

Oct 16, 2026Kirki – Freeform Page Builder, Website Builder & Customizer: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-107762 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Kirki – Freeform Page Builder, Website Builder & Customizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 6.3.2 via the 'context' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to expose arbitrary users' sensitive profile data — including email address, display name, nicename, registration date, profile image URL, and any string-valued user meta fields such as first name, last name, nickname, description, and custom meta keys — via the REST response. Exploitation requires a published page that uses a Kirki template containing at least one user-type dynamic content block; target user IDs are enumerable via standard WordPress REST endpoints, making the only prerequisite the presence of such a template on the site.

Oct 16, 2026Kirki – Freeform Page Builder, Website Builder & Customizer: PHP Object InjectionCVE-2026-104734 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Kirki – Freeform Page Builder, Website Builder & Customizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 6.3.2 via deserialization of untrusted input . This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present. By default, Editor-level users are granted FULL_ACCESS to the plugin's import endpoint via the KIRKI_USERS_DEFAULT_FULL_ACCESS configuration, meaning exploitation is possible at Editor privilege level rather than being restricted to administrators alone.

This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Oct 16, 2026User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-109447 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.3 via the `role` parameter handled by the `wppb_add_meta_to_user_on_activation()` function. The vulnerability exists because the activation handler passes the attacker-supplied role value directly to `WP_User::set_role()` with no allow-list validation, and the 4.0.3 reserved-name check exempts pre-existing form fields from the block, allowing a legacy field with meta-name `role` to persist and bridge attacker-controlled request input into the serialized signup record stored in `wp_signups`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to gain a fully activated WordPress administrator account by submitting `role=administrator` through the public `[wppb-register]` shortcode form and subsequently clicking the confirmation activation link. Exploitation requires the site to have a legacy form field with meta-name `role` carried over from before the 4.0.3 upgrade, email confirmation enabled, and open user registration — all stable site-state conditions once established.

This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Oct 16, 2026Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder: Arbitrary Shortcode ExecutionCVE-2026-101335 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Shortcode Execution in versions up to, and including, 1.58.1. This is due to the forminator_replace_quiz_form_data() helper invoking do_shortcode() on the fully expanded notification body once the {quiz_result} merge tag has been substituted, while the earlier-substituted {user_agent} and {refer_url} merge tags carry unauthenticated attacker-controlled bytes (the User-Agent header and the referer_url POST parameter) through sanitize_text_field()/esc_html(), neither of which strip the '[' and ']' shortcode delimiters. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary WordPress shortcodes registered on the site by submitting a quiz whose notification template contains {quiz_result}; the resulting impact depends on the shortcodes exposed by other installed plugins/themes and can range from arbitrary content injection to information disclosure.

Oct 16, 2026Dokan: AI Powered WooCommerce Multivendor Marketplace Solution – Build Your Own Amazon, eBay, Etsy: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-89280 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Dokan: AI Powered WooCommerce Multivendor Marketplace Solution – Build Your Own Amazon, eBay, Etsy plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 5.2.1 via the 'password' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to change the WordPress account password of any customer who has placed at least one order with the attacking vendor, enabling login as that customer and resulting in a limited account takeover. Vendor-level access, required to exploit this vulnerability, can be self-registered through the public 'I am a vendor' registration flow when that option is enabled on the site.

Oct 16, 2026Colibri Page Builder: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-107758 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Colibri Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.390 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected payload survives storage because the widened comment allow-list permits SVG elements with arbitrary data-* attributes; execution occurs because colibri.js, enqueued globally on every front-end page, reads the stored data-target value via jQuery.data() — which HTML-entity-decodes it — and passes the resulting string directly into jQuery(), which parses a leading '<' as HTML and fires the embedded event handler.

Oct 14, 2026LifterLMS – WP LMS for eLearning, Online Courses, & Quizzes: Local File InclusionCVE-2026-110284 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The LifterLMS – WP LMS for eLearning, Online Courses, & Quizzes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in versions up to, and including, 10.3.1 via attacker-controlled attributes of the [lifterlms_checkout] shortcode. This is due to the llms_get_template() helper performing extract() on the shortcode attribute array before resolving the template path, which allows the attacker-supplied 'template_name' and 'default_path' shortcode attributes to overwrite the function's local parameters and ultimately control the path passed to a PHP include. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Instructor-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, that can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where files with safe extensions containing attacker-controlled content can be uploaded and included.

Oct 14, 2026SimpleForm – Form Maker to Chat Apps with Quiz, Poll and Multi Lead Notifications: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104748 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The SimpleForm – Form Maker to Chat Apps with Quiz, Poll and Multi Lead Notifications plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 3.10.0 This is due to the `wp_ajax_nopriv_simpleform_wp_register` AJAX action lacking any capability check for role assignment and the `save_custom_fields_to_user_meta()` function using an exclusion list that omits `wp_capabilities`, combined with `get_form_settings()` returning a hard-coded defaults array that unconditionally enables meta writing regardless of the supplied `form_id`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create a new Administrator-level WordPress account by supplying `wp_capabilities[administrator]=1` alongside standard registration fields. The nonce required by the endpoint is publicly emitted into the `front_end_data` JavaScript object on every front-end page via `wp_enqueue_scripts`, making it trivially obtainable by any unauthenticated visitor before submitting the malicious request.

The Avada (Fusion) Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.16.1 via the 'args[link_target]' parameter. The awb-instagram-nonce required to trigger this endpoint is printed in plaintext in fusionInstagramVars on any page rendering the [fusion_instagram] shortcode, making it harvestable by any anonymous visitor before the exploit request is sent.
