    Fleet before 4.87.0 does not protect the two endpoints that serve in-house iOS application packages and manifests (enterprise tier only) with the intended random, time-limited URL token. Because Apple's InstallEnterpriseApplication MDM command requires these URLs to be reachable without a Fleet session, they cannot rely on session-based authentication, and the missing token allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access to the Fleet server to download in-house IPA binaries and their metadata (bundle identifier, version, and name) by guessing sequential title identifiers. The impact is limited to read-only disclosure; there is no privilege escalation or write access, and the free tier is unaffected (it returns fleet.ErrMissingLicense).

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: Dont send random pad bytes in RESET/ACTIVATE messages The interface name is passed in a fixed length (TIPC_MAX_IF_NAME) buffer. Replace the strcpy(data, l->if_name) with memcpy() so that the pad bytes are actually written (l->if_name[] is zero padded) rather than sending random bytes from the skb to the remote system. Replace two other strcpy() with strscpy().

  • Sep 22, 2026Postiz generates security-sensitive credentials using `Math.random()` instead of a cryptographically secure source.CVE-2026-94456 · Other software · GitroomHQ · reported by 4cdc9741-f887-419a-a2fd-acbbd2729276Critical 9.1

    Postiz generates security-sensitive credentials using `Math.random()` instead of a cryptographically secure source. The same helper is used for OAuth access tokens, authorization codes, client secrets, organization API keys, and PKCE verifiers, meaning these credentials depend entirely on V8’s deterministic xorshift128+ PRNG state. An unauthenticated OAuth dynamic client registration endpoint exposes freshly generated client credentials, giving attackers enough consecutive PRNG output to reconstruct that internal state. Once recovered, they can deterministically derive past and future values produced by the same generator, potentially compromising credentials belonging to other users and organizations.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: inetpeer: randomize RB-tree node comparison using SipHash The inetpeer rate limiting system stores peer entries in a Red-Black tree keyed deterministically on the remote IP address. Because tree lookups walk the RB-tree using standard lexicographical comparisons (inetpeer_addr_cmp), an off-path adversary can predict the exact topology of the tree and the sequence of nodes traversed during lookups (the gc_stack candidate list). By combining deterministic tree traversal with aggressive garbage collection (triggered when tree size exceeds inet_peer_threshold), an attacker can selectively force the eviction of targeted inet_peer nodes. When an evicted node is subsequently re-created upon receiving a new packet, its rate-limiting token bucket (rate_tokens, rate_last) is reset to full capacity. This creates a side-channel primitive allowing off-path attackers to bypass IP-keyed ICMP rate limits and infer open UDP ports (similar to SAD DNS style attacks). Mitigate this by randomizing the RB-tree node comparison logic using SipHash with a secret key (inetpeer_hash_key) initialized via net_get_random_once(). Nodes are o

    AVideo through commit c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 uses a cryptographically weak pseudo-random number generator when creating account activation / login pairing codes. getRandomCode() in objects/functions.php derives the code entirely from uniqid() (sprintf('%08x%05x', seconds, microseconds)) with a single non-CSPRNG rand() character used only as padding, reducing the code space to roughly 36 x 10^6 (~2^25) values for a known generation second. Because plugin/API/set.json.php?APIName=login_code can be called without authentication, it also serves as an oracle for the server's exact microtime. An unauthenticated remote attacker who guesses a valid, unexpired code (codes expire after 10 minutes) can redeem it at plugin/API/get.json.php?APIName=login_code to obtain the target account's email address and a User::getUserHash(users_id, '+1 year') value, a credential accepted in place of the account password for one year, resulting in account takeover. No patched version is available.

    net_if_ipv6_calc_reachable_time() in subsys/net/ip/net_if.c derives a randomized ND reachable time from ipv6->base_reachable_time as min_reachable + sys_rand32_get() % (max_reachable - min_reachable), where min_reachable = base/2 and max_reachable = 3*base/2 using integer division. When base_reachable_time is 1, both min_reachable and the modulus collapse so the function returns 0, and net_if_ipv6_set_reachable_time() stores that 0 into ipv6->reachable_time. The base_reachable_time is attacker-controlled: handle_ra_input() in subsys/net/ip/ipv6_nbr.c accepts the Reachable Time field of an incoming Router Advertisement whenever it is nonzero and <= MAX_REACHABLE_TIME, so a single unauthenticated, link-local RA carrying a Reachable Time of 1 drives the computed reachable time to 0. Router Advertisements are unauthenticated by default and require only adjacency to the target link. When a neighbor is subsequently confirmed reachable, net_ipv6_nbr_set_reachable_timer() reads the value and executes NET_ASSERT(time, "Zero reachable timeout!"). On builds with CONFIG_ASSERT enabled this triggers a fatal kernel assertion — a remote denial of service; on builds without assertions the reacha

    The API Publisher component previously used a non-cryptographic pseudorandom number generator (PRNG) to create shared secrets for Webhook HMAC validation. This PRNG lacks sufficient entropy for security-sensitive operations, allowing a sophisticated attacker to predict future secrets. This enables malicious actors to forge event payloads with valid HMAC signatures, bypassing the API Gateway's authenticity verification. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to predict shared secrets used for Webhook HMAC validation and forge event payloads with valid signatures. This may enable bypassing API Gateway authenticity checks, leading to unauthorized event injection, data manipulation, or downstream system compromise.

    Use of Insufficiently Random Values vulnerability in ash-project ash_admin ships a hardcoded, publicly known CSP nonce, defeating nonce-based Content-Security-Policy protection. When mounted without :csp_nonce_assign_key, AshAdmin.Router.ash_admin/2 defaulted the img, style, and script nonces to the literal constant ash_admin-Ed55GFnX, which AshAdmin.Layouts wrote verbatim into the nonce attribute of its inline <style> and <script> tags on every response. The value is a compile-time constant published in the repository and is never rotated per request. If an application's CSP script-src allow-lists that documented default, any HTML-injection sink on an admin page can reuse the known nonce to run inline scripts the policy was meant to block. The fix generates a fresh random nonce per request. This issue affects ash_admin: from 0.10.8 before 1.3.1.

  • Aug 26, 2026bestzip builds the argument list for the system zip utility without separating options from operands.CVE-2026-80427 · Other software · nfriedly · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6

    bestzip builds the argument list for the system zip utility without separating options from operands. The destination archive path and the caller-supplied source paths are passed to the child process with no -- delimiter between them, so any source entry beginning with a hyphen is interpreted by zip as an option rather than a file name. zip accepts -T to test the finished archive and -TT to name the command used to perform that test, so a source list containing those two entries and a command string causes zip to run that command through a shell once the archive has been written. An application that passes a file name or path it received from an untrusted source into the bestzip API therefore executes a command of the supplier's choosing. Versions 2.2.6 and 3.0.2 add the delimiter.

Completed descriptors beyond the budget and everything still posted in [hw_head, sw_tail) keep their skb or xdp_frame when the interface goes down: aq_vec_ring_free() then frees the buffer ring and the references are lost for good. Today this is a silent memory leak on every interface down under TX/XDP_TX load. With the conversion of the RX path to page_pool posted for net-next it becomes much more visible: XDP_TX frames carry fragment references on the RX ring's page_pool, so a single stranded frame keeps the pool's inflight count above zero forever. page_pool_destroy() then never completes, the pool is leaked together with its pages, and "page_pool_release_retry() stalled pool shutdown" is warned every 60 seconds from that point on, on every ifdown, XDP detach or ring resize under XDP_TX load. The PrettyLinks – Affiliate Links, Link Branding, Link Tracking, Marketing and Stripe Payments Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 's' (search) parameter on the Pretty Links listing page in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.20. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query in the `search_links_table()` function. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwrng: virtio: clamp device-reported used.len at copy_data() random_recv_done() stores the device-reported used.len directly into vi->data_avail. copy_data() then indexes vi->data[] using vi->data_idx (advanced by previous copy_data() calls) and issues a memcpy() without re-validating either value against the posted buffer size sizeof(vi->data) (SMP_CACHE_BYTES bytes, typically 32 or 64). A malicious or buggy virtio-rng backend can set used.len beyond sizeof(vi->data), steering the memcpy() past the end of the inline array into adjacent kmalloc-1k slab bytes. hwrng_fillfn() mixes those bytes into the guest RNG, and guest root can also observe them directly via /dev/hwrng. Concrete impact is inside the guest: - Memory-safety / hardening: any virtio-rng backend that over-reports used.len causes the driver to read past vi->data into unrelated slab contents. hwrng_fillfn() is a kernel thread that runs as soon as the device is probed; no guest userspace interaction is required to first-trigger the OOB. - Cross-boundary leak (confidential-compute threat model): a malicious hypervisor cooperating

  • Jul 22, 2026In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.4.22 up to and including 1.25.1, UDP source port is randomized and intended to serve as a secret value that increases the entropy of DNSCVE-2026-50252 · Other software · NLnet Labs · reported by sep@nlnetlabs.nlMedium 5.7

    In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.4.22 up to and including 1.25.1, UDP source port is randomized and intended to serve as a secret value that increases the entropy of DNS transactions. When resolver load balancing policies depend on the source port while their outcome is revealed this secrecy is undermined. The vulnerability arises when the load balancing policy is consistent with respect to the incoming source UDP port and IP address while heavily depending on the incoming source UDP port as a randomization source. When the SO_REUSEPORT configuration option is enabled ('so-reuseport: yes') in Unbound (by default), it meets these conditions, making it vulnerable for DNS cache poisoning attacks. Upon startup, Unbound randomly partitions the available UDP source port space into disjoint subsets of (almost) equal size, assigning each subset to a specific worker thread. When an incoming DNS query is received, the kernel’s SO_REUSEPORT load balancing mechanism deterministically assigns the query to a socket associated with a particular thread. All outgoing DNS queries generated during the resolution of that request use source ports selected exclusively from the port subset assigned to the corresp
