The LwM2M JSON content formatter's get_string() in subsys/net/lib/lwm2m/lwm2m_rw_json.c copies a parsed JSON string into a caller-supplied buffer and NUL-terminates it. The length guard used if (string_length > buflen), which accepts a string whose length is exactly buflen. After memcpy() fills the whole buffer, buf[string_length] = '\0' then writes one byte past the end of the buffer (CWE-787). The string value and its length are taken directly from the incoming CoAP payload during a LwM2M WRITE: do_write_op_json() parses the payload obtained from coap_packet_get_payload(), and get_string() is invoked from lwm2m_write_handler() (engine_get_string() in subsys/net/lib/lwm2m/lwm2m_message_handling.c) for a LWM2M_RES_TYPE_STRING resource. The destination buf/buflen is either the resource instance's fixed data buffer (res_inst->data_ptr/max_data_len) or the engine validation buffer (msg->ctx->validate_buf). A LwM2M server (the client's DTLS peer) can therefore write a string resource with a value whose length equals the target buffer size and force a one-byte overflow. The overflow is a single out-of-bounds write of the constant byte 0x00 immediately past the resource or validation b

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: cs40l50-vibra - validate custom data from user space cs40l50_add() copies the custom data of an FF_PERIODIC/FF_CUSTOM effect straight from the ff_effect the user passed to EVIOCSFF, without requiring it to hold anything: work_data.custom_data = memdup_array_user(periodic->custom_data, periodic->custom_len, sizeof(s16)); work_data.custom_len = periodic->custom_len; The driver then reads two words out of that buffer: custom_data[0] as the waveform bank in cs40l50_effect_bank_set(), and custom_data[1] as the index within the bank in cs40l50_effect_index_set(). Neither read is covered by a length check, and custom_len is fully user controlled: - custom_len == 0 makes memdup_array_user() call memdup_user() with a length of zero, which returns ZERO_SIZE_PTR rather than an error, so custom_data[0] dereferences it. - custom_len == 1 allocates two bytes. A bank of ROM or RAM keeps effect->type out of the OWT case, and custom_data[1] is then read one word past the allocation. The bank value

Aug 26, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: SOF: ipc4-topology: Refresh copier IPC payload before widget setup The ipc_config_daCVE-2026-80525 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: SOF: ipc4-topology: Refresh copier IPC payload before widget setup The ipc_config_data buffer for copier widgets is built once during ipc_prepare (called from sof_pcm_setup_connected_widgets) and cached for reuse. For host copiers this buffer contains the copier_data with gtw_cfg.node_id (host DMA ID). For DAI copiers it additionally includes a dma_config_tlv trailer with stream_id and dma_channel_id for HDA link DMA. On suspend/resume, both host and link DMA streams are released and re-allocated with potentially different stream tags. The underlying copier_data and dma_config_tlv structures are correctly updated by host_config and sdw_hda_dai_hw_params respectively. However, since the widget list (spcm->stream[].list) persists across suspend, sof_pcm_hw_params skips sof_pcm_setup_connected_widgets and ipc_prepare never runs again to rebuild ipc_config_data. The stale cached payload is then sent to firmware with boot-time DMA channel assignments, causing DMA channel conflicts that lead to firmware errors and crashes. Fix this by refreshing copier_data and dma_config_tlv portions of ipc_config_data in sof_

Aug 25, 2026GNU wget is vulnerable to denial of service in its FTP OPIE/S-KEY authentication functionality.CVE-2026-16599 · Other software · GNU · reported by cvd@cert.plMedium 5.1
GNU wget is vulnerable to denial of service in its FTP OPIE/S-KEY authentication functionality. The server-supplied sequence number from the FTP challenge line is used as an iteration count for an MD5 key-derivation loop without any upper bound validation. A malicious FTP server or a network attacker positioned to intercept FTP traffic can send a crafted OPIE challenge with a sequence number near INT_MAX, causing wget to perform up to approximately 2.1 billion MD5 computations and suspend for some time. The --timeout option does not mitigate this because it applies only to network I/O, not CPU computation. This issue was fixed in commit e9697d98e7249b0f68a6be040a4f3dcc5bc101fa

Aug 24, 2026RustDesk's Windows clipboard redirection copies a peer-supplied length into a fixed-size caller buffer without an upper bound check.CVE-2026-76840 · Other software · rustdesk · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5
RustDesk's Windows clipboard redirection copies a peer-supplied length into a fixed-size caller buffer without an upper bound check. When an OLE paste consumer such as explorer.exe calls IStream::Read with a buffer of cb bytes, CliprdrStream_Read in libs/clipboard/src/windows/wf_cliprdr.c requests that many bytes of a remote file through cliprdr_send_request_filecontents and then executes CopyMemory(pv, clipboard->req_fdata, clipboard->req_fsize), where req_fsize is taken verbatim from the peer's CLIPRDR FileContentsResponse by wf_cliprdr_server_file_contents_response (req_fsize = fileContentsResponse->cbRequested) and is never clamped to cb anywhere in the chain. The function's only length comparison, req_fsize < cb, handles the short-read case and is evaluated after the copy has already occurred. A malicious or compromised peer that answers a small file-contents read with an oversized response therefore writes attacker-chosen data past the end of the paste consumer's heap buffer when the local user pastes clipboard file contents offered by the remote side. The file is a fork of FreeRDP's client/Windows/wf_cliprdr.c, where the same defect is CVE-2026-68579, fixed in FreeRDP 3.30.0

Aug 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: rtl8723bs: fix OOB read in WMM_param_handler() WMM_param_handler() copies a fixedCVE-2026-74650 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: rtl8723bs: fix OOB read in WMM_param_handler() WMM_param_handler() copies a fixed-size WMM parameter element out of a received information element without checking that the element is long enough, causing an out-of-bounds read for a short WMM IE. The handler reads sizeof(struct WMM_para_element) (18) bytes at pIE->data + 6, so it requires pIE->length to be at least 24 (WLAN_WMM_LEN), but it never validates the length. Two of its three callers reach it after matching only the WMM OUI: OnAssocRsp() in rtw_mlme_ext.c matches a 6-byte OUI, and join_cmd_hdl() matches a 4-byte OUI, before calling the handler. A vendor-specific IE carrying the WMM OUI but a length between 6 and 23, placed in an association response or in the IE blob handed to join_cmd_hdl(), passes the OUI check and then makes the memcmp() and memcpy() at pIE->data + 6 read past the end of the element. OnAssocRsp() parses a frame received from the AP, so this is reachable from a remote peer. The remaining caller in rtw_wlan_util.c already guards the handler with "pIE->length == WLAN_WMM_LEN". Move the equivalent check into the handler itself

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: libiscsi: Fix stale-data leak into the SCSI sense buffer iscsi_scsi_cmd_rsp() copies the sense data of a SCSI Response from the target-supplied data segment. The segment carries a 2-byte sense length followed by the sense bytes, so it must hold 2 + senselen bytes, but the bounds check only requires datalen >= senselen: senselen = get_unaligned_be16(data); if (datalen < senselen) goto invalid_datalen; memcpy(sc->sense_buffer, data + 2, min_t(uint16_t, senselen, SCSI_SENSE_BUFFERSIZE)); A target that returns a SCSI Response whose datalen equals senselen (with senselen <= SCSI_SENSE_BUFFERSIZE) makes the memcpy() from data + 2 read up to two bytes past the received data. Those bytes are stale conn->data contents and end up in the command's sense buffer, which is returned to userspace. Account for the 2-byte sense length prefix in the check.

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_u32: validate offshift to prevent shift-out-of-bounds u32_change() copies tCVE-2026-74544 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_u32: validate offshift to prevent shift-out-of-bounds u32_change() copies the user-provided tc_u32_sel.offshift (unsigned char, 0-255) into the kernel knode object without bounds validation. When a packet later hits u32_classify() with TC_U32_VAROFFSET set, it evaluates `ntohs(offmask & *data) >> offshift` where the left operand is a 16-bit value promoted to a 32-bit int. Any offshift >= 32 is undefined behavior per C11 6.5.7p3, triggerable by an unprivileged user via user/network namespaces. UBSAN: shift-out-of-bounds in net/sched/cls_u32.c:236:43 shift exponent 32 is too large for 32-bit type int Fix this by rejecting offshift >= 16 during filter creation in u32_change().

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ipset: do not update comments from kernel-side hash adds mtype_resize() copies CVE-2026-74492 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.4
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ipset: do not update comments from kernel-side hash adds mtype_resize() copies comment pointers with memcpy(), not the comment objects themselves. During the window after an entry has been copied but before the table swap and backlog replay, the old table is still published for packet-side updates while the replacement-table entry already holds the same ip_set_comment_rcu pointer. If xt_SET --add-set ... --exist hits that old entry in this window, mtype_add() calls ip_set_init_comment() even though packet-side adds carry no comment payload. That call frees the shared comment through the old entry, so the replacement-table entry now holds a stale pointer. When the queued add is replayed on the new table, mtype_add() calls ip_set_init_comment() again and strlen() dereferences the stale pointer. Fix this in mtype_add() by skipping ip_set_init_comment() when ext->target marks a packet-side add. Userspace adds still update comments, while packet-side adds can no longer free comment storage shared with a resize copy.

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: rebase copied fsdlm LVB pointers in locking_state The locking_state debugfs iteratoCVE-2026-74351 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: rebase copied fsdlm LVB pointers in locking_state The locking_state debugfs iterator snapshots struct ocfs2_lock_res by value under ocfs2_dlm_tracking_lock and later formats that copy in ocfs2_dlm_seq_show(). That is fine for the inline fields, but the userspace fsdlm stack stores the LVB through lksb_fsdlm.sb_lvbptr. Once the iterator drops the tracking lock, a copied non-NULL sb_lvbptr still points into the original lockres owner, so teardown can free that container before the debugfs dump walks the raw LVB bytes. Rebase the copied sb_lvbptr to the copied l_lksb before dumping the raw LVB. The seq snapshot already carries the inline LVB storage reserved in struct ocfs2_dlm_lksb, so the debugfs reader can dump the copied bytes without borrowing the original lockres lifetime. The buggy scenario involves two paths, with each column showing the order within that path: locking_state reader: lockres teardown: 1. ocfs2_dlm_seq_start()/next() 1. file release or another owner copies struct ocfs2_lock_res teardown reaches 2. ocfs2_dlm_seq_show() formats ocfs2_lo

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2/dlm: require a ref for locking_state debugfs open debug_lockres_open() copies inode-CVE-2026-74348 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2/dlm: require a ref for locking_state debugfs open debug_lockres_open() copies inode->i_private into struct debug_lockres and debug_lockres_release() later drops that pointer with dlm_put(). That only works if open successfully pins the struct dlm_ctxt. Today open calls dlm_grab(dlm) but ignores its return value. Once the last domain unregister has removed the context from dlm_domains, dlm_grab() returns NULL, yet open still stores the raw pointer and returns success. The later release path is outside the debugfs removal barrier, so it can call dlm_put() after dlm_free_ctxt_mem() has freed the context. KASAN reports this as a slab-use-after-free in dlm_put() called from debug_lockres_release(). Fail the open when dlm_grab() cannot acquire the reference and unwind the seq_file private state before returning. That keeps locking_state from handing out a file descriptor whose release path does not own the dlm_ctxt. The buggy scenario involves two paths, with each column showing the order within that path: locking_state debugfs open: last domain unregister: 1. debug_lockres_open() reads 1

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: seq: Clear variable event pointer on read snd_seq_read() copies a queued variable-leCVE-2026-74339 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: seq: Clear variable event pointer on read snd_seq_read() copies a queued variable-length event header to userspace before expanding the payload. Queued variable-length events use SNDRV_SEQ_EXT_CHAINED internally, and data.ext.ptr points at the first extension cell. The read side strips SNDRV_SEQ_EXT_* bits from data.ext.len before the copy, but it leaves data.ext.ptr untouched. A userspace sequencer client can therefore write a direct variable event to itself and read back the extension-cell kernel address from the returned header. Clear the temporary header pointer before copy_to_user(). The original queued event remains unchanged and is still passed to snd_seq_expand_var_event(), so payload expansion keeps using the internal chain.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: validate EHT MLE before MLD ID read cfg80211_gen_new_ie() copies ML probe response elements from the parent frame when the parent EHT multi-link element has an MLD ID matching the nontransmitted BSSID index. The code only checked that the extension element had more than one byte before calling ieee80211_mle_get_mld_id(). That helper assumes a BASIC MLE with enough common info and documents that callers must first use ieee80211_mle_type_ok(). Attack chain: malicious AP sends a short EHT MLE in an MBSSID beacon. cfg80211_inform_bss_frame_data() stores the copied IE buffer. cfg80211_parse_mbssid_data() builds the nontransmitted BSS IE. cfg80211_gen_new_ie() sees the EHT MLE in the parent frame. ieee80211_mle_get_mld_id() then reads past the IE boundary. Validate the MLE type and size before reading the MLD ID. This matches the contract required by the MLE helper and rejects the short element before any internal MLE fields are accessed.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/imagination: Fix user array stride in pvr_set_uobj_array() pvr_set_uobj_array() copies an array of kernel objects to a userspace array whose element size is described by out->stride. When out->stride is different from the kernel object size, the slow path advances the userspace pointer by the kernel object size and the kernel pointer by the userspace stride. This reverses the intended layout. For larger userspace strides, later copies read from the wrong kernel addresses. For smaller userspace strides, later copies are written at the wrong userspace offsets. The padding clear is also done only for the first element instead of the padding area for each element. Advance the userspace pointer by out->stride and the kernel pointer by obj_size, and clear per-element padding while the current userspace pointer is still available.

Aug 10, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: validate num_subauth when copying ACE in set_ntacl_dacl set_ntacl_dacl() copies eacCVE-2026-68100 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: validate num_subauth when copying ACE in set_ntacl_dacl set_ntacl_dacl() copies each ACE from the attacker-controlled stored security descriptor verbatim into the response DACL without checking sid.num_subauth. The ACE bytes (including an unchecked num_subauth) originate from an authenticated SMB2_SET_INFO(SecInfo=DACL) that is stored raw via ksmbd_vfs_set_sd_xattr(); parse_dacl() rejects a bad ACE with `break` rather than an error, so parse_sec_desc() still returns success and the malformed SD reaches the xattr intact. On a subsequent SMB2_QUERY_INFO(SecInfo=DACL) for an inode carrying a POSIX access ACL, build_sec_desc() -> set_ntacl_dacl() -> set_posix_acl_entries_dacl() walks the copied ACEs and reads ntace->sid.sub_auth[ntace->sid.num_subauth - 1] with num_subauth taken straight from the stored SD. Since sub_auth[] is fixed at SID_MAX_SUB_AUTHORITIES (15), a crafted num_subauth (e.g. 255) drives an out-of-bounds heap read of ~1 KB with an offset fully controlled by an authenticated client. The sibling functions already gate this field: parse_dacl() -- num_subauth == 0 || > SID_MAX_SUB_AUT

Aug 10, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: bound DACL dedup walk to copied ACEs set_ntacl_dacl() can stop copying ACEs before CVE-2026-68098 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: bound DACL dedup walk to copied ACEs set_ntacl_dacl() can stop copying ACEs before consuming the full input DACL when size accounting overflows. When that happens, num_aces reflects only the ACEs that were actually copied into the output DACL, but set_posix_acl_entries_dacl() still receives nt_num_aces and uses it to walk the existing ACE array during dedup. That makes the dedup walk scan past the copied ACE array and inspect buffer tail that does not contain valid ACEs. Split the two meanings currently carried by the NT ACE count. Pass the number of copied NT ACEs to bound the dedup walk, and preserve the original "input DACL had NT ACEs" state separately for the Everyone/default ACL fallback. This keeps the dedup walk aligned with the ACEs that are actually present in the rebuilt DACL.

Apache CXF's JwtRequestCodeFilter copies all claims from a signed request JWT into the authorization parameter map without excluding security-sensitive parameters. A client that can produce a validly-signed request JWT (e.g., one whose client_secret is known or compromised) can thereby substitute the code_challenge, code_challenge_method, nonce, and state values that were set in the outer HTTP request, undermining PKCE integrity and OpenID Connect replay protection. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.3 or 4.1.8 or 3.6.12, which fix this issue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: seq: Fix uninitialised heap leak in snd_seq_event_dup() snd_seq_event_dup() copies an incoming event into a pool cell and, in the UMP-enabled build, clears the trailing cell->ump.raw.extra word that the memcpy() did not cover. The guard deciding whether to clear it compares the copied size against sizeof(cell->event): memcpy(&cell->ump, event, size); if (size < sizeof(cell->event)) cell->ump.raw.extra = 0; For a legacy (non-UMP) event, size == sizeof(struct snd_seq_event) == sizeof(cell->event), so the condition is false and the extra word keeps stale data. The cell pool is allocated with kvmalloc() (not zeroed) and cells are reused via a free list, so that word holds uninitialised heap or leftover event data. When such a cell is delivered to a UMP client (client->midi_version > 0) that set SNDRV_SEQ_FILTER_NO_CONVERT -- so the legacy event reaches it unconverted -- snd_seq_read() reads it out as the larger struct snd_seq_ump_event and copies the stale word to user space, a 4-byte kernel heap infoleak to an unprivileged /dev/snd/seq client. Compare against sizeof(cell->ump) instead, so the trailin

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: Bound used_lrs when flushing the pKVM hyp vCPU flush_hyp_vcpu() copies the host vGIC state into the hyp's private vCPU on every run. The vGIC list register save and restore use used_lrs as their loop bound and expect it to stay within the number of implemented list registers. While this is generally the case, flush_hyp_vcpu() copies vgic_v3 verbatim and does not enforce this, so a value provided by the host is used at EL2 to index vgic_lr[] and access ICH_LR<n>_EL2 (host -> EL2). Fix by clamping used_lrs to the number of implemented list registers after the copy, as the trusted path already does in vgic_flush_lr_state(). The number of implemented list registers is constant after init, so it is replicated once from kvm_vgic_global_state.nr_lr into hyp_gicv3_nr_lr rather than read on every entry.

subsys/net/lib/lwm2m/lwm2m_pull_context.c copied the firmware-update Package URI into a fixed static buffer (context.uri, size CONFIG_LWM2M_SWMGMT_PACKAGE_URI_LEN, default 128) with memcpy(context.uri, uri, LWM2M_PACKAGE_URI_LEN), copying exactly the destination size with no length validation. The Firmware-Update object stores the server-supplied Package URI (/5/0/1) in a 255-byte buffer, so a LwM2M management server (or an on-path attacker on a session lacking strong DTLS) can WRITE a URI of 128-254 characters; only the first 128 bytes are then copied into context.uri with no NUL terminator. That buffer is subsequently consumed as a C string by http_parser_parse_url(context.uri, strlen(context.uri), ...), strlen-based CoAP URI-path/PROXY-URI option appends, and lwm2m_parse_peerinfo(), causing an out-of-bounds read of adjacent static memory. The over-read bytes are appended to outbound CoAP requests (information disclosure of adjacent device memory to the server/proxy) and can crash the device (denial of service). The vulnerable copy was introduced by the pull-context refactor (first released in v3.0.0) and is present through v4.4.0; the default-on CONFIG_LWM2M_FIRMWARE_UPDATE_PULL

parse_ipv4() in subsys/net/ip/utils.c (reached via net_ipaddr_parse() for strings of the form "a.b.c.d:port") copies the port substring into a fixed 17-byte stack buffer (char ipaddr[NET_IPV4_ADDR_LEN + 1]) using a length of str_len - end - 1, where str_len is the full, unbounded input length and end is only the (<=15-byte) offset of the ':' delimiter. Because the destination size is never consulted, a crafted address string with a long suffix after the colon (e.g. "1.2.3.4:" followed by hundreds of bytes) causes an out-of-bounds stack write whose length and contents are fully attacker-controlled (memcpy of the suffix plus a trailing NUL), enabling memory corruption and at minimum a denial of service, and potentially control-flow hijack. The parser is reached from the standard socket API (zsock_getaddrinfo / literal-address resolution), DNS server-string configuration, and the eswifi Wi-Fi co-processor DNS-response path, so an application that resolves a network-influenced address string is exposed. The bug was introduced when the parser was added (Zephyr v1.9.0) and shipped in all releases through v4.4.0. The fix removes the unbounded copy and validates the port length before copy

The nRF70 Wi-Fi driver's power-save event handler nrf_wifi_event_proc_get_power_save_info() in drivers/wifi/nrf_wifi/src/wifi_mgmt.c copied TWT (Target Wake Time) flow entries from an nrf_wifi_umac_event_power_save_info event into the fixed-size twt_flows[WIFI_MAX_TWT_FLOWS] (8-element) array of a caller-supplied struct wifi_ps_config, looping over event-provided num_twt_flows without validating it against WIFI_MAX_TWT_FLOWS or checking event_len. When num_twt_flows exceeds 8, the handler writes past the destination array (which is typically on the caller's stack, e.g. the wifi ps shell command) -- an out-of-bounds write of ~40-byte TWT entries -- and reads twt_flow_info[i] past the event buffer. The event is delivered by the nRF70 co-processor firmware in response to a host-initiated power-save GET, so reaching the overflow requires the firmware to emit a malformed or out-of-range event; the trust boundary is host-to-trusted-coprocessor rather than a direct remote-AP write, with over-the-air influence on the flow count being indirect and bounded by the 3-bit TWT flow-id space. Affected: builds with CONFIG_NRF70_STA_MODE on releases through v4.4.0. The fix rejects events with num_t

Jul 8, 2026Copier is a library and CLI app for rendering project templates.CVE-2026-53951 · Other software · copier-org · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
Copier is a library and CLI app for rendering project templates. In versions 9.5.0 through 9.15.1, the `trust` setting's prefix match (`copier/_settings.py`) compares the template URL against a trusted prefix with a raw `str.startswith` and no path normalization, while the URL is normalized when the template is actually fetched (`Path.resolve()` for local paths; libcurl dot-segment removal for `https`). A template reference that textually starts with a trusted prefix but contains `..` is therefore granted trust yet resolves to a different, attacker-controlled template, whose `tasks` / `migrations` / `jinja_extensions` then run without the `--trust` prompt — arbitrary command execution. Version 9.15.2 patches the issue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hv_netvsc: use kmap_local_page in netvsc_copy_to_send_buf netvsc_copy_to_send_buf() copies page buffer entries into the VMBus send buffer using phys_to_virt() on the entry PFN. Entries for the RNDIS header and the skb linear data come from kmalloc'd memory and are always in the kernel direct map, but entries for skb fragments reference page cache or user pages, which on 32-bit x86 with CONFIG_HIGHMEM=y can live above the LOWMEM boundary. For such a page phys_to_virt() returns an address outside the direct map and the subsequent memcpy() faults on the transmit softirq path, which is fatal. Map the pages with kmap_local_page() instead, handling two properties of the page buffer entries: - pb[i].pfn is a Hyper-V PFN at HV_HYP_PAGE_SIZE (4K) granularity, not a native PFN. Reconstruct the physical address first and derive the native page from it, so the mapping stays correct where PAGE_SIZE > HV_HYP_PAGE_SIZE (e.g. arm64 with 64K pages). - Since commit 41a6328b2c55 ("hv_netvsc: Preserve contiguous PFN grouping in the page buffer array"), an entry describes a full physically contiguous fragment and

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/srp: bound SRP_RSP sense copy by the received length srp_process_rsp() copies sense data from rsp->data + resp_data_len, where resp_data_len is the full 32-bit value supplied by the SRP target and is never checked against the number of bytes actually received (wc->byte_len). The copy length is bounded to SCSI_SENSE_BUFFERSIZE, so at most 96 bytes are copied, but the source offset is not bounded. A malicious or compromised SRP target on the InfiniBand/RoCE fabric that the initiator has logged into can return an SRP_RSP with SRP_RSP_FLAG_SNSVALID set and a large resp_data_len. The receive buffer is allocated at the target-chosen max_ti_iu_len, so the source of the sense copy lands past the bytes actually received; with resp_data_len near 0xFFFFFFFF it is gigabytes past the buffer and the read faults. Copy the sense data only if it has not been truncated, that is, only if the response header, the response data, and the sense region fit within the bytes actually received; otherwise drop the sense and log. The in-tree iSER and NVMe-RDMA receive paths already bound their parse by wc->byte_len; this brings ib_srp

As a result parse() runs in O(n^2) time relative to the number of input tokens. An attacker who can supply an attacker-controlled string to any code path that calls parse() (no shell metacharacters are required; plain space-separated words suffice) can block the single-threaded Node.js event loop for an extended period with a small input, resulting in a denial of service. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: landlock: Fix LOG_SUBDOMAINS_OFF inheritance across fork() hook_cred_transfer() only copies the Landlock security blob when the source credential has a domain. This is inconsistent with landlock_restrict_self() which can set LOG_SUBDOMAINS_OFF on a credential without creating a domain (via the ruleset_fd=-1 path): the field is committed but not preserved across fork() because the child's prepare_creds() calls hook_cred_transfer() which skips the copy when domain is NULL. This breaks the documented use case where a process mutes subdomain logs before forking sandboxed children: the children lose the muting and their domains produce unexpected audit records. Fix this by unconditionally copying the Landlock credential blob.

This means if another link to reg is created like: another_reg = reg ; another_reg should get the id of reg but assign_scalar_id_before_mov() sees BPF_ADD_CONST on reg and assigns a new id to it. As reg has a new id now, known_reg's link to reg is broken. If we find new bounds for known_reg, they will not be propagated to reg. When generating an ICMP Destination Unreachable or Packet Too Big response, the handler copies a portion of the original packet into the ICMP error body using the IP header's self-declared total length (ip_tot_len for IPv4, ip6_plen for IPv6) without validating it against the actual packet buffer size. A VM can send a short packet with an inflated IP length field that triggers an ICMP error (e.g., by hitting a reject ACL), causing ovn-controller to read heap memory beyond the valid packet data and include it in the ICMP response sent back to the VM.

Apr 22, 2026The cp utility in uutils coreutils, when performing recursive copies (-R), incorrectly treats character and block device nodes as stream sources rather than preCVE-2026-35358 · Other software · Uutils · reported by security@ubuntu.comMedium 4.4
The cp utility in uutils coreutils, when performing recursive copies (-R), incorrectly treats character and block device nodes as stream sources rather than preserving them. Because the implementation reads bytes into regular files at the destination instead of using mknod, device semantics are destroyed (e.g., /dev/null becomes a regular file). This behavior can lead to runtime denial of service through disk exhaustion or process hangs when reading from unbounded device nodes.

Apr 2, 2026Copier is a library and CLI app for rendering project templates.CVE-2026-34730 · Other software · copier-org · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5
Copier is a library and CLI app for rendering project templates. Prior to version 9.14.1, Copier's _external_data feature allows a template to load YAML files using template-controlled paths. If untrusted templates are in scope, a malicious template can read attacker-chosen YAML-parseable local files that are accessible to the user running Copier and expose their contents in rendered output. This issue has been patched in version 9.14.1.

Apr 2, 2026Copier is a library and CLI app for rendering project templates.CVE-2026-34726 · Other software · copier-org · reported by GitHubMedium 4.4
Copier is a library and CLI app for rendering project templates. Prior to version 9.14.1, Copier's _subdirectory setting is documented as the subdirectory to use as the template root. However, the current implementation accepts parent-directory traversal such as .. and uses it directly when selecting the template root. As a result, a template can escape its own directory and make Copier render files from the parent directory without --UNSAFE. This issue has been patched in version 9.14.1.

Mar 5, 2026lxml_html_clean is a project for HTML cleaning functionalities copied from `lxml.html.clean`.CVE-2026-28350 · Other software · fedora-python · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1
lxml_html_clean is a project for HTML cleaning functionalities copied from `lxml.html.clean`. Prior to version 0.4.4, the <base> tag passes through the default Cleaner configuration. While page_structure=True removes html, head, and title tags, there is no specific handling for <base>, allowing an attacker to inject it and hijack relative links on the page. This issue has been patched in version 0.4.4.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
